The Lakes has hosted the Australia Open for the PGA Tour seven times, most recently in 2018 where Abraham Ancer was crowned the winner. [Music] he what’s up guys welcome back to exclusive golf I am out here at the Lakes Golf Club here in Sydney Australia doing my best to get you guys the best courses Poss possible uh to get on the channel this is a very private club it’s it’s been host to multiple Australian opens over the years most recently in 2018 so great course that we’re getting a chance to play today thanks to uh the director of golf here getting me out here and and I’m out here by myself so uh couldn’t ask for for anything better another uh another edition of break 40 on this front n I’m going to give you guys it seems like a tough course a lot of water hence the name the lake uh so we’ll see what we can do out here couple warm-up shots on the Range um I’m swinging entirely new clubs I’ve never never used titlis clubs before so uh again I have to rent or hire clubs as they say here every time I play forgot the mics today so outside of the cart cam stuff it’s just going to be pure golf so enjoy and uh let’s see if I can break 40 not sure why I’m doing it to myself again but I am tipping this out whole one par 4 309 m I think that’s like 330 or 40 yards so let’s get this thing [Music] going oh this is weird to hit out of wedge game week today everything is going to be used 48° that’s all I got in this bag for [Music] [Music] so much spin on it [Music] desperately need a fairway [Music] here in a fair way got a bunker don’t think it got the distance but that’s really good just look how pure this course [Music] [Music] [Music] is got to get off this boat train man just found out how to switch my cart from meters to yards that’s huge see if it makes a [Music] difference striped [Music] [Music] so funny I was saying how much water is on this course it’s like all sand DED worked out all right guys we’ve approached a drivable par 4 sorry about the lack of Drone footage we’re so close to the airport that my drone won’t even take off obviously got to go for it on this par 4 smart play would probably have take an iron off the te and try to keep the par train going but we’re not here to do that let’s see if we can get an eagle all right 298 if that if that got through that tree which I didn’t hear anything that’s on the green let’s go check it out so this is that tree I was talking about must have hit it cuz there it is straight down just over this hill is where I’m headed might be a Touch Too Far first part three of the day whole seven short one 110 or [Music] something I think that’s a tapping all right I’ll admit that look a lot closer off the te but that’s where I landed look at this Back Spin almost all the way off the green [Music] hold your head hold your head never thought a tap in car would hurt but that one hurt we are in shambled at the moment uh this is my golf cart it died that’s giving me my yardages cuz I don’t have a rangefinder hole8 supposed to be a par five they have the uh they have it converted to a part three um they must be doing something to the tea boxes they’re all closed so this is what we’re looking at no yardage posted but I’m going to say this looks like 160 and uh let’s give it a try imagine this is the hole I make a hole and r on [Laughter] interesting with the change on eight that leaves us with 78 and N all Par 3 definitely changes the overall score so on track to break 40 as long as I don’t triple triple bogey this wow that’s unfortunate I don’t know if you guys could see that but spun off the green [Applause] all right y’all that putt that bogey was for a 39 I mean take what the course gives you with a couple added par 3es but that’s a that’s a win that’s a break 40 finally did it after a few tries drop a like if you’re new to the channel make sure to hit that subscribe button I just broke for it0 you have to now I hope you guys enjoyed beautiful course thanks again to the Lakes Golf Club for having me out this is it for golf in Sydney so I’ll see you guys next time in melbour peace [Music]
