and Ander chof started the day with the lead you’re going to have the lead as you Tee It of Tomorrow it looked like it was a grinding challenge out there today and you still were able to get a number under par what were the challenges and how do you feel like you attacked them yeah I mean just the difference is uh playing the ball down um definitely an added variable there with you know the fairways getting in that sort of sweet spot of almost no mud but a little bit um add a little bit of Doubt makes you know you got to be pretty precise out here from you know 200 yards plus um and if there’s like a little bit of on your ball or you’re a little doubtful where the wind is it doesn’t help you on a course like qu Hollow so it was a little bit shaky on in certain spots and referred to it earlier I felt like I had a couple sleepy wedges there a little lazy almost um so just need to sharpen up my process there and committing to a number and a land spot it looks like these greens are getting to be as close to as firm as they were at the beginning of the week and they were firm how do you attack these greens or or do you attack these greens when they’re that firm yeah I mean you can you know you saw you saw us today you know we pulled a few balls back you know if you’re in the Fairway with a wedge in your hand or a short wedge or blob wedge or sand wedge or gap wedge you can get some spin on the ball it’s going to take that big big Leap Forward once it lands but um for the most part you know if you land it into the grain you have a chance of pulling it back and um you just have to be in the right position you talked me yesterday about um staying in the process not looking ahead to try to win for the first time in nearly two years do you feel like you did that today I did yeah you know um maybe I got too too comfortable almost uh just not just wasn’t sort of uh didn’t have enough intent out there at some point you know I was a little upset with the way I handled 11 and 12 from the middle of the Fairway on both um you know having to grind for for an unbelievable part on 11 and then just a terrible bogey on 12 so trying to win a golf tournament against the best players in the world you can’t be doing stupid stuff like that so uh you know happy to be in the Fairway that’s a huge positive with the driver and then just needed you know just a lazy lazy thought process lazy swing and just need to clean that up is is that a wakeup call for something that you need to be better tomorrow yeah you know I’m happy that I was comfortable uh but at the same time you know just just lock in it’s it’s you know we do it for a living so I just need to do a little bit better at that
