um we are saluting Manchester City of course we are we’ be wrong not to this morning because um they’ve done it again six titles in seven years and the first side to win four in a row so Manchester City Pep and the rest we salute what you’ve done but there’s a butt there’s always a butt isn’t there with those charges hanging over them Ying Klo and we’ll do more in Klo before we go today but ygen klopp as he as he approached his final game and the final game came and went and they beat wolves and now klopp goes but he’s left us with these words klopp says everybody knows that there’s a case of 115 charges I have no clue what that means but this is really important whatever happened at City Pep is the best manager in the world put any other manager in the world at that club they do not win the league four times in a row he says and then klopp says this does that mean they can do what they want of course not but I do not know what they did or if they did anything and I’m not here to say anything I would like to know one day but I’ll be somewhere else what do you make of that well can I be honest he knows precisely what they’ve done because he can read the same way everyone else has can they’ve been accused of misrepresenting commercial sponsorship um sorry Equity as commercial sponsorship inflating deals to be able to meet the holes in their finances to be able to comply Financial fair play knows full well what they’ve done the the issue is does he believe that they’re guilty or not believe that they’re guilty and he can’t answer that question because he doesn’t want to find himself in a cleft position they’ve been found guilty by UEFA they then went to court of arbitration and sports the case turns on a variety of things one of them was about time borrowing about evidence that couldn’t be submitted another was about the complicitness of people being able to tell things to the court of arbitration sport that they couldn’t possibly want to lie about um and subsequently the court of arbitration sport saying these people very influential positions would have to be part of a conspiracy theory well that’s how conspiracy theories work that’s why Enron no longer exists and businesses like that because of conspiracy theories that’s why we’ve had the situations inside the post office so this idea that conspiracy theories can’t exist and people would tell untruths in hearings is preposterous but right now under the Premier League rules the the the the Man City situation is they aren’t guilty but KS is kind of riddle me this riddle me that I I I don’t understand what he’s trying to say I I don’t necessarily agree with him I think well he’s been asked to say something isn’t he I I think he shows um a great deal of professional respect to pep but he wants he want but he wants the outcome of these charges to be heard because he he feels that you know look if this is financial doping that we’re talking about and then what does that AC what do you acquire with that extra Finance what are the players you know was it was it a de bruyne was it an Aguero was it Aguero probably at the club at the early point or was it or was it was it they spent too much money on other players that they might not have spent so much money on you know I think you have to hold your hand and say what they done with each season that Manchester City lift a premier league title the elephant in the room gets bigger if you get the imagery of it if you know what I mean I do they want to clear their name but it’s also interesting we make a lot first of all I think it’s absolutely absurd that the Premier League have laid 115 charges at the door if they wanted this to stick right they should have focused on 10 big charges and gone after them for that right there’s 115 charges most of them are duplicated by the very nature of repeating the same financial information over a period of years so if you’ve misrepresented in 2013 and you continue to carry that forward on your balance sheet in 2014 you’ll be charged again for the same offense so when you look at those 115 charges some of them are really innocuous some of them are really irrelevant and there’s probably about five to 10 charges on there that have any relevance so the 115 looks like a great big stick they’re that bad they’ve been charged 115 times it’s not that that’s not what it is but does Richard masters of the Premier League help the situation in any way when he says all we have said is that a date has been set for the hearing we haven’t said when that is a rule boot requires these commissions to be held in private and everything to be confidential well that’s great you’re keeping it to yourself and you won’t tell us anythings the time scale but why is that why would he do that because who sets the rules for the clubs to adhere to the clubs the when wolves want to change the rules they bring forward a motion to suggest that they want to get rid of v it gets voted on if the clubs didn’t want transparency or do want transparency they are perfectly able to get a 14 to6 majority and vote through but they don’t so look don’t look at Masters he is just a bag carrier he’s the person that administrates the Premier League under the aices of The Wishes of the 20 member clubs he not just a bad carrier he’s a top man at the Premier League well metaphorically he’s a bad carrier because he’s administering he’s a face of the Premier League he’s administering what so Richard Mar says my bag Richard Richard Marcus says I want this and 14 clubs go s off you’re not having it what does Richard marus do carries their bag for them right that’s the very definition of a bag carrier so whilst he’s there to uphold the principles uphold the disciplines and be commercially and economically sensible he is operating under the office of what 20 member clubs want him to do yeah he to their tune couple of people at Wembley over the weekend Simon took me to one side and wanted to talk to me about City 115 charges now of course there’s only so much that we know you know more than most actually to be fair you Simon logically the hund in your in your mind do you see the 115 being pruned right down to about 15 or 20 I just said it and if so when well the the issue is not necessarily when it’s why it’s taking so long and you have to look at Manchester City okay for that process because Manchester City have argued about the makeup of the P of the panel they didn’t want an Arsenal supporting Advocate amongst the prosecuting or the the independent panel that we’re going to be adjudicating so there’s a lot of process the Premier League by taking this action are damned if they do damned if they don’t if they bring this action against Man City and they’re successful everyone goes you’ve got a corrupt League that’s you’ve been complient allowing a football club to commit fraud if they didn’t bring the prosecution everyone would say well what are you doing why didn’t you do that their job is defying Justice no well they absolutely But the irony of it is if you look going off on a piece here but you look at the incidental information that we got around us Chelsea for example in 2004 when there’s no Financial fair play did precisely what they wanted right broke the system well under no governance and here we are 20 years later with Chelsea looking at what happened to Man City and going how do we get around this we’ll sell assets to get around it we’ll sell hotels so Chelsea have got a double wh me they’ able to break the economic model in 2004 and almost destroy the landscape of financial regulation or thought processes that had any kind of sense attached to it and here they are finding another way around it with all due respect to Chelsea and they’re not suggesting they doing anything wrong and maybe if Man City had seen this coming they’ have gone tell you what we’ll do we’ll Buy Manchester City and we’ll load it into a structure that’s got loads of assets CU we know what’s happening in football but they didn’t have the money capab they but that doesn’t alter the fact that I genuinely believe whether Man City fans like it or not I do think they have a case to answer a grownup proper case now whether that can be can stick or whether my overriding suspicion is that there will be a settlement of some shape or description okay which is what I think will happen well this Monday morning Manchester City innocent until proven guilty until proven otherwise um but Manchester City also insists all along that uh when it comes to it they will clear their name this Jim White Simon Jordan Martin Keon and we’re at 11 Jim White and Simon Jordan Monday to Friday mornings from 10: on a.m On Da via the talk sport app and on your smart speaker 1. Let’s ask Arsenal if they misrepresented their deal with emirates for their naming rights deal. Did anyone else tender? Was it fair value? It was a British record.

  2. Basically City is stalling until they are able to corrupt the system/bribe officials. The fact it has taken this long suggests they haven’t been successful yet

  3. Simon Jordan on the take as well? Had a suitcase of cash to push the message that Man City aren't guilty?

  4. Guilty or not guilty?
We all know that the EPL/FA/EUFA etc dare not proceed to charge City as the commercial damage to these groups would be devastating.
The sheer knock on affect would kill the EPL status as the number one league in the world. Not only would the fines and points deductions harm City but the claims from other teams against the EPL/FA and City would be huge. In my opinion the EPL and FA will be happy to kick the can down the road and hope nothing happens.

  5. "Its only 5 to 10 charges they've duplicated" Oh, well that changes everything doesn't it! Sorry City, you cheated a less than I thought!

  6. There buying time like they bought the league titles it will just disappear I've said it from the start

  7. I suspect that this investigation is being done by the Premier League committee from an organization outside the UK pushing them to do it!!!!! 🤔 Hmmmm, UEFA????????????

  8. People are having kittens over what is happening and the fact is it will all get settled out of court for probably £50 million on man city's side and the premier league will say no more about it most likely and then we'll all move on from this silliness like simon jordan said chelsea were the original league breakers when it comes to financial gains but there were no rules back then so they just had a shopping spree every season for about 5 years but nobody ever jumped on their backs for that whatever happens off the pitch no one will ever take the sporting accolades and achievements off the players or pep guardiola if any rival fan thinks that city will get rogered by the premier league their slightly out of touch with reality the abu Dhabi group just isn't going to let that happen they'll break the premier league financially and put them through every court in the land billions of pounds worth of lawyers and court costs

  9. Even if found guilty there is no way they are going to upset the Shikhs, it's where the money's at and in the main the sporting industry has sold its soul to them.

  10. How much has he been paid to change his tune? When a Citeeh spokesperson was on his programme only a few months ago, he was shutting him down. Now he’s reversed his stance … interesting.

  11. Its no wonder Richy continues t escape justice when pillocks like Jordy continue in their obvious biased towards them;115 breaches an not 1 guilty ?
This plonker must b (1) smoking the hard stuff; (2) having a laff; (3) living in cloud cookoo land or in with the Cheaty fraudsters cos there's no 115 smoke without fire.
    Atleast 1 has t stick.
Ol SJ weren't so forthcoming of defending the 'littler reli-threatened financially poorer clubs (suprise suprise).

  12. If Cheaty r innocent, then why r they dragging their feet in producing legitimate paperwork an not altered evidence as we'll never know if paperwork produced was the TRUE original as no1 has seen the originals?
If ppl publicly accused u of multiple wrongdoing, ur 1st thought would b t IMMEDIATELY clear u name, ( u'd leave no stone unturned in ur effort t get immediate vindication an not let speculation continue f yrs t come).

  13. Cheaty r as guilty as hell; the whole public know it, the courts know it, they know it an their plastic fans know it
Whether its proven or not wont rver change that fact; how many celebrities hav paid off the courts f crimes committed in an efgort t b exonerated of crimes or true evidence t suddenly 'dissappear? Think Michael Jackson or Al Capone; it didnt mean thry wrre innocent , just not enough evidence provided t provr their guilt.

  14. Simon an Palace ; what wonderful work he did there as an owner, its not suorising hed defend similar financial cheats
