man with the Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves as Luca donic and Kyrie Irving put on a show in a clinic on the road and you have to wonder wow maybe this is it maybe this is Luca’s time right now 108 105 was the final score and of course we have the Dallas Stars getting ready for the Emon Oilers and we have a hardcore Dallas Cowboy fat in the house in George Curson not to mock the Cowboys curs but a lot of success going on in the Big D right now the Texas Rangers won the World Series the Dallas Stars are in the Conference Finals and the Dallas Mavericks are in the conference Dallas Wings cover spreads all the teams but Dallas wings are pretty good in the WNBA well I’m hearing this they you know they flash it on the screen Mavericks oh finals uh Stars finals Rangers win the World Series last year all the Metroplex teams are you know in the finals except for the Cowboys who have now TCU came even TCU beat Michigan went to the playoffs a couple years ago what I love about you don’t you don’t bug me about my loser teams we bring on they are but no exactly um all right CTS stars and uh Oilers who do you like to win the series who do you like in game one um I’m stars all over the place like I like the stars in the series I’m taking them in six uh they’re just a better team they what am I ask I pick the stars of panthers to win to go to the cup before the playoff start many times on this show not going away from it now minus 128 it’s great price I’m surprised it’s not higher I actually thought it would be higher here as for the uh I’m on Dallas handle I think the ainger versus Skinner thing has people a little bit weary but let’s not underestimate Conor McDavid Leon ddle and Evander Kane and Bard they’re freaking skilled Curts Bard’s get the players and yes maybe the top three players in the series are all on the Oilers you can very well make that argument there but the problem is the next 10 players are probably all you know Dallas Stars they’re a deeper team and the ET Jer SK Skinner thing is huge I mean how do the O beat the Canucks when your goalie had a less than 900 save percentage that’s just that’s unheard of that doesn’t happen here but uh you you can get away with that because the Vancouver Canucks had like 10 shots on night go a goal on night they never shot Everton blocked a lot of shots Everton blocked a lot of shots gotta give them some credit and Vancouver that’s the one thing though this is the one thing that people are underestimating about Edmonton a little bit and I’ve seen this team live a couple of face some really good chances and some uh quality looks he was there to make the saves so great start for the Florida Panthers uh 19 straight games had between the Panthers and Rangers had gone over five and a half goals until tonight so that streak came to an end but uh give credit to Florida and I thought for the Rangers this was I don’t want to say this was a listless performance but man if they hope to win this series they got to elevate their game a few notches from what we saw here tonight they’re in a lot of trouble right now the Rangers moving forward they’re too dependent on special teams and five on five is a problem for them their dep is an issue against the Panthers when barbros is on he’s just he’s as good as it gets and we know we saw that uh tonight he was protected tonight they played a perfect game uh this evening but you talked about the over Bano I bet the under this game tonight believing that it sort of would be kind of the way that it played out hard- hitting tight checking both team trying to set the tone but as far as tomorrow’s game is concerned I’m not feeling it in the same way I actually think Dallas and Edmonton are going to get after it man like I’m going to be betting over one and a half in the first period of this game uh tomorrow night Edmonton could score they’re going to have a little bit of defensive lapses every now and then but they do a great job of blocking shots they’re doing a better job defensively in the playoffs they know they have to to protect their goalie as well but I’m seeing an even six right now Oilers and stars minus 110 over under six on both sides stars are minus 130 but I’m definitely going to play the over one and a half for the first period but do you agree with my assessment that this game tomorrow is going to be much more free flowing than the Eastern Conference games are I think it will be uh but then again I said that about Panthers Rangers and it was not so much that you know I think the Oilers and stars I think does set up to be high-scoring but it’s more so game ones in the playoffs until tonight you know game one here in the Stanley Cup Playoffs first round and the second round have gone over you know for the most part until tonight tonight we saw obviously a low scoring game the go ending was good third round is different buto third round is let me say something about the third round too which is pretty important to bring up especially for the Rangers and this could be a negative for the Edmonton Oilers as well that teams that rely on the power play so much the later you go in the playoffs the less they call and and they once you get into the third round you get into the fourth round they don’t call as much Bano just point blank you get by the time you get the Standley Cup finals bro you can get away with anything they don’t call penalties and even in the semifinals right now they’re going to keep the whistle in the pocket and if you rely on the power play you’re not going to get bailed out with five or seven power plays like you’ll do in the first round I think the reason for that too is because we’ve got the best officials still left standing here at this stage of the playoffs you know more disciplined teams yes best referees disciplined teams best teams right I mean you look at the defenseman back there and stuff a lot of smart players on the ice now well yeah you got teams that won’t take as many penalties and now you got quality refs the best in the NHL that won’t call as many penalties because they don’t want to decide the game they want to let the game Flow they want to let the game breathe let the players decide it you put that combination well now if Toronto could just figure it out at the review center about what a goal is with goalie interference which is not the referee’s fault cuz the referee doesn’t make the decision it’s it’s they go to the review and Toronto there the review Booth makes a decision I think you point tonight Gabe the thing is a defenseman is crosschecking a player into the goalie Who’s making no effort to get into position to save the puck that’s the bottom line we’ve all played the game and that is a goal in my opinion that was an interference but it didn’t they ended up winning the game anyways and they goes the show actually guys you should have been four nothing it was even more dominant yep you’re right you’re right and I’ll tell you one thing if you’re the Oilers though in this series Dallas has jumped on every team in every series in the first period at early see what they big big problems Edmonton needs to score first to have a chance so the over under in the first period is one and a half minus 125 it’s not bad as far as the juice is concerned uh first period line tomorrow the Edmonton Oilers plus 100 dallar Stars minus 120 on the money line Oilers plus half a goal it is interesting just like this game is basically a pick them despite nobody giving Edmonton a chance the game is basically a pick them and despite almost it’s almost like deja vu all over again when nobody gave Vancouver a chance and it ended up going seven games well Gabe another point is Dallas is look at their road record I don’t think they lost have they lost a road game in the playoffs or One Max all their losses are but you know what edmont have been pretty good on the road too that’s that’s I like off top my head Edmonton’s record but battle they beat LA on the road a bunch of times they beat Vancouver on the road a couple of times they won two to three games on the road against Vancouver yeah I like Edmonton in game one I do uh I think it sets up well I think the fact they have two days off after game seven it’s kind of like running on fumes running on adrenaline just like Boston in game one against Florida in the second round remember they beat Toronto in seven in overtime they r catch up in game two you’re right you’re right off that game seven except NBA is the opposite NBA teams always lose in game sevens the tea wolves were coming off of that and um as a favorite too as as a favorite tonight but it seems like you’re right in hockey the team that wins the yeah the team that wins the game seven in the modern era the last couple of this sort of new sports because everything changes over the years right but you’re right teams seem to roll out of these games seven playing well in hot after and Dallas is 0 and five they have not won a game one under Peter dor believe it or not they’re 0 and five and you said he’s eight and0 in game sevens too so he he sticks to his Trends ban he’s consistent with his Trends he does so I like Edmonton more I do I like Dallas and six in the series because I just think they’re the deeper team up front they’re the deeper team on defense they’ have the better goal tending situation and I think just top to bottom they’re a better team they’ll win the series but I do like Edmonton in game one tomorrow night and the 4th it was 122 to 112 for the Pacers uh the Boston won the first time in the route so they got to 234 one uh 118 101 that was the lowest scoring game they played this year 108 101 they played a lot uh the Pacers beat him 133 131 another time the Celtics beat him 129 124 in January and then they just played again uh last night and it was 133 to 128 all be in overtime but it still went way over the number without overtime was 117 117 to 234 well we went overtime so ban I’m going to bet the total again and I will take the Pacers again plus the points but I was more confident last night plus the points than I am tomorrow I think Boston might play better tomorrow night like just more complete game and the Pacers hang around but Boston like you know 126 to 114 or something like that wouldn’t shock me but I’m gonna I’m going to take the Pacers and hope for the best but I like the over in the game too yeah I I mean I don’t know if every game in this series is going to go over the total but I think there’s a good chance we see more overs part of the reason why I like the over last night is Indiana’s going to push the pace they’re going to try to get their easy fast break transition baskets because they need to before Boston sets up with their halfcourt defense which is pretty good uh and that’s the key uh because they can actually defend the perimeter well and you don’t want to be set up five on five you want to get those easy baskets Indiana did a nice job of that uh but at the same point in time they’re the defense is still a little shaky for the Pacers uh Boston’s probably do for a little bit better in a more insn offensive performance than I think we probably saw last night so I can definitely make a case for the over why I like Indiana Again is because I believe in this team’s tough mentality you know I know it was a brutal loss I know they probably feel like an empty LA game that they should have won that a missed opportunity but they showed some toughness in New York you know where they lost game one it was a tough one they came back in game two they didn’t win but they were in that game start to finish I think they’ll be in this one start to finish and more than anything I just look at this point spread this could be one of those Series where the point spread’s just out of whack from the very beginning that to me Boston right now especially without Chris DS porzingis is just not nine10 points better than Indiana right now on any court because I think this Pacers team is being dramatically undervalued uh disrespected not given enough credit I think for the way they’ve played so this is a Mis this look to me looked like game one was mispriced I think this whole series because they’re basing the power rating on the full season record full season stats you know I think Indiana’s going to be undervalued this whole series so I’m back on them tomor plus the points in game two Gabe you know too the best thing about the Pacers is Boston went on those crazy runs and they always found a way to come back from some alive betting perspective like they never tap out these guys it’s like and Boston goes through these routes you’ve talked about it many times where you let the Pacers back in the game so that’s one of these things from a live betting perspective I think Indiana can be live even if they get down 12 they’re like we’ve been in this situation before we’re just going to grind back and they did many times in the first game and threw it away I I put the bet in today Pacers plus three and a half games in the series so in other words they need to win one game and I parlayed it with the Dallas Mavericks plus two and a half games in the series so getting that win tonight with the Mavs is big I don’t want to Mush it but the Mavs are winning another game in this series so yeah I just need the Pacers I need the Pacers to steal one right I be if they steal it tomorrow but I brought it up too Bano the the Pacers are a very good home team they should be able to nail one you know at least one down and even if they fell behind two games to none it wouldn’t shock me if the Pacers were able to win both games at home because I’m with you I think the Pacers are the real deal I don’t think they’re just going to go away easily with Boston without porzingis too as you stated the Celtics aren’t the same team right um and they’re just track me games I like I you know I use the analogy it’s like two high score in col col football teams going head-to-head against each other you want the underdog right Whoever has the ball last wins and we sort of saw that with the Pacers and Celtics who you whoever sort of gets the ball last wins in the last minute so we saw tonight a super close game as well the NBA uh Conference Finals off to a great start from a viewing and a fan standpoint the Mavericks step up and get it done tonight big players make big plays in big games you need stars to make plays I talked about it with McDavid and dry Sidle just point blank you need to make plays you need to put goals in the net and for the Mavericks to win we can talk about Washington we can talk about Gafford we can talk about Hardaway we can talk about everybody it’s gonna come down to Luca and Kyrie Irving and they both brought it tonight man 33 from Luca 30 from Kyrie Irving and then everybody else just sort of chipped in it was close but they got it done Dallas are a scary dangerous team man cuz Luca donic is that good I’ve been buying in a minut own is hype of battle but the Dallas Mavericks and Mavericks have Maverick players have been in the playoffs before Kyrie’s won championships before yeah I think when you look at this series I like Dallas a lot here in game one because you had Minnesota off game seven against Denver tough turn turn around Dallas with a little rest advant Dallas been a good road team been a good Underdog team and sure enough uh they ended up winning out right here as a road Underdog in game one and you’re right that’s really one of the we haven’t seen this all playoffs from Kyrie and Luca that at the same time in the same game they’ve had the 30 plus Point performances both of them hasn’t always happened usually it’s been Luca going big one night Kyrie going big one night maybe there’s a night both of them are off and PJ Washington steps up and he’s had a great playoffs for Dallas I don’t think he’s getting talked about enough he’s been terrific but I do think if Minnesota’s going to make things you know give themselves the best chance to win this series is almost a got to have it game you know not that they can’t go into Dallas and win because Dallas you know stumbled at home and Minnesota went to Denver and went one game one game two and then game seven you know in the last round so Minnesota’s a good road team but you still don’t want to put yourself in a spot where you’re going to be down two nothing going back to Dallas so I think for me Minnesota in the first half I like I don’t know about the full game but I’ll take Minnesota the better number uh early in the game first half uh on Friday night in game two you can lay think Slovakia Believe It or Not plus two and a half’s worth a look by the way last year they played in the World Championship Canada Slovakia in the preliminary round Canada needed a shootout to beat
