welcome back to the channel my fellow golf ball addicts and today we are concluding our amazing run of the new 2024 Vice line uh now this final one I know I haven’t had as many requests for I know we did the air I know we did the pro and both of those performed really amazingly I mean the numbers were record-breaking and they both ended up being in the top five of golf ball addicts 100 top 100 list golf balls so with that being said I haven’t really had any people mention the Pro Plus because in the past the Pro Plus was the firmer model it was intended for higher swing speeds but if you watch this one you’re going to find out pretty soon that actually the title is not clickbait it’s actually very very serious um and my followers know if you’re new to the channel I I don’t do a lot of clickbait stuff I don’t post a lot of thumbnails with me it just it isn’t my thing I I just give you the numbers here they are this is what we do but if you watch this video and you get to the end you’re going to find out why the Vice Pro Plus is one of the best best golf balls that has ever been created let’s dive in so again this is a 4piece urethane premium golf ball it is sold at a discount of course because it is a direct to Consumer line most AAA golf balls are going to run you $50 a dozen nowadays and what makes Vice great is that they don’t run that they actually understand Direct consumer they don’t pay all these tour players and all these endorsement deals so they’re able to pass those savings on to you and we’ve seen it I mean honestly the way I review golf balls there’s a value score in there you know what you’re paying for what you’re getting Vice always does incredible on that because again you’re you’re you’re not getting it with this one uh same thing $39.99 a dozen uh is how much they’re going to cost retail at the stores if you buy one but what really makes Vice the incredible deal it is is that if you buy five boxes or more you actually get them for $33 a dozen which for a year golf ball is just incredible now this one is the Pro Plus uh most of the time on the channel when I review a pro model as far as an X model A firmer you know CU most golf balls come out with the Chrome tour and the Chrome tour X and the mauno tour and the Muno Tour X every golf ball pretty much does that and most of the time I’d say about 95 97% of the time I don’t compress those golf balls very well I have an average swing speed I swing about 95 mph with the driver if I really low into it I can get up to like 98 100 but that’s that’s it I mean there’s a lot of guys the average on tour is 115 I consider it an average swing speed the average in the world for a male is 93 so most of the time on these X or Pro Plus golf balls I don’t perform them that well um now it’s not completely impossible there have been a couple golf balls that I performed better with with the X model the Muno tourx as a prime example the max slide tourx those are both golf balls that I prefer the X model to the regular tour model I mean just I don’t know how it works that way but it just does I mean the numbers are the numbers um so let’s go ahead and dive into this golf ball and you’re going to find out what’s truly amazing about it um let’s start off with the design of course that’s where we always start uh Vice has an amazing design they continue this of course across the tour the air the drive all of them have had these new updated models for 2024 this one’s no different it still includes that amazing drip model uh there’s all kinds of limited editions they just released the bajala Edition which I’ll show it again here I showed it the last video that’s the Pro Plus as well you know they really do an amazing job of having all these different designs um that really speak to array of golfers you know and not all not all of them are just meant for playing either there’s a collector’s Market here if you look behind me here you’ll see vice vice vice vice all the way because I mean again they’re fun to collect too they’re they’re cool designs they’re unique they’re different um Vice really knocks it out of the park with their designs looking on the side there I mean as you can see I’m not a big fan of the alignment tool but I’ve already kind of covered that in the other ones um you can go online and actually use their customizer tool and you can see different designs you can put on there which is a bonus I wish they did have an option for retail but hey I’m not going to be super picky the fact they even offer it really really cool uh it’s really cool and by the way if you’ve never messed with their design tool it’s actually pretty fun I enjoy it so we know the golf Ball’s good it has an amazing price it has an amazing design um it really does so many things right let’s go ahead and get out to the chipping and putting green and let’s see how we do out there oh yeah oh oh Baby that felt good oh my goodness that makes me want to say words I can’t on YouTube oh my goodness okay well that’s just I just bladed the heck out of that and uh it still somehow had some spin that’s hilarious let’s go ahead and try one more here oh buttery really good spin hit the bank come back nice we’re going to do another round since I miss hit The One interesting huh okay interesting interesting let’s see all right so let me try I actually did not get as much spin nearly as much spin as I got with the regular Pro could be because of the firmness and four piece layer so let’s just try a little putting motion here wow really good amount of checkup there that’s nice I bladed the heck out of it okay let’s try that again here yeah I mean not again not bad it’s just it’s not as much as the pro which I was kind of surprised by Mallet style putter just kind of get a feel here yeah kind of feels like the Vice Pro to be honest with you I mean good feedback good C click good for press like it yeah really good oh my goodness it’s not super loud and super obnoxious either I mean it’s it’s kind of subdued a little bit little too risty there but not bad that’s actually really good now with the blade okay so a lot heavier a lot heavier for sure um still really good sound though really good sound really good feedback it just feels a little heavy if you hit it right in the center it’s just like butter though my goodness oh yeah I love that excellent what an excellent excellent ball okay so some different things with the Vice Pro Plus uh so with this golf ball being firmer with it being a higher compression I really expected it to feel a lot clicker a lot firmer uh maybe have a little more spin usually with four piece golf balls around the green I get a ton of spin neither of those were the cases it actually felt a lot like the Vice Pro uh maybe slightly for fmer but boy not much you hit it in the center it just offers that little tiny click that little tiny firm press the feedback it’s just it’s really good I mean you saw me get excited at the one when you really hit it right it feels phenomenal 10 out of 10 um but I just didn’t get as much spin as I did either uh the checkups weren’t as good I mean when I was testing the pro it’s like I couldn’t get the ball not to stop on a dime it was just every time even if I M hit it a little it was just every time this one not the case it does kind of check up and it does have a roll it’s more than your two-piece golf ball it’s more than your value three piece golf ball but it’s nowhere near that Vice uh Pro it just it’s nowhere near it it’s just crazy I would not have guessed that uh but still overall I don’t want to diminish the golf ball phenomenal feeling around the green really great uh it still offers an ampal amount of spin I would say probably if you’re a little bit further off the green if you’re doing a pitch you’re not going to have any issues at all if you’re worried about the checkup I don’t think it’s going to be an issue I think the pro was just so good at what it did that now that I’ve tested them back to back it’s like I don’t know it’s just kind of throwing me off but no really good there going to the putter again really great feels a lot like the Vice Pro off the Mallet putter buttery smooth click feedback all the things check check check check across the board and then when I went to the Mallet putter M hits offered really good forgiveness because if I hit it off the toe a little bit it felt heavy it felt like uh okay that’s M hit but if you hit it right in the center it’s like you’re eating some you know homemade southern cooking it’s just like you’re in heaven really amazing feeling there they did a great job of making it feel like the pro and which is really nice because again with these four-piece golf balls that are more firmer a lot of the time people just don’t like that firmness it’s too loud it’s too clicky it’s too firm it’s you know across the board not the case here this feels like a normal Tour line golf ball it doesn’t feel like the X model that a lot of these do so if you’re someone who needs a four piece but you like a little softer it’s a good blend you don’t see it all the time all right so really good to see around the green Vice has really done everything right around the green I’ve not had any issues the drive was okay but I mean out of five golf balls one okay and four amazings is we’re splitting hairs at this point so uh let’s dive into the FI real quick I just want to talk about the feel as far as the across the board one of the big issues I had with the old Vice Pro Plus is it was firm it did feel firm it felt like I wasn’t compressing it uh Miss hits were brutal really hurt the hands a lot um that’s all gone uh this ball feels phenomenal if I had to describe the feeling in one word it would be addicting you know it’s I would hit the ball and I’d hit The Sweet Spot and I’d be like I need more I need more and I’d hit another one and I’m like I need more and then I’d M hit one and be like Oh I’m like I expected it to sting I expected it to be really you know punishing not the case it still felt pretty good now it did let me know the feedback was responsive I knew it immediately but it wasn’t like a Top Flight Rock from the ‘ 80s 90s where I was like dropping the club and doing you know the Daffy Duck you know no like it wasn’t that way some golf balls especially in the four-piece Market are still that way not the case here really phenomenal feel um especially for someone who doesn’t have the swing speed to compress it so really good to see there I know you guys want to know about forgiveness but I’ll talk about that when we get into the numbers because it will surprise you because it definitely surprised me so let’s start off with the 50 yard pitch this is just spin RPM only 8,225 now here’s the big difference here that is about 240 240 rpm lower than I did get with the Vice Pro but here’s the difference the Vice Pro I had to take out a bunch of mish hits because I talked about how bad the forgiveness was if I got really good strikes with it it was 8,500 if I got a really bad one though or even kind of a mildly bad one it was like 4,000 to 5,000 which won’t even stick the green that was awful not the case here the Pro Plus has way better forgiveness which does not make sense it doesn’t make any sense at all when you when you look at the facts and science I’ve tested 105 golf balls none of that makes sense um you’ll hear that phrase a couple times during this review but um again phenomenal numbers I mean really consistent low dispersion everything’s 8,400 okay I M hit it 7,800 okay I hit it you know pretty good 8100 all in that realm it’s going to stop no matter what I loved the consistency so that’s kind of the difference there so really good to start out with even though it’s a little bit lower than the pro I love the forgiveness I mean so I’ll take that every day of the week twice on Sunday so now let’s get into the nineiron uh spin Y 7,37 which is right in line with what I got with the pro um it’s actually a really high number that’s amazing as far as a spin number ball speed as you can see is 100 we cracked 100 finally um with the last few you know 99.9 with the air 98.8 with the tour 99 with the Vice Pro um and the now 100 again you know I I I normally what I would expect is to be up here telling you oh I took out all the bad M hits and just once I really ped and put extra on got it to 100 it’s not the case I deleted one shot out of 15 with my nine iron most of the time I’m deleting five six seven cuz I’m I’m not the best ball Striker I’m just not I’m an average golfer the fact that I only had to delete one shot and I got 100 mile per hour says a lot about this golf ball usually with a x Model golf ball when I get to the hybrids when I get to the driver I compress them pretty decently cuz you’re talking a thick wood you’re talking a heavier Club longer I swing it faster but usually nine times out of 10 heck nine and a half times out of 10 when I use a short iron and I hit a firm golf ball with it I lose a lot of distance I lose a lot of spin I lo cuz I’m just not compressing it I’m just not the fact that I am I’m Blown Away with I truly I am 100 mph it’s the first time it’s ever been on the channel as you can see at the new record that just said that I had been getting amazing numbers with all these golf balls but if you had given me five guesses on which one I’d got the most with it would not have been the plus that would have been my fifth guess so sorry about that rant there but just again really phenomenal 128. two awesome 128 amazing uh it launched mid which I love uh there I mean all all those numbers are just incredible across the board um I mean it’s it’s pretty much a perfect 10 out of 10 I can’t imagine getting a better performing golf ball with these types of numbers with my swing speed cuz again was getting forgiveness only had to delete one out of 15 I’m not that good trust me um spin numbers it’s going to spin it’s going to come back at you amazing distance amazing consistency low dispersion across the board 10 out of 10 really great numbers going into the seven iron now 6,181 that is the spin which again that’s higher than my average it’s higher than I got with the pro it’s actually the highest of the vice line so far so continuing to get the most spin which is awesome 114.5 brand new record amazing ball speed there 158.3 incredible distance 157.5 18.2 which is launching uh like a low mid kind of but I mean still in that mid range but just slightly lower than mid um again what what makes these numbers incredible um I usually hit about 15 16 shots with each Club I hit 16 with the seven iron cuz I’ll be honest I was having fun I was having fun hitting it it feels really cool I kept hitting one and going one more and uh I did not delete a single one uh this is this is a very rare occurrence on this channel where I don’t delete any of them because usually even if there’s a slight mishit I’ll delete it I did not delete any this is 16 shots across the board sure there were some M hits in there but the forgiveness was so amazing I didn’t have to delete any of them I mean it was just incredible across the board breaking Rec records I I mean I don’t know what to say it’s just incredible let’s keep going this is the five hybrid now 5,763 more than I got with the again this is the highest Vice line I’ve tested so far out of all five of them this is the highest spin with my five hybrid I’ve gotten that’s extremely high spin 126. one incredible incredible ball speed number another record that’s three records so far we’re three for three um 181.50 18.2 16.9 uh so it launched a little high with the hybrids which I love so again something I talk about on the Channel with with my hybrids I like them to launch High I like them to spin because most of the time I can’t get them to stick very well this golf ball does both those things really honestly one of the best I’ve tested in both categories it launches the right amount of height I would really like and it has the most spin I’ve ever recorded with a 5 hybrid before so awesome I don’t I don’t know what else to say and the 126. one is just incredible I did have to delete two or three shots out of this one cuz I did have a couple duffs um but still really good forgiveness really good dispersion way better than the pro it it’s like I would call the Forgiveness on on a grand scale across all golf balls I would probably call the forgiveness a five out of or a four out of five excuse me but because it’s a plus model because it’s an X model because it’s a firmer model it’s a five out of five I have never played a firmer more xtype golf ball whatever you want to call it and gotten this level of forgiveness I it almost doesn’t seem real but again I can tell from the feel it still is jumping off the club it’s still doing those things most of the time when I M hit a next golf ball I feel that sting and I can just tell that ball ain’t going anywhere this one’s still springing off the club I don’t know how they did it but Bravo Vice wow and what’s really crazy about all this before I get to the driver sorry to go on a rant but what’s also really crazy is that I had thought I was trying to put a little extra juice on it cuz it is a firmer model I was trying to put just a little extra on it but actually going back and looking at the swing speed which by the way thank you for recommending that you know the comment section but looking back at the swing speed I only added a mile an hour to the 9 iron I only added like a mile an hour to the the uh seven iron and then actually the hybrid I lost I actually was less swing speed with the hybrid so even though I broke the record I actually swung about I think. 3 mph less and the driver I think like a 1.2 or 1.3 mph faster so it’s not like I went out there and you know instead of 93 mph ripped it 105 I mean I was trying to put a little more on it but no I mean it’s just the golf Ball’s that good so I just wanted to point that out as well in case some of you were thinking well okay swing speed pretty high he’s trying to put a little extra on no I mean these numbers are legit they really are so let’s dive into the the driver now the driver makes her brakes that we know that and looking here uh this is looking pretty good 2328 uh that’s that’s right in line kind of like mid just a little high lower than the pro though which is awesome almost all the numbers are 10 out of 10 across the board let’s talk about the durability real quick before I go into my final thoughts I’m looking at it you know I hit this ball about 70 80 times I I can’t find a scuff on it I I just can’t I I I kind of look there and there’s a little bit of marking from the net um over here there’s a little bit but when you feel the golf ball when you actually feel it it’s it feels brand new and the other thing to keep in mind is this golf ball was actually hit a little bit I played a couple holes with it on the core so maybe it was more like 90 or 100 times I I don’t know exactly how how many times it was hit um but I know it’s in that 80 to 100 range probably and I I’ve been really trying to be more hard on my reviews of durability instead of just giving everything a five out of five or a four and a half out of five but I I don’t I don’t know how it gets better than this you know what I mean like it’s 80 shots there’s no scuffs there’s no scratches I hit it into a net from point blank it hit off the bar a couple times and I can’t even find a mark now I’ve talked in the past about how the the drip model model helps kind of hide those but I mean even I haven’t even rinsed it yet I haven’t even washed it like that Mark washes off so it’s just it’s a 10 out of 10 I don’t know what else to say it’s it’s an incredible performance on the durability side as well all right so in conclusion um I had to take a while to process all this because and I still need time but we’ll get to that in a second but I had to take so much time to process this because in the past you know Vice golf balls haven’t been known for their performance on my channel like their performance is good but really it’s that value that design that exibility that’s what always made him great was because you know I mean with the price for a urethane golf ball plus all the cool designs and the The Limited Editions and oh hey I’m grocery shopping I hey let’s go down the golf file okay here’s a vice I need them like that was always what made Vice stand out in my eyes with this new 2024 line what’s impressed me so much is not only did they make small adjustments to all that the accessibility and you know keeping the price good and competitive despite inflation and adding new designs and all that stuff but they took their performance and went through the roof I mean their golf balls that used to be yeah they’re pretty good I mean they hold their own are now eye popping record-breaking we’ve broken records on almost every single golf ball we’ve tested from them um and when I got to this golf ball man I was a little disappointed cuz I thought man we’re just not going to get those highs that we had you know we’re not going to have that I’m not going to have that Rush feeling like I did with the air and like the tour and all that stuff but wow I mean that that’s what happened is this golf ball not only exceeded my expectations it blew past all the other golf balls we’ve reviewed from Vice so far and all the other golf balls I’ve reviewed so far so if you’re in the 95 mph range with the driver the 80 mph range with your nine iron and you know I I put I put my numbers there you can see them you can go back and see them if you’d like but if you’re in that range or higher I I don’t have anything I could recommend more than this golf ball right now I just don’t I mean it’s it’s a 10 out of 10 almost across the board on everything I’m going to go ahead and pump the brakes on my top 100 so so far what I’ve been doing is basically reviewing a golf ball and putting it on the top 100 uh immediately assessing a location and out of the you know seven reviews we’ve done so far with the new launch monitor you know five of them now are in the top 10 I I get it it’s a little weird um I I’m going to take some time I’m going to review some more golf balls I’m going to review the snails the brand new snails I’m going to review you know the r and dson I just got I’m going to I have a bunch of golf the Legato I’m going to review all these golf balls maybe five to 10 of them and then come back and I’ll make a separate video assessing where I would put all these one cuz I think it’d be good to content but I think I just need to take a step back because this golf ball really messed my mind up because again what what I would expect coming in expectations and what it performed I I you could have I I’m glad I’m not a betting man i’ lost everything I I just can’t believe how well it performed where would this golf ball be number one I mean where else would I put it I mean I love the sugar golf ball it’s the number one right now it does a lot I mean it does a lot excellent it really does it’s like a 9 N9 8 N8 you know and that’s what got it to be number one uh but what do you do when you have a 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 I I mean of course it’s number one why else would it you know what I mean just when you break records on three of your or on four of four clubs with ball speed then turn around and have the best durability out of the whole new Vice line maybe you can make an argument that the green side wasn’t as good as the pro but is that going to deter me from oh never mind I don’t want the record-breaking numbers because I got to have just a tiny bit more spin around the green it just I don’t know I mean I I don’t know this right now I’m going to play with this on the course for sure I’m going to play with it the next few times I go I’m going to see I’m going to see if the actual performance on the course matches what I have experienced here today because if I do and if it does it’ll be number one and I I would encourage anyone with a 95 mph driver swinger more to give this golf ball a try as long as you’re you know if you’re a high handicapper check out the channel we still got two-piece golf balls for giving golf balls you can have but if you’re 10 to 12 handicap lower and you need a good Tour ball and you’re tired of paying really good big prices here it is this is a solution I what would you also recommend I I I can’t again I just need some time to assess this but I’m so excited about what this did I can’t wait to play with it around on the
