and we’re also joined by uh your young fellow Kai and he’s the smartest young fell I think I’ve met ever our stats man sitting here in the in in the back ra the outdoor uh uh broadcast commentary box here yeah so we just me and you are a longtime fans of the club and members of the club and we know our footy and we were just saying how long’s this game go for how long are the halves and we both said 30 but Kai said n it’s 35 away for a total 70 minutes so all over it if anyone’s got any questions we can refer them back to our our little stats man there but yeah stats man um Rob we we had a little chat to the parameter eels assistant coach before the Game and his name is Steve O day my former rabbito teammate yes yeah he uh telling us a few good stories there uh really been those Glory Days with yourself and giving us a few insights to some of the Paramount players out here today A few of the ones to watch y uh which will you we’ll be can and scene obviously uh you know head of this game Paramount sitting lower down on the ladder compared to to South Sydney y South sitting up there in that that top five uh for Jersey flag on paper you’d have to say you know look for most people he’s fit straight back into the team because this kid is a good player and hopefully we get to see him get plenty of quality ball and stay fit and stay on the field Rob absolutely he he can play he can absolutely play hopefully he can bag himself a m play or two out there today on for us but no great to have him back in back in the side yep so these boys are running fourth on the table with a record of six wins one draw and three losses whereas the eels are sitting I think 14th let me check that 13th 13th with a 2 and8 record so we should win this but like you said you cannot you know you can’t take anything for granted No it should be a good forward battle out there as you mentioned on the pregame show on tenis Tuesday this week moo you know our forwards have been really really good these last few weeks obviously uh an outstanding win last week in the Warriors here with that catchup match here at Kenville overal in the wet the the the forwards just absolutely played a really good power game up that middle third really held their own y um and uh yeah obviously some of those players in the backline there uh such as day and towns you was in in our new southw cup side the other week on the wing uh yeah he’ll he’ll come back in into this side now and bring some of that that experience so uh it should be should be a good game should be a good game now before you read the teams and who did was we were sort of there was players everywhere and we’re a little bit uncited did we see who scored that or I can’t say who scored it to be fair we might have to check the New South Wales rugby league scoreboard but that was Aiden Duan just jumping out of dummy half putting it on the toe and he did a very similar thing last week up the other end of the field and he’s got a lot of skill as young young Duan and the boys pushed up and last week it was Noah Reed who got the try as a result of that but he’s not out there so yeah a good start the the eels could not complete a set and uh you do that inside your own half against a good team and a good team will usually make you pay and that’s exactly what they did there exactly what they did sou were able to get that move it up field settle a play down and good defense because prior to that mistake param had made a couple good hit-ups and the South Sydney defensive line moved up put the hit on for Sierra and S are able to but if can do it that’s just what you got to do to win games you got to hold the ball limit the amount of penalties complete your sets all that stuff and then your quality players will get the the other stuff done and we got a kick here to level the scores here at o waval but they have sort of been down that end more than us been up the other end so the just the weight of field position told in know but we don’t know a lot of the the ills players and the pronouncing of their names and we are bunnies TV so we are a bit bias but we do like I said try and give both teams a fair amount of coverage especially if the other teams playing well we will give them the credit they deserve but let’s hope now the our boys go down and score another try haven’t said that having said that so s take get all those back then there’s no reason to say we can’t start a charge and you know start winning a few more games exactly right realistically now though we just don’t want to get the wooden been no and at the moment we’re looking a good chance to get it if we don’t start winning some footy games because the Titans won and there there a win in front of us and I’ve got a better points differential
