check this out inside is a brand new putter that I’m going to review here on the hit Channel now it’s from a brand called Indie if you remember last time when they sent me some wedges which are actually incredibly good I put them in the bag they actually sent it in a guitar case very impressed this time they’ve sent it in almost what was like a a military missile case um I have had a sneak preview I can’t wait to show you last time like I said I was very impressed with the wedges will the putter have the same impact let’s open it up and see what’s inside this incredible case I don’t believe if you buy it you will get it like this this is just a bit of a uh a publicity to to certainly get my attention it does work so inside look at this oh my goodness that is really cool first off I mean there’s lots going on I love this this catches my attention straight away Rick it’s time to roll the Rock and we’ve got the putter inside we’ll come on to the putter in a moment and also there’s a little bit of Spiel I want to talk about as well which is quite interesting look at the case though they’ve actually put in these are pling cards and actually on the back they’ve even had the RS Logo put on very cool and they had the poker chips made with Indi Golf and rs I like it nice touch actually a full box of playing cards RS playing cards Kings of spin we don’t want that with the putter um this is actually sneak preview of the putter head here and what’s interesting the head itself the middle section of the head that is so outrageously light like unbelievably light but then these two tungsten weights which go in the end are really really heavy so that’s to stabilize the head right let’s have a look at the putter first off nice head cover um really premium it’s got the kind of Indie we had this discussion last time of what the logo is kind of looks like a sloth also depends on what angle you look at it has loads of different kind of shapes and patterns to it that’s a good quality head cover and inside again we’ve just seen the the actual prototype head there but that’s the putter head it’s black in design it’s got these kind of quite vibrant blue alignment lines you’ve got Indie written up there on the back and actually on the bottom here it’s Indie Cash Cash Money suppose if you’re going to make some money in this game you’ve got to be a good putter um aircraft aluminum is the middle section that’s honestly that this I wish I I wish you could all feel how light that is I mean it’s unbelievably light I would I would say that’s lighter than the golf ball and then the shaft we got a nice blacked out shaft it’s pretty cool and actually I don’t think they allil come with this but India put this on for me this is the super stroke claw grip they obviously know that I hold it with a claw grip and this is a putter it’s almost almost quite Square to rectangular in shape to help me hold it it’s actually a nice feel that now all this is well and good but I’m not going to be swayed by some marketing gimmicky box with some fancy playing cards not me that that’s not how it works on this channel it’s all about perform performance of the putter it’s quite interesting this document that Indie have sent have some very bold claims in very bold indeed they reckon this putter is a better putter than a ping putter an Odyssey putters and even Scotty Cameron putters they reckon this putter this Indie putter which let’s be honest hardly any of you have heard of troopy told they reckon they’re better in all those Brands and the way they’ve done that is by having that super lightweight body and those tungsten weights in the end off centered hits even severely off-centered hits the performance of the roll out will still be consistent like your ball will still finish inches away from the hole rather than feet away and this full document is all been scientifically proven it’s all been tested on robot testing and this is another very bold claim apparently the cash putter which I’m holding my arm here is outrageously easier to to a line so if you’re using this putter you can aim at your target 80% of the time compare that to like an odyssey or a ping or a Scotty they reckon Scotty Camerons you only align it to your target line less than 20% so they reckon this is four times better at lineing up to your line to your target line and really all it is is those blue lines on top not quite sure about that one but hey let’s give this a test let’s hit some PS here at the marot let’s see how it rolls let see how it feels let’s see how it performs on Miss strikes and then give you guys the honest truth of what I think about this Indie putter now all this sounds great so far right but get this the price this putter is $479 I nearly fainted when I heard that $479 for this putter I’m I’m finding that hard to believe and you don’t you don’t get that fancy case not that I know of anyway uh that seems super super expensive for a putter that’s really not well known at all from a brand that’s really apart from even just me testing the wedges probably not many of you have ever heard about before however it’s not about the brand or even the price to some degree albeit that is very expensive it’s about how this putter performs right come on then this should be easy to line up pretty much if I hit it anywhere on the face it should get to the hole and considering the the body of the putter is so light actually when I’m swinging it like this it doesn’t feel light at all it feels almost feels heavier than my normal [Music] putter thought I was going to do it first but that felt surprisingly softer than I expected it to I almost felt like because I’ve seen the the the sample head in the box and you can see the it’s kind of like a you can see through this aircraft aluminum I expected it to have a much more high pitch noise it didn’t it felt really nice actually it felt soft almost like it has an insert on the face and it doesn’t it just mil the the putter actual face is just Mill it’s a good it is a good looking Putter and that genuinely felt really nice the feel is phenomenal I’m going to try to different po H that’s an interesting one I hit that one well and that actually didn’t seem to roll as nice as the other two big dirty lip out right I we hit loads more puts get a proper understanding you know what’s interesting so my I’ve seen it on video before when I put sometimes I start the ball a little bit left of Target I see that on videos in when I’m when I’m been playing this Putter and I reckon it’s probably even starting the putter Maybe slightly straighter it feels like it’s starting more to the right I’ve missed a couple actually short ones cuz my alignment that looks really straight and then when I pull that one miss left it almost feels like maybe that’s kind of gone against my theory there it felt like quite a lot of them were starting almost to the right but that I reckon almost weirdly that might be straight let’s get a low down camera and just see if it go going straight to where I’m aiming it’s like it’s like I’m pushing them it’s definitely starting right you be quite interesting if it came with like loads of different weight options and you could actually kind of change it and go heavier or lighter and kind of almost be able to Tinker with the face it’s almost R of closure I mean this is a pretty straight part I feel like I’m aiming it pretty straight I like the alignment I do like the grip I like the feel off the putter face maybe I aim right and pull it cuz that seemed like it was really straight that part that was nice yeah just a bit different it’s EIC compared to other Putters I’ve reviewed in the past it definitely feels like the putter is doing something different like it’s it’s changing my eyes set I mean like I say it might be coming out straight have to have a look at the uh almost the video footage it does feel great though it feels really really good let me just test one other Theory they reckon that off-centered hits is still as forgiving so what I’m going to do I’m going to do the same length stroke each time but hit different parts of the head and let’s see where the ball finishes the same length stroke so that was in the middle okay same length stroke but I’m this time I’m going to hit the [Music] toe okay probably what I expected this time going to hit the heel really from the heel kind of what I expected this time going to almost hit the bottom of the putter it’s kind of why it’s bets off-centered hits just won’t go quite as far I wouldn’t say using an odyssey or a ping or a in fact I’ve got an odyssey let me just grab an Odyssey Putter and have a quick look okay I’ve actually got this Odyssey AI putter with me today I’m actually going to be reviewing this next AI 1 mil cuz this actually has a similar story it’s supposed to be more for giving off-centered hits so let’s see what’s the case let’s see if there’s any difference between the two Putters same length stroke out the middle got to the hole at least out the tote same result as the Indie out the heel actually did pretty well maybe I hit it not on purpose slightly harder and off the bottom so hard to tell but I can’t really feel a great deal of difference there um the one thing I could feel that Indie putter might have been marginally nice out the middle middle of the putter right it’s it’s good it’s hard to know if it’s if it all the evidence is true um for $479 it’s very very very very very expensive it’s got cash on there for a reason because you need you need lots of cash to I don’t know invest in a putter that’s not as well known I understand people buying a Scotty Cameron just all be the the science might not be quite as substantial as what Indie have done people are buying Scotty camera cuz it’s a piece of jewelry like it’s a it’s a statement piece I don’t know if you’d get that same with an indie putter it’s nice off the middle it feels phenomenal it really does and it’s made me think it’s made me think about potentially giving it a go we’ll see thanks for watching guys stay
