let’s go to the NFL Rob and Kurt Warner Hall of Fame quarterback was asked why he you know who’s he looking forward to watching most this season Aaron Rodgers or uh kurk cousins and not surprisingly he said Aaron Rogers I think most people as much as you know be interesting to see what cousins does in Atlanta but Aaron Rogers is one of the biggest stories in the League this year so we all want to see what he can do but um here’s why Warner said he’s so excited about seeing Aaron roggers Aaron you know is one of the best quarterbacks our league has ever seen but he doesn’t get into the greatest conversation uh until he gets to another Superbowl having him switch teams having him come back at 40 years old uh you know with with off of an Achilles the New York Jets who have never won and this could maybe set Aon in kind of a different category I mean kind of what was able to do with Arizona that elevated me back to a different status than it would have been had I just had great success with uh with St Louis uh Kurt Warner the Jets did win I know it was a long time ago but he said the Jets never won uh they won the Super Bowl in 1969 just I don’t know that Warner was born then but he might have been he still covers the NFL Chris you need to know that the I me I think it’s kind of a I I don’t know if you meant that literally or if you meant I’m not trying to protect I just you’re protecting him he was wrong he just said it’s fine all right okay fine um what do you think about what he said about Rogers I don’t think there’s anything there of course he needs to get to another Super Bowl I think uh people look at it uh at Aaron roders and think that there should have been another one we we could already detail all the games that that were there that didn’t happen and the game in Seattle would had a shot and the onside kick was muffed and all these other situations and circumstances um so I I think what he stated is is more obvious it’s hard to be in any kind of greatest conversation when you just won one Super Bowl even though he’s won four MVPs and he has a lot of Records in the NFL and he said that he’s one of the best quarterbacks so I I think what he said was standard or made total sense I I don’t even if he wins a Super Bowl with the Jets which I don’t expect he’s not in the greatest quarterback of all time conversation I mean now that we’ve seen Patrick mahom like obviously you got Brady with seven Super Bowls but I mean I don’t think anybody’s putting Aaron Rogers ahead of Patrick Mahomes even if they win the Super Bowl so I don’t think he’s I mean unless he went on like one the next two with the Jets or something like that I don’t think he’s getting in that goat quarterback discussion he’s in the top five discussion for sure and will stay there regardless of what happens with the Jets but I don’t think he’s you know getting in the goat convo um but I do goad yeah I’m gonna say the only reason if he is is his career passing rating Chris is 103.6 and his touchdown to inter interception ratio is 4.5 to 2.1 both are the highest in 4.5 I’m sorry two to one Chris as far as the touchdown interception ratio both are the highest in the NFL in NFL history that that’s the only reason why he would be in that conversation even that won’t put him in but I’m just saying nobody has a higher passer rating no matter what and nobody has that touchdown I’m it’s all objective so what your subjective what your stand it is or what you see doesn’t mean that that no somebody else might not look at him people looked at danam Marino without a Super Bowl Chris and thought he was the greatest quarterback they ever saw so just saying that he couldn’t be in that conversation even if they won a Super Bowl maybe in your opinion but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be some people who will look at it of course there’s a couple people here I mean we had uh Rod um Rod Woodson on and say he thinks Dan Marino is the best quarterback he’s ever seen so yeah there’ll be people here there but he doesn’t want want to calling the super but he want um Eli Manning Eli Manny get the Hall of Fame right so so that’s my point that even heightens my point like of course everybody’s going to have opinions heck there are some players in the league today that think Paul George is the goat I mean so people can have you know thoughts and feelings and opinions but do you think most people if Aaron Rogers leaves the Jets to the Super Bowl would have him in the goat conversation it would put him on a different level because the Jets haven’t won since 1969 and and that’s what it’s all about that’s not what I asked yeah I’m but I’m telling you that he be in the goat conversation for some people they would look at him and say hey look at what Brady’s done yes Brady’s had these great defenses Brady was on teams that cheated there will be a conver ation that people could talk Brady down wow Aaron Rogers showed up to the Chris I’m can I talk I’m trying to you been talking all I’m just adding one hear it then you don’t want I said one sentence I can’t I can’t say one sentence come on look get on the show or leave the building Rob I mean come on no but you’re always interrupting me would you stop would you stop and you’ve done it asking me so when I try to give you a conversation every time you just don’t want to hear it goe think that he can which is fine Chris buard what I’m trying to tell you is there’ll be other people who will be able to go over so what’s the conversation then of course if it’s course I don’t know what that means what does that mean you said the most what does that mean what number 65% 55 I don’t know will you I don’t if he it depends on what the season is what he does if they win the Super Bowl he’s MVP if he does it and he has an another MVP season at 40 regular season goes to the Super Bowl has the Jets win the championship and does something unbelievable throws a touchdown to win with three seconds left yes he’s in that conversation he’s in what conversation the greatest quarterback of all time because I would take a look at his entire body of work the four MVPs all the other stuff that that went on in his career the quarterback rating the touchdown the interception ratio I would have to look at all of that and say my god he has five MVPs he won a second Super Bowl with a franchise that’s been dead for 40 years yes he would be in that conversation look would you look at the fact that he’s one in four in NFC championship games and had nine touch oh can I think can I talk can I talk can I talk you know what I don’t want to do the show that’s how you you ask me a question you finish the question said you said finish the question you asked me a question and then when I tried to answer it you didn’t want to hear it the question was this would you take into consideration that he’s W in four in NFC championship games with nine touchdowns and eight interceptions a guy a guy who claim the fame a guy who’s claim to fame is that he doesn’t turn the ball over has eight interceptions and five NFC Title Games with that factor in it all no comment well if you’re not commenting the rest of greatest I just told you you superhero well cuz I need to see MVP throws the game touch the Super Bowl if they just win the Super Bowl and he’s a pro bowler Chris this whole topic is hypothetical so yes I can my own hypothetical he throws for 480 yards five touchdowns no picks and he’s MVP of the Season jets go undefeated they win the championship yeah he’s in the go he still ain’t in the go conversation stop it
