Corey Conners shot a 4-under, 67 for the second straight day on Sunday to finish the PGA Championship as the low Canadian.

all right Corey uh four rounds in the books and uh let’s deal with the latest one uh today’s round how did you feel about it yeah I felt good um you know tried to build off of the positives I did well yesterday and and really throughout the week so far um feel like I drove it great today and um hit a lot of great iron shots gave myself a ton of birdy looks um you know fairly stressfree out there for the most part um just wasn’t able to convert quite as many as I you know would have liked again um he had a lot of great putts and and did get a few to go um but happy to BU a couple holes coming in um so overall pretty pretty solid week um didn’t score at my best but I definitely like where my game’s at you’re uh obviously going into a busy stretch now this this was the first week of it but when you go up to uh to the the RBC Canadian open how nice will it be not to have to answer the question of when is a Canadian going to win seriously yeah it’ll be it’ll be great I’m really looking forward to getting uh back home to Canada for the RBC Canadian open and uh yeah um try and uh make it another Canadian winner this year um but definitely will be nice to not uh not have to think about uh how long it’s been since the Canadians won um so um yeah it was awesome what Nick did last year and hopefully uh the Canadians can keep the momentum going uh up there so has that question now been replaced by are you thinking about the Olympics and the President’s Cup and are you yeah I mean you know when I’m on the golf course it’s not really on my mind certainly away from the course there are two things that you know I’d really like to be a part of uh but just got to take care of business on the golf course and and try and continue to play well and and uh hopefully get some some better results uh over the next uh stretch of golf when you have a a busy stretch like this what are you able to to do to kind of keep your pace and keep the momentum up and also keep your uh your energy up yeah it’s definitely a challenge but um you know learned over the years um different ways to to manage the energy and um you know it’s nice going back to some familiar golf courses where I don’t have to spend as much time out know learning the golf courses um but yeah you know I love what I do and uh feel like it’s it’s always easy to get up and get energized to to te it up uh you know in major championships and and big events on the PJ Tour all right well look forward to seeing you in Hamilton thanks very much
