hello everyone my name is Rob welcome to connetic R league in this video I’ll be giving you my NRL round 10 tips and predictions so I’ll leave a recap from last week up on the screen for you now I will say I’m you know I’m okay with it I’m happy with it you know still a decent number of Greens in there um but yeah I’m still looking for that elusive eight out of eight but I’m okay with decent back toback weeks but we’ll crack on with the first game and hopefully set up a nice 100% week so kicking things off we have the Dolphins taking on the seagull start with the team list of the Dolphins in the backs they have Trey Fuller jamaa Saro Jake aill Herby farmworth Jack bostu Cody nicara and isaa in the forwards you have Jesse bromich Jeremy Marshall King Mark Nichols Feliz KUSI y Ain and Max Plath on the side of the seagull they have Tom trbovich Jason sa too koua Ruben Garrick Tommy Tallow Luke Brooks and Deli Cherry Evans in the forwards tanel PCA Carl Lon Josh Al Ben trovich Cory woodell and Jake trovich on the bench is G Cham uh TOA sipley Ethan bulmore and Matt Lodge um I just straight up forgot the subs of um the Dolphins that’s dead good that uh Josh Kerr Kenneth bromic Ray Stone and connley Lemuel professional YouTuber so um both teams having some difficulties at the moment nothing too major but mostly Personnel on the side of the Dolphins and well performance on the side of the seagulls both these teams are really really solid in their own right the key thing for me is even without Tabo Fidel full has been putting in some pretty strong performances for the Dolphins and the main area that I’m focusing on just cuz I always hype these two up anyway in the center positions for the Dolphins is avillo and farmworth I think that’s pretty much where the domination is going to come from the Dolphins I think both teams will be fairly evenly matched through the middle I trust Marshall King to speed up things in the middle more than I do Carl Lon I trust him more so I think the Dolphins will be a little bit quicker through the middle I think in terms of the the forward battle he’ll be pretty strong on both sides but I think Marshall King is just going to be the more intelligent more striking player through the center with Trey Fuller backing up very nicely nicara and Kau have done a pretty good job I thought O Sullivan would come back in at some point but there’s been no reason to bring him back in so fair play Luke Brooks could really dominate on the edges but I think defensively and in attack for me it’s just avillo and farmworth are just the key players in this game they will be the difference makers now they’re coming up against koua and Garrick Garrick is still new to the center position but he’s actually done a really good job this year and he’s put up a a pretty nice handful of tries as well well but I think I just I rate avillo and farmworth so highly that they will be the difference makers there’s a few matchups that go in favor of the seagull you know trovich against Fuller you take trovich and on the wings both sides very very reliable in the forwards both very strong but as I said I think Marshall King add a bit more pace and intelligence bit more sting to the middle and then on the edges yeah Jake and Herby they’ve got it so I’m just going to Edge it towards the Dolphins I’m going to take the Dolphins to win one to 12 points next up we have the Panthers taking on the Bulldog starting with the team list of the Panthers I’ll remember the subs this time uh in the backs Dylan Edwards Sonia Tera Paul alati ton May Brian tutle Jerome Le and Nathan Cleary in the forwards you have Moses leotta Mitch Kenny James Fisher Harris Luke Garner leam Martin and Isaiah yo and on the bench is Jack Cole Lindsey Smith Liam Henry and Maverick guire and on the side of the Bulldogs in the backs they have Blake Taff Jacob kirz Bronson Yer Steven kryon Josh adocar Matt Burton Andrew Hutcherson in the forwards is Max King Reed manney Josh Curran vill Army kickout Jamon salmon and Kurt man and on the bench for the Bulldogs is bayy Haywood Samuel Hughes Curtis morren and Jacob Preston the Panthers for me are just too strong overall of course most people will point out the key weakness in this team is probably going to be Alam Matti he is the go-to given given the usual starting team for the Panthers that’s where the Bulldogs will be aiming at so I see a lot of high kicks from Matt Burton aiming specifically for him put him under a lot of pressure and just make him worry Dylan Edwards is very reliable you can’t really throw him off his game even though you know he’s not like without mistakes every fullback um drops a a Matt Burton pass or a kick at some point in their career kind of a wrer passage really um Edwards will be fine Tera is always reliable so is Brian Toto so I think the main focus there is Alama Matti one issue I had with the Panthers last week and of course Nathan Clary wasn’t there but I trusted Brad Schneider to you know keep things going Jerome Lei was just not useful at all not even remotely useful that entire left side of the Panthers was just non-existent because Lui receiving the ball from his right to his left received the ball and guess what went straight back the other way and it was just easy I every time he got the ball I knew it’s just a step on his left foot and he’s back towards the middle of the pitch there was just nothing from him absolutely nothing and I was expecting based on when Brad Schneider came in a few weeks back that he’d be able to control the kicking game and you know be effective but yeah just he wasn’t at his best Lui just didn’t offer anything so that you know that left hand side um may suffer and then the right hand side not having Tango in there for example so I think both the edges could have a little bit of trouble but I think once Nathan clar is then linking up with blue ey down the left hand side that’s where a lot of the points will come they’ll they’ll know the weaknesses of Steven kryon they’ll try and Target him a lot he’s still a very reliable player but I think they’ll they’ll understand the nuances of his game and they’ll Target him in the forwards leot and Fisher Harris will most likely dominate I think Kuran and King both both very solid um in the middle but the pace of all those guys and then you throw in the reliability of leam Martin who I don’t he’s had some off games this season for the most part it’s still been his usual self but some off games and isao is an absolute Class Act through the middle so just in all areas I don’t think the Bulldogs will compete except for maybe on the edges if the Panthers aren’t really as free flowing if they’re a bit Rusty as they were for portions of of last week but yeah I think overall the Panthers they’ll get it right in most departments and with Nathan Cleary back it’s going to be a tough task so I’m going to go with the Panthers to win 13 plus next up we have the eel taking on the Broncos starting with the team list of the eels in the backs they have blae Tangi um Miko will penini Shan Russell bayy Simonson Ethan Sanders and Dylan Brown in the forwards you have Regan Campbell Gillard Joey LK Junior bow Shawn Lane Ryan Matson and Jermaine hopgood and on the bench is Bryce cartright m hessi makoa Joe offen and Kel matagi on the side of the Broncos in the backs they have ree Walsh Cory oats Katon Stags selin Cobo Dane Mariner Ezra Mam and Josh Josh Rogers there we go got it in the four is Cory Jensen Billy Walters Payne H Brendan P cor Jordan Ricky and Patrick carrian and on the bench is Tyson smoothie Xavier Willison Kobe heatherington and Jack gevy so of course the key names still no Mitchell Moses and there’s no Clint gson on the side of the eel that’s going to be a huge loss and at least they’ve been without Moses the last couple weeks to at least try and adjust but then without Clint Goths that’s going to be something that will take some more time but for me one thing that’s very exciting is that the Broncos have they’ve already kind of been through that period this season where they’ve been without key players and they deal with injuries pretty much every week at this point but they deal with them very very well and they’re facing challenges but the I think they’re dealing with them fairly well aside from last week obviously was off for me this will be the Walsh and M show pretty much I still think it’ll be a close affair because they’ve had their issues defensively in attack I I completely trust them because Reese wals can create moments from absolutely nowhere he is ridiculous but I think the few things that will help Rogers especially is that he’s not having to compete against Mitchell mos’ kicking game Dylan Brown can still throw up a decent kicking game here and there but it’s not like he has to live up to Reynolds performances right now and also just a few high kicks towards um tagi at fullback and can really put him under pressure so I’m not expecting too much from Rogers but if he’s having to go at the line taking on full responsibility the kicking game and just let him M get on with what he does best let Walsh get on with what he does best I think the Broncos will be fine in this game and as always as much as Cel Gillard and and bow are class A in the forwards and extremely reliable Cory Jensen is reliable and then for me pay Hass is just a different animal he’s on a different level and has been back a couple weeks now Fitness is hopefully you know back to full and then you throw in players like P cor and Ricky I mean Lan and Matson are solid but P cor and Ricky they’ve been really solid over the past couple years in P cor this year especially and Patrick carrian through the middle has been really impressive and given the issue isues that they’ve had to deal with carrigan’s really young but I think it’s put more on him and over the last couple years so it’s bit of a side note but over the last couple years we’ve seen that carrigan’s a great professional and is a good runner of the ball is very skillful but I think over the last couple weeks given the issues that the Broncos have had to deal with he’s stepped up as more of a leader and as more of an individual player that’s really going to help the forward pack of that Broncos team they’re already very strong but he as an individual he just looks there’s just something about him for me he just looks better and he’s somehow looks more mature this year because of what the Broncos have had to deal with week to week overall I just think the Broncos are stronger but as I always say most weeks the eels have just coached very well and somehow pull out a decent performance from nowhere but I just think the Broncos are the stronger team so I’ll lean towards them so I’m going to go with the Broncos to win one to 12 points next up we have the Tigers taking on the night starting with the team list of the Tigers in the backs they have Jaren bouler Charlie stains starford TOA Justin Olam Brent nen Lan Galvin and Jaden Sullivan in the forwards is Stefano okanu appy carasau David clema Samuel AFU John bitman and Isaiah papal on the bench is Jake simkin Alex TW Alex Sao and fenu Pole on the side of the knights they have David Armstrong Greg Maru Dane gagy Bradman best anari Toler Tyson Gamble and Jackson Hastings in the for is Daniel Citi Jaden brayy Leo Thompson Tyson brazelle kaies Paul and Adam Elliot and on the bench is Fenix crosland Jacob Citi Dylan Lucas and Brody Jones the two key things that stand out for me number one is that Jaden Sullivan is now back in I think that’s going to take a lot away from the structure that the Tigers have had they still been on off like they’ve not been great the last few weeks but the structure will be even worse I think you might fall back on ay carasa and you might control things through the middle but there’s only so much you can rely on a hooker your number seven needs to take on a lot of the responsibility can Jaden Sullivan do that I don’t think so the running game of Lock and Galvin is still very strong and effective but a key deficiency there with Jaden Sullivan at number seven compared to Aiden Caesar second David Armstrong not to put kin ponga down but the knights have not looked that different since pong has been out um decent you know decent start for for David Armstrong pretty Pacey player and I trust I likes Tyson gamble I think he’s a very underrated number six in the NRL I trust him to really dominate in the running game and then you’ve got centers like danne gagy and Bradman best who can you know can really really dominate on the edges but then of course they have to compete against Justin Olam who will do a great job he’ll make the Tigers competitive so with Will Galvin and jine bouer uh will do a solid job for them at number one be very reliable both forward packs both very strong I think the experience of probably API carasa and Papal maybe even John baitman in there will keep them somewhat competitive through the middle but I think the likes of kaies Paul was with his improvements week to week um great players like Tyson brazelle and Citi Leo Thompson has been solid this season will comp compete very nicely in the Middle With the Tigers but yeah I think David Armstrong Good Start Greg Maru fantastic pH finisher Toler having some solid performances and then Bradman best and gagy quality players especially Bradman best we’ve seen him um improve over the last couple years you know including one of the reasons for getting his U his call up for New South Wales Jackson Hastings gets a lot of flack but I think is a Fairly reliable kicker and has some pretty good moments spaic throughout games so I think the knights will be completely fine I don’t think it’ll be a dominant performance both teams pretty low on scoring I think cuz they need some work and I can see the Tigers offering a bit of a fight this week as well because they they really need it based on their current form but I’m going to go with the Knights to win one to 12 points next up we have the dragons taking on the rabbito starting with the team list of the dragons in the backs they have Tyrell Sloan Zack Lomax mosesi sui Jack bird Michel ravala Kyle Flanigan and Ben Hunt in the forwards is Francis moo Jacob Lidle ham C Raymond FAL Mariner Jaden SE and Tom Eisenhuth and on the bench is far Manu Brown Blake Lorry Jack Dellin and Ben Murdoch Milla on the side of the rabitos here we go is Latrell Mitchell um this the first time saying this name so please bear with me is gamat shibasaki uh Jack whiton Michael Cham Isaac tuopu Tom to a twoo there we go Cody Walker and Dion teopa first time hearing his name as well so I apologize in the fours is Daven W Damen cook Shan key Ken katangi J Arrow saliva heav and on the bench is Peter mamalis Talis Duncan Thomas Burgess and Matt French first of all somewhat respectable effort from the ravito last week or you know the week before they’ve been shocking but the last over the last couple weeks it’s been bad but maybe not as bad as I thought it was going to be a huge Miss for them is J gray cuz if he was available I actually would have just put Latrell Mitchell at Center but this is a great opportunity for Latrell Mitchell now to really show what he’s worth and to settle in for the season and to dominate because he has that potential to take over games he can dominate but I just don’t know what the TR Mitchell we’re going to get so a few things Michael Cham at Center for one is going to be a point that the dragons attack and taupa I think is how you pronounce it is probably going to have a tough time at number seven shibasaki will be targeted a lot as well um relying on the you know the veterans I guess of latral Mitchell and especially Jack whiton and Cody Walker Damen cook will be so important um if they can link up nicely with King katangi and J Arrow I think sometimes the edges of the dragons can be pretty weak so if they link up nicely if they can dominate through the middle and link up with those guys they can crash over but for me I’m I can’t believe I’m about to say this I think this will be Cal lanigan’s game I I just see him having an absolute field day and Tyrell Sloan’s going to pop up in the right position supporting Ben Hunt knows how to take on the line and and uh Juke people so I think he’ll find a few gaps in there and tyl Sloan will be in support Z Low Max to score any time you could I don’t want to encourage betting to such a degree but you could put the house on it um but I wouldn’t bet responsibly the forward packs on both sides first of all moo and c I think they’ll do fine I always think that the forward pack of the rabitos is insane but then you can bring on this is ridiculous imagine having a bench where you can bring on Lor Dellin and Murdoch Milla I know Murdoch milla’s ankles and knees are made of paper masche but if he can get through a full game he’s insane it’s just ridiculous that bench is crazy and faran new Brown off the bench at number nine didn’t have a good goal of it h FC in super league but they played him at number seven which he isn’t he’s a number nine and we saw that during the Pacific championships for New Zealand that is a hell of a bench for the dragons first off the starting 13 is already much stronger than the rabbito they’ve been playing better that bench is insane for the dragons it really is so I could see the dragons dominating this game really dominating I think the rabbitors will put up points because they’ve they’ve had their moments they’ve had their moments but my God the dragons something about them I just think Cal Flanigan’s actually going to have a field day I can’t believe I’m saying that and I can’t believe I’m going to say this dragons to win 13 plus next up we have the storm taking on the shark starting with the team list of Melbourne storm in the backs they have S leevy fire logo will warbrick Rema Smith Nick meany Grant Anderson Cameron monster and Tyran wishart in the forwards is Christian Welch Harry Grant Josh King sha bla elasa CA and Trent liero and on the bench is Bronson garlic Joe Chan Nelson as for Solona and Alec McDonald the team list for sharks or for the sharks in the backs is William Kennedy son CA Jesse ramian kale Ido Ronaldo moloto Daniel ainson and Nico Hines in the forwards is Thomas Hazelton Blake brayy Oregon kusy Britain niora Teague Wilton Cameron mckinnes and on the bench is Jack Williams CSC falaki Royce hunt and Braden helli strong bench for the sharks there and even having talakai who has adjusted to life at second row can play second row and Center if needed so that’s very helpful for them but kale Ido keeping that number four spot great for him you know limited experience in the NRL but you know he’s keeping that spot right now so clearly the coach clearly the coach is happy with him so and the thing is if it was taking a lot of production away from Ronaldo mulalo you’d notice so yeah there’s one thing Daniel Atkinson also very inexperienced but you know was the go-to guy at number six for uh Italy during the World Cup up obviously there’s some glaringly obvious problems with the lineup for Melbourne storm there’s no penous and there’s no Hughes they’re just you know blatantly obvious issues Grant Anderson is going to be the main point of attack that the sharks look at and fago with some you know huge kicks if Atkinson and Hayes can catch him out of position they can get a lot of repeat sets you know and especially if the timing’s good CA and mulalo are exceptional on the wings warbrick has been caught out positions a fair few times actually so if F goes out of position and will Warrick which would both happen based on their performances and in experience Atkinson and Hines can find some decent chip kicks into the corners or some grub grubber kicks into the corners or into those spaces like between the the uh touch and the posts like halfway they’ll find some space Ching behind and um the second rows that they’ve got in Niota and Wilton will eat those up and could potentially see some tries from those guys the forward pack I think on both sides will be pretty even Harry Grant you’d normally you know lean towards in the middle but I think Blake Bry is probably just going to be fine elasa CA this season has been quality it’s been absolutely brilliant for them like he was just kind of there last year like during The League last year just you know he was part of the 13 He just existed but now he’s like he’s a go-to player he’s one of the reliable players on that team he’s creating opportunities he’s been a bit of a bulldozer in that um on that right Edge but overall my biggest issue with Melbourne storm is that they lose momentum very easily I understand that this is a Craig Bellamy team and maybe they’ve got a good record against the Sharks but I just think as much as melbour storm have been not necessarily reliable but reliable enough to get the results and they’ve made it close at times I think they can’t afford that to happen and I don’t think they would have afforded that to happen if they had their full team available but given the key players that they’ve got missing I think the Sharks will just will just clearly dominate in all areas cuz yeah Melbourne s they lose um they just lose it through the middle too easily and sometimes they build up pressure and all of a sudden they’re on the back foot and the Sharks will just destroy them especially mulitalo definitely on for a triy or too so I’m going to go with the sharks to win 13 plus next we have the roosters taking on the Warriors starting with the backs of the roosters they have James Tesco Daniel tupo Joseph Sali Joey Manu Dominick young Luke Keri and Sam Walker in the forwards is Jared Warrior hard Greaves Brandon Smith Lindsey Collins Angus kryon Nat Butcher and Victor Radley and on the bench is Connor Watson nfar h white Spencer linu and Terrell May on the side of the Warriors is Chance Nichol karstad Del wenis znak Rocko Berry Roger toara Sheek Marcel Montoya Tamar Martin and sha Johnson in the forwards is Adam fur Blake Wayde Dean Bon aora Jackson Ford Mitch Barnett and to Harris and on the bench is Dylan Walker Tom Ali janga and Adam pompy this is the first time probably since the Great Wall of China was built that I actually trust the roosters going into a game I cannot remember the last time I actually trusted the roosters and at this point I actually do it’s ridiculous I’ve backed the Warriors twice um in the last two weeks and they’ve just let me down not necessarily on just you know close results performance- wise has been pretty damn awful like execution has been bad defensively has been poor too many errors too many penalties just not even getting the basics right has been a key issue and off the back of that they can’t really do anything but yeah the roosters now are in a position where I trust them they’re actually linking up well getting Joey man more involved Dominick young has been a little bit more solid Kiri has been better the last couple weeks than Sam Walker it’s been solid uh James Tesco has had a much better start to the season than he did last year and has been a lot more consistent Sali and tupo have been reliable down that left hand side the forward pack of um hard Greaves and Collins will be really strong may see a few penalties from Warrior hardgreaves though so we’ll see about that Angus kryon since he’s come back in last couple weeks been really really strong we know what he’s about as a player we know what he’s like he’s done a cracking job and he’s extremely dangerous so is not but and Victor Radley is always you know reliable strong Defender through the middle and strong Runner I just think in all departments you know You’ kind of trust for new Blake to take the fight to them in the middle but I think they’re still actually missing Luke metov like he’s the only you know you look at this team on paper the only key player that’s really missing is probably Luke metov who just fits that system well and that’s not to say that Tamar Martin isn’t a valuable player he really is but maybe just the whole thing works better but as I said the Warriors just need to get the basics right and they haven’t for two weeks now I do trust them to get back on track a little bit with that side of it but the roosters as I said I’m I’m trusting them now they’re starting to get things right don’t you let me down now I’m actually trusting you so don’t go letting me down I just think in all areas The Roosters will be a lot stronger and they’ll just find ways to put up points all over so I’m going to go with the roosters to win 13 plus fin for this round we have the Titans taken on the Cowboys starting with the team list of the Titans in the backs they have AJ brimson Philip Sammy Brian Kelly Harley Smith Shields JoJo fita Chris Randall and Kieran foren in the forward is moi fatua Sam verel Jamon joliff David fita Bo fermo and Isaac Leo and on the bench is Keno Kinny Ain Clark k h and Josiah pahulu hopefully I didn’t butcher that one on the side of the Cowboys in the backs is Scott drinkwater Cal Fel Valentine Holmes vill Army V Viet and Sammy um Val there we go uh Tom dden and Chad townzen in the forwards is Jordan mcle ree Robson Griffin neem um Kil keu faki Jeremiah nanay and Ruben Cotter and on the bench is hel Muki Thomas MCA get in M Sam McIntyre and Jason tamalo first of all I’m a warron wolves fan if you guys didn’t know um this is the first time I’m going to see Micha play I don’t know if he was um don’t know the last time he played probably Reserve grade if I’m not mistaken but I’m just I’ve wanted to see him play for a while so I’m really excited so not not only is he there who was actually so instrumental in a lot of the performances especially in the early part and the back end of last season for Warrington you’ve got Helm luki who can play second row if you need him to probably loose forward lock I should say and probably at the centers if if he has to play there and then you’ve got Jason tamalo on top of it as well so that forward pack of the Cowboys will dominate my biggest issues first of all I’m happy that AJ brimson is back in a position that he’s familiar with I think um via and vame will be key targets both I think will be okay but I think there’ll be some issues over there which the Titans will look to exploit how it’s going to go for Chris Randall at 6 I don’t know they’re having to kind of throw some things out there I think based on paper I want to say 13 plus the Cowboys but I’m losing a a tad bit of trust in them at the moment and the Titans over the last few weeks have at least looked a bit more competitive than they have done especially since the first few weeks they were just nowhere to be seen but they started picking up some better results so I think they will potentially make it somewhat competitive at Point they will put up their own points but the C I think a very high scoring game is likely here because I think both teams have issues defensively but I think it’s completely fair to lean towards the Cowboys I still don’t think 13 plus because Town’s end is a little bit 50/50 with this kicking game at times Scott drinkwater has not really had the same production as he has the last couple years same with Tom Deen I’d say as well but I think it’ll just be the forward pack of the Cowboys will really dominate in this game CU you look at who they can bring on Thomas MCA the Cowboys will be completely fine so I’m going to go with the Cowboys to win 1 to 12 points so to recap my predictions for this week I’m going to take the Dolphins to win 1 to 12 points uh the Panthers to win 13 plus I’ll take the Broncos and the Knights to win by 1 to 12 dragons sharks roosters 13 plus and the Cowboys 1 to 12 terms of winners confidence amount about 90% I think most of these should go that way I think Panthers Broncos Knights dragons roosters and cowboys should all be pretty safe seagulls could probably beat the Dolphins um I think maybe the Storm come up with an interesting performance in terms of margin confidence 70% I’m very unsure about a lot of these because I think the Broncos could actually beat the eels by 13 plus of course the seagulls could then beat the dolphins that throws that out out of whack I could see potentially see the rabitos keeping it competitive against the dragons at points and Melbourne storm could always keep it close against the the Sharks and also the Cowboys might actually just completely dominate against the Titans so there’s a few in there I’m not entirely sure about but 90% on the winners 70% on the margins so that’s going to be it for my NRL round 10 tips
