let me move on to the subject involving Camron himself um get to him he’s a co-host of the popular podcast it is what it is with former bad boy rapper Mace Cameron was asked to appear on CNN Monday night with Abby Phillip to discuss the Diddy case in the interview shall we say went off the rails cam clearly was not interested in answering any questions on Diddy and W and and wound up promoting a libido drink himself um he’s got a libbido drink out that’s actually doing very very well from what I hear so major props to him for that anyway the incident blew up social media and camon took time to address the backlash yesterday on his podcast with mace but you know what else happened a mutual friend of both myself and Camron defended his actions on CNN Monday night let me play that for you CNN don’t care nothing about cam they don’t care nothing about what he got going on and M’s successes what his businesses are doing and how they’re elevating they wouldn’t have invited him on that to Champion him and Champion what he got going on they brought him on there to further continue to kick and stomp on a man who’s already down and defeated bleeding out the mouth eyes and both ears they wanted him to continue doing that and when he didn’t do it or should I say when they attempted to do it it backfired and again a lot of people F away because you know a sister was attached to it but she was being used a black woman talking to a black man to continue the Beatdown of another black man that’s ratings for them I disagree with him I disagree with my man shabaz but before we go any further and I get deeper into this subject let me say something to y’all I might disagree or I might want to tweak what should have been said or whatever the case may be what you’re not going to hear me doing on this show is disrespecting those brothers first of all they both my brothers I’m friends with Camron shabaz and I go back decades it’s my dog loving to death it’s why I played that for y’all I wanted to give him some camera time that’s my man that man has been there for me on countless occasions throughout the year that’s one of my brothers I love him to death nothing but love him he’s smart as hell too but it’s all right to have a difference of opinion because even though we are from the streets there’s levels to this and they are on a level in the streets that I was never on I never had the troubles they had I never had the predicaments that they found themselves in I never had to overcome all the things that they overcome so there’s a heightened level of sensitivity that I have understanding that even though I’m from the streets of holl Queen Queens New York born in the Bronx and raised in Hollis and I had to deal with a lot of [ __ ] and the drug game and outside of it and all that other stuff in between it wasn’t on their level so I understand but on the corporate side I do come from that ilk as well more so than they do and what I try to pride myself in making sure that I say especially to my young brothers and sisters out there it’s always a numbers game and we always have to play the numbers game no matter how we want to act otherwise it’s a fact and I get sick and tired of our community ignoring that black folks make up 13.6% of the American population although we’re not a minority in this world we’re a minority in this country and the opportunities that come now our way are few and far between and far more challenges and obstacles accompany us than accompanies white folks how many times have you seen me on this podcast and various other platforms saying when white folks catch a cold black folks catch pneumonia it’s always worse for us so there’s a heightened level of awareness and sensitivity that I think we always need to have not because of us as the individual but because the system itself uses isolated examples to stigmatize the rest of us when one of us are rolling in a different way dare I say being a bit belligerent dismissive aloof whatever it is KRON a real one from Harlem Abby philli met a different cat now she met a different cat that she’s not familiar with I’m familiar with it shabaz is familiar with it the streets is familiar with who Camron is and how he rolls go back and look at his interview on 60 Minutes around 2007 or so go look at his interview with Dame Dash when they were both on the on the on the no Spin Zone with Bill O’Reilly that what you saw with camon on CNN the other day was not new was not new when he sitting there drinking his his drink I don’t know whether it was an ngg drink or his libido drink knowing him it could have been both I ain’t mad at them hell I want to know what that drink is my point to you however is this he veered away from it you drinking you going to look away as what agency booked the interview and all of that other stuff you got on the hat you got on the shades it’s not the suited and booted can’t Ron we see on it is what it is sometimes suited and booted tie looking crisp sharp looking at Corporate America damn near looking like he ready to walk on Wall Street when that dude it was that dude it was killer can we see from Harlem now I don’t have a problem with it and I know he don’t have a problem with it because let me come to Cam’s defense by saying this he ain’t trying to be in every room he ain’t trying to be in the streets one minute and and and then you know Corporate America the next he knows who his order is he knows what he’s comfortable with that’s who he going to speak to that’s who he going to cater to I understand I understand my only deal was why even show up on CNN then mace was right next to him it was Mace that was under P Diddy’s label Bad Boys cam wasn’t signed with him ma was who did book that gu who did book cam why didn’t they book mace instead of Cam was that about that’s true my man shabaz I love that brother he’s always thinking about us he’s always looking out for us as a people always and he don’t have a fake bone in his body 95% of the time we agree it’s 5% of the times we don’t still love them still respect the hell out of them anytime I go to Miami it’s one of my first calls it’s my that’s my brother that’s my dog here’s the thing when he points out what he pointed out here’s where I would respectfully disagree with him Abby Phillip was not being used it’s her job as a journalist if she has somebody on the air to ask as pertinent questions to a guest I hear cam Camron loud and clear it is what it is great podcast growing by Leaps and Bounds making noise oh by the way they do do a lot of positive things go back and watch this episode with some of the stuff he points out about mace and some of mace’s charitable works that mace never talks about I know for a fact that Camron do a lot of good things Camron is a good brother heart’s in the right place always wants to get better always wants to learn always wants to do good by people who he believes are worthy of it and is always cognizant and sensitive to his community no doubt about that but you got to know that when you show up on CNN right after the video a did he come out and you a hip-hop artist former or president you going to be asked about that you have to know that so it can’t be like you were put off or you were surprised or you you it was unexpected hell no it wasn’t Camron is no dummy that’s a smart brother and he used that appearance to his Advantage because we know about that damn libido drink now I can tell you that much and we know about somebody the other projects and we certainly know about it is what it is podcast but he knew they were going to ask him about that and In fairness to him he did start off the interview by saying he don’t condone none of that what happened was not okay he ain’t no supporter of domestic violence he ain’t no supporter of putting his hands on women he ain’t no supporter of of of some sex trafficking ring and none of that stuff he said all of that he did say that he did say that and when she asked the question about an apology and how he felt she felt about how did camon feel about P Diddy’s apology he was like it don’t matter what I feel it’s about Cassie that is a legitimate answer it ain’t for Camron or anybody else to interpret really P Diddy’s apology we gonna do it anyway when we watched it we said hell that ain’t good enough you never even mentioned her name you didn’t seem sincere who the hell advised you to do this we all going to have an opinion on it but you’re entitled not to have an opinion about it is my point which is within cam Ron’s right where shabz in our part ways is when he talked about hey Abby philli being used she’s not being used she’s doing her job if I was sitting in her chair I would have had to ask those questions to a hip hop artist that came on the air to be interviewed by me right in in the immediate aftermath of that video being showed that’s called journalism that’s journalism whether you like it or not that’s journalism also you talk about just a black woman talking to a black man to bring another black man down because Diddy’s already Down In fairness to shabaz he also condemned P Diddy’s actions nobody is condoning it but the last thing we need to be doing is be talking about what’s cruel to did he at this particular moment in time there comes a point in time where tone deafness doesn’t need to be the order the day now a month from now six months from now a year from now y’all got it but damn the video just came out Friday you trying to tell me asking somebody about that is trying to bring the black man down no the black woman was down trying to kick the man while he was down no the black woman was down being kicked and I know shabaz knows this and I know camon knows that now you have certain people that’ll look at it and they’ll go like this nah man bump that hell with all of that just like I said the other day they’ be like this where’s the video of the white man that’s why I brought up Scotty Sheffer the number one golf in the world where’s that damn body Canam video oh conveniently that’s turned off see that’s what pisses us off because you see the discrepancy now that’s not always factual because there’s plenty of incriminating videos of white people that are circulated out there that is true but when you don’t see that incriminating video and then all of a sudden a black man like P Diddy gets caught on video with all of that stuff of course your antennas are going to get raised but in the end ladies and gentlemen we can’t look at him like he’s the victim not when he flagrantly victimized another human being who was on the floor lying defenseless and still and didn’t do anything to push back didn’t swing didn’t grab didn’t scratch didn’t throw anything nothing she just lied there and by the way last nugget of Intel the very thing he apologized olog for is the very thing he flagrantly adamantly emphatically denied this past December like literally verbatim lie lie lie lie lie that’s a lie that’s a lie that’s a lie when it was the truth so when that happens what I would say to Camron what I would say to shabaz my man but I would say to anybody who’s thinking like they were thinking in the moment we all from the streets we want to be as real and other authentic as we possibly can be in making sure that the streets hears us but there’s streets all across America and last time I checked there’s sisters there’s daughters there’s mam there’s aunts there’s cousins there’s a whole bunch of females in those streets too we don’t want them treated like that which I know those Brothers know and I would ask you to defer back to spark on Star Trek I’m being serious here even though that sounds funny remember the movie star track when he goes up in there and they got he got to save the ship cuz Scotty screaming we’re losing power capter we’re losing power remember that and all that damn radiation and all that stuff and he got to go in there and to save them and like why Captain like why why would you do this like the lives of the many outweighs the lives of the few where am I going with this it’s very simple P Diddy did that [ __ ] not black men not the hood not the streets no that’s his ass he did that [ __ ] I don’t believe Camron would ever do that nor condone it I don’t believe my man shabbaz would ever do that nor condone it you know I would never do that I wouldn’t associate myself with people who do do that mistakes happen conflict and altercations happen we don’t see much like that and in the moment that that happens that takes precedent every time we aim in a different direction you might have a few who like yeah yeah yeah that’s the way to go but understand something when you have the power to influence the minds and the hearts of so many other others like Cameron does like I do like many many others like my man shabaz does with anybody that talks to him because he’s a brilliant brother understand that the platforms that we have are not accorded to everybody no matter how many podcast you see out there how how many people you think with their own Media Company their own podcast or whatever everybody don’t have a voice we want to act like we can say and do whatever we want when we want to how we want to do it I tell this my producer Sher all the time we want to act like we could do whatever we want when we want how we want whatever we damn well please but we got our hands out for somebody else’s money capitulation is the order of the day it could be an employer it can be endorsers it could be sponsors it could be anybody nothing is free and nothing gets done without the help of others and in order to receive that help a lot more often than not you have to be worthy so let’s highlight what’s unworthy let’s highlight the [ __ ] we cannot condone happening to use it as a dissuasive measure and a dissuasive force to eradicate that [ __ ] from ever happening again you know what I’m willing to say right here on the record do I believe that’s the only time P Diddy did some [ __ ] like that no I don’t do I believe after this video has come out that that’s the last time he’ll ever do some [ __ ] like that yes I do he might not have been willing to listen to anybody before he might have did what he wanted to do when he wanted to do with how you wanted to do it to if be damn well pleased before how much you want to make it bet that’s not the case now that’s because Collective condemnation has kicked in where there are no Defenders and for the record ladies and gentlemen Cameron was not defending him shabaz is not defending him that is not what I’m saying what I’m saying is that argument about black folks tearing down black folks and all that St there are certain moments in life where that [ __ ] does not apply this is one of those times this is one of those times you got to stand back and be like damn I am sick and tired of black men being demonized and villainized and castigated etc etc but I’ll be damned if this ain’t one of those times that I don’t need to be making that damn argument this is just not that time not over this this ain’t a dude having an attitude and acting up in front of the camera because of you know a sponsor or because of NBA fine or a suspension or something like that or an NFL player getting into some [ __ ] with his coach or whatever this ain’t something like that everybody and anybody that’s a black man that loves women especially his black sisters know good and damn well that if that man had done that to a woman you loved and you cared about you’d be ready to kill him that’s the point that’s the point outside of that please go and watch camon on it is what it is podcast he does a great job I’m proud of him proud to call him a friend and a brother we talk all the time we talked about this my man shabaz he know so love I’m about to see him next week the week after when I when I get down to Miami that’s my dog I love him to death just understand that’s what makes us stronger as a Brotherhood we can have different opinions and be respectful about it because we got love for one another that’s what it’s all about

  1. The pictures that u paint about situations is unparalleled its like you sit and like at every detail of the painting and make meaning of it…I'm an artist ….do you guys know how complicated that is?
    Much respect SAS

  2. Hey Stephen a Smith were you been used when you said Dana White was your friend…. He slapped his wife &🎉 the first thing you said was even though, where is the story about New York Knicks owner James Dolan? Stephen a not talking about him because he's white

  3. Of he disagree with the first part.
Because he'll kick you while you're bleeding for the white man.
He can yell all he likes.
Basically, he's to tone your blackness down and behave for and in front of his master.
    I'll never rock with SAS.

  4. CNN don't give a damn about Cam and what he got going on…no disrespect to cam but he's not important enough for CNN to interview about what he is up to and what he have going on

  5. I love Cameron and always will he’s a man first black man second and thirdly funny asf but i respect it 😂😂

  6. CNN invited Cam to be messy NOT to talk about his entrepreneurship and all the success his brand has made Stephen purposely missing the point it seems

  7. Men sas is just weak cam wasn't on no level as a drug dealer and what that got to do with him acting like he didn't know what them people wanted to talk about men all you big media so called Blackmen are weak as hell and nobody want are need no fruity pink horse cam can keep that weak garbage to 😂😂😂😂🤣

  8. On both sides, they already know how Killa Cam is so why bring him on and then also Cam could have acted like a professional and just declined to answer without acting ignorant. I will never defend the way he was acting because it lacked any class and perpetuates a stigma, but they set themselves up for it.

  9. Shabazz dumb for having ounce of sympathy for puffy. Got nothing to do with race he is a bitch for doing what he did to Cassie.

  10. CNN tried to get Cam to bad mouth Diddy….and it completely backfired 😂😂

  11. Stephen A this is when your own people would label you a [. 0. 0 . N . The Diddy video is disgusting. Not condone his wickedness. However It’s a racial aspect and CNN knows exactly what their doing when putting a black women to continue to kick a black man when he’s down.

Why can’t they send a white woman.? You know why? Because there is a racial aspect to it. It would “look bad” for CNN. So they send the Black woman. But why not send an middle eastern journalist with a British accent. Why no a culturally aware Asian who can relate to the hip hop world
Why not put another black man? Their goal is to cause separation amongst black men and black women. While at the same time destroying another black man.

Another thing. We are not asking the right questions. Why is this video surfacing now? Who is responsible for keeping the diddy video under wraps? To keep a video like this hidden takes a lot of evil. How long has this video been .

Last but not least just like CNN knows what their doing, You too know what you are doing Stephen A. You have to keep it “corporal” and defend CNN. You’re not defending the black woman dont kid yourself. You’re defending the slave master. Great way to mask it “ she’s doing her job” but you did add “she’s not being used” which implies that the network she is doing her job for is not using her. Not defending her but then. And FOR THAT. The Father will hold you accountable for that. Deep down you know you are deceitful. But it’s hidden with pride and covetousness for more of the riches with slave master faces on them.

  12. Man all this shit was 8 yrs ago.. and it do looks suspicious that 8 yrs later after they raided that man house they found that audio.. and they used that as. A weapon to destroy that man.. I understand what shabbaz was saying but Stephen A . You need to be tried boy see you don't know what it's like to get SMACKED in yo mouth..

  13. You can be used at your job cnn does not care about black community it was placed for saulicious gossip record companies use too do this too rap artist with beefs

  14. Diddy has paid restitution for Cassie. I’d have Mike Tyson punch me over and over for a million dollars. Diddy paid $30m for kicks that didn’t pack any force.
