Coming off of Rory dominance which was correctly picked by the Turn Dogs, we head to Vahalla in Kentucky to the home of the PGA Championship (golf’s 2nd major of the year). Listen in as the turn dogs will go through some of there favorite and least favorite daily fantasy sports and sportsbook plays of the week.

what is do golf fans welcome back to the turn ARS golf podcast this is Liam alongside me is Jack Jack we had a we had an R week in golf I mean it was it was an elevated event it won’t be the same caliber as this week but uh what’ you think of the week I loved it it was awesome um shout out Roy Mur because it is nice to see Roy M coming to form again especially coming back to Valla especially coming back to Valla um we’ll get into that obviously in about 15 minutes here by had a good week it was awesome I enjoyed watching it yeah the uh the timing of Rory winning right before he comes back to the to to the PJ championship at the same place where he’d last won a major drama at the darkness it’s all very uh symbolic full circle in terms of a in terms of the story coming around so that that part makes me laugh uh but no good good for him and again there I I felt a little bad for Xander um because what even park that’s incredible that bad well yeah the even par stuff is bad but also just like halfway through the round it’s like this is going to be you know fight versus fight and then the back nine came around and Rory was like yeah I’ll shoot like 6 under and Xander all of a sudden sat there and he was like well I guess I’m just GNA spectate this guy win now because uh I got nothing for this which again I understand it’s part of golf but it doesn’t make it suck any less for him um again that would have been a nice one to get off the off the backat for Xander prior to getting into this kind of you know you got you got the PGA now you got the open like next month or the US Open next month you got the open like the month after that um it would have been nice to get a win kind of before all of that maybe ease some of the the pressure going on in in Xander’s back for sure for first major yeah yeah exactly outside of Rory and Xander did anybody else stand out to you or maybe maybe did the fact that the score was almost like 20 under I think at a certain point it’s crazy surprise you at all oh heck yeah um not only that um Sun JM when did you learn how to play golf again that was a surprising word yep y sunjay for whatever reason seemed to really enjoy the golf course um which is funny because he hasn’t been enjoying a lot of golf the last like what four months five months um he’s playing it he hasn’t been he hasn’t been playing well yeah exactly um shout out to Hideki matama was in my lineups um he decided to withdraw on Thursday before the even got the first te um so that sucked uh especially for anybody that had him he was unfortunately the one guy who did manage to miss the cut in a no cut event because he just decided not to show up uh which is again really unfortunate because he was coming in on such good form um but we’ll see what he He’s listed in the field this week at Valhalla I’m curious if he’s going to stay in the field this week in Valhalla I assume so because it’s a major you know then then you get into the question of what kind of ailments is sedeki dealing with you know is he going to be able to fight through the pain aka the same old Hideki conversation I feel like we have every few weeks regardless of of you know oh what what is hideki’s injury gonna do is he passed it so on so forth so that’s super fun um I love dealing with that part of hideki’s game yeah he’s on every injury report I’ve ever seen in my life yeah I I don’t enjoy it that’s for sure um anybody else stand out for you or do you want to get right into DraftKings and FanDuel I feel like we got a lot of information major championship week I’m happy to bypass everything that just happened however I think Roy maay and a little bit of Xander 2 are not getting enough credit 21st place was even par yeah pause not not no no just not byass it not just you and I everybody that’s listening or watching whatever the heck you’re doing 21st on an elevated event where there was no Hut was 177 shots behind one guy if Scotty shuffler did that it’d be on every golf Network Golf Channel blah blah blah it’s not and they just bypassed Roy just like oh major time all right sucks to be Rory if Scotty shefer did that oh my gosh he’d be on every feed he’s the best player ever blah blah blah but it’s Roy Mell I’m like that’s what he’s supposed to do whatever which is kind of funny because when I feel like when you think of Scotty and Rory Scotty is usually the one that is not very animated and pretty quiet so the fact that they’re blasting all the Scotty news but I feel like Rory who’s a little bit more vocal not super vocal but you know vocal in the sense that he will communicate a little bit more to the reporters is the one that they’re like muffling in terms of the victory I think it’s interesting it’s probably half halfway due to it being a major week but nevertheless it still makes it interesting in my opinion that again they’re you know you promote the guy who rarely speaks on anything in the PGA Tour every time he wins by the eight shots you know know he didn’t win by eight actually but like when he wins by a million shots but when Rory who’s again either involved in controversy or vocal he definitely brings some more view views to the game in my opinion in terms of what he does off of the golf course when he wins nobody wanted to communicate anything on it I think it’s just an interesting Dynamic that’s all I’ll say we’re not involved in the te well that’s fair all right um with that let’s get into DraftKings lineups how your drafting lineup do well it started with Xander shley so we won money that’s the reality of it um we also had uh cam young who did well um obviously everybody played four guys so saying they made the cut is not going to be sufficient I had Tommy Fleetwood who got me placement points as well I think he was 13th which was awesome so there were guys in there that were just piping up the placement points um especially I mean you had to be basically had three or four guys in the top 30 or lost money and thankfully I did both lineups so I I mean my lineups are basically carbon copies of each other I won money in both so I’m GNA leave it at that and I lost to Liam yeah in in uh in DraftKings I somehow beat Jack I think right is that is that what it was on it was on DraftKings one of them yeah which is funny because uh on both FanDuel and DraftKings I had Hideki matama so I pick the one guy who didn’t play all four rounds because he played zero um so I really put myself behind the eight ball um but again in FanDuel I had Rory in both lineups I had Xander um in both lineups I had Harris English in both lineups I had Alex norin um so you know Xander was second Rory was first norin was 24th uh Harris English was 34th I had pavon in both lineups who finished almost last um that was really nice and super fun uh Matthew pavon is not a good golfer anymore I’m just going to stand by that on the PGA tour on the PGA tour I know he’d I know he’d wiped the floor with me in like a casual tournament but on the PJ tour Matthew Bon is just for whatever reason not a good golfer since he’s won um so yeah both of my lineups again I didn’t I didn’t do that well but I did beat Jack and DraftKings with only five guys so that’s kind of a it’s kind of a fun you know tip of the cap for me so all right uh do you want to go through your fanuel we going right in the bests I mine were pretty much carbon copy I won money both so all right easy enough good job winning uh bets bets if you tailed along you’re welcome we want five in one on bets ladies and gentlemen the king is back the mack is back June 29th Conor McGregor but anyway um Jimmy Dunn has officially resigned from the PGA Tours policy board uh breaking news here at the turn do golf podcast that is terrible because that probably means the incoming live and PGA Tour agreement is not moving and Jimmy Dunn separated himself from that Doom anyway five- one on bets for the week Tommy Fleetwood top 24 and ties minus 120 we smack the heck out of that Xander shley top 20 smacked that sew Kim top 30 I told you odds of the Year locked that in smacked Kurt kyama top 40 smacked my favorite bet of the whole week Roy M already hit first toll Fairway on round one smacked um the only one we lost was cam young top 23 in ties I think he finished one or two shots out of that so it wasn’t even bad we finished exct ly two units up bringing us to 26.25 units up on the year yeah the it’s really funny because hearing you say that you had a bet that was uh like a positive one for Tommy Fleetwood and I bet against Tommy Fleetwood and they both won which is not a very common statistic I feel like that most most people are going for uh but goas especially when Fleetwood finished 13th well yeah it’s because the guy I I bet to beat him finish top 10 so you know I got a little lucky either and we we’ll take it so uh for my BS I started with five uh one of them had Hideki and them who again didn’t didn’t even te the ball up on the first te so that was a that was voided um the other one was an Alex noren over Victor havland bet which should have been a one a win but Alex noren Sho I think plus six on Sunday maybe plus four on Sunday um so they ended up tying so that one also voided so I only ended up with three bets uh first one was Ro mroy top 10 at plus 110 that was a win second one was sah thalo over Victor havind at plus 100 unfortunately havin played well on Sunday that was a loss and then I had Max hom over Tommy Fleetwood at minus 110 that was also a win so I ended up going two for three um and I B I gained one unit on the dot that was it super boring um so I’m now positive 2.82 units on the year positive baby we’re getting there oh yeah we’re just cruising through it so super fun times uh into the winners uh yeah I had uh Tommy flu to finish 13th and KY yamu finished top 40 I don’t know the specific number I forgot to write it down but anyway take it away 34 yeah yeah yeah uh I first one is JT Poston who finished I think like third from last and then I took Rory who ended up winning so again I I can only Pi Rory once a year and uh was it risky to take him in a non- major 100% but I think that’s our right cuz you have a winner I a winner because I know I had theala early in the year and then you took somebody else I know I’ve hit on Scotty one time and maybe somebody else I think you hit on Scotty and somebody else so that might be winner number four for the year um you know do I wish we would have hit the the longer RDS sure but you know I guess we’re still getting winners so no no complaints there so yeah you just did complain you literally said no complaints and prior to that complained I know it’s my I just you know I like hitting longer rods more money is nice money you know no I’m sorry I I like winning on higher rods it makes it feel like a better win I know it’s all the same but it’s all right I’ll take my Rory win um you know two two wins now in the year very nice so wild card picks I lost I had Camy young top 10 probably should have saved that for this week if I was doing a wild card on Camy young I liked it um he lost he finished outside that unfortunately there we go uh I Ben Benny on top 10 at plus 350 uh that was a win uh that was a crazy number I I honestly don’t know why I took Benny on top 10 I think his top 20 odds were like plus 220 I could have done those as well but I chose top 10 and he finished third so we take that and then uh Myrtle Beach Classic which if you watch that I’m sorry I’m a degenerate that was hard to was I had Ben Griffin to finish t16 and kiss or Liam had excuse me Andrew Novak at T 54 yeah uh nothing exciting I think what got her up won that last time I tracked I I yeah probably I don’t know I think it was in the lead outway through Sunday and I was just like I’m falling asleep to this so we’re turning this off I tuned out it was Mother’s Day I tuned out yep happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there but yeah that that caused Sunday golf to be a little bit of a little bit of a challenge as far as viewing goes yeah for uh the [ __ ] Myrtle Beach yeah no not watching that all right anyways we are we are done with the Wells Fargo we are headed to the PGA Championship in K in Louisville Kentucky at Valhalla um this is a par 71 totaling 7,600 yards last year’s winner was Brooks kka um some of the highlights of the course again super long course super skinny Fairways greens are relatively small um originally created by Jack Nicholas um this was played as a PGA championship in 2014 and 20 um in 2014 this course was a 7400 yard par 72 so it plays a little different than it did 10 years ago that’s for sure as far as some of the statistics to look out for six of the last winners or six of the last 10 winners have closed at plus 2,000 odds or shorter there have been two winners who closed with odds above uh plus 10,000 only one player uh with odds shorter than plus 100000 has won the PGA Championship over the last decade and that was Rory here at at Valhalla in 2014 eight of the past 11 winners with PGA Championship finished T15 or better in their last start before winning this event uh the only exceptions were JT who finished T28 in 2017 um and Colin morow who finished T20 in his last start in 2020 uh six of the last eight winners on the PGA Championship played in a PGA Tour event the week before their win the exception was Phil Mickelson in 2021 and Brooks in 2023 I think both of those were just due to the fact that they were on Liv um if my memory serves right or was that not I don’t think Phil was I don’t know that might have been next year whoops um and then last one since 2019 the PGA has been played in May four times and the winner of the PGA has finished no worse than t21 at Augusta in the year’s first major three of the four winners finished T8 or better now again that is a very small statistic as it’s just in the last like five years but uh just something fun to keep in mind yeah and then this one um it ranks actually the eighth most difficult course out of all 44 V venues and in 2014 it actually ranked over half a shot over par relative to par so uh we’re looking at about 13 to 14 on the STI meter because I’m a nerd and I have this information off hand um obviously B grass greens we have blue grass rough which is my favorite and a little bit of zoa Fairway so we’re going to get a little sponge yeah this is the only course on the PGA tour that they’ve played that’s been over 7600 yards that has played as a as a par 71 um so it’s crazy how long these guys are going to be playing from this week it’s going to make it a really nice challenge in terms of how that’s all going to work out so all right with that are we gonna group right into uh to DraftKings prices yes and if you’re new because it’s a major welcome obviously we dominated last week you’re welcome we picked a winner we hit our one of our wild cards h both of our lineups I think we went all on together I like seven out of nine on bets welcome to the turn do golf podcast right now we’re breaking down our DFS and DraftKings then we’re going to get into bets our winners our wild cards and so forth so right now we’re capping um all the DraftKings guys which are you wanting to start with the 13 12 and 11 range you can honestly you can group in the 10K guys for me too we can just do it as one big group yeah so it’s just for reference Scotty Sheffer Roy ml Rambo Xander Brooks kka lvic Oar Colin morawa and Patrick can’t finish on Sundays oh man it’s so sad but it’s so true um all right well I’m gonna I’ll start it off um Scotty is a fair play at 13,200 he’s the best in the world I’m not going to bore you to sleep with it he’s very valid if you want to pick him at this tournament the only thing where you can sit there and be like well I don’t know if he’s a good option is the fact that he just had a kid in the last week so you know who knows if he’s going to be in his his Peak form in terms of you know sleep and everything else like that but that’s all kind of semantics it’s Scotty shuer I think will’ll be fine uh then you go to Rory who’s again outside of Scotty probably been one of the best players on tour the last month maybe month and a half calendar yeah calendar month that’s a good way to describe it um so again it’s very a very understand if want to go to this one he does quite well in PGA championships um he’s twice in the PGA Championship um and again he’s he’s going to be a very good option this is he’s got plenty of driving distance he fits this course quite well hence why he won here in 2014 uh both of them aside into the rest of the range uh John ROM is an interesting play this week uh the PGA Championship is generally the worst major for Jon solely based on finishes um if you take the last three years into account he finished t50 t48 and T10 that averages out to a finish around 36th place if you take the other three Majors into account his average finish is is 14th now again that’s a statistic of you know three tournaments versus nine tournaments so it’s not really the same but it kind of gives an overview that the PGA is not his best event um it is a St a sticky statistic but again it’s something to monitor when you’re looking for a differentiator in the 10K range or in his instance the 11k range um Xander has probably been a top three best golfer on t right basically all season he’s he’s probably going to get you top 10 the only thing it’s the only thing he miss yeah he just needs to win so he’s a solid option if you want to get to it uh we have Patrick can’t can’t finish on Sundays who I think has been playing awful just to say lightly he’s lost Strokes on approach in seven of his last 10 starts to put that in perspective for Klay he lost Strokes on approach only five times in all the 2023 season because of those inconsistencies I’m fading him this week um and then I do actually really like Oar and keco but I’m gonna let you talk through some of these names before I rattle them all off one by one oh thank you no I’m just kidding yeah um Scotty Sheffer let me just say this I will never fade Scotty sheffler in the world but I will not be getting him into my lineups this week for the simple fact of it’s not necessarily because he had a kid it’s the fact that when you take away at that elevated of a skill a break and we don’t know if he’s taken one I haven’t heard anything especially with the putting woes he has because it’s not about the ball striking no one’s concerned about the ball striking that guy could go into a coma and wake up and pure a four iron better than we can a ship shot the putting is what scares me and if you lose your hands that is very scary especially in a major championship that’s relative overpar so at 13,200 in a DFS lineup it’s too risky for me not saying I’m fading him but, $100 more than the guy that won last week $2400 more $2,300 more than the guy that won last year and or you know 20 what 2500 I’m so looking at Xander and 2400 then the guy that I think is gonna win for DFS to me I’m fading it just saying it lightly yeah I mean I’m sure Meredith was able to pull some strings maybe put a coffee mug in the in the hospital room have Scotty bring his putter kind of deal but I again it’s just the Weir the weird you know Gap from being being off for a week that I think makes it a little funky I just think it’s the hands that’s that’s like hands and golf oh yeah is Chip short game putting consistency those four-footers with pressure Scotty’s always been again relative to his game terrible compared to basically everything else which has been like top three in every category so it’s not really saying much but major championship hands that skill set is so that’s what my fear is um love what you said about Roy M um he’s two of his last three starts if he include the Zur classic I don’t know if anybody does who the heck knows technically is a win um go watch drama at the darkness everybody don’t leave the podcast finish finish Finish First maybe send a like And subscribe on the bottom of it too while you’re at it and then go and watch it yeah you know Roy M has been chasing a freaking major for so long and I think he got into a really bad Minds set where he was chasing other people instead of working on himself this could be a really good safe spot for him to kind of Center back and go for a win I really love it I know I’m playing it as semantics like you had talked about Brooks capup one his last start should fire him the heck up um he’s had a little bit of putter whe keep going back and forth last week scores were crazy and LIF so I like that he’s coming into confidence with that he’s finished inside the top 20 11 of his last 14 US Open and PGA Tour starts including five wins that’s mind-blowing um and honestly outside of tiger I think he has the best major mental game I’ve ever seen and I think in a field that’s including a lot of PGA professionals not to crap on you he’s already taking out I can’t remember like 32 people yeah Pro potentially up to 40 I mean if if you take out the past winners again love them to death but like the John daes of the world who probably aren’t gonna win um it it might get closer to even 50 if John Bailey wins we will jump on this podcast with Hooter short shorts and shotgun a Miller Light if John Dy wins I feel like that’s a must oh 100% yeah I’m G for it that’s totally fair yes and then last guy um I will mention is Xander shley because I’ve talked about Xander shley every week he’s in it he’s the most consistent player T to Green on tour again I know Scotty sheffler’s in there if you take in to metric of every piece of golf and you put them all into one category and you go a whatever the heck it’s called artificial intelligence boom make a player it’s Xander choffle the one thing he just hasn’t got that trophy well he has but like he hasn’t had one recently and I think it’s eaten at him I think this is a really good spot because he doesn’t hit the ball short but he’s consistent as heck and I think if he can finally get a good Sunday round under him because Monday or Monday Thursday through Saturday is not the issue for him much like Patrick Klay it’s always kind of happening on that Sunday or the later part of Saturday if he gets some momentum I think he could really do well because this is not much like last week and they get to 1700 yeah no um again I think it’s there’s a lot of ifs in that question um I’ll just go over the last last few guys uh morawa is it it he’s coming into form it’ll be interesting he’s gained uh gained Strokes with his putter in each of his last three stars um which is basically in turn turned into all top 16 finishes he’s not going to have a high ownership this week if you want to be very different from everybody else in this range I can guarantee you Colin morawa at 10,200 will not be popular on DFS if you have like you know if if only the top 1% win money morawa is probably the guy you’re going to want to go to in terms in terms of that price point just because of the upside he he garnishes basically if he’s playing half decently um I am huge on L leig goar this week um he with Drew from the Wales Fargo but I really have no concern he’s probably the fourth best golfer on the PGA tour since he’s turned Pro maybe third depending on who you want to ask there’s some interesting questions there I mean Scotty Rory Xander lvic maybe tour that again those are the three names that stick out and then it’s like who’s four lvic probably I know it’s a bold take but again I think he’s he’s at least top five consisteny yes I would probably say hot take a little bit of Windam Clark in terms of Boom bus but consistency I would say LV goar is a good one yeah uh well the biggest concern with LV goar is his lack of major history but uh if you want to take that into account then don’t look in the fact that he won his first Ridder Cup last year and then went and go went to go play at Augusta this year and just only finished oh second place um so that’s yeah exactly so he’s just not that good um and his last four starts too he’s only gained 26 Strokes Tia green I mean just awful like how are you supposed to win tournaments only gaining like six and a half Strokes per round or six six and a half Strokes per tournament on TD green whatever are you going to do no like that’s that’s a joke um and then one comment on B kepa he did switch his putter recently I don’t really see that being a factor um he does play quite well at PGA championships he’s got good history here um the biggest challenge I think with Brookie is just fitting him in your lineup with everybody else in this range I think if you can get him as a second option that’s spectacular price Point’s not going to make it very easy I agree um and then quickly to go over because I know people are probably looking at us like why the heck are they not shouting out Colin morawa he’s finally learned how to hit a golf ball like Colin morawa again yeah I said it I talked a little on him but yeah a little bit a little bit um third at the Masters um and I want to see is the top 10 at RBC Heritage I’m still scared I don’t know why I’m still scared um and then Patrick anlay U yes he’s made every single cut most of the times he’s played elevated events so it’s not really you know comparable he only has um two top 10 in the year and his scoring average is 70 it’s not really great uh Major’s not always been his thing although he’s improved and he can never finish on Sunday and at 10K uh there’s like 17 guys below him that I like over him I want you guys to know as a podcast I didn’t do it I almost took a a wild card bet on Patrick Klay to miss the cut this week that is much I am not a fan of him take that into account so all right um into the 9k range we go we’re starting with Cam Smith at 9800 all the way down to cam young at 9,000 wow we got the the cams sandwiching this range let me just preface sorry guys I’m back in the Bryson the Shambo train baby he wore a normal cap he wears a normal cap and he’s fine he’s golden listen long course par 71 but there are going to be a lot of Eagle opportunities this week if you’re talking about a guy who’s got whatever reason he loves doing this he’s got an amazing driver two bad finishes in live not the best that I’ve ever seen um he’s got um outside of that where’ my notes go uh five straight top 10 including a six at the Masters he seems to be really coming into his own I think probably a struggle with that prototype irons if you follow him on social media keeps I hate this I hate when players do this don’t do this guys especially if you’re an amateur if you’re an amateur and you do this don’t do this stop messing with your shafts stop filing them stop messing with your grip sizes because you don’t know what it does to your game brys and D Shambo every time you turn on social media filing his own shafts putting on tape on his grips messing around he’s one of the best players in the world and he can do that but when you do that it changes variables and I think that’s what’s happening um but I think that with the distance and the putter that he’s had recently he can really really go back to the books I think this is a really good number for Bryson um Liv’s stats are so sketchy to look at so sketchy um but he gained almost three shots on the field um in terms of the Masters and a really good chunk of that came from his approach and putting driver aside I took that out of account because everybody at the Masters there’s guys that are hitting like 220s so driving aside three Strokes around on approach and putting is remarkable and if you can translate that into a PGA Championship where Fairways and greens are going to be huge that putting stat is going to really Elevate that on top of the driving numbers I think 9600 is a really solid price as long as he comes out in a normal hat yeah um I look I’m big on Bryson for a lot of the same reasons you just mentioned um I’m trying to think I mean I don’t I don’t love a lot of the guys in this range outside of Bryson and one other Liv guy walki Neeman um he’s been arguably the best player on Liv so far to the 2024 season arguably maybe top three depending on who you ask it’s Rah or it’s Bryson or anybody else um but he basically racks up wins in top fives like their pieces of candy on Halloween it’s kind of crazy how much he’s just got so many of them to start the year um and his approach play is probably top five maybe top three in terms of in this field um and he’s got all the distance in the world to be successful in a tournament like this this week I think if any tournament is going to be a nice you know first major for somebody to win it’d be somebody like AWA nean winning at a PGA Championship I think it just makes sense yeah I agree with what you said about nean and I also agree with what you said about this category um another guy I’ll quickly touch on is Cam Smith now cam Smith is scary because he is so volatile and for once in his life um he’s looking a little bit scattered in his golf game and I I mean life is in like the last five years but runner up in Singapore six at the Masters runner up at Hong Kong he has the ability to score what the problem is a lot of these live tournaments is the data is so sketchy that when it comes to these major tournaments it’s hard to translate that and compare it 9800 is a really scary price for cam Smith uh in my opinion I really like that um cam Smith I’ll get to you relax relax I just have I I have the notes on cam Smith because I was digging into them too chill so cam Smith obviously one of the more consistent players in the world and obviously a short game is what really comes into play I don’t know what this major championship is going to get to because we always talk about how majors are really tough and then some guy goes out and shoots like 16 under and it blows everybody else by six shots or like last week 21st place was 17 shots back you never know what’s going to happen if it’s a lower scoring and I mean lower scoring is in like 16 under cam Smith I think is more removed much like a will zalatoris in this group if it’s closer to like 900 or 800 the end of the week cam Smith stock elevates I have no clue I don’t have a prediction I think the last time I saw it was like 13 under was the Mark I I think if it’s really around 13 under cam Smith is a good choice if you think personally like I think this tournament like go to 1,00 and blow out out of the water I think you skip it especially at 9800 yeah I mean the the challenge with Cam Smith if you pick him this week is you are entirely relying on the flat stick um I’ve I’ve done some of the digging into live and and again it hurts my brain because of how much work it takes to calculate those stats um but he’s lost Strokes ball striking in five of his last seven starts he’s lost Strokes off the T in six of his last seven starts which again kind of gets into ball striking but it’s it’s its own additional separate entity um so basically for him in order to succeed this week he’s going to have to gain somewhere in the realm of like 6 to 12 Strokes putting which he has the capability to do but even if he does that he might shoot two wonder and finish 10th place kind of deal like that’s that which which you’re thrilled about but again that is the the ceiling of Cam Smith whereas I feel like with some of the guys in this range you can get floors that are you know t20s potentially you know in the 9k range yes I don’t know about that I oh I think I think neeman’s a top 20 I think okay I thought I thought were saying the rest of the guys in here guys there are some guys that are not not good in this range um I’m also going to talk about Justin Thomas he has nine top 12 finish or top 12 or better finishes in his last 14 starts um he is a native of Kentucky he’s had success on PGA Championship courses including his first one where he won at Quil Hollow it’s kind of a semantics play you’re playing it more on the on the basis of it being his home course than anything else or his home state um but again he does have these Peaks where he has really good weeks and really bad weeks I think if he’s going to come out of his shell anywhere and play well it will be on a course in his home state um so I think Thomas is an interesting play he’s not the first choice I get to here though um and I will also talk about I thought I had zus in here maybe I don’t you might why you looked for it I could talk about wam Clark I think he fits the mold above average I’m not going to say great because he’s streaky and he’s proved he streaky I mean he started out the Wells Fargo with like backtack 73s a 72 and then a 73 again not going to do it in terms of a a major finish maybe it will because we really don’t know uh but he’s got really good driving numbers really good approach numbers and the putting inside of like 20 feet has been miraculous so I think if he can get there it’s not a question it’s just can he get there and that’s scary um at 9500 it’s a little bit higher of a price but I think he fits the mold above average um but I do like uh BR to Shambo and Walkin Neeman more than that yeah I I think Bryson and and Walken are going to be the first two choices I come to in this range H is not an awful third option if you want to get to him just because of his consistencies um I found my stats on Wills out hor here um he had an awful showing in the Wells Fargo losing Strokes on every statistical category mostly due to an absolutely atrocious Sunday um usually I’m a fan of his on events like this where the winner will likely be the single digits maybe low teens under par um but his form is just not been great I I would prefer to avoid him this week um and take chances elsewhere he’s also lost Strokes putting in five straight tournaments dating back to the players um and he averages about three he averages losing three Strokes putting po per tournament wow that word is just sentence was really hard to get out for whatever reason um but yeah for whatever reason will Alor just is not in Peak form does that mean he’s going to play Bad this week no because will Alor always seems to do this where he comes out of nowhere but with those signs I don’t want to be the one holding the bag when he when he falls apart and like somehow misses the cut hot take I know it’s uh it’s it’s one that’ll stand out but that’s I wonder if there are odds available on him to miss the cut while you talk about the next range I’m going to dig into that they’re not that good if my memory serves right but um there are there are some to to get there for sure um into the K range we’re were talking what plus 162 yeah I don’t know if I like that though as a as a if it was like I feel like it was like plus 200 I’d be a little more like a but like plus 162 doesn’t even feel like that much of a win um because he I mean will zel horse could also do where he shoots like even par plus two makes the cut and then shoots like plus 11 plus 11 on Saturday Sunday like that could very much be a Will’s alot Horus play as well he’s done that multiple times I have too many bets I won’t do it yeah I’m I’m not doing it either but into the into the AK rer go we’re starting with Matt Fitzpatrick at 8,900 all the way down to Patrick Reed at 8,000 interesting wow Dustin Johnson’s 8000 Jesus how the mighty have fallen all because of Paulina bro just it’s good reason yeah yeah that’s fair um I’ll talk about really quickly one of the guys that we haven’t highlighted a ton this year obviously because he plays for Liv um I think Patrick Reed actually possesses an above average for the 8K flat price range in here I’m taking a look at his lid finishes which again preface we are fully aware of 27th Place on Li is not the same as the 27th Place on the PGA tour we are fully aware of that however um he’s made eight of eight cuts on the live tour which I think is incredible that was a joke guys there’s no cuts on live thank you very much hold your applause 14th at Singapore 22nd at adelay 12th at the Masters ninth in Miami he’s been just really consistent all across the board he has obviously a little bit of volatility where volatility for him is like 75 it’s not 77 it’s not 78 major championship field I think that really serves him he has one of the best hands hands I’ve ever seen in the game of golf and that’s saying something because I Patrick Reed if you’re listening right now and you want to come on and talk to us or invite me out to play golf I’d love that that’d be awesome you’re my man but you’re a piece of you are rude you are a rude person to a lot of people and I would drop stories that I’ve heard from the inklings that would make people’s toes curl but he’s really good at golf he’s got incredible short game I think he has underrated distance I don’t think a lot of people talk about Patrick Reed when they talk about distance guy hits the ball pretty dang far um yeah maybe not for PGA Tour but for relatively hits at a country mile I think AK is a really good price for Patrick Reed really do yeah I’m I I’m not opposed to Patrick Reed this uh this week either I do think there are a couple guys above him that I would probably take some priority of over him uh I think Tommy Fleetwood at 8700 is is been on absolute fire um he’s been a stick more or less in all aspects of his game he’s above average on all Strokes gain categories and has te has three top 13 or better finishes in his last four starts again the the Tommy Fleetwood Maiden Vic iory is is quickly going to be approaching here well PGA Tour Maiden Victory let me because he’s W on D not in Africa yeah exactly um that will be coming shortly do I think it’s this week no do I still think he has good likelihood to finish top 10 100% because he was what third at the Masters so I’m very okay if you want to get to Tommy flew at 8700 if Hideki plays this week and he’s not injured he’s an interesting option at 8600 if you do that keep tabs on the injury report it’s all I’m going to say cuz uh he he’s gone 11 for 11 on making the cut of PG Championship the biggest concern is whether he’s going to make it to the first te on Thursday yeah and just to clarify my comment about Tommy food in Africa if you don’t know he for whatever reason he just dominates in Africa like he’s won I think three times in Africa so it wasn’t a race or a country whatever the heck you guys make big deals about now he just plays really good golf in Africa that’s what I was saying yeah that’s think um oh go ahead go for no I I think Jordan spe is going to be a a really bad play for a lot of guys this week um he’s lost on approach in six of his last seven starts he’s also fighting a wrist injury um he is another guy where if you feel good about it I don’t I don’t blame you if you want to bet against him as far as made cut lines I think that is a very valid and viable option to if you choose to go that route that was not what I was going to touch on which is nice I was going to say Matt Fitzpatrick I think is being quietly overlooked once again in a major championship he’s really consistent he’s not going to go out and shoot 64 but he’s not gonna go out and shoot 77 much kind of like how I said to the effect of Patrick Reed yeah um he’s done a lot better outside of the Wells Fargo um since we crapped on him at the API fifth at the play play is 10th at Valero 22nd the Masters 28th at RBC Heritage he’s got that game he possesses it I think at a major he may bring it out but I think he’s being a very overlooked very overlooked yeah I mean I think he’s a viable option again I think this six or this 6K I think this 8K range could be very interesting there’s a lot there’s a lot of guys that I think could be fair play in here um the biggest issue is again just going to be avoiding those landmines in this range because there are some some bad choices around here for sure um so it’s just picking picking the one that makes the most sense logistically that won’t hurt you like I feel like Dustin Johnson is potentially a landmine he’s lost Strokes on approach around the green and putting he’s going to be low owned because of his monumentally awful performance at Augusta losing in basically every Strokes gain category it like there’s there’s guys like that all over this range and you just got to know who to avoid in order to make sure that you don’t put them in your uh put Johnson picks up a big kid oh yeah I mean um I don’t know we’ll see we’ll see what Paul Paul schedule looks like this week but may maybe it’s a good week to bet him anyways so never know yeah yeah uh transition topic of the decade into the sevenk range um starting out with Jason day and great news for the golfing World Taylor gu is in the field in this range so it will count rooy wins it will count um thank you Taylor G for taking the time to join us and probably finish 88th um all the way down um to Adam shank which is interesting to see him priced this High compared to some guys in the field but let me quickly talk about some guys um number one Alex freaking norin yeah why I said it like that that’ll probably get clipped everywhere um he’s not missed a single cut on the year um out of 11 starts and has been in the top 26 of though times great statline um let’s be honest guys if you take a look at his most recent major finishes you probably want to turn the page because it hasn’t been great um but in this year he’s fifth in Strokes game total six in green and RG first in scrambling I’ll repeat that first in scrambling third in scoring average and third in bogey avoidance you take all I him so okay I had him second in bogy avoidance that was updated like three minutes before I did it um got it okay I must not have updated it last week my bad no you’re all good um he I don’t know if he might have bet the Wells Fargo he didn’t uh do too well uh 75 in round two which probably nicked it um anyway um what was I saying oh he’s awesome he’s got you don’t have to wave at me I’m not the Queen of England um I just think that’s an incredible statline for a guy at 7200 and again for if you’re new welcome for me $7,500 in DraftKings or lower make a cut you’re taking a guy that hasn’t missed a cut this year and I just read all those stat lines with the scoring average of just under 69 that’s incredible incredible take that I think he’s potentially top 10 in the in the in the field in ter in terms of metrics um it’s a bold take um he does have bad major history but his last major was the open last year and he did finish 23rd um so there is a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel do I think he’s probably a different golfer now than he was you know prior to last year 100% um so I am very high on Alex noren as well I think I think he’s going to absolutely crush it this year if you don’t put him in your lineup at 7200 I do think that is a mistake personally as I quoted last year uh put him in your lineup or you’re an idiot I think is how I put it last year yeah um another guy who is is Si is similar to Alex norn in terms of The Upside is seu Kim um he is one of the best ball Strikers on the planet not named Scotty or RoR or Xander um he has gained at least four strokes ball striking in six of his last eight tournaments and has six top 18s in his last eight starts the other two were both measly T30 uh biggest issue with sewu is that his putter is basically held him back from winning he’s lost Strokes putting shake that ass well he’s lost Strokes putting in seven of his last eight starts which is brutal uh to say the the absolute least so that is something to keep an eye on but again I think I think SE is going to be a very good option this week um I do think Seb straa is going to be an interesting choice if you want to go for the boom bus potential um he’s second on tour and driving accuracy um and he’s also had three top 16s in his last three starts again there’s the inherent risk of uh se straa but it’s just something you kind of have to take into account if you uh if you want a chance to to have somebody play well basically yeah um I’m quickly going to talk about Russell Henley also much like I just talked about the Alex no not traditionally known as a major championship finisher but 14th in last year’s US Open and 38th in the Masters is honestly really good direction already four top 10 in the year and is honestly one of the more consistent players that’s really being slept on um he’s 12th in Strokes game total and eighth in driving accuracy and top 15 in putting he’s also top 25 at every single metric from 50 to 125 yards scrambling and bogey avoidance you take all that into account you looking at a pretty good major package especially coming into the year I don’t know what the heck his stats were three years ago when he sucked at Majors and couldn’t make a cut if his wife’s life dependent on it I don’t know if he has a wife um but s sorry Russell edley um but right now looks like a pretty good major package if you’re coming into a PGA so I really like it also a really really cold take or really hot take depending on how you look at it I think Adam Scott might be really slept on this week and I know he hasn’t had maybe the year that he’s wanted to but he already has three top 10 uh on the year and four top 30s in a row he’s a veteran in these major championships obviously has you know a couple major or a major to his name uh three top 10 in his last US Open or 11 Us open in PGA Stewarts and he ranks above average in a crapload of all these approach and putting metrics and I’m not saying he’s leading the category in any shape or form but if you’re taking a look at above average on major championships especially in approach play that’s going to be really good um I think can he keep the ball in the phro in the green that’s the biggest thing for Adam Scott yeah uh one other guy I’ll mention again he’s going to be a little more risky of a play in my opinion I would go with other guys but if you want to be different uh Stephen joerger fits out very well metrics wise on this course um he also has uh four top 21 finishes in his last five Starts Now the one was the other one was a miscut and that happened to be the Masters um and the time before that win at te at the Houston open was also miscut at the Players so you could say that maybe he doesn’t perform well in these high tier events which I understand but again if you just want somebody on good form stepen dieger is one of the best choices in terms of 7100 I don’t hate that one B yeah um all right into the 6K range we go we got Justin Rose at 6,900 all the way down to Lucas berbert at 6,000 and Gary Woodland well let me throw out Gary Wood oh Gary Shout Out Gary um all right you got you got 30 seconds go crazy ladies and gentlemen it is Jack’s time of favorite time of the world it’s Tiger Woods time of the month it is my time of the month if Tiger’s playing it’s my time of the month I’ll take I will have a period for a week to watch Tiger Woods um ladies and gentlemen tiger just shot and it’s confirmed now 62 in his practice round at Valhalla he slowed his swing down which I think is tremendous for him because we always talk about him getting errant at 6800 beating a bunch of PGA PGA professionals that are filling up what is it like a six of the field I think it’s actually a really reasonable price now listen you Golf Community talk to me don’t talk to Lim because he’s being a loser but you can making money yeah and everybody that bet on to make the cut made a crap load of money anyway 6,800 if he makes the cut I am ecstatic we always have to be I think at a really good mindset and I’m guilty of it too whenever we see tiger we expect him to go win by seven shots and fist bump and that’s just the reality isn’t there anymore I think this is a really good opportunity because I think the course really suits well for him he hits the ball crazy far for his age crazy far I mean he’s out driving Xander shafley will zures Justin Thomas irons have never been an issue for him Masters they showed a little bit of crack from the clips that I saw at Valhalla this morning of the practice round slowest Swang down contact he was spinning it on a stiip meter of 13 which shouldn’t really happen especially with the trajectory that his balls come in they’re very penetrating and that’s the tww design in the irons hands best hands in the world best hands we’ve ever seen 6,800 you can never count out the greatest athlete of all time and when he wins this week there will be a documentary in HBO probably talking about some hooters waitress that he banged like 16 years ago and not the actual golf that’s the reality of the world we live in next because I have my 30 seconds you’re welcome for Tiger Woods he’s going to win shout out to you I called it baz ho chrisan uh four top 10 on the year super consistent 13 for 15 on cuts the two he missed were so long ago one was like farmers and January and one was like I don’t know it was like the Honda CL cognizant whatever the heck it was um he has a scoring average of 69 should put him in the cut with ease and put him in a really good spot for the weekend he has the ability to drop like an occasional 64 65 and use that small ball to score he’s 18th in Strokes game total seventh in Strokes game putting a crazy one which caught me off guard when I was reading it 11th in proximity to the hole on approach that that shocked me but he’s top three from 50 to 125 yards and 20th in bogy avoidance you take all that into effect that’s a really good major package for a guy that’s $6,600 that’s insane I’m not telling you you’re an ID if you don’t put him in but I I think that’s really good numbers and that leads me to Tiger Woods and my 30 seconds will start now all right all right the Tiger Woods uh is over thank gosh now we get to wait until next month’s US Open when he comes back um I’m gonna start off with Taylor Moore at 6200 it’s not a flashy pick um the guy’s only gone 12 for 12 on making the cut he’s top 10 on tour and boy avoidance it’s nothing fancy um but again T20 at the Masters he finished second at the Houston open uh did he not play great at the Heritage sure but that is that is that a course similar to aalla at all absolutely not um so I’m quite okay going back to Taylor Mo especially at 6200 as in Jack’s words you’re likely to get a ma cut and you’re likely to probably get about a T30 and if he’s your sixth guy at 6200 getting a T30 in this field you’re quite happy with yourself um so I’m thrilled with him he is probably one of my favorite choices in this range um a couple guys I’m going to go through that I’m not a fan of uh JT Poston poston’s a two-time winner on PJ tour but he’s never finished better than 30th at a major um he has four top 10 on tour this season but I don’t think it matters because again he’s just not inform enough to make cuts at major events for whatever reason doesn’t make any sense uh the other guy I’ll talk about where’s isn’t Phil in this range am I losing it yes I’m looking for him too because I’m tripping out that’s what I was like looking at my phone for it oh 6 6100 there he is um he has not finished top 10 in any tournament PGA or live uh since LIV Miami which was their team event in October of last year um he’s lost Strokes off the tea in nine nine of his last 10 starts um and his lost Strokes with his putter in seven of those 10 starts he’s just not the same golfer um as masters phille from last year where he finished runner up please keep that in mind I know he’s the flashy name cuz you see B Michelson you see eight for eight on making the cuts it’s it’s a facade it’s not what you anticipated it to be what’s up kid um Phil Nicholson stat of the week in the US Open and PGA Championship because I combine those to they’re very similar in terms of the metrics and models I I know there’s some facade to that so don’t come at me and if you do try me Phil Mickelson if you exclude his win he has one top 50 finish in the last seven years at these events and if you include the win he what do you think if you include his win what his average scoring finish is has been at these events over the last seven years 42 71.9 H okay interesting it’s not good yeah no that uh that is brutal that is something definitely to keep in mind uh last guy I’ll mention just because he’s played decently well coming into here is Denny McCarthy uh I mean you could talk about him he’s just got a couple top 10 in his last few starts um he’s got no he’s got no problems playing in high elevated tournaments he finished 35th the players 45th the Masters I think there’s a little bit of a challenge of getting off the tea with him but it doesn’t seem hasn’t seem to have been a problem so far this year so I’m quite okay if you you know you don’t want to go to uh Taylor Mor 6200 and you want to go to Denny at 6300 yep you pretty much have word for word my notes I was saying 11 for 12 un Cuts already has six top 30 finishes has a tendency to make an extremely high score based on an errant t- shot however outside of that is fairly consistent putter always does some wonders which in a major championship is obviously an above average stat and his last three Us open in pgs STS have all been top 30s I think at 6,300 it’s a really good price um like you had said barring the aent T shot where he’s gonna make a nine shout out Liam’s golf game because that’s very eerily similar set up for a good week oh come on you’ll be the first one to admit it that’s that’s fair it’s fair I just didn’t think you had to spew it out over the podcast but that’s all right I see how it is I’m GNA remember this in 10 years when Jack makes like an 11 and loses two ball two balls in the water on a hole I’m gonna remember this moment if I make an 11 I’m breaking every Club in my bag probably over your back just to like let it all go let it all go when by the way when did Lucas berbert join Liv I just realized that I’m like looking through his stats now just long time ago did he really God I just really never noticed he left the PJ tour I just assumed he sucked so they most people didn’t they dropped him well that’s fair Lucas Herbert if you’re watching first of all you know congratulations on the Move making a lot of money we could use some over here he’s not a needle mover no one no one’s really yeah yeah um did we talk about Taylor pendrith at all or no uhuh uh all right well just some to note four straight top 11 top 11 or better performances uh one of them being his Maiden win uh it’s not exactly the layout I would use for his game but there is an opportunity for that like bomb and gouge if you want to do it because it’s 7600 yards um which gives him potential he’s probably like the fourth or fifth choice in the 6K range for me again I like more better I like Denny better but you know give me him over like tiger kind of deal so yes I said that in in terms of likelihoods to play well yes all right jack is walking off um I’m going to immediately Loop myself into the 5K range uh we are starting with Robert McIntyre at 5900 all the way down to I’m assuming it is John Daly yes it is John daily at 5,000 so cool uh Jack is now back plugging in his headphones turn the podcast off I don’t care if you’re listening you guys can turn it off uh Jack we’ve already done the the minute and a half of uh of of Tiger Woods dick sucking competition so we can’t we can’t do that anymore the greatest athlete of all time I understand but he’s not in the current form of being the greatest athlete he is in the future form after he was the greatest athlete of B you are tuning away so many golf fans right now no I’m what I’m tuning in is golf betters the golf fans will understand that that Tiger Woods is not the same person he was 15 to 20 years ago when he was winning all those tournaments he had way too many back surgeries way too many leg injuries okay we I I understand I hope he wins for everybody’s sake I hope he wins another tournament but statistically it is not worth getting to him in any asset or any form whatsoever when it comes to a major what in the world are you doing with your hands they just feel comfortable this way sometimes I don’t know I was like uh anyway that was ridiculous um moving on we’re in we’re in the 5K range I already said it Robert McIntyre to John Daly uh do you want to talk about Sebastian yes this guy this guy text me some of his notes I’m like okay first of all you don’t even watch these St you don’t even watch these alternative tours this guy PG a tour fine you take whatever you want other tours this guy goes yeah I like this guy Sebastian Soderberg or whatever the heck you said I’m like yeah well now you know you whatever anyway Swedish gangster I already put up a Tik Tok video go watch it out for my three Dark Horses three top threes on his last three starts hit six top 10 on his last top 10 starts in the DP World Tour that gave my mind a little trip scoring average is 69 but has already shot 63 and a couple 64s in the year made every cut in the DP World Tour including number four on the rankings crazy Strokes gain measures which again I know they don’t translate well because some people pop in back and forth they don’t translate over and he made the cut it last year’s US Open so he has the experience he’s played US Open plays a lot harder than PGA um getting in I think at 50 $700 this is a crazy crazy crazy opening um second before Liam steals my other guy Tim Whiting nope not taking him you can take him yep thank you let me just tell you real quick going to be the corn fairy Player of the Year let me tell you why you know what his last two starts were win and win win and win y um top fives in nine of his last no including five top 11s in his last nine starts in his last eight rounds his worst score is a 67 in his last eight rounds his worst score is 67 including a 62 and 2 63s he’s got a scoring average of 68 across the entire corn fairy season he has an average of seven Bogies per tournament but also 20 birdies per tournament and almost three qus of an eagle a tournament you take all that into effect with a course that has a lot of opportunities for Eagles bogy ofo is pertinent I think at 50 what is he 5600 this is a really good Target here at diamond in the rough let me tell you yeah um again I I’ll count down it I’m a big fan of Sebastian Soderberg as well this week he gained 13 Strokes in YouTu his last three starts total um as far as Strokes gains matri go I’m also going to talk McKenzie Hughes um he’s finished top 15 in three of his last five starts he also finished second last week in Strokes gain putting um these are the kind of tournaments where like the Mackenzie Hughes the Adam senson these like obscure like not obscure Canadians cuz these guys are on PJ tour but like these guys that are usually finishing like T45 all of a sudden pull out top 10 um I think he’s one of the more viable options in this 5K range um the other guy I really like in this range outside of Soderberg and probably like him a little more than McKenzie Hughes is Jordan Smith um he has four top 24s in his last five starts um is top 20 in the field and strokes gained off the T who’s where he’s 11th approach where he 20th and strokes g t green where he’s fourth his biggest weakness is his putter um where he’s kind of like SE wukan and he’s potentially one of the worst Putters in the field but if you can get him and he’s going to be like a baby sewo this week for the price point of 5,500 on DraftKings um that sounds like a spectacular six guy in a DFS lineup for me um so I’m all over Jordan Smith at 5,500 so yeah I think this uh this range is like 80% PGA professionals and Senior Tour um I think because it’s long the only Senior Tour guy I would possibly put is Patty I love padr Harrington he’s what like I said he’s my mom’s favorite golfer maybe outside of Stuart Zink um outside of that very scary category because it’s all volatility all of his volatility um it’s very scary you may have a guy like uh McKenzie Hughes who you I know you touched on has been really consistent you may have a guy um like Adrian way a toi goodness Lord I watch the world tour mostly on mute because it’s like 3 in the morning won this last event um outside of that uh four additional top 30s in his last five starts excluding the win I guess you can add one more including the win he’s been really good um you technically have Rio Hune in here um I don’t support it you technically have K Nakajima world number one am at one point sucks at Majors I I don’t know this is very scary yeah um I mean you can have fun and go back to Michael block who’s 5200 if you feel like he finished 15th here last year um I want you know the last time a PGA Tour professional made back-to-back cuts at the PGA Championship was I think 9192 um so it’s been 30 years oh I just looked at Michael Block’s made cut odds it’s plus four million yeah uh again he’s been absolutely awful ever since he’s played he has played a couple PGA Tour events though uh which is more that you can say for you know some of the guys in this range sorry uh and there is a fun guy I’m going to keep an eye on just because of his story John Dy uh well John Daly but also Matt Dobbins he he hits the ball righty and putts Lefty I don’t know why it’s just fascinating for me you’re not betting him and you’re not putting him in any TFS lineups but at 5100 uh I want to check out his swing just to see how it works with the the righty swing and the Lefty putt how the how the heck he manages to make all that work without absolutely screwing up his golf game so all right uh into the DraftKings lineups we go question question how hard would it be for you or I I’m not Tech savv I’m relying on you to make a DFS contest for everybody listening or watching uh not too hard I could put it in the uh description down below underneath the uh the episode on YouTube and uh podcast done what we’re going to do and I’m making a um a statement here Liam’s going to action he’s going to make a giant contest for free absolutely free uh go ahead fand FanDuel or DraftKings DraftKings have fun both okay I like DraftKings better but at least okay we’re gonna work on potentially both at least DraftKings will be up we can guarantee start with DraftKings yeah we’ll start start with DraftKings it’ll be on Tik Tok Twitter YouTube uh wherever the heck you get your playlist preferably Spotify podcast whatever the heck it’s called I’ve had a long day um join it it’s at we’re going to play it absolutely free we don’t take any money from you guys unless you want to vend M me then I’ll drop it for personal reasons um everything we do is free everything we do all of the money that we make we don’t do any subscriptions we don’t do any sign up here all we ask is you guys potentially leave a like or review or comment or whatever the case is just recognize that we’re putting in a lot of work hopefully making you guys a lot of money and we really appreciate you tuning in especially on weeks like this and with that being said if you want to tail my lineup you’re welcome because I’m starting off hot obviously we got to go sander show SLE 10,900 and this is DraftKings by the way I love it I like I said I think he’s going to win it all uh Brooks cupcake cupcake if you know that reference you know that reference 10,800 Bryson D Shambo 9600 my risky play uh well obviously there’s a little bit more but Adam Scott at 7,300 I actually really like that then Sebastian Soderberg at 5700 and Tim Whiting at 5600 yeah there you go there’s some uh there’s some fun plays there for sure but I’m I’m curious how your lineup will do um again I actually think my line lineup is going to be pretty good as well I if one of the two of wiing and Soderberg make the cut I will do I’m preferring it’s Soderberg for the record but yeah I think it will do really well comparatively because I don’t think a lot of people are going down the whale hole unless you do some research and find those guys or you’re a degenerate like me yeah well I mean I managed to find them and you joke that I’m not that much of a degenerate but that’s okay on my draftking l I went a little bit more middle of the road um again you went quite topheavy there with Xander and Brooks although I guess guess not that much different um I started with Rory uh at 12,000 then I’m going to lve goar at 10,500 then I’m going Hideki matama at 8600 then Alex norin at 7200 Taylor Moore at 6200 and Jordan Smith at 5500 the better Jordan s in my opinion to bet this week time out time out time out you think that Jordan Smith is going to beat Jordan SM I think that Jordan Smith is the better betting option in terms of upside than Jordan this week I that’s what I said I said he’s the better betting option please please listen closely when I say when I say what I say on this podcast because I know Jack does it to make sure everybody else pays attention but when I say betting betting option I’m not saying he’s the better player I’m not saying any of that stuff I am saying this week with with Jordan’s wrist injury with all the other things that go into play like Jordan’s approach play not being good at all I think that there is a better chance to bet on Jordan Smith than there is on Jordan spe that’d be a fun head-to-head but I those odds will never be created I I would do it with you just for the sake of uh fun bucks no no how about a uh how about a beer next time we golf together how about that um uh we are definitely gonna do that um and if and if I win I deserve a lot more than a beer because I took way worse odds but that’s okay all right I know take your take your big play there it’s all right when I beat you I’m G to shove it in your face whatever that drink was we had a by way we had this cocktail when we played golf a couple weeks ago it was called like on par oh my Lord it was Strawberry Fanta vodka the women that served it to us did call it alcoholic laminating called and called us wussies for it but gave their number I yeah then Jack got one of their numbers so they saw my arm bracing like dang anyway anyway back on track I kill with the cart girls or cart men I don’t discriminate um John Ram 11,900 there’s one week that I think it’s gonna be a really good bounce back for Rambo it’s this week uh Brooks kka 11,600 Xander shley 11,400 Alex nornor 8,900 tiger find a Perkins waitress Woods 8500 and then Sebastian Soderberg to round up the lineup baby that’s why I said if Sebastian’s gonna do it I think he’s gonna do it but God that’s crazy than on DraftKings noran is 7200 on fandu is 8900 oh what is he on DraftKings 7200 he’s way cheaper I know there’s the price differen everybody everybody uh screw Adam Scott at 7200 we’re doing Alex nor I don’t know how I missed that yeah I don’t I don’t know Forin that out I don’t know why in the world I would have done that but on FanDuel 8,900 for norin is crazy I must have misclicked that because there’s no way I’m taking Alex or umot I’ve had a bear with Adam Scott but uh yeah no that’s fair um all right for my FanDuel I am going uh Rory mroy 12,100 Le goar 11,800 Tommy Fleetwood 10,200 walking nean 10,000 Taylor Moore 8200 and Sebastian Soderberg at 7700 I think honestly this is weird to say preface because I’m high in Sebastian so it’s a feeling thing I think Taylor Moore is probably the scariest guy of that six group I agree but even then even then Taylor Moore is probably the safest one of the safer options to make the cut of any of those guys in that range so I mean Taylor Moore May finish like 55th that’s fine but if other Five Guys make the cut and Taylor Mo finishes 55th I I want a [ __ ] ton of money this week so it’s all that matter I’m I’m not mad at it so all right into uh into bets we go how many bets you got 25 30 40 who Lord knows everybody strapped the F in um number one uh let me just preface once again uh for anybody that skipped this part you’re welcome uh my name is Jack I’m up 26 and a quarter units on the year bet number one for the PGA champ Championship Xander shle top 20 is minus 110 now again by the time that you probably listen to this in your car on Tuesday morning that might have a two in front of it I’m a degenerate and I set an alarm for 10 a.m. when those odds go live and your boy is betting that that was ridiculous minus 110 for top 20 number two also a minus 110 for top 20 is Brooks cap cup that one’s a little scarier to me but I really love it I think he’s going to out outclass that um cam smith top 40 is minus 160 scary listen we’re supposed to be promoting the bets getting people involved you’re tell okay but here’s the thing though yeah I think top 40s is a good number if you can get him top 40 it’s a good number if you get him top 20 or top 30 I’m a little more nervous about but top 40 I 16 for an open champion who has one of the yeah exactly I had to take that I get it your ball as as I can and let me just preface once again two units up 26 units up baby and that leads me to my next bet which is Matthew pavon to beat Victor Perez at minus 150 I think pavon has not shown that he’s been a high caliber golfer and I think at those odds where Victor Perez has been very average I think it’s well average in a sense of he’s finishing like 40th Place like I’m I’m very happy with what you’re saying because you’re promoting my bet but what okay continue oh uh oh um but Matthew pavon it’s here it’s the sep straa Sam Burns effect more likely it’s been here but the ceiling is higher for pavon so minus 150 I’m happy to take that and it sounds like talking this you may have a different perspective on this just a little bit well hit me with it uh I mean mine is Perez over pavon just because of the fact that uh some of the major finishes of Matthew pavon in well he’s not been in a lot of Majors he was 106 at the Players he was 50th at RBC Heritage he was third from last in Wells Fargo um he did play decently well at the Masters which you know all applaud to him but that’s uh one out of four tournaments um and again this is not going to be an easy course I I I think Pavan is playing an awful form right now if you’re telling me that again as you worded Victor Perez is more of a steady guy that means that 75% of the time Victor Perez is going to beat Matthew Pavan in a head-to-head then if he’s going to go boom boom boom boom up and down and you’re telling me I get that at plus 110 it just kind of makes sense in my eyes in terms of the odds is it my favorite play absolutely not but I actually like the Victor Perez side there over pavon now that you’ve talked about I actually like both of our perspectives which is funny enough I I like the fact that there’s the SE the minus 150 is not unreasonable for a guy that like five weeks ago was was Scotty shuffler was number one number two number three in every category and I also like kind of I guess what I said about you gave me the platform um well all right well finally not a squad ride we have a difference in opinion um I’m gonna post this to social media and you guys let me know wherever the heck the comment button is I don’t know what app I post on I think it’s right here who you guys think is gonna win anyway uh Ryan Fox over Kazuma kabor is minus 200 Kazuma kabor you take a look at his amateur tournaments win win win win win win 30 second second third win win win you take a look at anything that’s not in the amateur or like you know obviously the mini tours I don’t think that guy sniff to cut Ryan Fox is a season professional who has not had the best year but if you’re giving me a head to head there I can’t remember even what I think it’s like from Something New Zealand that might have been like the top New Zealander it’s already 225 it’s it’s already been bumped up to- 225 I’m sure it’ll beus 250 by first thing tomorrow so oh yeah get on this now um I really like that Russell Henley to make the cut is minus 188 easy uh Baden hoot uh minus 150 to make the cut Patrick greed minus 150 to make the cut I like Cory con yeah thank you Cory Connor to make the cut is minus 188 a little scarier but if you’re taking a look at a pure ball Striker you just got to make the cut I think honestly if it’s going to get to 13 under Cuts probably going to be five four over pure ball Striker you’re not really going to get that I don’t know I think it’s going to be good um Alex noren to make the cut I like that guy we’re projecting to dominate minus 163 who the heck is set in that line that’s awesome uh Adam Scott to make the cut is minus 163 I’m higher on Alex noran than Adam Scott I still like Adam Scott um I think Liam just read my note yeah read it out for the group um tiger [ __ ] waitress’s Woods made cut plus 137 that’s the note baby he’s making the cut plus 137 you cannot take that away and especially with the node in there that’s just going to give him the will the energy to get in there uh I have Sebastian Soderberg top 40 at plus 250 Tim whing top 40 at plus 320 I have Xander Schley L Oar and Patrick KL top 40 plus 120 that’s a little scary compared to those odds but if they perform how they should I think that’s honestly really good for top 40 I can’t I like that one yeah 100% um and then honestly I think this is the lock of the tournament very unpopular especially preface Scotty sheffler sixth or worse is minus 120 now let me preface number one Scotty sheffler has the ability to hit this anytime he wants what I talked about earlier was the hands now the hands especially in a major championship are incredible and I know if you take a look at his last five starts it’s been win win runner up winwin so I completely understand that’s a very hard concept but I’m not taking into account like what you had said ear like sleep or semantics or anything like that ball striking I said earlier that that guy could take six pints of heroin wake up from a coma get hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat and still pure a six arm it’s the hands shipping and putting and I think that’s what’s going to break it and I I I honestly see him getting like 11th Place like it’s not going to be like a m cut but you’re telling me in a field of 152 players that six people can’t beat them or I have the opportunity to at minus 120 from an odds perspective and he hasn’t played in three weeks almost a month that’s scary to me so I genuinely like that I mean you know Scotty’s about to finish fifth place you that’s what’s happening now um all right I have way less bets than Jack uh I’m gonna go through really quick we already went over I like uh I like Perez over pavon so I like the other side of that coin from Jack just based on Perez’s consistency and pavan’s lack thereof uh I like Brooks kka top 20 I got them at I got it at minus5 because I’m not psychotic like Jack hopping on at 959 and 59 seconds to look at bets um I have Wen Neeman is the South American that’s over Amano Grio Alejandro toasty and Cameo vas uh vas made the cut at the Masters for his first made cut at a major since 2015 um which is crazy so I really think it’s walki Neiman over Grio and toasty at minus 160 um and then I have Hideki Manama as the top Japanese over uh K Nakajima tkumi Kaya and Rio hit aune um now again is there a little bit more name value to those three names sure but I think keki is pretty much Head and Shoulders Above the Rest of those guys in terms of if his head and shoulders are healthy Well yeah if they stay connected to his body up until Thursday uh then those other three guys in terms of PGA Tour pedigree and things like that um I also like aea over Tom Kim that is plus 100 again I think with the distance uh Tom Kim is potentially going to struggle this week um and my last one could be a wild card but I have it as a normal bet uh Alex noren top 30 at plus 2 20 yeah and for everybody that’s thinking how is Alex noren plus 220 right now his finishing position and if you don’t have your book that’s betting or finishing position right now I believe it’s only bet 365 so if you’re not sure how to bet that that’s how you get that it’s set at uh 59th or better is like minus 120 so 30th at plus 220 number one I think that’s really good but also the odds are spectacular yeah uh for whatever reason they’re not high in Alex norn I think it’s because of his performances in Majors uh but again I’m very comfortable going to him this week based on how he’s done recent form wise so all right are we going winners or Wild Card picks let’s go wild cards picks let’s save the best for last cool um mine Bryson de Sho top 20 in round one is plus 230 now if you’re wondering what a wild card is pick here it’s a bet that we actually like with higher odds than we’re maybe more comfortable putting on now I know we had like a plus 260 plus 250 in mine uh plus 220 in Liams which just something we’re not comfortable putting a full unit on um but in um Bryson shambo’s last let’s take a look at his last six round ones 73 68 65 71 65 and 63 that looks really good to me especially in top 20 number one you’re giving me the distance numbers the putting and I think there’s a lot of Eagle opportunities especially in Ron one where the’s a little bit softer to start the week so I think that’s honestly like a really good number uh yeah I I like your your wild card pick there in terms of Bryson again you and I are both pretty high in him this week uh my Wild Card pick is gonna probably piss some people off but I’m taking cam Smith to miss the cut at plus 225 um again I’ve talked about it a couple times now outside of the putter there is nothing going good about cam Smith’s game right now I I I’m okay taking the chance on this plus plus 225 I really am again I think with his drivers and D driver in his irons he’s going to struggle it is not going to be easy might he sneak in on the cut on the number sure but again that is why this is wild card pick awesome and then we’re jumping into everybody’s winners which again welcome to the turn dog golf podcast we do not on our podcast at least pick the top 10 guys and then one scattered player we do PGA Tour if you know what PGA Tour fantasy is basically it’s like a one andon or I do three kind of like the old traditional three ball so if Liam like he did bet Roy m last week um we Major’s a little bit different because it’s more constricted field but traditionally we pick one guy a year so my pre-year prediction if you watched our first episode of the year was Xander schafle who will also be um or would be my pick right now yeah I also have um Brooks kupka and for Majors we do three instead of two I think Alex noren’s a really good candidate to really sneak into that and then I’m obviously gonna put Tiger Woods here screw the rules I’m putting Tiger Woods in how can you not cheer I hope he wins I hope he does um for my winner picks um beginning of the year I took Rory here um looking back on it now I’m very okay with the fact I took Rory here that was Insight I could I I could we we could not have picked better options in terms of potential winners here outside coming off last exactly coming off last week one and two exactly so we we we are coming with guys on Peak form um so I again I’m very happy I potentially would have picked him had I had I not gone him last week uh as far as this week’s winners for me I got Justin Thomas back in his home state um and Jack kind of talked him up all game all all week or All pod Bryson the Shambo is my second winner um again I think he has the capability to kind of overpower the course and uh and play really well here so I’m game for it yeah I was going to take him and then because ear Liam City he already had it I was like come on no you were you were like man I think I should take him and I was like well I already have him if you want if you want me to move that’s what I was saying that’s exactly what I was saying but I had Alex nor I’m not mad about it I was G to say I would have put Alex noran in if you wouldn’t then so we would just put a swap so regardless we have all of our guys um all right with that that is the PGA Championship gosh next week we go back to the Schwab this this is a really fun week um for multitude of reasons I always think this is a good like start of the summer kind of a kind of a Vibe with PGA Championship coming around it’s a tough Golf Course a lot of the best golfers come around it’s it’s going to be a fun time hopefully you guys saved up a few money over the last a little bit of money the last few weeks with all I done saved up a few money I done saved a few money uh but hopefully you saved up a little bit of money with again the Zurich and then the Wells Fargo and not you know I guess Wells Fargo is a bigger name but there are some lower tournaments that were you know the past few weeks hopefully you saved a little there that way you can spend a little more here at the uh at the PGA in Val I love it I’m so excited oh yeah all right with that we will leave you to it have a good one safe betting have fun doces doces
