[Music] Hello everybody welcome back to the channel in today’s video we dive back into some John Deere classic news as we are 40 days counting away from the 2024 jdc so let’s get to the news that we gathered up this week a couple of big things um most of which came from the media breakfast which was hosted earlier this week right here in the Quad Cities where uh interviews were held with tournament director Andrew Layman we’ll get to a couple things that he spoke of in a minute but right now there’s two big names that are going to be coming to the John Deere classic one of those to start the defending jdc Champion it is sep straa who will appear to be coming back to TPC Deer Run This Week talked to the media earlier at the media breakfast um some videos that I saw he was talking about what it took to win this year um and uh based on the sound of the John Deere classic Twitter page SE sta is coming back to the 2024 jdc just the John Deere classic won of just two wins for sep straa although he has had some success and he’s 25th in the FedEx Cup right now um and 22nd in the official world golf rankings already two top 10 here in 2024 so he’s been playing some good golf this uh this past year or so um including that big way last July at the John Deere classic so it’ll be great to see the Austrian sep straa back out here in the Quad Cities this year and he’s just one of 11 top 50 players that are so to be said coming to the John Deere classic that’s what Andrew Layman the tournament director for the jdc said on W qad News 8 our local news station here in the Quad Cities um at the media breakfast a couple days ago so that’s something to keep an eye out who will these big Nam be that commit down the road we already know one that’s Jason day except shka number two that’s two top 50 guys so still if that 11 checks out that would be still nine more top 50 guys and a whole lot more big names coming out to the John Deere Classic this year one guy that we know is coming Z Zack Johnson and that’s because we have another proam exciting pram partner for him that was announced earlier this week Zack Johnson played with Caitlyn Clark last year this year he gets another Iowa star this time men’s basketball it’s Keegan Murray who will be playing nine holes in the proam on Wednesday with Zack Johnson Keegan Murray the former Iowa Hawkeye and the current Sacramento King coming back to the QC for this year’s proam with Zack Johnson so that will be a fun Wednesday there those two will play nine holes together and Keegan Murray big big name although he’s not a pro he will definitely draw a crowd on Pro Am Wednesday setting up to be an exciting week just 40 days from today the John Deere classic 2024 plenty more big news to be announced plenty more coverage coming your way right here on gr the sports guy on YouTube and at my Twitter SLX Grant dollr follow along for all the jdc updates from here through the next 40 to 50 days it’s going to be a fun ride once again thank you so much for watching everybody make sure to like And subscribe and we will see you in the next one
