guys last week we’re doing uh changing things up a little bit we are now coming at you on Tuesdays and Thursdays uh Tuesday episode Thursday interview so uh today is um Tuesday May 14th before we get into any topics and what we’re doing Mike I I want to start off with this I want to give a shout out to all the mothers out there uh Mother’s Day was Sunday um to my mom happy Mother’s Day to your mom check it out Thursday this week our interview and our guest for this week is Brian DeMarco the head pro at Pine Baron’s Golf Club I I don’t even know what to say Mike if you don’t know Brian’s story you are in for a real real treat um Brian has a is has an incredible Story I mean going from where he uh where he where he was originally I you know in I don’t want to give anything away in the interview but he’s he’s basically we’re talking you know 20 years of overcoming adversity if not more and uh and just a very a special um a special human being you know not just even outside the golf world but uh really tremendous and he was the uh 2022 winner of the deacon P 21 Deacon Palmer Award winner so um you know that’s a national award by the PGA so a true honor to to have him on so uh stay tuned Thursday for our interview with Brian Mike last week we talked about uh having coming up on 4,000 followers on Instagram we ended the episode maybe the next day we passed 4,000 followers so the same day the same day it was within a matter of hours from from us recording the podcast to hours later cuz I recall texting him like uh we might need to just take that part out but the fact is not only did we break the 4K threshold we’re sitting here today over 4,100 so within the last seven days we’ve accumulated over a 100 followers on on Instagram alone things are hot there in terms of like people following and and liking and commenting and the DMs I I mean listen I’m playing catchup at night trying to respond to everybody that either comments on something or DMS me because I take pride in making sure that you say something you’re going to get a response from me one way or another but it’s been it’s been crazy guys you have no idea how much pride Mike takes in that he is up late nights he is on his phone constantly responding and we need to get to a point where he is too overwhelmed with all of our comments and M that he can’t respond that’s our goal we got to get we got to get Mike to not respond because he just can’t do it anymore so again keep hitting uh keep hitting those likes those follows subscribes all those things um keep commenting on all the stuff that we have we love the interaction um there’s been some fun ones again talking about the uh you know where you’d want a hole in one we put out that real last week and um you know there’s there’s been some really good really good topics out there so again keep up uh keep up there let’s get to the big cat Mike some big news in New Jersey here uh Tiger Woods was out visiting trout National if you don’t know or or if you haven’t heard us talk about it uh trout National is down in South Jersey uh Mike Trout obviously being a South Jersey guy is is one of those that’s uh that’s building this course uh and his is Tiger Woods the lead designer on it well I think it’s his his company his company tgr is doing it so uh he was out there pictures of him walking the grounds and seeing the the initial you know they’re still early on I think they’re looking at a 2025 opening is that is that right so uh but just cool to see tiger the big cat was in New Jersey I know um Mike was was feeling he sent me a text it was very had several Hearts before and then he said I’m breathing the same air as tiger right now and then there were Hearts after it so it was very uh I mean you know he’s there’s not a bigger tiger guy in the world than Mike so uh he was he was very excited that tiger was in New Jersey so um again you know hopefully there’s some things Brewing there Mike that would be awesome to to be able to talk to somebody from from that camp the trout National I don’t know if there’s a bigger golf project going on maybe in the country than than trout National do you know how far do you know how far it is from Pine Valley no it’s in the same county same county well that’s what I mean I shouldn’t say County because Pine Valley is kind of like again in New Jersey it’s like a separate entity in the whole state it’s within minutes it’s within minutes it’s within minutes of the drive the course is going to be in viand New Jersey yeah so you’re talking about a you’re talking about the same kind of terrain the same kind of uh geological or or whatever the the Agronomy is the same kind of stuff that’s over there so you got to think it’s going to be kind of in the same vein with Mike Trout who is the you know one of the best baseball players of all time that maybe nobody knows about because his team can’t make the playoffs but like an absolute you know first ballot Hall of Famer um Tiger Woods designing it have you ever heard of him so like there’s a I don’t know if there’s a bigger project going on in the country than than trout National is that fair to say I think it’s fair to say I mean listen it’s at least in the argument right in our eyes when we’re talking golfing in the Garden State I think yeah it’s the big project listen frankly the rest of the world the country I don’t really care what’s going on um but it is funny because when tiger made the post he even tags Mike Trout in and says don’t worry we got everything under control but here’s the thing Mike Trout I guess the update there on Mike Trout he’s out for the rest of the season in baseball he got hurt so I can’t wouldn’t be surprised if he’s spending more time here keeping his eyes on on what’s going on with the golf course but but you know trout National the reserve it’ll be what I’ve been told behind the scenes it’ll be ready to go 2025 it’s going to be a fully private facility um so in terms of like access or accessibility for the random folk like you and I um may not happen um but all I need someone to do is to crack the door a little bit and I think my slim stature can maybe you know snake his way lot in and around a lot of people think I’m the blocker here but you’re the one who’s blocking for me you you open up the holes and I’m running through them with you so that’s the that’s what we’re doing here so listen I I it it’s it’s a lot of it when it’s under design as it is right now and and things that I’ve been told behind the scenes is since it’s under construction more or less they’re building everything out all so social media is very tight it’s very tight lipped the only people that will be releasing anything from my from what people have told me is is either tiger himself like he did the tgr design his company or Mike Trout himself in terms of like the average person that may work there or does some cutting of the grass or is a prob that’s going to get hired or just a regular person like it’s just not going to happen you’re not going to see things like that on it um so it’s tough to really get your foot in the door there right now but listen where there’s a will there’s a way well I can’t imagine they’re going to hire like you said a pro like I I can’t imagine that a pro is not going to be hired for another another year like they’re not hiring a pro now for next year there that’s going to be a that’s probably going to be a winter thing and then B depending on when they’re opening it’s not you know like a pro is not going to leave a job now to go to a golf course that’s not a golf course yet unless it’s more gen unless it’s more general manager maybe you know something I don’t know but I would think that I would think that that’s not something that they do until there’s you know even a a a physical Pro Shop you know well I’ll let you keep speculating on what you think on your end and and I’ll just keep my mouth zipped for what I know okay um I I would say the the the photo of tiger there was like Batman in The Dark Knight I mean he’s kind of standing up he’s got like a knee bent he’s kind of looking out it’s a little behind him to the side it looked very like like Batman’s coming to save the day it was very it was an it was a ominous looking photo but uh again biggest thing in our world probably but yeah I again I’d also argue it’s got to be the biggest thing going on in the country too it’s exciting news yeah it really is are you looking for the perfect place to teed up this season or just looking for a great spot for casual comfort hill.com it’s all happening this year at Galloping Hill Golf Course mik I I do uh we were rooting hard for you we really were uh but you and Austin were unable to make it to match play uh you did not finish top 16 that first day at Hollywood um it was it was really cool I I got to come out and support you I wish I could have supported you for a little longer I hope I didn’t make you were Austin nervous I know I can be a big presence there and and uh but you know I uh just didn’t just didn’t seemed like we had it that day maybe course was super tough I’m sure but can you uh talk to us about your experience there because you know you got to you got to practice there you got to play in the tournament um what what can you say about the the guys that did make it tell us a little bit about about what happened that day yeah I mean listen I think anybody that has ever played Hollywood knows and understands why that place is top 10 and for some other people even higher in that in the state of New Jersey in terms of golf courses um and Facilities the whole nine I mean The Practice Facility there is is stupid the range is all grass so you’re like legitimately Hitting off grass with real golf balls it’s not range balls they got a short game area that is second to none and then obviously the golf course speaks for itself it’s it it’s a golf course where you’ve got to really understand like where your approach shot is coming in and understanding the green aspect of It kind of like to what Brian Dy had said when he was on like knowing what pins to fire at and which ones not to because you can really hit the ball in a lot of areas and still be playable um but that doesn’t always mean the second shot is going to be a good one you got to understand like okay I can go at this pin I can’t go with this pin I don’t want to be long here I need to land this short um and and listen Austin and I we we grinded our our butts out we we just didn’t have it I I can say from my perspective I hit the ball extremely well um from T to Green I was pretty solid I I had a hard time making putts there was so many times I’d overread something that just frankly wasn’t there and that you’re looking for things I had a couple lip outs here and there and and listen Austin I would say Austin just didn’t have his game and as me being the jockey like sometimes you have it in golf and sometimes you don’t and quite frankly it sucks because mentally I think both of us were preparing at least for Wednesday like we’re going to get into match play and kind of see how things go and but there’s a that field is loaded I mean you saw the names from top to bottom I know there was only 40 plus teams in it and 16 moved on but that is like the cream of the crop when you’re talking n The Who’s Who more or less of you know golfers and then the partner up like it was a tough field and and listen sometimes the ball bounces your way and sometimes it doesn’t which which is going to make 2025 the Redemption year you know the comeback story let’s go because I you know I listen not done yet no not at all but listen credit to credit to Chester Patterson and Eric Stevens I mean you want to talk about some of the numbers that those dudes put up is sickening um throughout match play I I and again in stroke play the goal is always just to get into match play and those dudes just took down monsters after monsters and they golf their golf ball and you know I’ve been in contact with both of them so we’re going to get them on here to kind of talk about their Journey from from their qualifying round throughout the entire tournament um just to speak about it because I think it’d be really cool to hear from the winners and hear their story and not so much even so much like their background but with their experience playing in it to kind of promote like Hey listen go experience tournament golf go feel that those nerves settling in and and you’re forced to make putts it’s there’s no gimmies and I know you don’t give putts anyway so you have to put the ball in the hole so like list well prepared for that frankly frankly I was I still just couldn’t make anything but overall listen it’s a great day it it sucks it end it you know shorter than we wanted to um but again I the same that you played Holloway holay Hollywood in in 2024 is is is something you just frankly can’t argue no no doubt I uh so to your point I I thought you’d be very good Tia green and it sounds like you were I I I thought you were hitting the ball well uh I you know you you can um for lack of a better term spray it a little bit so like um like on that first hole you ended up in the left rough kind of like like I I thought you would um but unfortunately the pin is front left so that’s a tough pin to go at now you’re looking to just kind of be pin highish on the right side so that you might have a chance for a two putt but uh it’s kind of tucked behind a little bunker there so again that’s a hole where yes you can spray it left but then depending on where the pin is you don’t really have a shot at it you didn’t really have a great shot at it you know so you go to you got to leave it where you where you need to and then execute from there but you know it’s uh it is it that’s the way that that course is is set up um again same kind of thing on three like yeah you can spray your t-shot right you can SP spray it left but if that pin is front left you’re not you got to leave it front right is is the only spot to leave it so um and I didn’t get to see the rest of the course there but I I I would imagine that you were striking it fine that’s the part of the course that I would imagine was was the tougher one yeah so listen I’m I’m dying to get Chester and Eric on to kind of pick their brains and hear about their Journey because I think it’ be super cool to hear from the winners you know obviously we we put a huge emphasis on on previewing the tournament with with having Brian come on and then experiencing it on our end you know with us being out there and then hearing from the winners I think we just put a cherry on top with this whole story and and not not to mention like I don’t mean this in a negative way for those guys I don’t I’ve never heard of those two guys but if they’re defeating guys like Pat Wilson uh Mike Brown Anthony Campanile Brian har they’re defeating these guys they uh you know it doesn’t it’s not all luck that get you there so they must be pretty good so um than us right well you say us you just mean you just mean me um well they’re way better than me too let’s let be honest I meant I’m not even in the realm is what I meant I’m not yeah they’re they’re of course they’re better than me uh they’re just living breathing humans they must be better golf than me I uh but yeah be very cool so congratulations to those guys I mean they they they were able to to take down just an absolutely loaded field so um looking forward to getting to talk to them and hearing their their Journey their story their strategy how they played the course and and you know interesting to to see it Dr Mike pacala at sports Solutions today and Thursday starts the PGA Championship at as you like to pronounce it Valhalla uh one that has a rich history of of great greatness as a major sight uh but the pga’s coming there and going to be this week what are your predictions for the PGA this week listen I I you know Valhalla I think has like it’s just like a special spot because I think for someone like me that has the history of a spot with Tiger Woods involved in it you know like he just he just reminisce so many times about things that tiger has done at special spots this just being another one of them um obviously I have my opinions in terms of who I think will win and just like a lot of things in life I have an opinion and I have a strong one and I am going to back it up with this prediction because I know at the Masters we’ve released three different things but frankly for this I’m just going to give you who’s going to win the damn thing because I I kind of know I’ve been kind of given a little inside track I got some people in three of course I was going to say probably you probably have five or six or eight and your dudes I forgot about all your dudes but I know I know some people that know some people that know some people um and the winner of the 2024 PGA Championship will be none other than Brooks Kea now I know some people may say well Brooks hasn’t been on his game he hasn’t been playing well obviously he just won the last event out there in Singapore and live live and there’s no one that thrives more under majors pressure than Brooks he had what he called a very disappointing Masters tournament where he did not play well at all his putting was a disaster and to his point if you listen to a lot of the Articles after that he’s been grinding at the Grove and I think the results at Singapore kind of shows that he’s a first four-time individual winner out there as well and this type of event is a Brooks Kea event the pgaas are just what a guy like him thrives at he lives for I think if you’re asking me to yeah if yeah if you’re asking me to rank the majors this is the least important of all four but a guy like Brooks just gets up for these and to me when you look at his odds he may not have the best odds and I know people you know thinking back to last week people said you know Dan Hicks even said how can you not take Scotty I just can’t take Scotty this week I can’t because frankly I I just think he’s got too much going on I don’t think this we don’t even know if he’s fair then you got Rory got this baby this baby’s going on month 12 of being in uo right now cuz it was it was he thought about he might miss the Masters the Masters was a month ago he’s he’s now like what are we what’s going on with Scotty’s wife for all we know he could be Play She the baby and she’s had the baby right yeah we have no clue you know you want to talk about Mr private I mean that is Scotty shefle you’re not getting through to anybody in his Camp um so it’s my pick at plus 1,400 on draft Kings if you look it up Brooks Kea will be the winner of the 2024 PGA Championship because that’s the type of things that Brooke kka does okay I I like ludvig abber for this week uh I I again going with one of those top guys again Scotty is is Scotty I’m taking Scotty out of it but if you go with like that top group of like who’s more than likely to win it you go with like the odds right like probably 25 to one anyone that’s like plus 2500 probably has a better than good chance of winning in that in that list of people I don’t know I just I see the name ludig and I go yeah this is going to be his his breakout event this is and and maybe you could say like the Ridder cup was already his breakout event certainly could be the Masters could be I I like ludvig uh I like what he’s I just I don’t know just I see his name on that list list and I go that’s where I’m drawn to that’s a guy that I think’s going to have that I think is going to win this week on top of you know obviously I like my guys um I like uh I I also think Max hom is gonna do some big things this week too I don’t know if he’s gonna win but I I think that he’s he certainly could but I think he’s gonna have a big week I’d like to see big things out of Max who’s your third or you just counting Scotty as your third oh uh yeah I guess Scott he would be my third I guess that listen I I can’t I can’t argue any of them you know and I know people may yell at me they say well Brooks wanted again last year there’s no way he does it again but clearly if you look at his five Majors three of which are all at the P he loves this event yep he loves how they set it up or whatever it is yeah to me it reminds him of just like another PJ Tour event at a great golf course it’s a great Challenge and that dude just gets up for these I don’t know what it is about him and clearly he found his his putting stroke out there in Singapore I know the odds of someone going back to back don’t happen often but I’m going with he’s done though I’m going with Brooks I I know I know listen didn’t Brooks go back to back yeah he went back to back in 1819 you know he did and he did the same thing with the US Open he won the US Open 1718 so like to your point like yeah the dude has has knows how to defend and I just think there’s something weird about Brooks he just has that th that it I don’t know there’s something weird about Brooks all right yeah and something weird about Mike por so it kind of fits in perfect little hand in hand give me Brooks kka this week at Valla all right uh speaking of the PGA Tour mic the Myrtle Beach Classic is going on and we got some big news there while we’re recording this right now the PGA at Myrtle Beach is going on and Chris gup is currently leading the field now we’re recording a little bit earlier than normal because you know Mother’s Day is Sunday uh I’m going to leave this as a caveat we usually do an update but just a quick caveat if Chris continues this track there’s going to be another segment going on right in here we’re just gonna have to record another time but for right now as we usually do Myrtle Beach Classic we got Chris leading the tournament all three made the cut and right now all three sit top 20 right so I mean as as we’re recording this and I have the Live Leaderboard up they’re all top 20 right now with Chris next to Chris’s name it says number one so our dudes in New Jersey right now are golfing so it is unreal at times that we have three dudes from New Jersey frankly we have not I don’t know if we’ve had many times where they’ve made all Cuts together but all three dudes are top 20 with Chris leading so not just made the cut but are contend contending so uh as of right now there might be some segment that that we have to record still but uh but we’re going to keep you updated with that and we’re going to do the same thing now uh the New Jersey the LPGA Tour is is currently up at Upper Montclair and Nelly Corda is currently third in that tournament and again same thing she’s going for six for six six wins in her last six tournaments so um again as of right now there might not be a segment after this or there may be we’re going to have an emergency kind of input here but uh there’s some there’s some great stuff going on uh with with New Jersey golf right now between our guys between what’s going on up there it’d be awesome if Nelly cter could win her six kind of break that record uh going six for six that’d be that’d be incredible so yeah and listen we’re you know guys that are up there at the cognizant have been sending me you know videos of live footage of Nelly walking around live footage of Nelly making putts so you’ve seen some things pushed on social media on Instagram and things like that it it’s been an unreal thing that she has gone from the Met Gala that she looked absolutely stunning at stunning oh and then and then shows up to the press conference and someone asks her you know this is pre-tournament like I just really you know I haven’t really thought much about this tournament not in a negative way but she’s just got so many other things going on that you know there she sits right now as as we’re recording she’s top three right now and God Almighty would it be sweet for her to win six straight starts on of her season and then oh by the way this week she’s going up to Michelle’s event at Liberty National so I mean listen imagine going her sixth consecutive and her seventh consecutive right here in the Garden State boy oh boy special Brewing I think legally she has to come on the podcast then and talk to us about it right she’s in New Jersey this is the New Jersey golf podcast didn’t they sign that was a contractual thing right you put that into those to those contracts right again I can’t release all details that I that I have going on behind the scenes um even to you I can’t release everything but let’s just say she’s been dm’d she’s been tagged and and there’s been some communication on my end there hasn’t been any reciprocation but Hey listen we’re going to try we’re going to try and we’re going to keep trying and who knows just like I said with Tiger Woods one day maybe he accidentally clicks the scene button maybe Nelly does the same thing that’d be that’d be amazing um so that’s what we got uh for for golfing in New Jersey this week um you’re either going one of two places right now we’re either going to an emergency recording that Mike and I did about how how the Myrtle Beach Classic and the LPGA the cognizant ended we’re either going there or that’s the end of our show all right guys we said we were going to jump back in if we needed to and we’re jumping right back in uh big big news on the on the golf front PGA Tour uh Chris G up if you did not hear or are living under a rock or whatever the case may be Chris GD up won the Myrtle Beach Classic uh at the Dunes Golf Club uh the first ever Myrtle Beach Classic uh his name’s gonna go down in history Mike and and for a jersey guy I think that’s really really cool so I I I just it was incredible to see him up at the leaderboard he obviously played really really well um he’s he’s been you know working on things getting stuff fixed but he’s clicking on all cylinders now as as his most recent finishes have shown and this is obviously is is the cream of the crop so huge big shout out to to Chris congratulations Bud um that it’s awesome it’s awesome yeah I mean I mean I know Saturday after he played Saturday I sent him a quick little text like lfg let’s let’s get this done I got a little heart emoji back I I was pumped up to actually hear back from and then Sunday you know I think you know not being able to watch as much as maybe we all would have liked because it was Mother Mother’s Day and whatnot but I I did check the app and I saw he bogey the first two holes and I was like uhoh and then I peaked at the leaderboard and there’s Ryan McCormick right there at T2 at the moment so it was like you had New Jersey number one you had New Jersey tied for second at number two at that point but I think what Chris did after going bogey bogy there is kind of defines like what winners do you know they don’t let it bother them they don’t they don’t let it affect them you know Chris goes bogie bogy one and two his first 18 holes of leading a tournament in the PGA Tour then he follows with with birdie eagle birdie I mean you can’t ask for a bounce better bounceback three holes than that the mental toughness to do that is is again I think that’s gamechanging for Chris and I think that that’s something that like when you when you talk about um learning to win right like Chris is won as an amateur he’s won you know pre high school he’s one in high school he’s one on the corn fairy tour he’s one in college he’s he’s I guess we should flip those one in college that one in the corn fairy tour he’s he’s a winner cor tour uh as I say that I don’t know but he’s he’s won in the past right he is a a certif like he’s learned to win at all levels now and I think that that goes to the mental the mental toughness of the game that like he’s he went on to win at this level at the PGA Tour and he did it by by being mentally tougher and and needing to dig down deep and again starting starting bogey bogey it would be very easy easy to say like all right here we go this is gonna this is now going to be a grind you know the Field’s going to come back you bogey they birdie you know that you’re you’re at least given one shot back for two holes but then to be like you know what I I know I can do this I this is something I’m prepared for I’m good at and then to go birdie eagle birdie and essentially put the tournament away at that point is again the mental toughness is something that was huge to see it was it was needed and and good for him to to dig deep and again learn to win it was that was great and on top of that you know he cashes a nice check of 720,000 bucks can’t argue that he gains 300 FedEx Cup points which I you know which which is a topic of conversation for itself you know and he climbed into the top 70 you know at this point he pretty much secures his card through 2026 um especially with this win he gets into some tournaments you know heading into next year he gets into the century he gets into the players this week off to Valhalla um you got to be liking how his game looks right now he keeps you know he keeps his driver in play he’s rolling The Rock really well but and he Fin and now he’s top 70 which if he continues down the stream he’s in the playoffs so a win like that obviously changes somebody’s life dramatically and for a guy like Chris I think it just kind of proves to a lot of us especially us here at home that we knew he was special we knew his resume at ERS and then going over to Oklahoma and doing what he did speaks for itself but then actually being able to do it on the PGA tour under that type of pressure listen sky’s the limit now he’s playing with house money I think you know from the things I read it doesn’t guarantee him into all the signature events that are left but the Aon next 10 um and if he takes and he’s going to get into the Aon swing five which opens up the last two Signature Events so there there’s like different avenues for him to go because since this was like a quote add-on event on the PGA tour schedule it doesn’t carry the same I guess credentials more or less as others do so he’s not guaranteed a spot necessarily you know and the money may not have been identical um to what the other tournaments were but it does open up a lot of doors and a lot of Pathways for him to continue the success yeah no doubt I I uh it’s it’s huge it’s life-changing it really is is is really the only way to describe it and and honestly you got to think that like again going back to the point of like learning to win that like now that he’s now that he’s got that monkey off his back or now that he’s pass that threshold now it’s what’s what’s like how to do it again how to how to defend go to Valla how are you playing now how is your game continuing to progress and and again we we’ve we’ve seen it we’ve talked to Chris he’s again I think the sky is the limit for him if he’s keeping the driver in play and if he’s rolling The Rock he’s really as as good as anybody in the world is and it’s just a matter of being consistent enough with those and and it looks like he’s doing it so um what do you like him this week what do you like him this week at Valla well I I do you think he makes the cut do you do you think better than that well where do you think he fits I don’t know where he’d finish to be honest but I I think he’s playing well enough to make the cut and again I we’ve said it many many times over the past couple weeks he’s making Cuts is what we want checks getting points getting you know getting more points to to finish top 125 to keep our card for next year all that stuff is is the goal right but I think he’s I think with this win now he’s aspiring to more than that more than just making the cut it’s like staying inside the top 70 so you can get the FedEx Cup and I think that Rookie of the Year rookie of the year is in play I think that those are big things to to keep in mind and that he like he’s now whether he’s had those goals and and you know you and I don’t know that what his goals are but like for us it’s it’s like hey let’s do the minimum right get into the top 125 so you can be back next year now it’s looking at like okay that’s still a goal obviously but now the goal is maybe it’s we’re inside the top 70 let’s stay inside the top 70 and how do you do that you make cuts at Majors how do you do that you you make Cuts in other tournaments and elevated events how do you do that you keep making Cuts you keep making money you keep earning points and and yeah you got to think he’s playing well enough that he’s he’s at least hot to to keep it rolling um God it’s tough to say it’s tough to say that like he’d be top 10 or something like that because it’s it’s just give me a bold prediction top 20 I’ll go top 20 for Chris I think that’s a I think that’s a fair uh I think he’s playing really really well um be tough to squeeze him into that top 10 but because there’s so many other good players right and and as of right now we don’t know what Scotty’s doing no he’s in he’s in he had the baby he had the baby oh okay um had the baby he’ll be in he’s all he’s all ready to go so you got Scotty you got you know top 10 would be tough I’ll go top 20 I think is a is a bold enough prediction and again I think he’s he’s at least hot enough to I think he’s I I I’d be shocked if he didn’t make the cut this week I really would be all right you want my prediction I do yep well obviously I think like I said I’m sticking with Brook skpa he’s my pick but Chris gdup is going to finish inside the top 10 and he’s going to be at minus four wow minus we got number two he’s playing very good golf he’s going to Valla I mean I’m telling you what when he’s got good he’s got good things going good vibes he’s got to be feeling great I get it everybody’s going to be like well Scotty wasn’t there he wasn’t at Wells Fargo the whole nine like okay but listen he still put his big boy pants on and he won a PGA Tour event opened up a ton of doors minus four how many of you have done that yeah I don’t see any hands raised exactly um yeah listen minus four top 10 yeah love it um you you mentioned it uh mik I do also want to give a shout out because again it kind of goes under noticed uh because Chris won the tournament but another New Jersey guy played his ass off this week um Ryan McCormick doing big things that was huge for him finishing uh I know he was T2 at one point did he finish T5 T4 T4 I mean that’s that’s huge for him a guy that has I know he’s had his ups and downs this season you know it’s still early in the season may but I know he’s missed some Cuts he’s made some cuts um he’s he’s kind of been you know a little up and down there maybe inconsistent if you if you want to say that but he’s put up some really good round rounds and he’s put up some some not so good rounds so for him to put four good rounds together is got to help the confidence there got to be able to to again boost all his all his stuff so good for Ryan and making the cut there that’s again same thing getting not just making the cut cashing a big time check Big Time points yeah I mean listen he jumped 32 spots in the FedEx Cup um in the standings he’s now sitting at 155 and if you’re talking the 125 is the magical number like Chris is clearly way inside that Max is clearly way inside that and now you got Ryan sniffing at at the toes of that like God that’d be [ __ ] unbelievable if you got all three guys from New Jersey in their first year on tour making the you know top 125 no doubt I and I think that I think this is going to be a springboard for Ryan I think that he’s he’s again maybe figured something out maybe he’s you see him grinding out there again we talked to him a little bit and uh here and there and just you hope that I I think this is going to be his his his springboard he’s jumping off point like now he’s figured it out we’re going to be more consistent we’re going to be making some more Cuts we’re GNA be rolling The Rock better we’re going to be keeping keeping the ball down the middle and I think that I think that Ryan’s gonna have a better season from here on out I think that’s a big confidence Builder and a and a hey we figured it out as well which would be which again comes back to being huge to the things that we talked about for Chris so I don’t want again without Chris we’re talking we’re talking up Ryan with a huge week and it it’s amazing that it goes under notice to T4 finish and and however many hundreds of thousands of dollars he made and all that and all those points so good for both of those guys to for what they accomplished and doing the thing there that’s that’s great one last bit of uh of news here Mike that happened in New Jersey Nelly Corda did not win this week she finished t7 T3 something like that um I I see you’re looking it up thank you uh her her not winning T t7 her not winning ends her streak uh she was six she was going for six for six um and it and it didn’t happen so she’s six out of her uh she’s five out of her last six but she’s still in Jersey this week she’s got um Michelle Wii West event uh the mizuo at at Liberty National which you know again we we talked about in a previous episode we got to go up and see the course and hopefully she’s hopefully she can go six for seven right like hopefully she can win and get back just starting start she’s gonna start a new streak yeah start start new streak streak G start a new streak while golfing in the Garden State yeah love it so uh so you know we wanted to touch upon her because we we did mention her earlier as well so uh so good things good things happen in the Garden State this week for uh for golf there and a a good Mother’s Day for all so all right so that’s our little update we told you um just a few minutes ago that we’d be putting an update in if we needed to and Chris won and Ryan came in top five so
