it down the slope should settle within just a few feet that’s tremendous start there we’ll see if Rory but somewhat similar to tiger in the sense that where there were opportunities to wobble they didn’t stumble now theala who began his championship with a couple of birdies to grab [Applause] another get this is pretty if it’s right [Applause] tiger there’s a birdie didn’t make one here in 2000 he makes one in 2024 malol Roy shot hin gim all to underpar theala with his second sah the gala what a start Bird’s the par five1 hols out from Over the par 31 this is going to land beyond the hole we’ll need some spin there’s the spin there you go hey that’s a must here at 16 po was playing long and will all week terrific shot for Xander Schley yeah you can bump it it in the hill you could choose to use a hybrid and run it up the slope uh could even putt it uh or just have a little straightforward pitch and knock it in oer out of the bunker oh wow H same bunker as spe at 15 same kind of shot and his goes in yeah for sure I mean all the experience of taret he knows that left is no good there so if I’m going to miss I miss to the right and I’ve got a chance there’s the bir L over where do you want the Miss to be probably in that front bunker will be I guess oh no miss here wow tble from the r b ball above his feet choking up on the club and he hits the flag stick way to make it stop I bet he never played little league b I bet he didn’t either this is always just so fun to you get such good laws the ball sits up it’s uh it’s a joy to chip off put for Luke Donal who has played a solid round of golf look out yes in the first group out this morning now theala who began his championship with a couple of birdies to grab another on [Applause] 18 nearly 8 under to six back Roy jips it out for birdie round Xander sh a bogy pre- round of 62 just after an aant shot long range Kea for birdie yes so he follows eagle with birie ke go within five of the lead back one to S that’s the thir third shot to [Applause] Shambo back at nine theala got a good look at the line from watching Tony phenow can join him can join him he does with 65 at the ninth his final hole of the day to Shambo he’s just gone Eagle birdie to get the 300 stay right there there’s a little Ridge okay he’s going to have a nice look here what an awesome finish I’m kidding normal daddy completely normal I would say though yesterday walking with him there was definitely some excitement talking about Bennett 9bs Bennett nice oh hello Dad same Club Frank see if he gets his little fade in here can aim at the LIF bunker I think his fade is such a touch more pronounced than and Scotty’s generally working its way back good shot [Music] let’s go to 14 and this is Thomas dietre we’ve seen him play so oh I love the bunker cam here what a great angle and a lovely shot mentioned it before this whole brute 256 cross to 15 here is the 2013 PGA Champion front right hole location at the par4 Jason duffner promise you he likes taking their money oh yes another one an eagle and a birdie through the first four holes for Scotty sheer thiso has been elongated to more than 500 yards and dner the 2013 PGA Champion 47 years of age is currently two under forward to the eighth 2015 PGA champion from Whistling Straits Jason day at the PA [Music] three float like a butterfly playing alongside Clark and sheer now to seven Fitzpatrick the second on the way what a shot that was coming in high and soft looks promising good shot good solid High long iron Colin morawa from long distance yes he needed that three in a row for [Music] Mor this is CT pan on five to get to three [Applause] under pan off to a tremendous start that is a Towery n ey right there excellent shot good chance for John Ron to go back to back not an easy shot over the bunker pretty easy to me he makes it look yeah that was a fortunate break that drop and they’re getting to place it had a lot more control of the ball coming out of that long grass needs to make those puts at this point Aaron Ry from the layup area on four a good angle from over there and this should come right back down towards the hole that’s good shot about 6 or8 ft behind no win soft conditions how about ch Lowry for birdie at 11 been kind of a struggle for him to get back to even par his life they all the golf course get back to dri on one in a moment Fowler now from the Fairway on nine beautiful approach now it’s Fitzpatrick’s turn at 11 aggressive line looking good really good playing with Michelson and more now speaking of the professionals at 17 yeah Evan Bowser we’ve seen him make some from off the green now a long C good timing Evan hey we got another block another to [Music] 14 showed you Rasmus here’s Nikolai Boyard from long range on 14 on a perfect line jeez unbelievable punt from there 254 yd par three we have quite a battle for bragging rights of the 216 yds you need to carry this about 205 to carry over a little Ridge that runs through the screen if you do that you get on the back portion of the green and that’s just exactly what he did perfectly done that hole’s playing hard I not like it’s an easy part three but it’s the fifth hardest hole on the golf course actually that avoided the area that’s that’s gets a lot of the foot traffic which really makes the lies poot Lu excellent pitch from Rob that that’s really good from there Bob that was world class to 12 orawa looks like he’s going to try and belly a little wedge here for his birdie perfectly executed a fist pump for Colin morawa that moves him to two underp he has birdie four of his last seven that’s not where you want to be at six Matthew pavon flops it up there though and in okay lots of ways to do it that’s a heck of a three 13 more same type putt melson just hit down the hill for birdie read it perfectly got an assist from Phil Andy a terrific drive for Windam Clark yeah he still has 190 so just got to get it up there in that right hand portion of this green this has got a great line it’s going right at it we haven’t seen many better today wants to be able to see the result it’s a good result oo now that is a tough shot no chance to see the green see the flag and still chased it up there gu that’s pretty good getting a little better to 17 birdie putt there you go John R is not going to leave that one short happy to eight and Luke list next to approach the eighth that’s a good looking shot he’s one under par oh yeah that is about 2 in from a slam dunk from players that have missed it there here’s moraca when do you see shots like that from morawa and Sheffer almost in succession this is really well done good recovery keep his good round going now Mora was second [Applause] oh what a shot goodness he has really put it on since the sixth hole today while his tiptoed backs hit a few quick t- shots this his third to the 18th over the nicely judge took a long while to choose the CL but chose the right one a bit of patience and they steady themselves and Xander Schley is the man who shot 62 and he just kept insisting correctly long way to go oh yeah it’s just day one

wtf is this edit?
Golf is the absolute worst now. Came back just for the majors and this is what I get?
What did I just watch? Xander shot a 62? SUre would have liked to see some of that.
Horrible edit. How did Cam Smiths no shoe recovery in the creek not make it. 🤯
This is suck man
Great match, worst highlights
Looks like Kapalua. Thought scoring was supposed to be tough.
Nice Rory
Must agree. Terrible edit. Is this a major or a minor?
Every major should be covered like the masters
Just trying to slip in that piece of shit woods on the reels
Yeah, this is horrible. I do not usually watch these as I’ve seen it during the day, but to catch up.. wtf is this? Send the work to me I have a friend who is a top notch editor and I know about golf. Stop paying these people.
How did shauffele go -9 for the day and only get 1 highlight clip? 🤔
Best highlight reel I have ever seen. Absolute 🔥 keep it up intern!
This is not what anyone came to watch. I can do this if you need to fire your guy. Will not search and watch this ever again.
Worst coverage and even worse highlights
Guys, get a scoreboard up and put up the name of the golfer being shown. If you wanna beat LIV, start acting like it. This was an amateur effort at best. And it’s the PGA Championship!
Whoever put this on here needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY. This is pitiful
I ain't subscribing to this.
this was fucking ass
When you let AI auto generate “highlights”. Yikes.
A par 3 shot by Scottie to 35 feet… wtf?
PGA YouTube content is why I’ve stopped watching golf honestly, it’s just way more fun to follow other sports
This is why LIV Is better, the telecast of PGA is the worst all in of sports. If all else fails, show flowers and a scoreboard!
Seriously up the quality of these productions…

I can't stand McIllroy

who tf is even golfing wtf is this shit
Those highlights of a few good golf shots here and there does not provide any real insights. Look at NFL highlights for an overview of how highlights should be done. We are interested by following leaders and show how they progressed through the leaderboard.
These are important to promote the game of golf, and here is maybe the worst that can be done.
Whoever edit these videos should rethink what is the goal here…
Scores! Scores!! Lazy!
