there’s a farm in the middle as well Farm not epoxy allotment it’ll be a like my allotment that I think guys my name is James welcome back to the channel today this is interesting because we’ve been driving around for a while we’re not entirely sure where we’re going what tea to go to but guys does your course have this does it have a 2T start depending how many players there are it’s kind of thrown us for six a little bit hey tells is it the way to get people around quicker cuz we all need to play golf probably a little bit quicker okay guys so rightly or wrongly we are starting on the 10th hole here at Effingham 423 yd par 4 stroking next three as you can see bunker left bunker right we need a nice straight drive here Chris send us away after the 5 and 1 half hour drive through all that traffic on the Glorious M25 the theater of dreams that is I think you’re good to go you think yeah all right not a day for a hod on the left looks quite long up there actually yeah that’s fine y nice shot so guys we’ve not got Bobby with us today bobb’s uh he’s on holiday he is on holiday again Bobby he gets more holidays than the king more holiday than the king can we carry that bunker social we’ll find out at it see I think it has you know I think so is that me being it’s a funny light today so we have managed to carry the bunker Chris are we taking mine are you saying yeah yours shoot four episodes for Smash and grab Smash and grab four episodes James got a holiday coming up and I want to just be make sure in front with it so they haven’t moved that far have they no let be been a little bit unattainable a little bit unachievable and a little bit unaffordable so he’s come up here now Chris isn’t it that’s nice what do you re I reckon these might be running a little bit I this winter it’s been an extremely long winter here in the UK look to be rolling pretty good delightful it’s a good effort sir delightfully this is our first first next 100 episode Down South we’re in collect his out of the bunker James is talking to the locals six Iron by a low one so clip the tree playing a scramble so we’ll be well out of your way it’s on the green I’m sure James will use the they do say they say this is the worst thing you can have in a golf course but Red Bull if you’d like to sponsor us you waste a lot of money on a lot of things waste it on us where are we here yeah to the flag oh I tell you what too feather in great shots what you thought Effingham so far so far so good so nice opening holes on the sun’s coming out I know they always say it’s sunny down south it was on the M25 stuck his time right man was actually over the bunker I don’t know who we’re taking but we are taking I believe yours oh yeah I tried to purposely do that you was bloed up a bit just really really well protected green can we get down there I feel if it’s stroking next one there’s something to catch us out that’s what I’m thinking we haven’t had the Drone up yet so that might be the worst flyer I’ve ever done it’s why sky sports haven’t come calling Chris oh that is absolutely mashed by the way that sounded delightful which bounc as well that’s always a good thing not swashed dumy leing there trying to pick that te up another good one exactly the same line same line if you out drove me as well as hitting it closer than me on the last these are the things people don’t see green and well bunkered both front right and left or Draw left-handed fade or a drawer off the old uh red tree also known as a draw I don’t know I don’t know if you go right of that we’ve covered bases I think to be lost it would have to be a long way it’s warming up that’s the shot that’ll do nicely delightful kick left as well so that should be perfect so guys while Chris looks for his golf ball I’m not sure if he’s going to find it actually because I think that was just the wrong distance for that line this course is gorgeous and there’s quite a lot of blind t- shots as you could tell we didn’t know where this hole was going until I actually got the Drone up I’m sure most people who play golf don’t have that luxury so a course planner would probably be recommended 130 yards from here in the left hand rough it’s a lovely walk through these trees we got it no we start the Bernie train going very reminiscent of fixer here where I used to work and when we filmed for this series 130 a stop turning oh good distance that was good distance it just took that was a a nice wedge I reckon if you play this about 120 because if you get a fly a eye out the roof oh this gentleman in front’s got a camera out as well filming down the line trying to work out if that’s Jason day or not in front malborn bobb’s Idol that’s he’d be mies with Bobby wouldn’t he him yeah definitely Chris has tried his best to hit him on the T yep back Edge oh Gone Gone Gone a longer longer birdie effort than what we anticipated but again kind of tued away tight flag wasn’t it so you want to try and stroke index three now stroke index 5 but this looks delightful bunker on the left hand side at driver distance a bunker on the right that shouldn’t really come into play and another really really nice sculptured shaped green with bunkers at either side Chris this looks like a difficult one but if you get a driveway we should be able to get down there we should send us away nice just stay a driver distance and an incredibly well bunkered green the hole does narrow up right in the middle so ideally we need a long drive down the center here or just to the left to open up that back right flag and see if we can get on in two on this gorgeous looking par five Chris I’ll let you go first let’s have that lovely little fade down the left hand side nice that is exactly where we wanted it holes in this is the backr so this is the 17th hole personally it’s some gorgeous property isn’t there I like the English looking ones more yeah traditional I’m really enjoying this I think it’s a golf course where I’ve never heard of it I think the area certainly helps it just outside London doesn’t it this is a belt of there’s probably a dozen amazing golf courses around here that you can come and play so if you were going to play a bit of a southern swing then this could certainly be one of them they’ve been very accommodating as well they’ve been really really good that we’ve not always had that on this series we’ve been probably more polite than we should be with some golf courses but look at this don’t but what I’m going to say here is the flag is on the right I’m on the left yeah you’re on the left you’re going to open up a little bit more I don’t know why we’re thinking about a flag on a par five but Bobby’s mate’s down there anyway probably going watching this I right that gives the course its logo well bunker up the right hand side and another amazingly shaped green I can’t but think they’ve spent quite a lot of money on these greens making them look as beautiful as they do and the gorgeous big white Clubhouse in the background CR let’s keep this ball moving and let’s get more under par that’s the best gol swing I’ve ever seen you make I’ve hurt my back doing it but you like your Rhythm was different class feel the rhythm feel the r it’s that raisin it is raisin and biscuit y the one with some length to it b a length it has got if we measured that be right up there with the longest chocolate bars that you reckon what about flake or Ripple ripples with the long yeah RI to be fair Ripple that might be tomorrow’s snack he’s looking at me as I nine which was you know what I mean so realistic I think there is something in that and hats off to the guys here at Effingham because it’s not easy to think right how can we get people playing first of all the golf they want to play with people they want to play with in the format they want to play but also round quick Chris that is a massive Drive that is all the way down there well done sir I don’t know why I bothered but so hats off to them if you are going to try that at your Club I think you can oh mine’s not bad either you know I mean we saw one guy over there really we did see one guy over there but all in all guys a really really enjoyable course can we birded this last all can we get to 10 under which I think could be a really really solid effort around one of the harder courses we’ve played cuz it’s not been easy out here today but well done Effingham that is a fantastic idea so anyone want to screenshot that and show it their Club do that now genius it is genius very very
