family means a lot to me uh it’s uh both my parents played professional golf so I’ve always kind of family ties to playing golf and being around it at a young age growing up I got to spend a lot of time with my mom when she was playing the tour and got to go out and watch her play and kind of walk around with her and just saw how cool it was to be a professional golfer and uh you know got to see Hera interact with the fans and uh it was something that I remembered and kind of thought oh wow that’s cool I kind of want to do that too favorite thing to do with my mom is probably play golf I guess um but uh she likes to be outdoors she likes to work out and I kind of you know feel the same way so anything that we’re doing Outdoors is always fun with her yeah it’s crazy it’s a it’s a huge honor to win Rookie of the Year and uh to have that connection of my mom winning it exactly 50 years ago is very unique and very special and it’s it’s really cool to be able to share with her and to my knowledge I think we’re the only parent child combo that have one rookie of the year so it’s just kind of hard to put into words how special it is and how cool it is to be able to share that with her uh the thing about my mom that inspires me the most is probably like her work ethic so she’s very driven and uh works really hard at whatever she’s doing I have not gotten her Mother’s Day gift I think I normally send flowers to her so I think I’ll probably go with that um but uh yeah I don’t know I might have to think of something now that I’m asked about it
