Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.

The 2024 PGA Championship is set to take place between 13-19 May at Valhalla Golf Club. The reigning champion is Brooks Koepka.

the tea at number eight Sebastian Soderberg Swedish Pros making his second ever start in a major and playing very very well doesn’t get much better than that an ace at the eight and Soderberg is even par for the championship and very quickly to two under on his round that’s certainly worth another look one h a little cut Spin and it’s in the high FES all around this is going to land beyond the hole we’ll need some spin there’s the spin there you go that’s a must here at 16 po was playing long and will all week terrific shot for Xander shley this is always just so fun to you get such good laws the ball sits up it’s uh it’s a joy to chip off putt for Luke D who has played a solid round of golf look out yes in the first group out this morning back one to S that’s the third shot to Shambo birdie on this week this from 20 7 ft got the speed oh yeah found the cup ideal start for shley on what is the toughest hole on the golf course so far [Music] [Applause] today here’s Lowry playing his second at the 14th come on now little bit fortunate for Shane that had some speed on [Applause] it know there’s lots of birdies out there guys like this never know what might happen col potterer to Shambo off the edge I watched him do this a lot on Monday Frank which is very surprising looks like knows what he’s doing though we saw that on 18 is it that is making a move three from nowhere Frank
