UFC Fight Night St Louis in the main event a heavyweight scrap between the black beast drick Lewis taking on Rodrigo nento I I can’t believe this is the main event truly it’s nao’s first ever Main Event Derrick Lewis is there as well which is cool but I’m surprised of all fights this is the one that gets a crowd now I’m going to go on my quick anti-fc Apex rant I swear I will go 30 seconds if you can main event this with a Arena it’s an NHL arena and fill it out with fans to get in the hockey sized Arena you can put any Main Event anywhere in the United States and still do decent live Gates so the UFC should keep doing this I don’t care even next week like I know it’s in the Apex with Eden Barbosa and Lon Murphy that card should Main Event somewhere if you put that card in Portland Oregon or Sacramento California is going to sell Lincoln Ohio or Lincoln Ohio Lincoln Nebraska Columbus Ohio like regions in America are dying for MMA and dying for the UFC in person just put it in front of crowds anyways let’s do it Lewis and Nazi amento in the main event we have got 13 fights on this card and we’re going to start things off first uh with the quick plug uh folks uh if you haveen yet though make sure that make sure to hit that subscribe button down below for UFC every single week here on the channel we’ve been hitting at a pretty good rate so far this year with all MMA picks and also we’re going to do this tomorrow uh pfl Maya predictions it’s the pfl Saudi AR Saudi Arabian branch um I’m just going to do a quick video on it tomorrow it probably won’t last that long but I’ll give you Quick Picks and give you some insight on the guys I do know on the card so I’m not going to I’m not an expert in Saudi Arabian MMA but I do know some of the guys the pfl does have the on the card so we’re going to talk about that tomorrow but let’s get into the first fight of 13 we’re starting things off here in the women’s flyweight division JJ Aldridge versus Veronica hardy hardy is on a two-fight winning streak after returning to the UFC after that three-year layoff after losing to BM mki over in Brazil she’s come back she beats Juliana Miller by unanimous decision and then she beat Jam Lyn H dur last fight by Split Decision Hardy’s been good though right like since she has come back since she has taken the Hardy last name right she has won two fights using her wrestling very well in the Juliana Miller fight and the Jamie lorth fight like it’s not entertaining by any stretch to the imagination but Hardy does enough to outpoint linor in the first and second rounds third round is Jamie Lor taking advantage and really working and out kind of kind of conditioning um Veron cuz she’s able to out grapple her and really able to beat her two position in the third round but the first two rounds were definitely won by one Veronica Hardy she’s taken on JJ Aldridge who you know quietly has produced a nine and5 record in the UFC now which I think is kind of insane um she had some tough fights right losing back to back to both Aaron blanchfield and arani lipsky but then most recently beating langang na which was just a gimme match up for her and then beating Montana de la Roa by unanimous decision a fight that she was actually an underdog in which is kind of surprising um now I’m not going to lie I think yeah I did take Montana de L Roa to win the fight but JJ Aldridge just wins fights that you might not think she’s supposed to like even the Jillian Robertson fight I remember a lot of people were going with Robertson for that fight in 2022 I picked Aldridge to win that one she got it done by decision but Aldridge she’s got decent boxing right she’s not really known for the wrestling she can go down there if she does see a discrepancy in the ground game um but really it’s going to be the striking out of her that that is going to win her fights right she was able to keep the fight standing against Montana De laar Rosa and she was able to outbox her leang na fight she was able to finish n on the feed and I know na is now out of the UFC but still right like it’s a decent win she’s able to go out there and get her only finish so far in the UFC um and the problem with JJ Aldridge has been so far in her run once she does take on the top 15 Fighters or the top 10 Fighters I would say she does see some trouble go back to 2019 that was Macy Barber’s real big breakout performance where she knocked out Aldridge in the second round in Tennessee in 2019 um Aldridge got the chance against Aaron blanchfield she lost by guillotine show and then you know AR lipsky borderline top 10 top 15 fighter ended up beating her by unanimous decision in Vegas in 2023 on that Yan dili undercard I just think this is too much for Veronica Hardy I still think Aldridge is on a different level than Hardy I think through her striking um when you look at the fight and how it’s contested on the ground I think Veronica Hardy might have a slight Advantage down there but on the feed I do really like JJ alers and I’ve seen alers go out there and beat uh fighters who you know should have an advantage on against her in the grappling realm but aldd has been able to keep the fight standing and use her defensive wrestling very well cuz that’s what aldd has been doing well she’s been using her defensive wrestling and she does box of opponent her opponents when needed I really like JJ Aldridge in this pick here I think she’s able to win the fight by decision I’m looking at topology right now Hardy 76% Aldridge 24% I like the underdog on topology in terms of the odds Aldridge is an underdog as well we’re going with an underdog pick to start this fight card off um and we’re GNA take JJ Aldridge by unanimous decision now real quick before we move on just a quick disclaimer I am recording this video on May 1 I am moving so I need to get these videos done ahead of time so this video is going out on Sunday which will be May 5th so I’m just recording this on May 1st if anything changes to the card I’ll have updates in the description down below I’ll do a write up on a fight if it changes if the main event changes um I’ll just make a separate video with the new main event right so that’s how that’s going to go um but yeah we’re going to take JY by decision but so yeah if anything changes in the card from now until fight week until I guess Sunday then there will be a change or there will be something in in the description uh detailing the newest fight okay on to our next one here we will have Jared Gooden taking on the Frenchman Kevin joua in this one for Gooden right it’s his second stt in the UFC and you know he won his last fight he’s one in one so far in the second run might be a fight that that Gooden needs to win to remain in the promotion I don’t know but he’s taken on a UFC Undefeated fighter in jaet undefeated UFC fighter winning back-to-back fights winning his first one against kefir Crosby by submission in the first round over in Australia and then winning later that year in 2023 against s Kean by unanimous decision going out there and really putting a pace on Kean out striking in basically two to one and every and winning every single round in that fight too jit’s not bad I really didn’t know like what we were going to get out this guy coming into the UFC and yes I have picked him twice so far to win in the promotion and it has worked but I was kind of you know I really didn’t know what to expect because he was winning fights in HEX uh prior to his uh you know run in the UFC he lost a fight by Split Decision in Eternal MMA in 2022 and then you know want a fight against an 0 And1 guy at the end of 2022 as well it was weird right and you never know right like hex is a good promotion um over in uh in Australia right so jousted is a Frenchman who is training out of City kickboxing in Australia or New Zealand um and you know two and0 so far in the UFC he’s taking on Jared Gooden Gooden’s got heavy hands we’ve seen it so far and in the Wellington Turman fight right he actually takes down terman in that second round um and ends up finding the back and getting the submission I don’t think turman’s the greatest honestly um the first round was close and competitive I did give it to terman because Thurman was able to outg Grapple Gooden in the Striking was fairly even in that first round as well before that Gooden though a loss to Carlson Harrison his return to the UFC now Carlson Harris is going to be in a co- man event spot for the UFC um I don’t know if it’s the next Apex card it is it’s next week he’s the com- man event events in Barbosa and Lon Murphy the co-main I kid you not is chaos Williams versus Carlon Harris it’s insane anyways good and Los loses the fight to Carlson Harris Harris out wrestles him and just beats him on the feet too uh before that for Gooden his last fight in his first UFC stint losing a unanimous decision to Randy Brown we look at what Gooden did outside of the UFC did not go undefeated actually I believe he went 4- one yeah winning on the first uh rebranded icon FC card on Fight Pass beating Cur millinder on xma came back lost to impa kangai by first round knockout X MMA now at the time I thought it was ridiculous impo wasn’t getting a second shot in the UFC and Gooden was but I mean I think it I think it worked out pretty well for kangai he is now the champion in the pfl and he’s doing pretty well for himself over there um and then after that for good after losing to impa by first knockout he won back-to-back fights over Doug Usher and Demarcus Jackson in NFC and United Fight League respectively I just think Jon’s got better kickboxing here I don’t know if this fight really hits the mat but if it does I feel good enough about J’s defensive wrestling to keep the fight standing or even just to you know do well in in terms of rolling on the mat with Jared Gooden I think though you do see primarily a striking fight and I do just like jit’s hands a lot more than I do Jared Gooden’s yes Gooden’s got power but everywhere else jit should be able to out strike Gooden I think he’s able to stay on the outside I think he’s be he’s going to be able to use his kickboxing effectively and jit should be able to win the fight by decision again if Gooden wins he’s probably going to have to catch joset other than that I don’t think he can stand there and trade for 15 minutes and get the better of the fight so I’m going to take joset the Frenchman now trading out of Auckland New Zealand to win the fight by unanimous decision to our next one we have a fight in the Flyway division it is Charles inner G Johnson taking on his opponent here in the Englishman in Jake Hadley for Charles Johnson coming off a win over AA masam in his last fight winning the fight by unanimous decision on that doid imav card masam does drop him in the first round you’re thinking okay Johnson’s probably going to be on his way out of the UFC with a loss here no he bounces back he wins the second two rounds and he ends up getting the nod by decision 14- six professional records so far for the American in this one Charles Johnson uh was first made aware of this guy in LFA right he won a pretty big winning streak over there he won the championship defended it against Carlos Mota as well a guy who now again has made his way in the UFC to um winning that fight by fifth round TKO he got brought in to fight Mohamed mokave didn’t get finished by mokv but lost it by Decision One back-to-back fights against jugas jumag gulov did he win the fight uh and then beating uh Jimmy flick by knockout of the first round then lost three in a row to OD Osborne Cody Duran and Rafael estam and then his last fight of beting of course beating mosam by by uh unanimous decision he’s getting Jake cley here who I guess is somewhat of a I wouldn’t say a controversial guy but like you know some people like Hadley some people don’t right the guy’s got attitude I guess you would say Danel white I remember when he was making his way in the UFC said you know a lot of people in uh with the UFC brass didn’t like Jake Hadley but Hadley has been doing his thing as of late right other than the Lost Cody Duran right he won back back by prior to that beating Carlos Kario and Malcolm Gordon two good wins too right like two finishes in the five division is pretty solid beating candelario by triangle choke in the second round and then knocking out Malcolm X Gordon in the first round now Malcolm Gordon might be the worst UFC flyweight ever seriously he was horrible he lost to Jimmy flick and I don’t think Jimmy flick at this point of his career is very good either but Hadley beats Gordon looks good in the first round knockout right first round TKO hooked to the body wins the fight and then losing to Duran though in his last fight and that was a real step up for him right because Duron say what you want about him this is a guy who can go out there really set a pace with his wrestling he’s a tough guy to beat Hadley tried to defend a lot off his back by throwing up some missions it really didn’t work um and Duran was able to win the fight really just control Hadley on the ground he won every single round uh on that fight card I believe was at Nashville too uh Sagan yeah it was Sagen and font was the Nashville card um so now Hadley you know turns around to fight with Charles Johnson I think it’s a competitive fight on the feet right because this is probably where this fight is going to end up Hadley’s had to deal with this fair share of wrestler so far in the UFC but he’s more than willing to stand there and strike that’s usually what he wants to do and same could be said about Charles Johnson I mean a guy who has lost to Cody Duran as well a guy who has suffered you know vict has fell victim to the wrestling heavy approach from the American Cody Duran you’re going to see Johnson look to strike here with Hadley and I think Hadley’s going to be more than willing to engage in that as well I think that that it does make for an interesting standup fight I think Hadley does slightly get the better of Johnson I think um because of both the Striking game and again if the fight does hit the mat I think Hadley does have the advantage down there as well I know again Hadley has been beat on the ground just in his last fight but he’s got more skills on the ground than what Charles Johnson has and again Hadley you look back to a submission victory over Carlos candelario right that was candelario engaging in the grappling and Hadley was able to throw up the triangle off of his back um so we haven’t really seen necessarily Hadley be the one to engage wrestling so far in the UFC or grappling even though he does have that you know experience and you look at his record a lot of submission victories do have the UFC he hasn’t been the one to necessarily engage the wrestling so far in his UFC run I mean even when we look back in the contender Series right mitoso was engaging a lot with the wrestling in the first round he was the one who really started that fight in the grappling range and then of course Hadley started to take him down in the second and get the submission um but I don’t know if we’re going to see that instantaneous you know all right how’s going to jump and look to wrestling look to Grapple immediately in this fight or we’re going to see um you know this fight play out on the feet either way I do like Jake Hadley to win because again it’s a mixed martial arts fight I really think there’s more opportunities for Hadley to win than how Charles Johnson can win and Johnson’s been in so many close standups fights too ode Osborne’s won oday was even able to wrestle Charles Johnson well in that fight even the J Jula fight where like Johnson wasn’t able to pull away from jum Mula in that one it was a very competitive fight that he barely won the only time we’ve really seen him put a guy away was Jimmy flick but it was a fight where Jimmy flick couldn’t take Charles Johnson down and he looked like he was a step out the door of this in the with the sport and of course Charles Johnson’s going to knock him out in the first so I like Jake Hadley to go out here and get the victory I’m going to take him buy it decision um let’s go on to our next one here we will now go to a good fight here and I’m glad this fight did not find its way in the Apex because these are two guys who may not have the name recognition for se but two guys who have put together you know even though there’ve been short runs so far have put together a decent run of things between the contender Series in the UFC we’ve got Billy gof and Trey waters for Billy Goff right 1 and0 so far in the UFC but then the one win on the contender series as well and he was kind of gifted an opponent I’m not going to lie right beating yasu Kosh in his last fight Kosh was not the best UFC guy I don’t think he’s still with the promotion he’s 0 and2 actually know he is right who’s booked against Danny Barlo I don’t know if Kos is going to get another fight in the UFC but right Goff goes out there and just dominates dropped him drops him with the body punch in Singapore in August of last year wins the fight by first round finish before that picking up the win of the contender series winning the fight by knockout in the first and before that you know winning fights in CES he was the CES middleweight champion heading into the UFC and he’s taking on a guy you know who’s very good in his own right in a Waters now Waters did lose on the contender but he did win in LFA right before his run in the UFC he was the LFA Welterweight Champion beating Jaylen Fuller by second round TKO and then winning a big fight against Josh quinland in his last in his next one by unanimous decision completely shut down the game of quinland beat the guy to the punch every single time winning every round in that fight against quinland and it’s honestly not often you see the UFC put two guys like this together so early in both their careers um but we’re going to get a big time Prospect coming out of this one and I understand Trey Waters is 29 years old but you’re going to see someone really set themselves apart right here and look to be I wouldn’t say a top 15 guy right away but like again keep working their way up the weight class um for Billy Go 25 years old Waters 29 I’m excited for this one right because what we’ve seen out of Billy goof even outside the UFC nothing but finishes and again he was a guy who was started off in CES fought in cage Titan as Titans as well so obviously a guy up there in the Northeast um fighting out of Connecticut does Goff um he even has a fight in Bellator what in Bellator in 2020 over um who’ he beat he beat robs and Gracie Jr by TKO that car is M evented by Julian Vasquez and Alima McFarland but he’s been around go does have two losses they both though come in his third and fourth professional fight in 2019 so not too concerned with that Billy gof has been able to put guys away and for Trey Waters it’s been more of the same he’s been able to mix it up a lot with his grappling and his striking too he was not able to get the Finish against quinland which if you watch Josh quinland versus Danny Barlo that guy is tough to put away so I don’t really shame I don’t put too much on that on wi night being not being able to finish quinland um but I think this is a very competitive fight I think both these guys are going to be more than willing to engage in a really fun stylistic matchup um and again there’s a reason they put this one on a fight night with a crowd because someone’s likely getting finished and someone’s going to get so much hype off of this Victory and I think it’s going to be Billy gof I’m taking Billy gof to win the fight by first round knockout I’m sold on this guy again I understand Kenosha is not very good but look at the body of work that Go’s able to put together in four minutes in that fight how he’s able to work the body he’s able to work the head his striking looks very crisp in that fight Kenosha doesn’t hit him all that much in that fight as well and even when you look in the contender series as well putting together a nice victory in the first round I understand he gets dropped in that one but goof gets dropped comes back and still wins the fight you know he can deal with adversity as well I like Billy gof a lot in this fight I like him to win the fight by first round knockout he is going to be up and cominging prospect that is going to be very interesting to watch as we come to as we you know head through 2024 and on 2025 I want to see golf again this year preferably in front of a crowd again I think again Sky’s limit for this guy this guy’s really good at striking game is going to be um striking game is good and all so we’ll see and if he’s able to beat Trey Waters Another big victory I’m taking them as the underdog give me plus 135 uh Billy goof won the fight by knockout in the First on to our next one this is the one fight I don’t entirely know where it’s going to be on the card like there’s about order but tabat thei and Tisha Torres or Tisha Pennington now um I’m going to call her Tisha Torres just because that’s how I’ve called her for the last eight years um but don’t entirely know where this fight’s going to be I think it’s going to be on the main card but I’m just going to put it right here this might be before the main card starts like right now like where I’m putting it on the video I don’t know but here it is Tisha Torres taken on top of thei so Torres is coming off a fight that she lost to McKenzie dur she won the fight like you look go back and rewatch that she definitely beat Mackenzie Gore in that fight Gore is not able to take her down at Tish Torres um I think out strikes her in the first and third rounds I don’t think that’s too controversial of a take I believe the swing round that they do give Mackenzie dures the first I don’t see it um but Torres after that when had a kid of course with rayell Pennington um yeah and now she is back and she will be fighting tabichi tabichi 4-2 in the UFC losing her last fight to Lupita godz or lupy godz not a horrible loss now godz has lost to Vina jiova since which it is it is but RI before the godas fight was putting together a lot of Victories right she comes into the UFC fights Manan F on short notice what you going to do about it right like she loses the fight it’s fine it’s up a weight class no shame in that then comes back beats Spider Girl Mario olivetta beats paana via by decision she outg grapples via she submits Jessica pen kind of what pen does or tries to do to other people that’s the Richi did to her and then she beats Julian Robertson by taking Robertson Robertson down and winning the fight on the feed as well re’s good like if you could be Julian Robertson you are pretty solid Robertson’s been winning fights of late right I mean she’s coming off for win over vianna we’ll see her against Michelle Waterson Gomez on that Conor Chandler card I think she’ll beat Michelle Waton at this point in waterson’s career but anyways right Rei’s been stacking wins she lost a close fight to godas that I think godas should have got the nod in but now we’re going to get Tores and I say this every time a fighter is coming off of pregnancy and coming off of giving birth that’s you know it’s tough right like sure Juliana paa give credit to her came back after having a child and came back and won the World Championship and beat Amanda Nunes right and Juliana Peña is on I’d still say the best run of her career she’s likely fighting requell Pennington next I think they’re going to give her requell over Kayla Harrison but I have heard nothing by the way about the UFC’s bantamweight women’s bantamweight Division I know again Kay Harrison won but like we’ve heard nothing about the title talk since Pennington beat Myro buo Silva in January in Canada there’s been no discussion about that belt Juliana pñ tried to Hype up a fight between her and Pennington butel Pennington at least maybe I’m just not seeing it um which I guess maybe that’s the case because she’s not that marketable of a champion but there’s been nothing about Rell Pennington about her defending the championship since she won it in January I said she I I heard she wanted to take time off but like you had such a boring fight get in there and defend the belt because we need to get her and Pia done and then so Kayla Harrison can fight for the belt soon they might make Kayla Harrison fight like Katlin Vieira who knows or Alana I don’t know but anyways T Torres who happens to be married toquel Pennington um is coming off of that pregnancy right and you don’t know how a fighter is going to respond off that right so I think it’s difficult right and you know Tia Torres was you know she’s coming off of winning three out of four in her last four fights beating ban Vann then beating Sam Hughes and beating Angela Hill right like not the best names right Hughes and Brianna Vanier Angela Hill’s a good win before that she had a four fight losing streak but she fought some really tough outs Jessica and draj Y yon J Jang way Lee Marina Rodriguez I mean those are four tough fights in a row before that Michelle Waterson to when Michelle Warson was still in her prime as well like TJ T has fought some good Fighters she’s fought Carla sparza before um she’s fought rosam munas she’s fought Angela Hill twice she’s fought Rose twice actually too she fought Paige van St she beat her in Invicta back in uh 2013 right like TJ Tes has been around she’s been fighting good Fighters she’s 34 now but I just don’t know how she’s going to respond po post pregnancy and even if you take away the pregnancy too I would still take to with the ri I think RI is all around better than Tisha Torres I really like the game that REI has espe the ground game and also she’s able to strike too like all around top thei I think is the better fighter fighter than Tores um they are the same height they both of them are short for 115 right they’re both 5-1 T Torres is nickname the tiny tornado for a reason um but I do think tab thei is able to implement her game here I think she’s able to out strike Torres and primarily though where she’s probably going to go is is in the grappling realm I think she’s able to outg Grapple T Torres and do it pretty effectively in this fight um and again I just don’t know how we’re going to what what T Torres we’re going to see pregnancy but like I said earlier even if you take away the pregnancy I’d still take top at the ri because again tach T is coming off that layoff too so give me to of the REI to win the fight by unanimous decision to our next one oh man okay Terence mcken he is back and he’s taking on EST eston rebovich in this fight this is a good one because Terence mcken has struggled against Fighters that are UFC caliber since his win over Matt fola Terence mckin has struggled against higher level UFC names but he has you know picked up five wins in the UFC or most of his five wins against guys who are not UFC caliber I’m looking at Eric Gonzalez I’m looking at Mike Breeden and I’m looking at Brandon morat in his last fight and teren McKenna will go through those guys and completely dust them he’ll win he’ll win the fight by first round finish the problem is some of these other fights against guys who are UFC caliber and are tough outs isim sadikov okay is my bone theme tough name tough guy tough name I don’t know I’m recording this before UFC 301 so I I’m assuming bone theme beats Vince Pelle I mean he better he’s like a minus 600 favorite anyways mcken loses to Bon Drew Dober no shame in that he almost had Drew Dober in that fight too but still mckin has lost against these higher level guys and yes he beat fola he knocked him out in s seconds at UFC 263 it was a it was a crazy finish good for him um but mckin has struggled against some of these better guys Este bu is one in one in the UFC he’s got a loss to Lu radav by unanimous decision it’s a fight that he just gets outg grappled in but ribovich does drop him in the second round but Jaguar paw is able to do enough in the first and third round to win the fight then after that rovic fights camela Kirk and beats him by decision rovic is a primary Striker he’s looking to go out there and he’s looking to strike with you now both guys can grapple right Terence mckin does have his fair share of submission victories and estan ribovich has his fair share share of submission victories as well can mcken finally break through though against a guy who with all due respect to morat breeded in Gonzalez can he beat a guy that’s not 0 and3 in the UFC because that’s what mcken has been doing and that’s good that the UFC is doing that for him honestly like honest to God that’s good the UFC is doing that because mcken is a marketable guy he’s a guy that people do like he’s very active on social media um and he’s a you know semi well-known name so you want to keep him winning and you want to keep him in the UFC but this is again you’re going to put him on a card in front of in front of a crowd and you’re going to give him a somewhat tough opponent now mcken has had eight fights in the UFC rovic has only had two can he go out there and knock out Ian ribovich 100% he can can rebovich knock him out yeah mcken doesn’t have the best chin he doesn’t right Drew Dober was able to go in there and knock him down Bo fee knocked him out with the flying flying knee right we’ll see right and sov was able to go in there and submit him I don’t know if this one really goes into the grappling I think you’re going to see primarily a striking fight it’s going to be a car crash it really is it’s going to be you know this is going to be fun it’s going to be a you know an all action type of fight um I’m close to this one I’m really close because Terence McKenna he’s good but Kenny break through against a guy like rovic who you know look good in the camw like Kirk fight there I don’t think there’s going to be too much thread the grappling because I think mcken is going to respect enough of the grapple G AR rovic and he’s probably not even going to try it um we’re going to go with Terence mckenny we’re going to go with Terence mcken to win the five by first round knockout I think against someone’s getting knocked out and someone’s getting knocked out quick I think it’s going to be mcken I think it’s gonna be mckin getting the knockout um don’t get me wrong though the Argentinian could definitely win rebovich could 100% get this fight and I would not be surprised but I think mcken is able to Blitz him and now like the under of this fight will probably be like one and a half no probably be a half a round no probably be one round probably but like it’s going to this fight is not going to last very long it’s going to be a full out Sprint and someone’s going to get their head knocked off I think it’s going to be rebovich on the losing end of a knockout here Terrence T-Rex McKenna wins the fight by first round knockout give me the underdog picking a lot of dogs in this card don’t do this that often but I do like a lot of value here for The Underdogs and again I pick fights on primarily on who I think is going to win not based on value so I think a lot of The Underdogs have a good shot this week let’s go on to our next one here Chase Hooper taking on Slava V vishv uh borchev in this fight um this is good this is another good fight because Chase Hooper impressed me a lot in his last fight the win over Jordan levit I picked levit to win full transparency I picked levit to go out there and beat him it obviously did not happen but the dream the Teenage Dream is back in Chase Hooper and I think it’s something that we have to say Chase Hooper is only 24 years old and is still actively getting better in the sport he is a guy who is continuously going to get better and and I think again we looked at some of his early performances in the UFC and given they weren’t very good right the cera’s loss wasn’t great the Steven Peterson lost shouldn’t have lost to Stephen Ojo Peterson but he did Steve Garcia he got knocked out the guy was still incredibly young at that point in time he’s still getting older like right Chase Hooper fights at 155 pounds he’s probably gonna be fighting at 170 pounds when his career is over he’s still you know developing as a human being in general right he started in the sport started in the UFC at such a young age now you get him and borchev this is a good test it’s another step up in competition because Hooper right he saw that step up somewhat I guess in the Steve Garcia fight even though I thought that was a very winable fight for him he looked good in the nick the Nick Fior fight excuse me and then beat Jordan levit looked good in doing so right got lit down and submitted him with that rear naked choke looked really good the Nick Fior fight like yeah Hooper’s turning a corner here I thought he really turned the corner after the win over Felipe karz I get karz is not is not the best guy but he was able to go in there blit karz get the finish in the third round I was like all right he should be able to go out there and beat Steve Garcia he didn’t Garcia beat him in the first um but since then right Hooper with back-to-back wins and I’m kind of back on the hype train again but Bev’s good right borchev is good I did not think he was going to beat sadikov nor less have a you know a draw he was able to go out there put on the fight of the night he got dropped in that fight for sa but saakov kept pushing forward and really look good in that third round right I was mad that sikov I you know I had some money on sov uh I had him winning the first and second rounds right I’m thinking okay just got to survive that third while he gets dropped or he doesn’t get dropped he just gets completely dominated just almost dead to rights in that third round and of course saakov gets the you know gets the draw on the scorecards after that and for Bor Chev he’s lost three out of four still right or sorry he he hasn’t won in three out of four with the draw uh went over mahash who didn’t look good in his last fight he won mahash won he beat um he beat uh gabri bonitz but it wasn’t a great win and Sala Claus drops m three times in that one I don’t think Mah’s all that great I think he’s probably going to lose his next fight no matter who he fights um before for borf they gave him two tough for opponents they gave him markk deey Dey has kind of grounded him and they gave him Mike Davis as well and Davis grounded him how do you beat Slava Claus you take him down right like yeah sikov saw a saw a lot of success striking with borchev right he saw a lot of success in doing so um by the way and also I I butchered that SS won the first round and won the third uh s got the 108 in the second round which what pissed me off fight was that sakov had him dead to rights in the second and I completely mixed up the fight in my head but uh sakov had him dead to rights in the second round should have been able to go out there and just continue to do the same thing in the third round win the fight didn’t right so sakov got the 10 a in the second and then the to one and three or won by slavov so excuse me for that wrong interpretation of the fight but still the way you beat borchev is by taking him down now sakov didn’t do that he did he took him down a little bit but that’s not how he was all that effective in that fight how you were supposed to be and how you often do be borchev is by taking him down push took him down twice obviously didn’t get the win but still tried to take him down end up getting knocked out okay borf wins Mark D Casey took him down 11 times Mike Davis took him down nine times that how you beat Savas how does Chase Hooper fight he’s a primary Grappler he’s a very good Jiu-Jitsu player if his wrestling keeps on evolving he’s going to be good can chase Hooper take Slava Claus down that’s the question of the fight because if he can take Slava Claus down I think he wins truly I think Chase super beats borchev if he can take him down if he can’t obviously he’s going to lose the fight because I think borchev will out strike him um again it’s it’s undeniable that Hooper’s got good Jiu-Jitsu and he’s very well trained and well skilled on the ground the problem that a lot of these Jiu-Jitsu guys find themselves in is with they’re wrestling I did all the time with McKenzie D even with Brian Ortega if these guys had you know I don’t know kobby Covington kamaro Usman aljamain Sterling type wrestling even Bo nickel type wrestling right that would be ideal right but if you have like one of those guys wrestling skill sets these guys would be world champions but I’m not saying Chase would be a world champion but I’m saying with MacKenzie der and Brian ort right they would be I I believe that if Brian Orga and Mackenzie dur could wrestle on the level of hell even just Alain Sterling or Mor Robs a stretch because I mean obviously you’d hope to wrestle like morab but even like a guy like aljo right that’s what aljo is so good at aljo is like Brian Ortega to a certain extent he’s got really good Jiu-Jitsu but aljo can also wrestle too and yes his striking is getting better as his career has progressed but that’s why aljo is so successful in this point of his career is that Alo is such a good wrestler and once he gets to the ground oh yeah Jiu-Jitsu is even better right so that’s what Chase Hooper needs to I guess accomplish actually Chase Hooper just did do a grappling match against Alaine Sterling he lost but still if Chase Hooper can really get the wrestling going as his career goes on he’s going to be dangerous can he take down borchev I’m gonna say yes and if he can take down borf he should be able to win I’m actually taking Chase super to go out here and submit Slava Claus I’m taking Chase super by second round submission I never feel great taking Chase super but I’m going to do it taking Chase super to win the fight by second round sub that’s how you beat Bev is by taking him down Chase Hooper has the blueprint and what does he excel in doing so exactly the blueprint to beat borchev I think I think it makes sense I’m taking Chase Hooper to win the fight by second round submission let’s go on to our next one here I’m pumped for this Waldo Cortez aosta taking on Roman to Spain I’m surprised to Spain’s on a fight night I thought they were going to keep him on pay-per-views or at least on pay-per-view prelims but I’m not complain in him and wo Cortez AOS is a really good fight and wo Cortez AOS is 11- one I’ve picked this guy in every single fight he has had dating back to 2021 so I’ve taken this guy nine times in his last nine fights dating back to his Bellator and LFA fights um yeah I’ve taken W Cortez a Costa a lot I’ll keep it honest with you I’m not picking him here I’m taking Robles to Spain to win the fight by first round knockout now we are going to find out though truly how good Robles dispan is with this fight you can beat Josh pan Josh pan is not the greatest W Cortez a Costa is not an elite level striker in the UFC but he’s a good Striker he is a decent enough top 20ish top 25ish heavyweight in the UFC this is the Step Up For robless to Spain and I know the UFC is going to try to do this because they do this sometimes with the kickboxers that have a lot of hype if he can beat wo Cortez a Costa then he’s going to get a top 15 name next now looking at the rankings who is the ideal guy that he can fight in the top 15 because they try to do this with CZ Costa so they gave him Del Lima and he lost but who is the guy the top 15 that will strike with Robo to Spain and not take him down and just Spain can knock him out taiu iasa I’m serious that’s the fight I want to see next for Rob Spain I understand taiu vas has lost three in a row four in a row well give him an unranked guy he can go fight down the rankings they’re not going to cut taiu vas if he loses to Roo to Spain if you lose the Robos to Spain throw him out there against Andre Arlovski you can go knock him out in the first round or you can go knock out Josh P’s out of the UFC I think now but like he can knock out Parker Porter in the first round or he can fight one of those guys right he can actually I wouldn’t give him Carl Williams U but like right you can beat an unranked guy can keep in the UFC I want to see robo’s Spain fight taiu Vasa next now first off how does Robos Spain beat Waldo ctez a Costa well he just has to do what he does every single fight he just find quick Knockouts because like the guy in his last okay in his entire professional MMA career he’s fought five times all of those fight times equate for less than 6 seconds 6 minutes 6 seconds would be crazy equate for less than six minutes you take away his first fight in Titan FC in 2022 his last four fights okay four out of five in his entire career his last four fights have a combined time if I can do math real quick of 37 seconds and four fights it’s a 12C knockout in Fury FC in 2023 it’s a 3 second knockout in Fury FC in 2023 as well another one in Fury to close the year in 4 seconds and then 18 seconds knock out of Josh pan if he knocks out Waldo Cortez a Costa who is a true UFC heavyweight who has wins under his belt who is 4- one in the UFC Roz to Spain if you can do it in less than a minute to all the hype goes to this guy and again yes he should be fighting in a main event next against taiu iasa I don’t care toas lost four in a row put that card they’re not going to go to Cuba put that card in Australia on a fight night let Des Spain go or they could probably actually do this on the main card of uh the one with Izzy and dupy later in the year let desp and tuos to be the co-main event oh yeah or featured fight on the card yeah let’s test this guy let’s see if he can beat Tai tuvasa which I think he probably would I think Tu vas’s Lin sanity run is kind of over at this point but still right to Spain and Cordes a Costa Waldo’s good Waldo’s won four fights in the UFC now they’re against Jared Vander Chase Sherman Lucas breedy and Andre Arlovski right like okay they’re not great guys right breki just came off win over Walter Walker and Walker sucks he does I’ll just be honest with you Cortez’s power but primarily he’s going to go in there look to out point you right outside the UFC and even on the contender raldo Cortez a Costa was a guy who would go up there and really try to knock you out he had heavy hands you know they always say he’s got a fast ball because always used to play baseball in the the Dominican Republic they’ll say that a million times um but he’s got power he’s 6’4 he’s huge but primarily he has looked to just out Point guys recently but he is going to look somewhat small in comparison to the 67 robes despain in this fight I think despain’s got more power I think even in a technical kickboxing fight to Spain can still beat him don’t forget this guy is a very highly skilled kickboxer I’m taking robis to Spain to beat wo Cortez a Costa I want to see him in the top 15 and I want to see him against Tai tuivasa next if you don’t want to do taiu iasa you could do jaro Rosen strike I think that’s a much tougher fight for him you can even do the winner in the main event I don’t know but again I think they’re going to try to give despain the right guys so they can keep him in the rank and they’re going to test him against top Strikers they’re not going to give him Romanov they will not give him Jake Thoma they will not give him Ser Serge spitback they probably won’t even give him marcine tyor they’ll give him this is the UFC’s path to despain for despain to get to the belt right I’m not saying despain’s GNA be a world champion but ideally for the UFC if they want despain to ever fight for the belt this is what they’re going to do despain going to win against C zosta he’ll win against taiu iasa then they book him against Sergey pavlovich pavic not gonna wrestle him so you see and they assuming pvic beats vov then you see again who your next striking Contender is going to be if despain’s all that he should go out there and he should at least remain competitive with pavlovich we’ll see if he can take a punch but that should seriously that’s the pathway for despain and like again you call me crazy but this is exactly what they do with Alex petta they they Skyrocket him off of you know I’m not completely comparing to to Pereira but seriously there are some comparisons right first fight UFC wins by knockout that’s what perea did against melus it was a guy who’s not very good right mcus wasn’t very good uh pan is not very good okay the Spain second fight gets um Cortez a Costa well Pereira fought Bruno Silva who was a guy who had who had notched a lot of wins in the UFC early I think he was like around 4- one kind of like where Cortez a Costa is okay boom you win that fight then you get a guy in the rankings they gave perea um Sean Strickland I don’t think just Spain has that level of height because obviously he didn’t beat the champion like Pereira beat out aanna but still you give him a guy in the rankings to iasa and for Pereira then he got the championship fight well then I think despain’s one away give him pavlovich and then from there can he fight for the ball I don’t know another good shout him and S would be really interesting again though he has to beat cardz a Costa all this hype could be squashed right away I think despain wins the fight I’m excited for this guy he’s 35 if there’s ever going to be a run for the belt it’s going to be right now keep him away from the wrestlers robz to Spain wins by first run knockout to our next one Alex Ceres takes on Shawn Woodson obviously Ceres has been around for forever this is a guy who has fought a million different names um and you look at the record right it’s not pretty at all it’s 21 and 14 and sha Woodson poses an 11 and one in one record and I’ve always been down on Shan Woods Sean Woodson I’ll be honest with you since his lost to Julian aosa he took on aosa on short notice in 2020 he was a big favorite and he lost since then though Woodson has not lost a fight he’s got one draw but Woodson has not lost since that initial loss in his career and only loss in his career to juj back in the summer of 2020 right so wi over youf Z by Split Decision the fight was horrible but he won okay he beats Colin England by first round knockout he’s got the draw against Luis Alona he’s got the win of jnis uh bazooka by unanimous decision in Tennessee and then the win over Charles Jordan by Split Decision uh on UFC 297 on that stricklin at dup C card Woodson’s putting been putting together victories he will now get Alex Ceres C is you know he’s been hanging around the top 15 he has he beat you know Daniel Pena he beat Julian Arosa he knocked him out he beat sunu Troy by submission yeah he lost to yusf yeah he lost to G Chad but Alex caceras is never going to make a run to the championship he’s never going to make a run probably within the top 10 right this is not what Alex caceras is he is the gate he is the gatekeeper into the top 15 though because I think what he is ranked number 15 I think 15 14 um oh he’s unranked now with Diego Lopez in the rankings isn’t he okay ideally though like seriously Alex CER is number 16 he should be yeah because sod gusev is 15 he should be 16 Ceres is the number 16 guy in the weight class um and again when you see him fight up the rankings like against usev like against kakad is’s likely not going to win but he’s been turning away some of these guys who are get our borderline top 15 guys like Pana like sunu Choy like Arosa and he’s been winning those fights and he’s been getting finishes in those fight fights as well except for the panana fight but still that fight was pretty good it was a fight of the night um now you get him against Shawn Woodson and they’re almost like they’re they’re kind of similar in at least their builds like Woodson’s just a bigger version of Alex casseres seriously and Woodson has sneaky power his striking is evolving and he’s again he’s pretty solid and I’m kind of willing to somewhat jump back on the Sha Woodson hype train not entirely not entirely but I was very down in this guy after his lost to orosa given I’ve only picked against him once since the lost to orosa it was the fight against Charles Jordon where he won it um but I am somewhat willing to get back on the Shawn Woodson hype train and I can’t believe I’m doing this but I’m taking him to pick I’m taking him to win against Alex caceras and I know he’s a favorite but I’ve always been a big Alex caceras fan I’ve picked caceras a lot even though like some of his fights against chazi and Arosa um or sorry chazi and YF I’ve been a realist about things and picked against him gonna pick against caceras here I’m going to take sha Woodson to win the fight by decision I think it’s a good technical striking fight I think both these guys are going to have their moments in the feet but I just think as a whole Woodson is the better Striker um yeah casseras might be able to catch him I think the power Advantage definitely goes with him maybe casseras does catch him but I think Woodson does do a good enough job to go out there and outpoint uh caceras he’s got a big reach advantage in this fight with some which is something that casseras really doesn’t see all that often right Woodson’s gonna have a five in reach advantage or sorry yeah five inch reach advantage in this fight um which is pretty sizable I think Woodson wins he us his kicks effectively and Shan Woodson you know might be fighting for a ranking very soon um Woodson at 31 years old um training out of St Louis it’s a home fight for him I think he does go out there and win the fight can be Shawn Woodson by unanimous decision on our next fight here between Carlos Diego fetta and uh mat recki here recki is a pretty sizable favorite in this fight I get it for good reason right Carls deaa 18-5 professional record is coming off of that really nice knockout Victory where he knocked Michael Johnson out stiff um but he gets a tough out here imas from Becky here this is rebeck’s fight into the top 15 I don’t think Diego fetta is still ranked I don’t think he is um but this is the fight that’s going to kind of get rcky you know towards the towards the the rankings very soon right this is a guy who was 19-1 professionally he was on a huge winning streak going going into the UFC still is on a big winning streak he has not lost since 2014 his only loss he’s got a win outside the UFC um over or excuse me no he’s got um you got to win in the contender series and came into the UFC and won three in a row over against Nick Fior Lu Rod Zab and roselt Roberts it always stps me up every single time I see rebecky and he fights maged magedov I’m always thinking oh okay that maged magedov no he fought a different maged magedov because it’s a million uh maged magedov anyways um recky right three fight winning streak He’s Got The Knockout one over over radinov uh rodov and then a armar victory in his last win over Roosevelt Roberts he can get it done anywhere he can get it done on the feed he can get it on the ground as well all around very good fighter 31 years old coming in from Poland um it’s a tough fight for Carlos Diego fetta it’s a tough fight um rebecky will see himself a little under sized in the weight class 155 lbs but he’s so strong this a guy who’s so physically you know built um where it doesn’t really matter that he gives up size a lot but this is a fight where he’s not even going to give up any size against CDF here Diego fetta and fetta is getting up there in age right he is 39 years old how many shots to the chin can one take at this point of his career right he was on a three-fight losing skid up until the Michael Johnson fight losing to benil daru losing to Gregor lesbian losing to Matas gamrot and that was coming off his biggest win of his career he goes in there and submits Anthony Pettis in the second round on a Conor McGregor main card of a pay-per-view and then had hadn’t win a fight in three straight years right losing three straight fights to gamr gespi and derush given three very good guys but wasn’t really able to capitalize on that momentum that he built in the Anthony Pettis fight and now here he is he’s kind of being used as the stepping stone against Matas rcky here unfortunately that’s kind of what this is here right now for Diego fetta right he was he was TKO twice in the span of two fights against Gillespie where Gillespie finished him on the ground uh Gillespie just wore him out in that fight Gillespie won that one in 2021 and has not been seen since and then after that right gamra It’s the weird it’s the knee to the back just messes up Diego fetta and gamrot picks up the victory that’s kind of part of what people will point at of gam rat’s you know spell of luck going through his UFC run if you look at the pH knee break you look at the win over siron with the close score cards I don’t know but anyways and he beat Rafael danas in his last fight good for him we’ll see what gam Rock ISS next um maybe suuki in a title Eliminator maybe I don’t know I think sur’s just going to get the title shot next but who knows I think it’s a fight that San can definitely win in a rematch um but anyways Diego feda was finished twice in those fights in the feat he got knocked up at EST porier back in 2015 the fight that he was a slight Underdog in um so like Diego has been chin before but at 39 years old how many shots can you truly take rebecky does hit very hard I don’t know if he’s gonna be all that you know I I don’t think he’ll be willing but I don’t know if he’s gonna be all that you know excited to get this one down on the ground even though it’s very doable you know matus gam was able to control de ahead on the ground as well I think rebeck is GNA strike with him and I think he’s goingon to knock him out I’m taking Matas for rebecky to get the win by first round knock out I don’t think this one’s all that close um just because again rebeck is much younger um he’s not all that under sized in this fight yes Diego fad has an 8 inch reach Advantage but I think reck is able to close distance get on the inside and fire off big shots and knock out Diego FAA give me Becky to win the fight and really going establish himself as one of the better guys in this UFC’s lightweight division we’ll see what he gets next um maybe a fight in the rankings we’ll see 155 is pretty good um who knows give me him and Ben benois s that’s not a bad fight you know maybe Jaylen Turner honestly I wouldn’t mind Jaylen Turner fight after Turner just lost to moano we’ll see but give me rcky to win the fight by first round knockout we go on to our next one here in the light heavyweight division Alonzo menifield versus Carlos olberg this is a good fight olberg has been on a roll since that first loss of Kennedy and in zuku in his first fight in the UFC he has won five straight he was booked twice against Dominic Reyes one time Reyes withdrew the other time orberg withdrew and he was initially booked against Medfield on that fight night card in Atlantic City has been moved to this card instead he gets Alonzo manafield again the fight is finally happening here it’s a good fight because olberg you know the the kickboxing skill he’s a tremendous standup fighter he’s a guy that’s going to give a lot of Fighters problems and this is his chance to get into the rankings right like again metafields ranked at 11 a lot of these fights are opportunities for some of these guys outside the rankings to finally break in we’re going to see it in our next fight as well with Rus boev and even the main event to a certain extent too right Nasim Mento can really establish himself as a top 15 guy if he’s able to go out there and beat Derrick Lewis hell everyone who’s ever beat Derrick Lewis does really establish themselves into being a top 15 guy in the weight class um so for olberg a huge opportunity against against Alonzo manafield but Alonzo Manfield 83 and one in the UFC this guy’s really put it together so far he picked up a nice win over Justin jacobe in his last one winning the fight by unanimous decision but I do worry a little bit for Manfield yes he was able to go out there and outp point jacobe he was able to go out there win the third round win the second round but he did get hit a lot by jacobe if you get get hit that much by Dustin jacobe who’s a good kickboxer in his own right former glory kickboxer sure but if you get hit that much by jacobe Carl’s orberg if orberg hits that much will you still be on your feet that’s the question orberg does struggle a little bit the wrestling because again he’s a primary kickboxer sure he’s been good defensively so far in the UFC but he has not taken on a you know an elite wrestler just yet I wouldn’t call Alonzo Medfield you know an elite wrestler but he can do it we’ll see you know we’ll see what happens but I don’t think it’s the point where we should be too turned away from picking olberg because of the wrestling game of Mena field I don’t think it’s that important in this fight I think it’s important but I don’t think it’s that consequential to who wins this fight right so forberg again you’re going to see him use his reach you’re going to see him use his range and the power as well he’s got a lot of kicks got a lot of different attacks he’s a very Dynamic Striker but again Alonzo metafield is pretty huge too actually there is not going to be that much of a reach Advantage forberg despite the 4 inch uh height advantage in this fight olberg is 64 Manfield 6 feet tallberg going to see you know one or two inch reach advantage in this fight give or take um but you got two very good kickboxers in in this fight right Manfield has really pieced it together as of late um he’s got that winner Jimmy CR where he submitted him in the second round he’s got the winner J jacobe by decision he knocked out Mesa cenov in that fight in 2022 by knockout of the first he fought the fraud Ukrainian guy ascar Mo mozar the guy who at the beginning of the week had a professional MMA record of like what 30 and two and then it turned out to be 17 and 13 so we had the fight and then he got cut from the UFC there’s a there’s a bunch of videos on the internet about that I me if you don’t know about that situation you know just watch some videos it’s really interesting the entire thing it’s kind of stupid um but benfield’s able to beat mazov and he beat Misha zenov after that by knockout we’ll see him against car Carlos orberg I like the New Zealander and the city kickboxing fighter here in Carlos orberg to win the fight because of the damage he’s able to do on the feet all around I think he’s just better than menafield striking wise um and again Carlos olberg after that first performance really starting to put it put it together in his UFC run I think again you see an impressive finish out of olberg I think you see a first round knockout here um again Medfield is no spring chicken either he’s 36 years old wiberg’s 33 I think olberg gets the finish in the first round by knockout and now again put him in the rankings and see what happens right there are guys that obber can fight let’s get away from that Dominic Reyes fight we can see him and Anthony Smith you know if you want to see two you know kind of up and cominging guys the to the rankings okay I I don’t know what happens with Anthony Smith and VOR patrino I’m going to assume VOR patrin excuse me VTO patrino beat Anthony Smith do VTO patrino and uh calll zberg that’s not a horrible fight honestly um but I think Goldberg beats metfield I think he finds the chin wins the fight by first round knockout against a guy who’s only been finished once in the feet ENT St PR did it olberg will definitely be able to do it as well men Field’s there to be hit olberg will hit him I think oldberg wins the fight by first round knockout to our next one in the co-main event an interesting fight here between new Mana St Louis Z own waim Buckley and neston Rus coming out of usbekistan I don’t know if rbv I mean I guess he can but he’s going to fight at 170 here I don’t know about that he’s 6’5 come down 170 pounds um because this is a guy who I believe yeah fought 195 outside of the UFC I don’t know if he’s ever fought 170 he’s fought catchweight 175 but truly I don’t okay he’s fought 170 last fight 170 was in 2021 against Max seem Soka where he won by first round submission last time he’s fought at 170 he has done it but is that really where he’s best I I don’t know right like it’s interesting it’s interesting that he’s going down 170 pounds here um he’s jumping on the opportunity Buckley was campaigning for the main event spot in St Louis he didn’t get the main event he got the co-main event instead which is fine I think it’s you know it’s fine to keep Lewis in the main event even though well I don’t think this fight’s going to go five rounds either but you know it’s it’s interesting right that this is the com event it’s cool though good for buck Le gets to fight in front Buckley they’re both 30 they both just fought in Atlantic City I understand Rusev’s last fight okay yes he pokes sedz Dumas in the eye and then he finishes him with an uppercut okay it is what it is he was probably going to be Dumas anyway you look at his win of a Bruno fetta where he knocks him out the first round you realize okay yes Rus Bev is legit this a guy who’s been around he’s got a very good striking game and he can also grapple as well that’s something that might give Buckley some problems you know that’s imav was able to you know give Buckley a little bit of trouble in their grappling in the grappling exchanges they had in Paris France um believe that was a co- man event as well but Buckley is not unbeatable in the feat yes he’s coming off a winner vente luk where luk looked God aful in that fight I don’t know what luk was doing maybe all that damage has finally caught up to Vicente luk let’s just be honest I think it has Buckley’s very beatable though Chris Curtis was able to solve the puzzle and knock him out find that big punch and knock him out in the second round iMat was able to beat him Buckley has turned away hype trains before though look at the Albert Dura fight right in front of a crowd I believe it was the com- event was able to finish dorv he got the doctor stopage at the end of the second round look at his wins after Curtis win over Foo or falo a win over morona by decision a win over vente luk we’ll see what we get here in the rusbe up fight but the vente luk fight was so weird yes Buckley was beating to the punch every single time on the feet but the fight ends because luk pulls guard and then Buckley just you know ground and pounds him out to a victory it’s a weird you know it’s just a weird allaround ending to that fight but now you get ruse boev who’s huge he’s 65 Buckley’s 510 man oh man they don’t have an exact reach on Rus boev oh no they do okay so rusbe and Buckley are going have the same reach I think going into this fight about the same I don’t know that rusbe have so much taller like Buckley is going to be punching up this entire fight right Buckley is seven in shorter than rusb this with this fight but what Rus boy have do we get at 170 pounds that’s what makes this fight so intriguing and makes it so difficult to pick truly I think this is a very good one here I’m taking the usbekistan fighter though fighting out of Philadelphia give me nlon rusb have to win the fight I’m taking him by first round knockout someone’s going out and someone’s going out quickly but I think rusbe have wins in the road here I think he disappoint the hometown crowd cuz people are going to be pumped for Buckley going in this fight Buckley’s been this is okay through Buckley’s career sh he seen his amount of hype right after the big win over kangai this is the most hype though Buckley has ever had going into this fight he’s coming off win over a perennial top 15 guy in V top 10 guy in vente luk he’s finally in the rankings and I think he’s going to get turned away here though I think Rus bab’s going to beat him I think R have wins and enters the rankings now Buckley’s going to lose his ranking Rus is probably going to be number 10 ranked in the division I don’t know who he gets next Stephen Thompson kind of feels like a fight that they probably do I wouldn’t mind seeing Shawn Brady I wouldn’t mind seeing Jeff Neil I wouldn’t even mind seeing you know the ultimate test if you’re a top 10 top 10 fighter or not give him the gatekeeper Neil Magny seriously like right I wouldn’t would not mind seeing Rus have fight these type of guys he’s got a very tough out though here in Buckley I think rosv striking is too good I think he’s got a better striking game than Buckley yes I do think he does and if the fight needs to hit the M I think rusby have Beats him down there as well we are picking yet another Underdog on this card I’m taking nuren rusbe have to win the fight by first round knockout against the hometown favorite in Buckley as we go on to the main event we have Derek Lewis the black beast returns to take on Rodrigo naso I can’t believe this is a main event fight it does not feel like a main event fight because who is Rodrigo Nazi Mento coming off of a victory over Dantel may I said this a couple weeks ago when Dantel May was about to fight um God oh my God who did you just fight he fought KY Machado right he beat K Machado we got that one right by decision right on the dot but anyways we I was saying that going into the Machado fight with DanTM okay he just lost to Rodrigo nento if he beat Rodrigo nento would this fight card seriously be Derrick Lewis versus Dantel am the main event it probably would have been I’m serious that’s probably what the fight would have been but now we get Derrick Lewis and Rodrigo naso who naso is 4- one in the UFC okay he is um right he has a win two wins of ronto May which is weird out of his four um he’s got the loss to K to Chris dacas which I know Chris dacas went on his big run and now he’s you know not even in the UFC anymore I don’t think is he no he’s definitely not in the UFC um I know again do his run but dacas was able to close distance really quickly Blitz Nasim Mento drop him twice in the span of 40 seconds and knock him out I get Derrick Lewis can really lose to and beat almost everyone in the top 15 but I really don’t think Derek loses Derek Lewis Excuse Me loses to Rodrigo naso I I’m sorry I don’t see it I understand Derrick Lewis has lost four out of five but when you give him these lower level guys like Chris doas in a main event like Marcos Rodrigo Del Lima on the main card of UFC 291 in Salt Lake City he tends to beat these guys and he did better than I thought he was going to do against Jon Almeida obviously almea was able just to lay on him for 25 minutes but he did better than I thought he was going to do and when you look at some of these other fights right he’s just fighting tough guys tuivasa can also win and lose to a lot of guys in the top 15 Sergey pvic top five guy Sergey spivac top seven guy he’s fighting top Guy s Gan top three fighter in the division Derrick Lewis is always been fighting these top fighters now again I’m still mad he fought cidan I wish he went and fought Francis andu and waited and said no to the interim title fight after he beat Curtis blades but it is what it is Derrick Lewis gets Rodrigo naso now I understand Lewis is on the tail end of his career he’s what 39 years old now he’s not the same guy he used to be he still does hold all those Knockouts though in the UFC and he’s got 14 of them I think he’s going to get 15 here I think he knocks out rodri goas Mento in the first round I think naso is simply I I just think he’s he’s too skillfully overwhelmed in this fight I don’t think he’s going to be able to successfully go to the well a million times in terms of the wrestling and now if he does go to the well wrestling early I don’t think he’s able to finish Lewis down there I don’t like Nai men’s ground game that much to the point where he’s just able to you know jump on a back and get a submission he’s only done it once so far in the UFC right technically has five wins if you count the lambo win but the lambo win got overturned is what it is um but I don’t like him to that extent and I’ve seen naso go out here and get out stried before he barely got by a latifi right he was losing to Tanner Boer you can make the case Tanner Bozer beat him in the standup game Alano is beating naso before naso Got The Knockout dant May’s fight with naso the last timeon is very close in Brazil you look at the the numbers for that fight you really go watch that fight back could you give two and three to play to not ples to Maize I don’t know the second round is where you give the the swing to nento that’s why I think nento does get the victory personally but it’s a close fight that maze might you know it’s a very close fight and Maze does pull away in the Third how is Nasi meno going to be in a five round environment like with Derrick Lewis you know he doesn’t have the best cardio but you know Derrick Lewis can always pull that big punch out of his ass when he needs it like even if he’s deep in the fight primary example the volov fight right he’s losing the first 14 and a half minutes of that fight there was a big overhand right knocks him out Lewis’s power is always there will Nasim Mento start to deteriorate as the fight goes on I don’t know personally though I don’t think we’re going to need to see that because I think the fight ends pretty quickly Derek Lewis wins the fight by first round knockout I don’t think he gets very far okay naso has not been in there with someone who can hit as hard as Derrick Lewis he has not seen this level of power before Derrick Lewis sure is he not you know the top of the of the division anymore no but Derrick Lewis is still good enough to beat a guy like Nasim Mento it reminds me of the Dilemma fight he’s going to go out there and pick up a very quick knockout because I just don’t think rodri go naso is in the same same you know level as Derrick Lewis as a whole give me Derrick Lewis to win he’s ranked number 12 I don’t really know where he goes in the rankings from here honestly he probably sits at number 12 the fight that is just staring at the UFC that has never happened before that they can still make is Derrick Lewis jerso Rosen stri it’s a fight that you feel like has happened before in a main event of the Apex it hasn’t what are we doing these guys have been around for forever in the top 15 it’s a fight that’s never happened before and it should happen seriously where does Lewis go other than a win of a ren strike or sorry win over after the win over n Mento other than a fight against Ren strike not a tuivasa rematch not a spivi rematch tabar rematch maybe Jaa rematch no vov rematch no beds rematch no pvic rematch no gone rematch no I’m just saying that because he’s fought everybody Del Li rematch know the fight to make is Rosen stri I think they should do it they should do in Main Event somewhere they can fill out an arena in Seattle Washington with derri go to Texas actually Louis sucks in Texas don’t do that put in Oklahoma City Derek Lewis jar Rosen St late summer Lewis is not going to take damage in this fight he’s gonna win Rosen stri coming off a win over Gaz or H yeah so do that fight next I think Lewis though beats Nasim Mento I just think he’s so much better and Nasim Mento has not seen anybody on the power level of Lewis and I don’t think he’s able to go out there and just submit him right away I saw Derrick Lewis fight decently enough on his back and on the ground against gon ala nazio is not going to smoke him on the
