the 48 girls golf state championships got underway today we begin with Carson Hulen of cheyen mountain it’s pretty good putt uphill here she puts it close to the jar nicely done there and then one of her playing Partners today auriana ellus of Canyon City drops that short putt she had a pretty good day and then Isabelle verusso of shyen mountain just off the green she’s going to chip it on it was tough conditions it was really windy today for day one no birdie here but she almost got some geese Sophia contr of pble central nice putt she shot 75 today currently in second place after day one and then Dana colinger of Falcon nice up here the State Golf Tournament will continue tomorrow and before we leave I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to Vista Rich high school they came to our station today and they gave me this beautiful plaque with the Vista Ridge letters and all their pins and I don’t didn’t deserve it but I sincerely appreciate their gratitude towards me I want to thank Elizabeth vill the Moore family my main man Evan coach trius the cheer squad and everybody involved at vist Ridge High School aw I know they they brought Donuts but I wasn’t allowed to have them they told me I could only eat vegetables but I’ve had two already Rob thank you guys I’m glad you had them but thank you vist Ridge sincerely appreciate it I thank you for those stories that you’ve done with Evan there on the team a remarkable young man his family and his mom Tammy is the best yes his mom tamy the coaches oh my goodness it’s a great school and uh thank you really special stuff it was really sweet they even put the confetti off in our studio or our news room today Rob Rob’s hair was covered yeah so awesome thank you that was cool uh last look at weather with Rachel well we do have a severe thunderstorm warning for Northeastern Colorado is the same cell that I showed you
