all right we’re playing Pinehurst number two one of the world’s ultimate golf courses and we’re a few weeks out from the US Open so we are at U nearly US Open conditions so I need to make this round as easy as possible so I’m going all in here I’m hitting like all 11 clubs these are hybrid irons I want the ball to come in as high and as soft as possible so the question is can I break 80 with hybrids irons an 11 driver I got everything 11 wedges we’re going all in we got to go high and soft a gamble we’ll see what 11 can do and to make things easy on us we are playing it all the way back 7500 yards we’re starting out a hole two it’s a 57 yard Par Four all I think we found the Fairway all right Ethan’s our caddy special request so we’re glad glad to have him who else did you cadd for last time um I CAD for lukew and Sean Walsh last time yeah you guys have seen that here we have a 243 second shot I got to hit three-wood I would think so and we’re missing a little left we’re putting huh it’s an eagle Putt in my book well we were on the green at one point but it’s Donald Ross So if you’re not perfect it rolls right off I don’t think we’re in a bad spot we’re going to put it up there uh-oh that’s coming down Josh all right I’m going to chip those in the future Donald Ross got me whole three we only won about 240 Max over we’re hitting our four iron brid iron GD 11 golf that driver I smoked that thing on the on our on the second hole so felt good about that that was easy to hit left edge of grand you said yep left Center left okay I never saw it but where is it okay we’re playing with Josh Kelly ho in one trick shots what’s going on guys how’s everything one of the coolest guys um on the planet thank you thank you man and you got some awesome trick shots Stu I’m looking forward to seeing that short game in action hopefully I didn’t show anything off there there’s a putter I feel yeah I feel like when when I that wedge comes out that’s when the good things start happening that will happen from now you actually hit that hard but it kind of like bounced yeah and if if you go long there you’re not getting that up and down right like correct that’s that’s like what makes this place so hard is just you get so nervous around the greens yeah like if you literally like blade one over the green you can make you could be next to the green and two and make an eight I almost made an eight we’re also playing with kwami here and Sam y our Fork didn’t show up so Sam who’s a member here he joins he’s joining us so that’s cool it’s a wonderful day at pineur number dose that’s a great thank you thank you all right we’re putting for birdie that was easy these clubs are so easy to hit it’s like almost like cheating I feel like I missed a little bit like I didn’t nut it and we have 15 feet for birdie so so far so good let’s not count our 11s before they hatch got a big old breaker here thanks thanks dang I was so fast so slick I didn’t think it was going to get there first all right whole four we are back here 529 ydd r four so probably driver 3 would I think it’s Fairway you could see what awaits the uh US Open contestants I mean I barely missed this it’s Fairway and then you’re in trouble Ethan basically says there’s no cheating out here is what he was telling me in not so many words you better hit good shots so we’re hitting three-wood just try to get it close I don’t think I can get it there great ball thanks it’s a great job thank you you just can’t come up short here huh turn went right dang he it’s just putting right now that’s the problem it’s just putting I hit it good we’re hitting good shots 600 yard par five uhoh give me a good lie over there all right I cut the corner a little bit which um you you’re not supposed to do so we’re in the sandy stuff good news is it’s a par five yeah but I feel like we’ve already played two par FS at least sometimes you have to come and get beat up yeah just to get an appreciation for the tour guys cuz they just make it look so easy should we go for it I mean I could hook a fivewood like carry I could carry that like 235 oh I hit that so good that could be on thank you stay right there all right just short that’s why I hit the fivewood all right this course I like it so far right Hill not oh we got a bir oh my gosh I felt in this hole on any hole I’m happy with the par all right all we got with 225 Par Four 227 all I got is a four iron it’s going to be in that bunker I don’t hate that thanks thanks got it come on baby snuck one out we got a little Sandy right there take that seventh hole 425 Par Four so um short hole well for us open purposes nice good all right 152 we’re going eight um eight iron got a good lie out of here for the most part Ball’s on the up slope so let’s see if we can get it there stay there little deep hit it good though those wedges are pretty easy to hit I like it they got a nice little check to them 510 yd par 4 and I was just reminded we’re playing a par 70 today thank you all right I went at the right line I felt like we hit in Fairway I’m hitting a lot of Fairways well or I’m just barely missing them okay all I know when I hit the fairways it’s like center of the Fairway or just barely off so that club it might not go I don’t know it’s going pretty far so I I like the 11 driver it’s not bad um easy to hit and we got like 220 I’m going to go four iron is but we don’t want to go long so shorter is better than longer here I do like being center cut of the Fairway oh I hooked it again all right we got our work cut out for us H stay there okay okay I’m happy with that [Music] thanks thank you it’s five it’s a par five for the members so it would have been a par but um for US Open contenders which is Josh not me then it’s uh bogey um nine is the win Alexis for year hole hole in one we get we only get it for a year lame how lame is that you a hole in one that go your whole life without a hole in one and you get a car for one year we get to play a little um shorter today well they it’s not much more than the uh or less than the US Open te’s about 10 10 yards or so on I mean that’s a high eight iron well that’s the right Club the right Club this thing comes in there like a raindrop we got a long putt though did I win no I’m like we got to get rid of that my wife got rid of all right number 10 617 par five good thing thought they were going to trick us again and make it a par four going right at the Grand stands right center of the grand stand pulled it a bit okay I think we’re okay just a high cutter up there probably 230 20 220 okay so I got my fivewood I said High cutter of course I’ve been hitting these draws all day so we see what happens well I might have I hit it really good but it might be a little too far right get a lie I think we’re I think we’re okay the good news is these are all waste areas oh little 55 here I found this little patch of uh straw you going to come down okay thanks thank you par 4 number 11 I think I’m six over so far so we’re hanging we’re hanging in there we got to do a little better stay there all right okay short knocker there we’ve got a 240 left to this par 4 I thought it was a birdie hole it is going to be I am hitting a fivewood balls bit up my feet so I got to Plate out to the right let it come back oh I hooked it okay we’re going to be in a bunker again but I don’t hate being in a bunker we’ve done well out of there we’re going through a little bit of a rough patch right now the wheels I wouldn’t say they’ve come off we got a nail on the tire so we need a quick little repair job and get right back on the horse ah sit I just downhill lie dang it that’s off the green SLE SLE oh wow I’m making a mess of it thanks whole 12 I feel good after that putt that it dropped so whatever we just got 484 par 4 just keep it in play Keep It In The Fairway ah I went right I’m with Josh over there get a good lie saf I got to go left and try to play big cut big cut yeah cuz there’s trees in my way yeah I don’t think I can go under it can I run it up to this hole if I go under this limb I’m going to go under it cuz this is going to hit it I’m kind of aiming at that cart sit sit sit oh stop oh we’re we’re right next to the hole have gave it a better try there that’s three-wood from 190 that’s my shot of the day highlight of the day right there three-wood from 190 I had to go under this Limb and uh like I wanted that four iron but it was it goes too high it’s a high kind of Club and I couldn’t cut it enough with that typee of lock so I had to I had to manufacture some sometimes you just got to you got to try you won’t know unless you try I mean this thing it roll right by the hole and if it goes if I’m left of the hole it rolls off right over there so we’re all all of Lady Luck helped us out there did not hit it what I rolled right over it didn’t hit it I pushed it I pushed it dang it all right we have um 13 short par 4 this will probably be drivable for the uh for the pros on US Open day or really close thanks all right we found a middle of Fairway we’re back uh middle of the Fairway we got 108 we can go a little past I’m going to go nice smooth 50° wedge cuz we can’t be short all right we’re on for now is it going to stay I I think so maybe 20 ft for birdie here one of our good chances it’s a big breaker and I’m thinking I don’t know if pin high is good at this course I think you want to be just below the hole these pin High ones got some movement to it oh if I hit it had a good line thanks all right 14 473 par 4 pretty straight good definition here love the bunkering as long as I’m not in it I love it when I’m not in it I love looking at it yeah it looks good I might be in it a little that’d be good okay we’re okay we’ll be fine four iron hybrid 11 I just got to get a good aim my aim’s just been kind of off so I think we’re good I got a great angle though so I like being over here got a good lie here too oh I hit the sand dang it all right well we laid up we’re in a good spot I feel like I had all this shot all day yesterday at the Cradle so feel good about it use 60° wedge try to get up and down oh little come on okay little short a little short right not my best but not my worst I didn’t hit it I didn’t hit it another bogey I think we’re on the cut line now got to hang in there we need a birdie we don’t need a birdie but we just need to make less mistakes this is a hard course I’m doing everything to make it as easy as possible but it’s still difficult par three 190 I’m going six here and just trying to get a good high shot of little helping wind this green looks like it’s got nowhere to land it it’s just a bowl shape upside down oh a fly landed on my ball right when I took my back swing yeah all right we’re in a bunker again little bunker shot here good news is when I hit those 11 cups poorly like I still get like 10 high basically 500 and like 40 yard par 4 it’s of those par fives that they’re making us put a four down for it and we need to I think I also need to go even par on the last to break 80 or one under we’re right on the border line he going to make it oh barely woo all right we’re Fairway going fivewood I’m going to have to catch it you think it’s three-wood nah 230 to the front 236 to the front okay not over there this course is tough and I’m trying too hard that’s not a good combination that’s a pathetic attempt we I think we just doubled one two three four six that’s a double which currently we’re over the cut line of eight all right 17 we have 200 yards I’m hitting the four iron if we birdy the hole we get like this little Medallion oh I hit it really good the wind just gusted on me though go get up oh got it sit sit nice shot that’s a really good shot oh okay we got a chance got a chance at The Medallion we got a chance at The Medallion let’s do this thank you go go oh kidding me dude the theme of our group today how dides that not go in Bur Oh I thought I was in the whole way there goes my chance at a medallion left or right you got two more holes technically this hole has some history 18 Piner 450 from back here we need to go like one under on these next two holes man we had a chance I’m not going to think about what happened on the last hole y all right we’re in a fairway hitting a lot of Fairways we just have long ways in for our second shots we have 220 something left to 18 we’re going to go fivewood up there man it just doesn’t look like we got too much I don’t even know where the green is oh boy all right do the best you can just hit a good shot like I’m at a driving range oh I hooked it in the grand stand that’s probably pretty good though get in there oh my God I theen hey what I I think you’re just short of the green see what you do is like the pros if they’re here when they’re here you can Ricochet it off the grand stand and it’ll kick toward the green that’s what we did I didn’t carry it far enough that had a lot of bite on it like that oh see that was me I didn’t hit her I would have went it if I had hit it it’s our last hole number one we get to finish on one which is pretty cool and I need a eagle to break 80 Josh what do you think oh it’s doable it it’s doable it’s a big boy course and I’m you know I used to hit a far even though I’m not very tall I used to have some swing speed it s evaporated this is cool we’re in the flags we got 402 par 4 I’m going to pretend I’m starting but I’m finishing well I drop kicked it but we’re in the Fairway nice that’s a good Miss thanks 120 shot got the 50° 11 wedge got some downwind let’s see if we can finish strong just finish strong I got to make this to break 80 oh boy that’s about the worst swing I’ve had all day that’s what happens when you you can’t try too hard you just got to let it happen I did not let it happen and we are at the probably the most difficult course in America currently one of them you see the fall off of the greens that Donald Ross does this is a good example of them every Green is like this all right I’m just scooching in pretty tight to this so we don’t dig heel into the ground we we need all of Mr short gamess to make this for a birdie they broke the other way I didn’t hear anything we got number two we got number two birdie free round great stuff brother number two took a number two on us today I think with that bogey was 82 not great but dude I’m telling you those uh those hybrids were pretty solid hit them pretty well hit the driver great actually so link below for those guys and uh
