When our trail shoulder works up and over in the downswing versus down and under, we lose speed and are unable to “launch” the ball up into the air.
In the golf swing this motion almost always causes an excessive left to right ball flight or slice, making it very difficult to score consistently well.
To counteract this, we recommend you put the golf club away, grab a ball, and throw it like you would skip a stone across a lake.
You will immediately notice the difference in how your trail shoulder moves. Then take this motion into your practice swing and eventually hitting a ball.
You will notice increased distance, better contact and less left to right spin!

  1. Absolutely vital that you don't roll the face open on the takeaway or you wont be able to make the throwing motion from the top down.
