Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.
The 2024 PGA Championship is set to take place between 13-19 May at Valhalla Golf Club. The reigning champion is Brooks Koepka.

it was amazing yesterday Andy North almost to the second predicted when Scotty Sheffer would stop hitting balls and leave and make his way toward the 10t almost to the exact second and I’m going to say everybody warming up will hit within two or three balls not counting of the same number every morning warming up same exact routine can all relate I think to some degree of being creatures a habit no not us [Laughter] to two from the Fairway Justin Rose he looks like he’s going right at it I think that David Duval game plan of slinging one in there to that back left hole this would be the sixth already at two six birdies already it’s a 500 yd Par Four with water down the left side and these guys just tearing it up t- shot for Justin Rose always the perfect Rhythm and Tempo and here shot best we seen now back over at three Justin Rose for birdie about 4 and A2 ft they’re making it look easy David they are we talk about it all the time every year you give them these conditions calm soft four Justin Rose Freewood just trying to get to the front of the green and it can Propel all the way back to the hole location just didn’t get the release boy David a yard further and that probably is on its way back to the hole the t’s are up at the fourth making it a driveable Par Four and that’s where Justin Roose finds himself right now on the putting surface yeah 297 to the whole location today this the fourth group to start already four players Rose is the fourth we’re at the fifth Justin Rose for four birdies in a row at the fifth and he holds it Justin Rose dog leg right power four leny second shot one hand off not a good sign is that long part to keep that dirty run going back to six this put is longer than Rosie is tall well done so four under three the first six for the Englishmen now Rosie making a run perfect distance there at the PA 3 e Justin Rose 25 ft little down lots of birdies so far here today at the eighth one of the easy hole [Applause] locations now the third shot at nine for Rose close 166 up the hill third at the par five forced to lay up FSE cut on the right though and that’s okay so Rose can still continue his run now Rose so it was a five at nine which was a bogey and just a par at 10 I’m learning let’s go to 13 just a short wedge for Rose oh what a shot [Applause] too ah the two rer Cup teammates pushing each other along Rose 10 under Larry one B Justin Rose hardest hole on the course during the week this one 256 yd power through just a foot away that’s all for another birdie Jay Rose to a love it under par cut the left back love the position he gets in his through swing so well balanced just needed a few more yards now Rose yeah throughout the years has been good from the same technique faultless and practice Rose is playing alongside with him and he’s also having an excellent round six under for the day and only two behind from the front left bunker at 17 Rose kept it under the hole pretty nice shot as Frank mentioned earlier excellent bunker player he was one of your favorites at the start of the week Jim Justin Rose and he’s certainly uh proving you right well he certainly was overlooked by most people coming into for the week that’s a great par beautiful par just so measured isn’t it Justin Rose back into the [Music] [Music] wind clear the bunker yes get on the other side of that Ridge no missed it just missed the ball by a few steps he knows it we got a good feel for the speed watching [Applause] [Music] day now should start turning back so he’s in at 13 under total one back now Rose for birdie and for 64 they can actually be paired together tomorrow there’s a chance of that we expect them to be going out tomorrow in twos okay moment hey
