Bryson D shambo’s with us now we will jump right into questions starting with Jeff right here on Mike five Bryon uh some great playing today to give it a run what what are your initial emotions watching that uh first emotions proud of uh Xander for finally getting the job done I mean he’s an amazing golfer and uh well-deserved major Champion now he’s uh played well for a long long time I’ve played against him as a junior and it’s cool to see him not only he’s just a great human being but an unbelievable golfer and it shows this week and um super happy for him uh on my side of the coin disappointing but uh whatever I played well um didn’t strike at my best all week felt like I had my b b game pretty much my putting was A+ my wedging was A+ short game was A+ Driving was like B and uh you know shot T in par in a major championship uh proud of myself for the way I handled adversity um definitely disappointing but one that gives me a lot of momentum for the rest of the majors and you know I said today it was closing time but it’ll be closing time hopefully hopefully over the next couple Majors um I got to learn from this and learn a lot about um look I’ve learned a lot about myself over the past last year and being able to perform at Augusta and be able to perform today shooting seven under um and I know I’m just rambling it’s just I’ve got a lot of thoughts in my head going right now rex on seven Bryson the bounce on 16 in the second shot can you just walk us through that hole Yeah I uh said Thank you to the tree um you know I just wasn’t driving it my absolute best this week and was uncomfortable in the t-shot and um I pulled it left and I got super lucky and I looked at jibbo and I go okay this is what it takes to win major championships you got to have breaks like that happen and I fully took advantage of that second shot hit it in there close hit a great shot hit a great drive on 17 thought I actually hit a really good wet shot I misjudged the wind or something in my adrenaline I don’t know what happened but didn’t get it all the way down the hill and that that really G was a little bit of a sucker punch and then 18 I was just trying to hit in that bunker all day long you know I have this big draw so throwing out over the rights just you know if I leave it out to the right it’s not going to not going to be good Alex on four yeah so if you’re trying to hit that bunker on 18 when you walked up there and saw what you had what did you think of your chances of making birdie from there pretty good I mean I got six iron out of there and then I just caught a bad lie out of the bunker it was on the downside slope and um look I’m trying to hit the Fairway but my Miss was left like I was making sure I missed it left just because I wasn’t as dialed in with a driver as I like to be um but I knew what I had to do I knew I was trying to make Eagle um that third shot just didn’t come out like I thought and is what it is but I made a great putt could you could you tell me about your thoughts when the putt was rolling up the hill did you think you got it you got it there no I thought I left it short again like a like a you know what and like an idiot and uh luckily it got there and it was some nice Elation uh to finish off a around like that in a major championship pretty proud of myself yeah Mike on 13 Bryson if uh somebody had told you before the start of the day that you’d shoot a bogy free 64 would you have thought that would have been enough yeah yeah I seriously thought 18 was going to do it and then when I saw what Xander was doing I was like man he’s playing some unbelievable Golf and uh Victor was right there I mean he was beating me for quite a while and I was hitting it all over the place um but yeah I mean it it was an impressive impressive round of golf by all three of us and um I don’t know what else to say it was it was just difficult and how disappointed were you to not get anything out of four and seven yeah it’s obviously but my golf swing wasn’t where I needed it to be for it to go exactly where I wanted it to be so it’s my fault and uh I need to go work on my game more clearly Mike 11 yeah the uh wherewithal that you had just to finish the holes though that even if you were not driving it well the chipping and the putting how I guess satisfied are you with that part of the your performance yeah um pretty again like I said the resilience that I had out there was awesome having jbo on the bag just continue to um push me in the right direction mentally and then give me some good numbers and uh say the right things at the right times he’s pretty dang good at that um he’s done he’s done well for me and I I greatly appreciate his friendship J on8 Bryson you mentioned that You’ have learned a lot this week and this year what have you learned um equipment matters uh I’ve learned I can play golf with my golf swing even when I’m not hitting it well when I’m hitting it well I got to take advantage and I wasn’t able to do that at Augusta my putting failed me um but then clear lay puted well this week I figured some good stuff out and I just got to remember those things and use that for the US Open I’m excited for Pinehurst mike 12 Bryson You’ mentioned The Pride that you have with the effort that you gave to all of us it looks like you’re emptying the tank every day when you’re playing this game just how draining is the experience and how satisfying is it even though you came one shot short yeah I mean I gave it my all I put as much effort as I possibly could into it and um I knew that my b game would be would be enough um it’s just clearly somebody played incredibly well and uh Xander’s well-deserving of a major championship and um yeah emptying the tank I I certainly love to do that and give the fans everything I can up to Mike 19 Bryson you had some really big moments out on the course this week worth celebrating I’m curious how have you kind of embrace being a true showman out on the course and celebrating those big moments and kind of letting all your emotions out yeah it’s actually funny YouTube has helped me understand that a little bit more and when the moment comes knowing what to do what to say how to act is really important and you know I when I was younger I didn’t understand what it was yeah I’d have great celebrations and whatnot but I didn’t know what it meant and what I was doing it necessarily for and now I’m doing it a lot more for the fans and for the people around and trying to be a a bit of an Entertainer that uh plays good golf every once in a while and then to follow up on that I know you thrive off of the fans and they seem to Rally around you a little bit you know especially down the stretch but walking from 9 to 10 we kind of heard you say either do better or be better how much do you have to you know yourself that selft talk and how much do you thrive off of that as well yeah sometimes I just got to look myself in the face and um just say you got to get it done no matter what what what’s going on no matter what you feel right now you’ve got to get the ball in the hole in the least amount of shots um be better you got I got to do better and I I did it just was uh one shot short got time for two more Mike three then 10 hi Bryson um everything that’s kind of led up to this stretch of golf for you you you know the equipment changes even some of the stuff you’re doing off the golf course with YouTube like what has facilitated this run for you uh a lot more time you know uh as funny as it sounds as weird as it sounds you know having a lot more time back at home to work on my game to work on uh content Creation with my team that I have back uh at home allows me to plan and strategize a little bit better than what I have and you know like like y’all said I empty the tank when I’m at tournaments so sometimes if I’m on a two week stretch I get pretty drained and having that time to just rest and recover is super important uh for me and um it’s G me a lot of time to reflect on what’s most important outside of golf as well Bryson you’ve talked a lot about being an Entertainer but I’m wondering today were you entertained with myself yeah yeah I shocked myself a couple times yeah uh puted fantastic I don’t feel like I missed one big moment putt out there um there’s obviously a couple misses but every time I needed to get up and down I got up and down and every time I needed to make a six seven footer I did so uh definitely surprised myself impressed myself and I know I can do it again it’s just going to take some time got to figure some stuff out thanks for your time Bryson thank you guys

  1. It's only a matter of time before he gets another one with the way he has been playing.

  2. Xander really stepped up his game from last week; just night and day, never if given the score by chambeeno would I have thought xander could deliver. The tree squirrel on 16 for the chambeeno was something that would not happen in another 50 attempts, so when it happened, I thought that birdie would get him to the playoff and a win.

  3. Damn. I was hoping Bryson would've pulled it off. Ramble Chamblee would've killed himself if that happened.

  4. He’s low key saying Xander played with his A+ game while he played with his B game and still almost won. He keeps saying Xander played “incredibly well” while at the same time saying he himself played with his “B” game.

  5. Bryson videos on the internet our helping alot of kids and everyone else learn more about how to play good golf and I thank him for that.

  6. I followed this Bryson before he reinvigorated his youtube channel, and whilst so many downers were knocking him for slow putting, knocking him for his uniqueness and his quirks and the Brooksie BS.
I was trolling the trolls hard and trying to get them to see his potential.
I am so glad the crowds, both on the course and on the internet are mostly liking him, and now we collectively can stick it to the haters.
It must have been a brutal time for him a few years ago.
    💪⛳️

  7. Bryson will have his day again soon a class act. It was Xanders time to get his first major. Runner up not bad though it was a pretty good payday for Bryson.

  8. He is my favorite golfer and has been since he got on the tour. All the haters can KEEP it shut. The guy is one of the best golfers right now. His YT Channel is awesome too.

  9. Bryson, the scientist, the entertainer, the crusher. Its fun watching him play, what a game. Whey to go Bryson!!

  10. Great effort by a guy thats ranked 169th on the Bull Shit world rakings. Majors need the the best players as was shown today.

  11. I'm proud of you Bryson. I have been watching you for quite some time and by far for me the most enjoyable to watch. You are brilliant with the game man. Much respect.

  12. 3 A pluses =(300) plus 1 B(85)=385/4=96= he played his A game based on his assessment but he said he played his B game
