today I take on an absolute legend of the game former world number one and Rider cup hero Lee [Music] Westwood that’s cool just to say this close and it’s here at close’s house his home Golf Course over 18 holes that look like a dangerous swing from Lee that that looked like something just clicked clicked into place there got a bird juice now though be ready because this match goes down to the wire Nick had his hand on his head like that almost was dunk oh is a clutch up down that really good oh 7,000 that’s fine that’s all right 7,000 fine for you cuz you’re long longish don’t go where I want it to match play 18 holes yeah good luck Good Luck play well play well enjoy yourself oh well it’s kind of like that back bunker isn’t it really straight at that trap you’ll be pleased to know I’m not sure how did you hit it on the Range on the Range I was fine right however you’ll be pleased to know at this course I don’t ever broke 80 doing it like that that’s what I’m trying what pressure on I shouldn’t lose around a course named after me should I really not really I mean it some would consider it embarrassing not me personally well I would I’d consider it embarrassing good lie front Fringe I thought that might fly but it didn’t very top great line on that what did you have there Zapped is the watch not working it is I just what it say it says it said 156 Middle yeah that’s pretty good had had 164 I think the pin’s probably three or four back of middle so that wind is the this is the first time I played this course when it’s not been blown an absolute Gale me too yeah sit down sit down sit down sit down what did you hit so I hit an eight just a little one that might be the fastest ball speed of an A in the history of golf that that is a prop flyer that was okay as soon as I hit it I 2,000 spin had flames on it actually can’t believe I N I felt fine on the Range warming up and now I’m all Twitchy as anything right bit of a weird one like the ball sat up and then there’s like this much rough below it so I kind of need to connect with it can’t dig almost just got to like pop it cheers yeah not too bad it R on a bit could this be a classic match play moment oh they’ve even painted the holes top tips of green Keepers if you ever want to add on another star on your Google review just taking the inside of the holes and you pretty much though remember last time I played it I found these greens like really tricky to read right in the middle jez must be the grip must be best grip in best gripping go oh oh went right straight away one up maybe pushed it loosener I’m not going to lie that’s literally my uh goal of the day achieved there up just one hole that’s all that’s all was I that’s all I was after [Music] okay second hole 390 straight up the hill got a carry it a nice house behind the is that yours Le no no all right come on good strike I got all right I think yeah bit ncky again what tea is that that you’re [Laughter] using Le I’m about to change your life this is a a torti torti have you ever used a torty before I haven’t am I missing out I there’s few things that I would recommend more than a torty a tea in golf it’s got limited uses to be fair SW oh sit there there yeah nice shot bit into the breeze yeah best thing about switching that driver like I almost did that from the shaft and it sounded good enough to convince Lee that I did a good shot really do sound good don’t they yeah hly it’s been an absolute Lifesaver this thing this must be my most recommended Club i’ literally not got a bad word to say about it what I would say is you have a look at the guys that don’t have a driver contract and see which driver they use it’s always been they use that one well ads on tour aren’t mugs they use the best equipment sorry if uh you caught any of them speak with a mouthful got some bags of sweet in front what we got Bing mix oh man trying to be Health yeah makx genuine feeling these aren’t going to last six hes there about like how good the course has becoming like literally the last weak everywhere suffered so much but it’s looking absolutely fantastic now a little bit right to left get in close is I got a little 12T radius I like to be in uh the trouble is now I’m going to give you the line trouble is if you hold it might M can’t missed the because the holes have been painted it’s very true they do look very big they look so [Music] big not big enough eh I I’m blaming the paint for making the holes crusty that would have gone in without the paint that ball repellent paint That’s St in well yours didn’t really seem to move too much it didn’t move a lot inside the oil I think po yes blame the grip I mean listen there is a fantastic grip I’ve got a few of these if you have you Jo and the thing in the end you they just tracks you around yeah so will that say on on an app or something that you’ve B it from 6 feet yeah it’ll it’ll say first of all that I’ve lost about five of a stroke on the it’s playing a lot more than that 420 yeah so like back bunker yeah far trap oh let’s get right of it it’s got block fade as well as a hook yeah it is that rough oh I’ve got them more got all the shots it’s not really one I need to it’s not it’s okay there I’ve actually H it bad enough to miss that bunker and not bad enough to be in the the Deep stuff it’ll be fine Nice Nice Shot oh a little pimp step as well I like it paage sparing that pimp step and there the similarity has 117 playing 127 probably yeah it’s one the things where I it does tend to flatten things out but like one of the big challenges here are the slope changes elevation changes especially when it’s windy which it normally is we going straight at the pen yeah nice shot cool it’s cool just to see be this close oh my God I can touch it yeah so could be a bit of a flyer but it’s better to be long than short so I got 108 but it’s probably playing 118 thought he was telling me I thought i’ missed a divot somewhere right 12 120 is playing two down I better get my finger out no it’s okay leave your finger in oh left and it looks like it’s flown a little bit long long again yeah long left couple of Flyers so far that came out fast didn’t it yeah I mean just need to hit some Fairways and I won’t have to bother with it but just trying to see all the C you know you bit of Fairway it the third oh yeah yeah cool I done better than usual all right was that a wedge uh that was a 50° foky yeah kind of I pulled it a torch but again I was I just didn’t want to be short but well you’re not short thank you so I think like morally I’m winning really all right so we’re down here left to right and it’s just going to go down towards the pin Lees it a very good shot in here simmer simmer that was crap flyer ah I’ll be it’s the white around the holes just sucks it in doesn’t it yeah I had a putting lesson off polter a few weeks back in Hong Kong I’ve always had my ball position miles forward and kind of gone like that and and used the but of the club to drag the head through never really released it released it so he’s he got me ball position further back and then almost feeling like I’m Michel left shoulder staying down and stopping and the club’s like doing that taking over finishing more left and there all right so like this Haled and that kind of carrying on yeah so actually the B of the club doesn’t move as far and you can feel the release oh okay down the bottom where as balls further back you’re going to be coming a little bit more inside there aren’t you as well so well ball further back you know if it’s further up forward you’re more likely to go like that if it’s back you’re more likely to stay back and do this that way I know that stop and then using that as your pivot to release yeah sorry [Music] everyone let St over the corner of that wall is your line not there trap pit short of him didn’t it yeah but it’ll reach it it’ll reach him yeah cuz there is a bit more room left than it back I’d be bouncing off that wall yeah oh no that must have mud on it that’s out of bounds wa see it must have had some mud on it told you it’s this grass up here came out sideways is it in the tropical conditions it’s just growing all over the place yeah Northeast Bermuda that’s what they got up just shot off left I’m in the bunker so I can’t actually remember last time I played thatway bunker shot 120 down the slope I don’t think it’s a full Gap so I’m just going to try and control a little pitching wed in there slightly back and right of that pin that is awful was it sat down a bit no that’s just my lack of ability it did look like it was sat down to fraction in your defense I mean I I thank you for your kind words I don’t don’t deserve an excuse on that one I’m sorry everybody game this is nice this is a nice lead into the short game instructional that you’re going to do yeah of course let’s let’s try and get some good shots first though least great I’ve got an absolute ton of green to work with um balls not Ling too bad so going try and fly it most of the way so yeah I’m going try and fly this pretty much all the way to The Fringe so that release down and right oh little bit clean not happy hands on his zp just settle down just like think through your shots I’m so on edge right well it’s a pretty good lie I’m a bit it’s a little bit uphill I’ve got a lob wedge I want to be landing it two three yards on the green and just letting it run out from left to right like that I didn’t aim it far enough left else it would have had a chance not bad though 2 and 1/2 ft 2 and 1/2 ft be driving it down oh definitely although I have seen you drive today and it’s just get it somewhere within the vicinity of the next t Okay a few moments later the mudle have been on the right hand side of the ball whenever it’s on the right hand side of the ball in the direction that you going it’ll go left and if it’s on the left hand side of the ball it’ll go right is that just CU it like effects spin yeah it’s like shineing the side of a cricket ball or you know when a crown green ball has got a bias on it it slows one side of the ball down and speeds The Other Side Up basically yeah I didn’t do a a full talk through on my shot to where I was missing out good roll you had to fancy that for a while oh that look good there you go see I told you right pts and you put in lesson easy oh back to all square pter we haven’t even hared a hole yet no I don’t think we have have we no no good end to endend game this is what you want to see few more birdies and we’re on for that’s what I’m going to do with it sat down like that with a hybrid you just like just playing it as normal just trusting it yeah I might put it back in my stance a bit and get a bit steeper on it all the grass is growing with you going this way that’s really the only reason why I’m hitting it a bit of an UPS slope or there is this mound here but if it clears that it might have a chance of scampering up or do that and it go in the next trap that’s why I should have been at instead of trying to be clever called that didn’t I in that mound I mean you did you did CAU I think that was the last thing you said before you H then yeah uh I got this rake from the bunker by the way I don’t just carry this around car raake around with you good good preparation I got my ball scoop in there as well all right so I’m just going to go pitch and wedge and just try and just smuggle it down there 100 yards or so mhm that one yeah all that pitch off yeah might escape with a half don’t deserve one I’m just I’m going to have to basically knock this on and hold my putt to stand any chance on this one oh Pete over the top where abouts are you y uh is that your bowling action or your go swing think may be cutting it in there I think I’m going to use my over the top movement that I’ve got today nope wow m a hole off well you came over the top ah I’ve been working so hard on getting more shallow as well need to turn into that get in the air of bit and shallow it it’s fine what a CH is when you do that to get the club out you kind have to throw your hips out don’t you no yeah all right chip in for a a par not too bad would have been great if that was for a birdie it’s actually quite tricky isn’t a great lie and I’m I’m got to land it right on this side slope here so I’m going to be carrying it about couple of feet on the green I’ve got a few shots to play with fortunately it’s going to have to be a bit of a safety one and take the five rather than try and get it too close not great he’s got two and it’s going to throw it straight left so and all the grass was lying into me so when you play them like that you tend to get a lot of grass between the ball and the club so you know it’s going to release fast although that one’s landed pretty dead so you’re not guaranteed of a perfect strike but I’m quite happy with that looks like he’s conceding it to me I good I’ll get you
