you know over the past 3 years we’ve seen Tony feno rise to become one of the top golfers on the PGA tour but one thing has still alluded him in his career that’s winning a major tournament this week the tour stops at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville for the PGA Championship it’ll take four great rounds to be in contention here but check one of those rounds off for feno today he started on the back nine and on his first hole of the day nine-footer for birdie to start the day at one under on 10 over to the parth three 13th now from 16 ft away man he’s right on target two under par at that point he would birdie 14 then on 15 how about three in a row this birdie from 17 feet and feno jumps into second place after that putt over on 18 Tony he was on the beach but he got out quickly set himself up nicely for another birdie putt which he would sink F would add one more Birdie on the fourth went bogey free for the entire round he’s six under for round number number one so how does that compare to the rest of the field well on the par 4 13th Rory mroy he was getting the job done look at that nice approach that would set himself up for a good birdie he finished at five under he’s tied for fourth Scotty Sheffer the world’s number one golfer he had the shot of the day on his first hole of the day the eagle on number one but he’s at four under after one round everyone is chasing Xander shafley the perfect chip on on four in away set up for an easy birdie there shafley is the leader after one round at nine underpar now I know golf is a it’s a game of four days right but Tony’s off to a fantastic start yeah just hopefully that can momentum can carry through the weekend just take it day by day right what we hear just day by day day by day all right we’ll follow and see thanks Sam m
