thank you uh what were you seeing from the course today that led to such a strong start yeah I think uh you know it’s was getting getting off to a nice start there bir in the 10th hole um I think for us you know going into the day we knew that there was going to be some tough pin locations and really just trying to kind of accept what the golf course was giving us um just trying to get the ball in position as much as we possibly could and uh was able to drive it pretty well and um got to give a shout out to my caddy Travis’s birthday today um so he did a really a good job out there and it was a lot of fun sorry what’s Travis’s last night Perkins thanks and uh obviously you also had two Eagles Shan oir had an eagle what about the conditions today is lending itself to shooting so low just on single holes yeah I think um you know with all the rain we had early in the week the greens are still pretty receptive um and so that makes a big difference on par FS when you have you know a long iron or a wood coming in there to be able to you know stop the ball pretty quick makes a huge difference um so I think that was really the in my round today you know making two Eagles um you know kind of kick started me and uh it’s overall solid round and what’s the reception been like for you from the Canadian fans so far oh I love it I love coming up here especially being a member of Team RBC it’s uh I look forward to this event every year uh the fans are incredible uh the community always supports this event so well and uh I love I really do love coming up here thanks what was it like um you know it’s just been a whirlwind being a dad for the first time how does I guess life feel different as a dead yeah it’s been incredible um you know I’d be lying if I didn’t say it was tough coming up here having to leave them but uh they’re coming out the next three weeks so that’ll be really fun um yeah it’s it’s the best um I definitely don’t want to to be at the golf course as much as I used to be um I like spending time at home more with my wife and and child now um but it’s it’s been really fun uh my wife’s incredible uh incredible mother U so that’s been really cool to see have you like compared to any fatherhood notes with Scotty at all uh a little bit um he’s had kind of had a lot going on recently too so uh we’re staying together in the house next week so we’ll get to catch up what’s um how is the off week different as a dad than it might be in the past without a kid yeah uh I haven’t gotten up at 2 a.m. uh much in the past to change diaper uh so doing that a lot now um but I think really just uh getting to spend quality time with with Caroline and Little Bear uh has been incredible the name what was the inspo for the name yeah I don’t know I somehow saw something kind of came up with it um and and I got the got the permission granted from Caroline so uh she was on board and he just kind of looks like a little beer so it worked out thanks thank you
