that’s hot it’s all right uh following up on that yes you did have a great number today but six and nine both of those I mean within inches you could be right do do you look at that as hey I’m playing my best and that’s great or is it the opposite man those are missed opportunities no I I you know I I made a really a couple really nice up and downs for par as well so I feel like that stuff kind of evens itself out I’ll just try to keep executing and um my game feels really really good right now I haven’t had the results that I feel like that I probably should have the last few weeks but I’m I’m playing some pretty good golf and it nice to get off to a good start can you talk about the power 3es the folks not just Gil but others have talked specifically about the power 3s here and how they could be some of the better ones in the in the world is in you know of course every Club says that what’s your T now after playing a few yeah I I don’t you know I said I said in an interview earlier that the the the fear when you redo an iconic place like this is that they mess it up and I I feel pretty confident saying that they didn’t mess it up now the course needs time to mature the grass really isn’t quite where it needs to be yet it just it takes a long time for those roots to get their structure and for everything to to settle down so I’m going to hold off judgment uh for another couple years probably on how I think about it but I I don’t think they mess it up I think they did a pretty good job in terms of preparation some guys need a ton of time know a golf course really intimately how do you fit on that spectrum is it kind of nice to be everybody at a fresh start here for you or would you prefer a lot more you know I I love the the old course so much I I’d had so many laps around this place this one that I always had circled so felt like I had a little bit of knowledge especially on the younger guys you know trying to play Colonial for the first couple times but yeah we’re all on the same footing now but I feel like like the essence of the course is still the same you know you’ve got to hit some some really demanding t- shots and if you can pull those off you get you know some shorter clubs into the hle so I I don’t feel like that the the main theme of this place has changed a whole lot so I understand there’s a tournament that’s not on the leaderboard among you Georgia Boys no not for me this week no I’ve got my family out so yeah I I’ll let them play their whatever the hell they got going on count three yeah I think they got a they got something going on I think they betting a payment on a house for the week against each other yeah yeah so you’re not in I wasn’t in the draft no I I I went undrafted oh it’s a draft Yeah they drafted they they they had captains and then picked went one down if one of them plays good you can ask them about it who doesn’t pick the reigning open Champion well I’m not staying with him so you got it thanks good
