Rose Zang has played three tournaments in New Jersey and those finishes are listed as first top 10 finish and first the roses are blooming In the Garden State I’m hope Barnett and you’re watching LPGA now let’s get into it two-time LPGA Tour winner how nice does that sound oh it sounds incredible it’s been a crazy year um I guess this is the last event that officially CL me as a rookie so it’s it’s so nice to end it with a bang and I’m just so honored I mean coming down the stretch Al was playing incredibly and um I mean kudos to her I just I just felt like I had it in me and as long as I stayed patient it was going to happen so it’s sounds nice there was Rose Zang and meline sagstrom and then there was the rest of the field heading into Sunday meline was at 19 under and Rose was just one back from her and the next closest player was 11 back from the lead so we got to see a little match play action meline birdie two and five and then Rose responded oh yeah LED this really high and really straight the swed had four birdies in eight holes oh yeah lovely and when they were heading into the 15th Rose trailed by three and then she pulled a rose Zang oh look at this from Rose the magic started on 14 she carried that momentum to the 15th tea box she would go on to make this for birdie little bit left of the hole Yeah good shot there okay that puts a bit of pressure on sakom and then on 16 the hardest hole of the week she didn’t birdie but this par save was just as important oh yes that is just spectacular that is very much match play mentality she threw yet another dart on 17 to card her third birdie in four holes so heading into 18 Rose Leed by one and then in the final hole of the tournament she sealed the deal [Music] close so is hers what a response took a little bit off that choked up on that club a bit to control the spin Rose in the Garden State again I’ve learned a lot it’s been a long journey even though it’s been a year um there was just so much happening and I’ve embraced everything um so it was you know I couldn’t have done it without the people that supported me and the people who are continuing to push me and strive to make me better um but I guess it’s so nice to be able to live out my dream play on the LJ tour amongst these incredible women um so I mean safe to say just such a fun Journey thus far just a year ago the 20-year-old turned Pro after having one of the most decorated college careers in NCAA history she then won in her first LPGA tour start just a couple weeks later next week she defends that title and enters as a two-time LPGA Tour champion

Won her first and last rookie season tournaments. That's pretty unusual, I think. Congrats.
Rose(s) in May: 1st the Mizuho(May/2023) and now the COGNIZANT(May/2024)…the others left in the powerful wake of 2 awesome performances by Rose & Madelene…
I didn't realize that this was Rose's third event in N.J. When was the other top 10 finish outside of Founders and Mizuho? Was it before she officially turned pro?
I love you Nelly to the moon and back 😘😘😘😘
Match play mentality! Well said. 👍🏻
