this is Joshua har here 4 seconds out delighted today to be drawn by Jamie Moore Jamie it’s fight week Josh Taylor Jack car or the rematch uh how are we feeling first of all how are we I’m all right man are you I’m very very well very happy to be here biggest fight week of the year domestically um we’ll get straight into things you know for Jack this is the biggest fight of his career I’d say in terms of bragging right so when we look at the first fight there was a lot more on the line but this one I think it’s a bit of a bigger fight now British boxing fans are interested fully they’re fully invested in this fight um as a coach just how big is this fight for yourself yeah obviously it’s a huge fight domestically um I think I disagree in the in the in the from the terms of it’s a bigger fight for us because obviously the the titles was on the line last time but but in terms of what it means for Jack’s career and you know sort of the trajectory where it’ll go afterwards yeah it’s it’s a massive fight and um you know maybe maybe that period of time in between where it sort of matured and and grew legs and and and the the sort of delay has has made it more intriguing and more you know people are anticipating it more and I was training camp gone obiously before we before we fully get into the training camp in the matchroom um training camp documentary they did you got that really raw bit of footage I spoke to Sam Jones about this about when he gets the call from Tom Granton saying listen this fight is off um in in the heat at the moment what was going through your head at the moment well I just felt sick you know like because the fight had been been on and off a few times before that the initial reaction was it’s not going to happen but you know thankfully it was only a delay of um of four weeks and um nothing really changed you know we just had to take our foot off the gas a little bit and um and in a few little ways he helps us because he’s had a little bit more rest in between his harder sessions cuz he he was s of in front of where he needed to be and it’s made him made a wait that little bit bit better so um so every cloud as this Silver Lining you know what to say was there any thought obviously not obviously I know after about an hour you’re going to think right okay it’s just a a little for delay but was there any other any ever thought that this fight could happen especially with the history of how many times a rematch has been penciled in was there ever any doubt in the mind you seen Jack’s initial reaction was like it I’m not fighting him and and I honestly thought that was it know it’ been made and fell out fell through that many times that that moment in time I thought it’s not going to happen but then you know after about an half an hour and Sam had been on on phone back and forward to Frank Smith we realized it was only a delay in four we delay then um I was more confident it was going to happen and when we look at the training camp obviously I think this fight is one of those where you know we know tensions are high we know there’s bad BL between them as a former fighter yourself and you’ve probably been in fights where you know it’s been a little bit hotheaded um how do you help Jack keep it keep his head at times and not let the emotions get the best of him Jack’s one of them Fighters where he’s like a dream to train and and and and from the sense of you know I don’t have to crack the wiip with him he he grasp when he needs to grasp the the main thing after is tell him to make sure he he has enough rest and um from a temperament point of view he’s the perfect type of guy to be involved in this type of fight because he sort of he’s very good at keeping a cool head you know emotionless really and um you know whether whether Jack whether Josh can try and sort of he’s going to try and RI him and get him um emotionally involved remains to be seen but but from from all my experience over the years with Jack he he doesn’t rise to that he’s a his Cool Cam collected how does Saturday night go obviously you know how Jack looked in the gym what did you expect to see in the ring on Saturday night I expect a better performance from Jack you know going into the into the first fight he was saw of unknown territory and he’d not box for 16 months um you know no nobody really gave Jack a chance um everyone was quite surprised with the sort of confidence we had in Jack but it’s because I know I know him inside out I’ve seen what he can do and he’s in much better form now you know he’s he’s he’s had consistency you know he’s box regular and um I expect a better performance um you know whether he whether he can stop him remain remain to be seen but I just I I anticipate in fighting win for Jack I’ve got to ask you about last weekend Fury versus usk the Undisputed heavyweight championship of the world um what did you make of the fight first of all it was a it was almost the polar opposite to what the fans expected wasn’t it in many ways I mean a lot of people was picking fi to sort of try and box him on the back foot but usyk was was phenomenal in the way he close the distance and used that pressure with his feet sort of in right in front of him and sort of mental pressure um where where he was triggering him and drawing shots out of him come through a few rough patches in the middle rounds and then came on strong and and and was close by by the end but I thought he the right person won I suppose after about six seven rounds a lot of people were almost thinking Fury looks in control it’s his fight to lose now then out of nowhere usk L is an unbelievable shot and we’ve seen Fury in a worst way then I think probably the worst way we’ve ever seen him especially when you think of the fight has he’s been in there with um it’s quite remarkable isn’t it seeing the way us the way usk got him well consistency you know he trusts he trusted in his in his skill set and his timing is phenomenal with that backhand and and as the fight goes on as long as you keep that sort of timing in the pressure he drew them faints he drew the shots and and and he came on with that with a counter back on over the top and um and he changed the fight he sort of flipped it on his said I think fi was probably gaining a bit of moment at that point and um and he turned on he said and that’s what great Fighters do I Fury was very quick in the press conference post fight to say um he was unhappy with the corner saying there was probably from what it seemed there was too many voices there there was too many people tell him to do too many different things and they didn’t communicate that you know he was down on the cards he in his words said if he knew he was down he would have done something about it going into 11 and 12 um as a coach obviously you know how to handle a corner do you feel it should just be one voice and one voice only yeah I mean me and have worked together for years now and and we sort of understand each other and and he would never talk over me at the same time you know we have had those conversations over the years and vice versa I think he’s about knowing each other and working alongside each other but um hindsight’s great is it you know if if if fi would have won that fight no one would have said anything about the corner so um so I understand people’s concerns and and opinions but but you know safer instance that ninth round didn’t turn the fight and fi won it on the on the cards by a couple of rounds I don’t I I feel like nobody would have said anything about the corner so it’s only because he lost the fight people are talking about it so um so you know it is what it is and how what needs to change going into the rematch um I guess you can say on both ends because it wasn’t a perfect performance from either you know usyk obviously got tagged quite early on what needs to change may may maybe that one punch changed the trajectory of the fight but I’ve got a feeling that usk worked worked Fury out by the midpoint you know he struggled with M and he worked him out and I’ve Got a Feeling he’d start a rematch better Fury I believe would have to do something different I don’t think he could could do the same thing and expect a different result so um which which he’s got it in his locker he’s definitely got a few different strings for his ball where he could change things up and you know maybe utilize his size better this time um I’m not saying do it throughout maybe go in and out of those Styles but uh but usk’s usk’s brain is like an alien you know the way he works you out and feet are phenomenal and I just feel like he’s probably he he’s probably going to do the same again but he’s going to start what he what he sort of picked up from the midpoint earlier and a very last thing to talk about June 22nd you’ve got a Cameron V and a fi back in Action we’ll start off with Cameron the rescheduled date with Jordan Flynn um how’s preparation going for cam yeah good good he’s uh he’s he had a little Niger which delayed the fight but he’s over that now and um and and he’s always in he’s always in good shape he’s always training he lives for the sport and um and it’s a good fight it’s a good fight at this stage of his career it’s a good learning fight you know sure he’ll be tested in the fight but I’m you know I’m 100% confident in his inability he’ll come through it and um and in the long run it’ be one of those fights where you look back and you go you know what that was a bit of a test but he stood me in better stead in the future when he gets into bigger fights than he would if he was just fighting sort of everyday journeyman it show the confidence that not just yourself but Sam matro having him taking him on the Jordan Flynn’s no he’s no roll over he’ll be there to win does it just show the confidence that you guys all have in him I think that’s evident you know we we’ve not shied away even the way he’s been matched even before that there’s not been your typical sort of easy walkovers so um so yeah I think it’s obvious with the confidence we’ve got in his ability um and you know I’m sure he’ll showcase that on June 32nd and AIP F’s back for the first time since the defeat to re against Kane Baker again Kane Baker we know what he about his game as anything um it’s a very tough fight for the comeback and especially when it is going to be Kane’s final professional fight at home in Birmingham it’s got It’s got all the ingredients to be a fantastic fight doesn’t it of course it has and again you know we box Kane I think it was akb’s fifth fight or something like that you know we I I’m a big believer in when you’ve got a prospect coming through and they’ve got ability you shouldn’t undermatch him you should you should match him you know it at the time it was a match where it was a bit of a question mark you know was it too early for him but he but he proved that it wasn’t and um and and similarly now you know we know it’s not an easy fight we know Kane’s going to come give it his own but it’s a good fight for akib but I I don’t want akib to go backwards and and just Bo someone who’s going to Shell up and not give him anything to think about so um and I really like kanee you know I’ve got a lot of time for him over the years since the first fight with akib you know got a lot of respect for him and uh and people like him are so important for this sport because he’s the type of you you wouldn’t even call him a journeyman he’s the type of opponent where win or lose you get something from him you know akib gained a lot of experience from the first time and I’m sure he’s going to have a hell of a fight for him this time but again I’m confident that ak’s got the ability to come through it Jam it’s a good place to leave it thank you very much for your time and best of luck on Saturday night thank you [Music]

  1. Yeah, no sh*t you muppet. The reason it is being mentioned is because it's a contributing factor to his loss .

  2. Usyk won 114 – 113. To be honest, 113 – 114 Fury is not a wrong score too. I gave it to Usyk. So not a super clear win

  3. Regardless of the speculation…

The fact that Fury was battered from one pillar to the next in round nine clearly shows that USYK is the better man. FFKS, anything else is Bullshite

  4. What the actual f*ck is going on? EVERYWHERE i look people are talking about Fury. Are you all blind??? He’s nowhere near as good as Usyk, and EVEN IF (he wont) wins any rematch, the damage is done. Usyk took his 0, and he got exposed as not one of the greatest ever as he likes to proclaim. Above average in a rubbish era! Simple!

  5. First 3 rounds 2-1 either way there was nothing in them rounds 4,5,6,7 Fury 8 Usyk 9 (10-8 Usyk) 10,11 Usyk 12 Fury

If you had Fury 2-1 up after 3 Usyk wins by 1 point right man won in the end imo but it wasn’t a landslide by no means people going off round 9 making it sound like it was a beat down for 12 rounds it was far from it

  6. 🤣Fury won rds 4-5-6, while rd 3 and 7 are debatable. That's 117-110 to 115-112, anyway the fight should have been stopped or let it play out = done Fury not protecting himself or not a proper KD "ropes holding Fury" as many experts point out. Biased ref or human error, but that Canadian judge clearly paid off!

  7. I could listen to Jamie all day very knowledgeable trainer indeed Don’t forget Jack had demons to beat in his 18mths off he’s got over them times now and his time is Now

  8. Absulote stupid thing too say, obviously no one would as the advice would be correct but they aren't telling him he's downbgoing into the 11th never mind 12th lol

  9. Usyk is the product of a well-oiled machine! The rematch should also be intriguing.

In the H. Fury-Pulev fight, H. Fury and P. Fury had to change the game plan. As P. Fury has always stated, it is all about executing the game plan first. It is not first and foremost about scoring points and getting knockouts as those are just merely by-products of the game plan.

When H. Fury was cut, he and P. Fury decided to go for the knockout. It was a big departure from the original game plan but they had no choice as they knew the referee could stop the fight at anytime due to that cut.

Going for knockouts should be done out of necessity. Going for knockouts should never be the sole or even primary strategy due to machohood and bravado. This is what Peter Fury has said for many years. Yet Sugar Hill and T. Fury were citing this for these reasons only. While T. Fury is known for talking bravado just for the sake of talking bravado, Hill is not. He was dead serious when he said that this fight would be a chess match for sometime and then T. Fury would catch up with Usyk to knock him out. Hill really wanted T. Fury to make a statement like that by knocking out Usyk.

The only statement P. Fury feels needs to be made is for his fighter to get the clear and unquestionable victory. T. Fury's victory over W. Klitschko was boring and unexciting. However that triumph was clear and was not subject to questioning.

Boxing is not about being macho. It is about using both aggressive and conservative methods to win and also about countering those methods used by the opponent. Peter Fury has pretty much expressed this over the years. There is no one other than him who can help T. Fury come up with the right combinations of thinking and doing, acting and reacting, and complexity and simplicity for the entire fight.

  10. FURY WINS, NOBODY QUESTIONS THE CORNER!' – Jamie Moore.
Not true. I was questioning Fury’s corner live and in the moment—especially between the 11th and 12th rounds—before I even knew the winner. And I bet you many others watching it live were questioning the corner as well. I like Moore’s theory, though, and many people would buy into it.
