Welcome to our traditional “warts’ n’ all” coverage of Karl’s rounds, from the good, to the bad and even to the ugly. We go deep into the coverage of shot preparation and observe Karl actively figuring out how to save a shot when needed, turn a double into just a bogey, or a Bogey into a Par.

This tournament is called “The Prestige” and is one of the year’s long-standing NCAA Pac-12 tournaments, dating back 24 years.

The course for this tournament was the Greg Norman Course at PGA West, located in the Californian desert 2 hours east of Los Angeles.

Conditions this year were absolutely ideal for golf, and with Karl having notched a 5th Place finish here previously and needing to climb the PGA Tour University rankings to secure a Tour Card in May, Karl was prepped and ready for a big week, and returned a T2 finish.

Karl’s scores: 70 (this round), 66 & 66
Result: Tied 2nd

However, the NCAA is not (officially) using the Golfstat scoring system anymore, so we have no link to the scores for you to look up.

  1. Always a pleasure to watch Karl's progression. Thank you for taking the time to film and share.

  2. Paul, thank you for your content of Karl. It really got me into golf when I was 15, I’m 23 now and a PGA Head Professional in Rhode Island. I’ve followed Karl all along and will continue to.

  3. Well played Karl and thanks Paul for filming. If only some of those close putts had dropped.
