Golf lockdown life is ending
The wait is finally over! The Ontario golf courses have been cleared to open today. During the Covid-19 lockdown I have played a lot of Simulator golf. In fact it was lockdown life that inspired me to invest in the Rapsodo R Motion swing analyzer and Golf Simulator package that includes The Golf Club software. To be honest at a price of around $200 canadian I wasn’t expecting much. To say that I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement.
I have played plenty of Rounds of golf on The Golf Club software on their Par 3 Long Pond course. The best score I’ve been able to achieve over the 9 hole course is 2 over Par. In real life I am a Bogey golfer so 2 over Par for 9 holes is quite the achievement for me. Granted it’s on a golf simulator, but anything that boosts your confidence in your golf game is a good thing.
Now that courses are finally opening I will shift my focus to playing actual golf outdoors on courses. I couldn’t pass up this opportunity to take one last go at my simulator golf Long Pond Par 3 record.
