Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.

The 2024 PGA Championship is set to take place between 13-19 May at Valhalla Golf Club. The reigning champion is Brooks Koepka.

[Applause] [Music] [Applause] and just staying in routine staying in the present not getting ahead of himself and so I I think Andy’s right I think he might play some really great golf today getting lost in that he almost that it is exactly he almost did what he did yesterday it seemed to affect him a lot didn’t it he’s back to where he started Sebastian Soderberg Swedish Pro who’s making his second ever start in a major and playing very very well doesn’t get much better than that an ace at the eight and Soderberg is even par for the championship and very quickly to two under on his round that’s certainly worth another look on Hop a little cut spin H he seems to be controlling his emotions awfully well the 13 Mohammad Ali himself would have been proud of your use of the language thank you very much morawa for birdie at 13 got it on morawa I mean Jeff he talked after his round yesterday he wasn’t all that thrill with the way he hit the ball he’s just three shots off the lead all right Susie a birdie look here although be it from long distance a bit for Scotty sheffler yeah this whole hole slopes down to the left he’s coming down in the beginning then a little trough then back up at the very end birdie bogy birdie start for Scotty [Applause] sheffler go another great jot from Scotty bit of an advantage there I think to hit it down the right hand side of that Fairway to 15 Tom Kim with his second into this back hole right hole location got to be careful oh yes throw it left of the hole a little bit well done still has a great birdie opportunity to 16 Ben mle with a very difficult shot here at the 16th downhill lie wet heavy rough full shoulder rotation and finds the bottom Mar with his power pot at 15 hold out so well so far this week and does it again good sign looks like he’s got good rhythm in a stroke Ken perfectly judged distance and he does hovered within one of the lead now up to 17 and Tom Kim after that beautiful drive over 300 yds only 154 yards coming in bunker Bunker’s right in front of the hole location today he’s got to carry it all the way to the hole maybe even pass the hole and be able to spin it back a bit with these soft conditions there’s no whole location that can’t be attacked another great shot by Tom Kim the pitch for morac after missing the green right [Applause] beautiful all right back in play now the next big issue is getting back across there’s one Bridge up about another 100 yd or 200 yds you have to go up and come back yeah better to get a shoe wet saw him hit his second way left hit the tree bounced out to this position come right back down then he allow that to save par Mark harber has not has not missed a cut this year what [Applause] then wo Lee here over the third coming up short well short on the t- shot and that’s the third time he has chipped in today well there’s more than one ways immaculately conditioned we will continue on second for morawa to one staring it down that’s on a great line and it’s a spectacular shot no shock given really needs to navigate this correctly there’s a little tiny false front on the screen too want to carry this at least three Paces on unless he goes for a run up which I highly doubt big up in the air shot here carrying it well toward the hole world number one not a whole lot more to say than that Ian you so he took a chunk out of the rough and it stops dead dri middle of the Fairway at the 12 and even with middle and long irons we’ve seen players hit good approaches to 12 they can stop the ball and dri does just that throws a dart to two feet back to two mud balls scy let’s see how it impacts the ball flight here yeah it may squirt this off slightly to the right certainly take some distance off he’s probably for [Applause] that I’d say he accounted for that I mean seriously seriously usually mud on the left ball goes right vice versa when it’s covered in mud well just hit it and see what happens morawa controls his spin beautifully at four so driver you’d think probably a big lob wedge for Colin morawa to 18 to tie for the lead Mark H how about it see if morawa can tie the lead here what a great line Kore [Applause] CWA that’s come up all day long just blowing out of the right just a crosswind here so good yeah over at 13 Milan El Gro over at 13 oh well you could figure something happened he’s plus three our producer likes to see good golf shots doesn’t he one more time watch this short Par Four shortest Par Four on the golf course just slam dunk nothing but neck as they say and no damage to the hole just right down well that gets him closer to the cut line for CWA to remain at 12 and that second unexpected it’s a short Par Four with a wedge in his hands it spins back and it leads to his first bogey since the fourth hole yesterday he was twoo over on the [Applause] 15 that’ll test the left hand side of the Fairway wasted to a degree we’ll see how this one begins see you re will expected the cut to be one if not two under which you know you back out and he’s how he’s looking at a round of 68 gives himself this for yet another Eagle that’s how you do it Eagle might be about as close to as good as he could have done from there back to the first and Rory mroy for birdie did not hit a particularly good wedge shot in here hit a great P Here Comes Ro just some 35 ft up the hill yeah up the hill up onto this shelf and you have the shoulder coming off that left bunker and the hill to the right and they straighten out at the end Curtis how about that nice read Billy so given the morning that he had round of 6 to6 fairly remarkable very interested to see what he has to say about the day back to three and the long birdie putt for Brooks kka 50 to 60 ft up the slope right there we’ll flatten out flatten out and [Applause] down 62f footer there after a sloppy bogey at the first birie the second bir the Third and now at four Victor hoblin from what has been a very popular area right side of that Fairway front left hole location one hoping in so Victor hlin Eagles the fourth he’s at five under what a leaderboard to eight and off birdie here’s tiger 173 the right this looks really good yeah the best we’ve seen hand de by far 16 Robert McIntyre to try to get to Seven under that’s a great bird bir two of his last four he’s rolled it beautifully all week and there’s another Xander softly back out in front 32 in his opening nine in the lead on his own once again at 12 under par for Roy and a slow one got a hammer oh hang [Music] on no pictures on the scorecard and it’s a four and he’ll head to the car five to eight to Shambo probably a wedge probably is I wasn’t kidding H high right spins it underneath nor more than about 4T terrific shot from dambo to nine the goer birdie here aggressive stroke and that’s in beautiful PUD theala moves to 10 and within two of the lead HEI at the 12th he missed the green short doesn’t matter all is well SOI matuyama four birdies in his last six HS he’s creeping towards the top of the [Applause] leaderboard at the short second for Bryson D Shambo that’s good I think yeah well played yeah he goes back to back after he had the mud ball out of bounds double at 10 those are two world class threes 16 beg your pardon smashing grass here John 1927 pretty well he might have heard me upet it a little bit still getting better oh kka for birdie at 15 if he makes this will’ll be the seventh birdie of the day tied for most with more C come on after doubling 10 bir’s at 11 12 and 15 well one of the hardest things to do in golf is to follow up that incredibly low round with something under par something in the same vinity 68 following 62 adds up to 12 under par which matches the lowest 36 whole total to par in this championship’s history

  1. I’d have at least included the clip of the haughty DEI cop saying that Scheffler was goin to jail and there ain’t nuffin you can do about it!

  2. So glad Rory is falling back in the field.
Couldn't happen to a better guy, hope he gets cleaned up by a few liv players🙂

  3. If liv golfer got arrested the pga would have had a field day with that press. Golden boy does, drags a cop while dead body on road, cop who was taken to hospital and it’s all good. What a joke. This is why liv golf has worked! Scheffler absolutely acted stuck up, above the world but in real world your golf status doesn’t matter.

  4. Not one liv golfer showed haha well
Maybe one. What a joke. PGA is so childish. I absolutely can’t stand the pga anymore.

  5. When you all yell “Scottie” think of the detective that has a family that his dumb ass dragged 20
Yards then asked ESPN guy to help me please. What a joke. Stuck up piece of crap 💩

  6. The PGA Tour or the PGA should never have another tournament in this hick town ever again after their law enforcement officials behaved, it was reported that there were 50 police or police cars at the scene of a pedestrian being knocked down that sadly passed away , why do you need 50 in the first place. Scottie is the PGA Tours number one asset at the moment and these charges are ridiculous, if he indeed did the wrong thing then so be it but he must definitely does not come across as an arrogant, self entitled individual that puts himself above the law. The law should have been able to manage the situation and to allow workers and players access to the course and still carry on with there investigations but as usual that seems beyond the current day law enforcement officers across America and YouTube and social media has thousands of videos to prove it.
Yep don’t reward that city with any more events

  7. Can we have a new golf rule. If a yank yells out, “get in the hole” they are immediately escorted from the course for life? It’s tiring hearing it on every shot. Especially tee shots

  8. Please release two videos if you’re going to remove scoring: one with commentary & scoring. One with natural sound & no scoring. I think that’s a solid compromise

  9. I think it a direct shot at LIV. LIV has info everywhere on the screen, they want to showcase the golf maybe….but I think it’s a bad choice

  10. WTF?? Absolute rubbish highlights no context or scores???
My 14 year old daughter could do a better job…
    Sort it out it’s embarrassing!!

  11. Why wouldn’t you show the leaderboard, shot distances, or literally any stats of each stroke? This is why LIV highlights are better than PGA highlights. Step up your game, nerds.

  12. Yet another useless attempt of a highlights package where we have no idea who is leading who and by how many shots. I would fire the person in charge of this.

  13. All this footage is lifted from the broadcast, right? So if there is no player score in the upper right on these highlights, which are clips taken from the live broadcast, does that mean no scores were being shown DURING the actual broadcast either? Its one thing to not have em on Youtube highlight reels, but also not during the broadcast is freakin wildly stupid

  14. Total dogshit event…people crossing 4 lane highway at night to enter vahalla. 25 min for a ruling. Mud balls everywhere. Done with it.
