Harbor Shor is playing host to the Senior PGA Championship for the final time in Benton Harbor round one underway a great crowd for a Thursday afternoon par 3113 Mike Weir drops a dart on the green a few feet away from the pin he’d sink the birdie Putt and finish today five under 66 tied for fourth defending champ SE Striker on 15 an incredible approach shot nearly hits the pin he T tapped that one in for birdie one of his seven on the round he’s also five on Stuart sink playing a longside striker going toe to- toe all day 18th hole sinks to par putt he had two Eagles on the day finishing four under Richard green is your leader at seven under through 18 holes it’s a good start and we’ve got a long ways to go um you know but it was important to get off to a good start um I’m surprised that the scores are that low played pretty well overall I I gave away a couple shots by just putting it out of position and nothing the course surprised me about I just I knew that you didn’t want to be in these positions and I hit there anyway
