complaint that Billy Napier on Signing Day relayed that Jaden would get a million dollars if he signed the national letter of intent now I have not seen anything that would indicate there is proof that npure made that promise the way I read the complaint is that it’s a he said he said Is there proof that Billy npure promised a million or are they simply saying he told us on the phone Jaden will get a million dollar and then Jaden did get it I mean it’s hard to sit here and imagine J rash would turn down a $9 million deal with Miami and flip to Florida for anything less so he obviously was promised something but you got to have proof right and that’s that’s a tricky thing this is an enormous distraction for Bill a pier because because we’ve seen how these things play out we’ve seen cases be settled not because one side felt like they were guilty you just don’t want it to draw out you don’t want the the implications of a drawn out trial and do you really want B A naer under oath so if you Bill at nap’s Camp you probably want to avoid Bill and AP having to be under oath answering questions so you probably need to go ahead and and settle make this thing go away and chalk it up as a l yeah maybe so uh the idea of a head coach at one sec School paying out in a lawsuit to a player at another school is so weird so if or you can be on or you can be on oath and answer audience tough questions about what what did you really say did you did you really promise Jaden rashada this amount or what else have you been doing like I don’t think you want your head coach under oath answering questions here here’s what I also I don’t know at this point what does it matter to Billy Napier like what what what are they going to show that he’s done because currently the inable a can’t pursue anything nil related right well you don’t you don’t want unless buy out to give avoid it well sure cuzz you you you ain’t going to make it in Florida that would that would be part of the followup but I don’t know this I’m asking are his buyout terms related to what could cause him to lose his buyout is it related to Inca violations because I’m wondering right now is anything they’re accusing him of an NCAA violation do you have to fire do you have to point to a NCAA violation to fire a coach for calls I don’t think you do yeah I I don’t think you do Josh well what would you point to then Jeremy puit got they Tennesse got out of Jeremy puits byout because of inci violations not anything else is he the only coach that’s been fired for calls I don’t I don’t think German per has that second win when there’s a rival School botching a nil deal it’s been botched I think that’s fair to say yeah I got second win man like the best case scenario at this point for Florida is the the Florida Collective and they’ve had two Gator collectives involved here but anyway for let’s just say Florida as a blanket description is that they paid $150,000 for a player who never came to the school and ended up suing them for more money while he plays for the Rival Georgia in the SEC you need to you need to emphasize and like I don’t think you’re doing this St Justice you have to emphasize an Well here here’s the story if we backtrack the story is that a high-profile quarterback in the 2023 class committed to Miami agreed to some kind of nil deal Ruiz is denying 9.5 million but it was a big number obviously he received $150,000 that has been admitted by both parties paid back the $150,000 through Florida after flipping his commitment to the gator signed a national letter of intent from Florida did not receive any more than the money that they paid to cover his debt to the Miami booster then he got out of his National letter of intent signed with Arizona State where he played one season of football transferred to Georgia and then at the blessing of head coach Kirby Smart and you got to emphasize and Josh Ward and at the end of the story he ends up suing Florida’s head coach for staff member one of its top boosters and his business while they get ready for a season in which you can find their season win total as low as four and a half so that’s quite a time during the break I was thinking like man you know that stings for a bill na here man I kind of feel bad for him and then I thought how during his time at Louisiana several teams reached out about his interest in their he coaching vacancy only for him to say no he’s going to be firsttime big- time coach his first time gig there with Louisiana was successful he was being really careful and want to make sure that he picked the right school that had everything in place the infrastructure for him to be successful if he were going to leave Louisiana because he was happy there he was winning um he was in no rush obviously the one school that he was waiting on is the same reason why he didn’t take some of the other jobs at other schools yeah he didn’t want to take the Tennessee job because he thought it was a crap show which I will neither confirm or deny this the uh truth of that but he said no thank you Tennessee but he went to Florida and there’s not a bigger crap show in the SEC right now than Florida yeah it’s a mess there right now it’s it it’s a mess and somehow some way they’re still getting recruits they’re getting players from the portal they’re getting recruits I did they not learn anything from Jaden mashat or maybe they getting straight cash I don’t know but they’re still getting players for some reason but he turned out a lot of schools because he wanted stability he wanted everything to be in place and it’s not in place in Florida for him so over the last several months last few years at this point if you have been of the mind you know what this this niil stuff it’s messy I I don’t know I I’m a little overall this this is the story The Jaden Rashad story that you’re going to point to say this is too much now this is also an extreme case we’re not seeing lawsuits all over the place although maybe maybe we’ll see more but the Jaden Rashad story I don’t I don’t know who looks good in this story I don’t well I know who looks worse it’s the Florida Collective yeah I think that’s right like Jaden rash doesn’t look bad to me he’s he he’s a young man that is one of the best quarterbacks in the country coming out and he liked a couple schools committed to one the other school that he liked was willing to pay him allegedly $4 million more most of us are flipping okay it’s time to sign and you were promised some money on the front end which hey he’s from California he could have could have done that at that time because of state law and Florida was Hing and Hauling and didn’t follow through I would be upset too 100% he goes Arizona State because here’s the thing that stinks for for rashada again not sitting here saying I feel sorry for him but he had to go to Arizona State he could have went somewhere else he could have went to Georgia at the beginning he could have went to another big time program and gotten paid that type of money then but he had to go to Arizona State and I always thought about when he decided to transfer from Arizona State and how their head coach Kenny dingham what he publicly said like he thanked rashada and was very complimentary of him and has some good things to say about rashada because he understands he knows that he had no business getting Jon Rashad in the first place well the tie in to Arizona State though was that Rashad’s father played at Arizona State I repeat he had no business being at Arizon state in the first place that that’s true but rashada he also had an agreement he he was getting that money from Miami but he backed out on his agreement he’d already been paid by by Miami so yeah he could have been getting that money from a big time school he had gotten it from Miami and then he backed out on his agreement Florida covered the debt he got $150,000 before he stepped on campus he was getting more money if he actually went to Miami yeah but so you’re saying he could have gotten that money yeah he was getting it from Miami and rashada went against his agreement so he’s saying that Florida did not back up its end of the deal maybe it didn’t and if the courts decide Florida owes money fine but that’s because rashada began the process by going against his word after having already been paid by Miami and needing Florida yeah yeah to cover the debt yeah Florida allegedly offered $4 million more and $4 million is $4 million now he the way you explain it yeah first person went uh against against his word and why didn’t he have to pay like half if he sticks with his commitment to Miami which had already paid him and he goes to play for the Hurricanes then he does miss out on the money that he could have gotten no I understand that 100% that’s why I think he’s in the group of people that don’t look good in this story if the court Society he’s owed money by Florida people then pay him his money but that doesn’t mean he looks good no one looks good but there’s there’s there’s people who look worse and I think the collective at Florida looks worse than anybody uh rash has you know his his wrongdoing but it’s funny to me like he had to pay 150 th000 back rather than having to pay $100,000 back or $75,000 back or 50 like he blew it all it seems like it it would seem um he wasn’t the one paying it back that’s confirmed by both Miami and rash in the complaint that that also leads to the settlement today in the big picture conversation because the settlement has been expected we’ll see if the terms are still in there but it’s been expected to show incentive for schools to bring the collectives inhouse if Rashad assigns with the University of Miami then I would imagine we avoid all this right but he’s signing with the collective which can’t in the contract terms show that this is actually paying him to go play football at Miami because he’s still a high school Prospect he’s eligible to receive nil payment but it can’t be an inducement to go to the school even though anybody with a working brain knows that it’s an inducement to go to Miami so if he can just sign with the school and he’s bound to the terms that he signs with the school we can avoid these Messes in the future at least as many of them I I wish he would have went to my we have to deal with him at Georgia with all that Talent around him I he’s goingon to be like Tim TBO although at Georgia all of this did produce content middle of May man last couple of years I do wonder if the overall numbers we’ll see if we can get Bill on soon if if the overall numbers are affected by Tennessee special teams rank because well offense defense it does come out in the middle he has Tennessee’s offense going into the season ranked number 14 Tennessee’s defense ranked number 19 special teams number 52 they have to replace uh kicker D Williams in the punt return game so not sure exactly how that factors in it’s a third of the game I I doubt that it’s 33% % of the numbers but it is a lot of sec in the top 16 so Tennessee is number 16 Texas is number four Alabama is number five Miss is number eight LSU is number nine Missouri is number 11 Texas A&M is number 13 Oklahoma is number 15 Tennessee is number 16 so SP plus has nine of the top 16 teams from the SEC it’s just preseason swing it’s just preseason it’s just preseason now NC State which yesterday we talked about as it was two spots ahead of Tennessee and Mark slay Ball’s top 25 at number 13 is at number 29 in the SP plus Oklahoma’s in front of Tennessee Oklahoma is one spot ahead of Tennessee at number 15 okah is number 15 Tennessee number 16 in the SP plus rankings special teams was good for Tennessee last year I mean D Williams was was a weapon no doubt about it bu Carter could be he’s a freshman so he is a newcomer to the team but he has electric playmaking ability if he is in the return spot for him to come in and not have any drop off in the punp return game would [Music] be really hard to expect right I do think bu car is special I do think that in his next three to four years he has opportunity to be better than D Williams but I’m not expecting him to be on par with D Williams and in year number one if he is then that would just be icing on the cake cherry on uh cherry on top but I just I I’m not expecting that hopefully he is the starter because there’s a lot that goes into being a pump returner like how many times has this team during spring have had a live PP return session I can promise you zero you’re not hitting buo boo buo Carter like you’re not hitting them um you may try to make it as real as possible but I doubt it was 100% live um so it’s going to take some time for him to you know get used to everything adjust to uh college punters and how they kick the football and his comfort level but once he gets comfortable watch out watch out so SEC schools that Tennessee has maybe been compared to miss number eight LSU number nine Missouri number 11 the vs won’t play any of those teams a team that might surprise you with where it’s ranked Texas A&M at number 13 Tennessee also won’t play the aies this season but Texas A&M is number 13 according to SP plus so that’s probably the highest I’ve seen it’s so disrespectful who I am no Texas Texas ANM being ranked in front of Tennessee with everything thing that’s happened oh I see like they had a lot of talent leave yeah they got a brand new coach yep we’ve had stability and we ranked still behind Texas A&M like it’s disrespectful whether it’s right or wrong it’s still disrespectful if you’re Tennessee like what look at all that stuff that happened over there new starting quarterback but they still have a lot of talent they recruited a lot of talent um according to Jal fiser all that Talent got there nothing to do with nil not nil related not related at all just like with Jaden Rashad’s College decisions just they just they were just really impressed by uh the 12 man and and all the things that go on the guys the cheerleaders or whatever they call anyways they didn’t take any money okay so there’s a lot of talent there and I guess they Factor in but it’s just really weird to me that Texas A&M is getting you know this amount of preseason love right now A&M is going to be one of the more interesting teams to watch at the start of the season week one Texas A&M will host Notre Dame which is a popular team this offseason uh Notre Dame comes in at number 10 in the SP plus rankings Texas A&M’s first six games on the schedule Notre Dame at home mcne state at Florida Bowling Green green Arkansas in Arlington and then hosting Missouri which is a popular team to talk about this offseason yeah Missouri’s been getting a lot of love rightfully so because of their season last year they got a lot of talent coming back and then you look at their schedule the schedule is very favorable um A&M that could be a tossup game for for Missouri but Missouri should win 10 games this upcoming season um but if they if they slip up and don’t achieve that then that means Texas A&M is better than what we thought they were yeah Missouri gets two weeks to prepare for the Texas A&M game it is at A&M but A&M will play that game at the end of six straight weeks of football Missouri will have an off week the week before playing that game A&M also plays at Mississippi State after a byee LSU at home South Carolina on the road that doesn’t make it easy Auburn is on the road the week before the return of the Texas game that’s a that’s a sneaky really tough schedule for A&M so living up to number 13 in the country by SP Plus numbers I think is going to be very difficult yeah 100% I mean how do you flip the culture upside down in one year now hypo had a pretty successful first year and kind of flipped it in one year but can ANM do it with a more difficult schedule and a brand new quarterback who does not have the experience that a hend the hooker have for for Tennessee so it’ll be fun to see see it play out I’m glad the Texas A&M Texas game is back though yep Texas A&M will play four teams ranked in the top 11 so four teams ranked ahead of it in the SP plus rankings Tennessee by comparison will play two teams I’m sorry three Oklahoma’s at number offensive line defensive line for Tennessee it ain’t there it has to be secondary or maybe linebackers I mean receiver the group is full of talent I understand what they did last year but you got dudes who are healthy coming back and you have options if one doesn’t work out or one decides he don’t want to catch the ball or one is not playing the way he needs to play you replace him with somebody else who should be more than capable where is Tennessee falling short in Bill Conley’s eyes for them not to be highed well to get him on the show and find out he’ll come on cuz when you have the trenches like Tennessee has right now you typically get the nod and I understand Tennessee is rolling out a first-time starter but y’all see Nico y’ y’all saw what he did you think he’s gonna do less of that or more of that I think he’s gonna do more of that it may be different but he’s going to do more of that more of playmaking more balling that’s what Nico is going to do so I’m expecting it didn’t take long for us to see a a player sue a coach Jaden Rashad is suing Billy Napier don’t be surprised if it happens sooner than later yeah don’t be surprised by anything I I guess two things that I would offer as caution one we might be entering a new era that will tie players to schools through contractual obligation so that would affect things yeah more than now yeah also if a player wins a Heisman at a school realistically it’s at a big school and that school will do what it takes to keep that player in most instances like that should even be up [Music] for debate or shouldn’t even be a thing that could happen if a player wins the hman at school if that player is thinking about leaving and go to another school that’s that would be that would just be weird very yeah and and that would assume that that school had not taken care of that player to where he’s looking around like I I just don’t see that happening but this is College athletics but yeah would we completely R plus rankings have Tennessee number 16 in the country that’s ninth best best in the SEC nine of the top 16 from within the conference we noted Texas A&M is number 13 Oklahoma is number 15 so three in one spot ahead of Tennessee you said a little disrespect to Tennessee but the SP plus odds give Tennessee a better chance of going 10 and two than Texas A&M or Oklahoma that would come back to schedule A&M we talked about that schedule’s pretty tough coming into the league Oklahoma schedule’s brutal Oklahoma arguably has the worst or the toughest schedule in the SEC I think Arkansas is in that conversation too so odds to to go 10- two or better about 1 and four 23.4% chance for Tennessee to go 10-2 or better well why the heck are we rank behind the teams that we got better chance of of going to the playoffs well because SP plus rankings are simply what the teams are not what their records will be you know what I’m cool with being where we are because it it makes our climb to the top that much sweeter more triumphant yes look at that look at that o Oklahoma they were right ahead of us and we went to their house beat them and finish the season better than them yeah makes it sound better I’m cool with that you know what rank us 25th wish they would yeah rank us rank us un rank us then whatever let’s go uh Kentucky number 25 I mentioned that last segment but the wild cats nine spots behind Tennessee Florida number 33 Bill Conley’s numbers do not back up Florida as a team to watch out for this year Bill Conley’s watch out now Team of the Year not the Florida Gators not the Florida Gators so kuy’s 25th and you know we could be 24 because you know we ain’t been really behind Kentucky and pretty much I have Tennessee on my list of teams to watch out now for my watch out now Team of the Year I would agree I would agree I’m sorry man I can’t I can’t get over the fact that Tennessee is ranked where they are because quick quick timeout pause I like bothered Swain I enjoy jovial Swain I like competitive Swain and I appreciate beyond measure Petty Swain but bothered SW is is really underrated as you were hear me out here okay think about the talent and the experience on the offense defensive line think about what league we play in SEC if you play running back if you play tight end if you play receiver if you play linebacker in secondary you have to be asking yourself are they talking about us they must be talk about us they must doubt us because they can’t be the defensive line it can’t be the offensive line they must be doubting us they must think that okay Jaylen Wright’s gone and Jabar small gone the drop off is too big they might think that we are pulling the team down or if you’re a wide receiver you feel them the same way secondary it’s brand new secondary they they are doubting us we’re ranked 15th and we have arguably the best defensive line in in the in the league coming back when has that happened when you’ve had one of the top defensive line units in the SEC and you are picked as a middle of the road team we just don’t see that a lot yeah if you go by our guest from yesterday Jesse Simon’s defensive line rankings he only had Georg Miss ahead of Tennessee in the defensive line rankings but this overall ranking has Tennessee ninth in the SEC so that’s what I’m saying man you you look it around if you play any other position besides offense defense line saying they’re doubting us we can’t be the reason why we don’t get to the playoff like our group has to be up there with the defensive line offensive line you you would agree with this top three positions of importance no order here just the the top three quarterback offensive line defensive line right are you going to rank Tennessee higher than nth in the SEC at quarterback offensive line and defensive line you’d probably rank them higher than ninth and all three categories right mhm well then I think you have your have a point to your bothered status that’s what I’m saying man I would I would I would feel disrespected and if I’m Kelsey Pope I’m saying y’all receivers they doubting us and the league is intriguing at quarterback by the way with the new homecoming opponent Mississippi State you didn’t have to you didn’t have to add that in there you you be this respectful Josh vanderbelt was so so low in the SP plus rankings that it almost logged me out of the rankings page Mississippi State comes in at number 68 and I get blamed for being petty Arkansas’s number 46 Swain I’m trying to be descriptive here you didn’t have to mention the fact that they are a homecoming opponent you didn’t have to throw that in there you’re not slick Josh I get the blame of being petty and talking trash well you just you just did it I apologize for that uh teams that Mississippi State compares to in the rankings not bad uh BYU is number 67 one spot ahead of Mississippi State one spot behind Mississippi State the Colorado buffalos at number 69 I think about them nice ranking there for Dion’s team yep oh yeah teams ranked ahead of Mississippi State include Georgia Tech Miami Ohio Western Kentucky and Fresno State you mentioned about the quarterbacks there was a time like we had like Tryon Harris and another like this is probably the best time we’ve seen a lot of teams with anwers at quarterbacks like you’ve had your two or three your Bryce young here and there think you’re really really good ones you hman trophy contenders but like yeah you got a large amount of teams that have good quarterback situations yeah like there’s a scenario where we’re saying either Jackson Arnold super highly tied quarterback or Graham Mur who’s at least been productive or even a Conor Wegman who’s coming back who was highly touted is the 10th best quarterback in situation uh I think we’ve got two really good returning starters would love to hear a little bit of insight on what you guys think we have as far as backups or uh potential starters going into the season this year and uh I’ll hang up listen to you guys and again we love you here in Atlanta that’s awesome appreciate it Todd Todd down there in Atlanta tuning in calling into to Josh and Swain we had Keenan peely on the show recently he returns after starting the opener last season against Virginia then missed the rest of the season because of the tricep injury he is a veteran that will lead the group SW Elijah Herring transferred to Memphis so a lot of attention will be on Rising sophomores Arion Carter who has big time potential Jeremiah Tander who I think is also shown a lot of his potential Caleb Perry’s played a fair amount he’s a third-year player at linebacker and then we’ll see beyond that who fits in Jaylen Smith is a second-year guy spilman is a player they’re very excited about as a freshman who’s come in but peely will lead that group of linebackers there were times during the game last year when Tennessee was on defense um and I’m watching you know as a salon reporter and I’m picking up on little things it it would be third down in the Red Zone on defense and I would see who I love uh Aaron Beasley come out and I would see Tander go in I would see Arion Carter go in and that would get my attention because usually on third down that’s a money down and then you add that to to the fact that in the Red Zone where you really have to be good like that’s that’s money money down in the money area for this defense to trust Jeremiah Tander and AR Young Carter as freshman tells you a lot about what they believe they can be here at Tennessee Tander is more athletic than you think he is he is very very intelligent uh son of of a coach and then we know Aron Carter and his athleticism uh his season was shortened because of injury so feeling really good about the group at linebacker but injuries are concerned because two out of those three I named missed the entire season last year so if they can stay healthy I think they’ll be okay but you got to 10-year funding plan with the insta national office covering 41% of the $2.8 billion and schools paying 59% in distribution reduction so a plan moving forward which will also include the next steps in a surprise was going back and looking at the quarterbacks in 2014 we had the conversation about the quarterbacks this year in the SEC and it seems like you have more teams with a with a good quarterback situation well when we went back and looked at 2014 quarterbacks uh the leading passers that year you had Dylan Thompson South Carolina I remember him because that’s that’s the guy that uh dere Barnett kind of slung around um Blake Sims Alabama Dak Prescott Mississippi State we know what he’s doing now Bo Wallace Mississippi Patrick toes Kentucky Kenny Hill remember Kenny Hill Hill yeah happiest M Perkins a projected top 20 pick in next year’s NFL Draft I’m not the happiest I mean take kimy pey how happy he was talk about Tennessee’s defensive line take a linebacker from LSU and imagine the opposite of Kenny pey CU without a really good defensive line those linebackers man it’s hard for them to make plays in space face without offensive lineman being able to climb up to the second level and put hands on them like no Tyler Baron update LSU was reportedly in the mix I just I just chalked him up to going to Michigan man because Wesley Walker is headed there that mean they’ve played together three different spots I’ll be surprised if he go to Michigan and if he doesn’t go to Michigan I don’t see why he’s not at l cuz LSU letting you know man they desperate and they got some money they just don’t have 1.2 million is what the other guy was wanting but they got they got high six figures you can go get that so I I would tell Wesley Walker hey bro I’ll see you defend reunion we play together three teams I need to go get my money I I see you at the draft you you can come to the house doing a draft party you can sit next to me on the couch but I’m about to get this money and I’m about to go play without you or he could play with them I don’t know yeah I mean they can’t play together forever I don’t think I don’t think rules are going to change where you get unlimited eligibility in college but um could be wrong you never know or Tyler Baron can be like Giannis in the NBA and say hey wherever I go I my brother with playing with me and the buck said okay because that’s what’s going on there in Milwaukee y has his brother playing with him even though he does not need to be in the NBA and if they treat him like a walk- on when he’s in the game you know that that’s kind of under the radar a lot in the conversation like how much LeBron bronny talk is there right now what’s the difference there’s no there’s no difference I don’t know if I said this to you before I think I did but have anyone noticed when the Bucks play games and they were up by a lot of points or down by a lot of points and giannis’s brother went in it reminded me of Walk-Ons playing at the end of games in college basketball when the whole bench would get up and cheer when that player made a shot you shouldn’t be doing that at the pro level you shouldn’t be acting like that but that’s how they act with Yiannis his brother yeah thanes he’s 31 years old and spent the last five years with the Milwaukee Bucks he is a he’s an end thebench player who supports his teammate supports his brother he’s the best teammate uro his teammates love him yeah his teammates love him so there actually probably is value of him to the organization but if not for Giannis I’m skeptical of the role that he has in the in the and if I was jiannis I would do the same exact thing now if I’m LeBron I wouldn’t do that I wouldn’t I wouldn’t have operated the way LeBron has operated when it came to bronnie I would have handled it a little bit differently I think what he’s done previously he would as well he’s he’s pulled back on the reign of what he has previously said it’s too late man LeBron’s net worth is valued at a billion plus but that’s not brony’s money bronny I’m sure wants to make his own money he can make a lot of money as a college basketball player continue to develop like we’ve had this conversation if you’re a college athlete and you’re considering Pros versus College if you’re not a high-end Pro and you’re very valuable in college you can make more money in college so I don’t I don’t get that one well maybe I mean it would be hard for me if I’m bronnie to leave College knowing that I didn’t really do much in college like you can’t be you can’t say well I’m ready to go to the next level well well H how like Jaden Springer was at times dominant as a freshman and he had to go through the g-league ranks bronnie averaged like what five points per game if that was a a starter I just I understand you can develop in the G League I get it you don’t have to develop in college like people say oh you got to come back well you don’t have to but I look at him versus some of the other guys that had more production in college still have to go through the G g-league route to get to the NBA and he’s skipping it because of his last name I would it’s just weird and and LeBron has admitted that he shouldn’t have named his son LeBron Jr yeah he goes by bronny partly because of that yeah and then he puts all this other pressure on him after those those comments and that admission so he he’s in a tough spot man I I I wouldn’t have operated that way if I was LeBron but hey man it’s a really cool position to be in you are arguably the best basketball player ever uh have all these records and you have opportunity to play with your son like who’s doing that nobody’s doing that’s the other thing is nobody doing that it’s so rare we have not seen many instances where a father has a chance to play with his son that’s awesome on a professional team like it still gets talked about how cool it was that King griffy senior and Junior together now Junior King Griffey Jr and bronnie were two different level Prospect King King griffy junor was was he was the next big thing bronnie is not that I I don’t know how to judge his freshman season because he came off the cardiac arrest if that doesn’t happen he plays more and I’m sure puts up bigger numbers perfect world is he doesn’t play this past season we still would have saw a flashes no I get it I just like that’s that’s not a an ankle turn I I understand Cardiac Arrest I I understand but like when he when he played 19 minutes a game in those 19 minutes we would have saw flashes so the cardiac arrest I think it’s a difference between playing 19 and maybe playing 30 or maybe playing 26 but I think in those 19 minutes that we did see him we would have said oh oh yeah that’s that’s that’s that oh I see it yeah I’m not saying he should be a first- round pick I’m just saying like referencing his points per game I I understand I get I get that point yep um but it’s a big story it’s getting plenty of coverage and it shouldn’t it shouldn’t be getting coverage that’s the way it works I understand people can’t even name the first round prospects no I mean we we can we we know Dalton and we we know guys in the top 10 but nobody’s ever seen the guy that’s going to go Number One S I know Dalton yeah we know the Kentucky guys Reed Shepard and dilling ham I’m exagger exaggerating when I say nobody knows the first round guys but it’s not the same as other years people know more about bronny than they do the guys that are going to go in the first round they’re going to talk about him SEC Player of the Year we’re talking about Christian Moore he made a great case for player of the year I think in most years he’s probably a winner mentioned the numbers that Charlie Condon put up at Georgia and several texted in saying hey it’s SEC player of the year they’re not supposed to account for his entire season just conference play I don’t think that’s correct my my understanding is that it’s the entire season and for the entire season Conan led the nation with a 451 batting average and a Georgia record 35 home runs this season which led the nation so uh that’s the mo that’s the second most in SEC single season history so that combined with his 24 game hitting streak entering the tournament I just I think this one was pretty easy for them to vote on I just that’s nothing against Christian Moore he was fabulous in his team is having the better season but my understanding it’s the entire season and his entire season stats kind of lap everybody I just feel better because take on Tennessee tomorrow in the third game of the day you said we should want Vanderbilt as an opponent versus versus Florida that’s a that’s a guess uh I would look at it that way with Vanderbilt’s offense I don’t think should scare Tennessee with its pitching being there’s something it’s something they’re figuring out not ideal yeah so knowing what Tennessee’s offense is capable of and
