Need a brookstick… but not sure what length? This video shows you how to film a L.A.B. Golf Remote Fitting video so we can dial in your perfect length.

hey everyone Sam with lab golf here here to take you through the fitting process for your broomstick putter good news is it is super simple you don’t even need a video all we’re trying to do is ballpark a comfortable length if this is your first time broomsticking you’ve got a couple decisions to make how you’re going to stand and how you’re going to move the putter on one end of the spectrum you’ve got a burnhard Langer who stands almost straight up drives the putter mostly with his right arm at the other end of the spectrum you’ve got like an Adam Scott bends over quite a bit gets his elbow out at the Target and drives the putter with his core in his back burnhard Langer is 5’8 in and uses a 47in putter Adam Scott is 6’2 in and uses a 45 in putter so height isn’t necessarily the only um factor in determining what length is comfortable for you you need to figure out how you’re going to move it to do that we recommend using some of the other clubs in your bag I know that I like to stand up a little bit more that’s more comfortable for me so starting with the driver here which I know happens to be about 46 in and we’ll get to measuring in a second but all I’m going to do here is just decide whether or not this feels like a comfortable length the good news with broom sticking is is that we don’t need to worry about the lie angle the lie angle is going to be at 79.5 De the legal limit is 80° and the whole idea behind the method is to get as upright as we possibly can so the rest of it is just about figuring out how you’re going to stand how much spine tilt and how you’re going to move the putter so some people who like to get into more of an athletic posture different than me you might try your 3-wood or your hybrid yeah all my lines match up there I feel like I can bend over enough to drive it with my core that feels pretty good so now what you got to do is just measure one thing that’s really important is to take note of the part of the golf club that is touching the ground so in this case as you can see here I’ve got it set up on the toe and that’s really important because that’s where we’re going to take our measurement from when we measure we’re going to take it from the contact point on the ground to the top of the grip and that’s going to be the length of your putter if you’re unsure or on the fence as to whether or not you should go a little longer or a little shorter air on the side of longer that way you can get yourself an extra grip and you can cut it down put the grip cap back on and you’re good to go building them up is a bit more difficult than cutting them down so again air on the side of a little bit longer if you’re concerned after that head to the website order away we do strongly recommend getting one of the upgraded shafts for broomsticks in particular the really heavy heads and the longer Strokes tend to torque on a shaft to bit more than conventional Putters um and so you’ll definitely get some more performance out of uh some of the upgraded shafts it’s that simple enjoy your brand new broomstick putter

  1. I am not going with a long putter but I can't decide which one to go with, 2.1 or 3.0, which one is more forgiving or accurate?

  2. Question: How long can you make it? I’m 6’4” and would like to use like Bernard Langer. I have a bad back and would prefer this style. When I measure, I would need 54”. Is this even possible? Thank you!

  3. just bought a 2.1 LH 45" Accra from LAB Golf Outlet

did just what Sam said with the driver

so happy i committed to what felt good to me, i do not want to drive the putter with the core / shoulders, and i was worried 45" would be too long for me at 5'5"

    LAB Golf is amazing 🤩

  4. It is awesome that you came out with this video right after your discussion with Chris on No Putts Given. Real focus on getting customers what suits them.

  5. Hello, I made the mistake of buying a mezz 1 max putter stock from golf galaxy , not doing the custom fit. I’m struggling some with the putter. What options do i have to get this putter fitted for me?
