The PGA TOUR heads to Charlotte, North Carolina this week for the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Club – site of the 2017 PGA Championship and 2022 Presidents Cup. This is the sixth signature event of the season, which features an elite field of 69 players. Rory McIlroy returns this week to a place where he’s had plenty of success. He’s claimed three victories here (2010, 2015 and 2021), as well as five top-10s. He enters this week with momentum after winning the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with Shane Lowry two weeks ago. Wyndham Clark will also tee it up as he looks to become the first player to win back-to-back here. This was Clark’s first win on TOUR, and he has claimed two more titles since that victory – including the U.S. Open. Xander Schauffele will also be in Charlotte this week as he hopes to secure his first win. He finished second here in 2023 and claimed T25 or better in 10 of 11 events this season. Others to look out for are Max Homa, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa and Tommy Fleetwood.

here’s Ben Cole’s finished second a week ago here at the third get in oh baby we made the switch at the perfect moment how about a smile Ben CO’s but up here at the bunker almost ho high Roy just going to roll it down there got caught up in The Fringe a little bit it’s still a good shot but they wanted to fly it about six more inches I count three of those that he missed yesterday I’m sure he thought about that last night yeah this going down the hill whole location running away once he carries that top slope there so this is very difficult coming out of that deeper grassp but uses the slope beautifully this could go in what a great golf shot uh here at Quail Halla and this hole doesn’t happen to be in one of those stretches little back into the breeze it’s always back into the breeze that looked tasty from the Fairway my goodness what a shot that’s just fantastic this tied for second as the hardest hole yesterday tricky one here it actually goes downhill right to left when it gets on the green yeah just do that looks like the right spot right there yeah really well done lry mroy will have that short one to get within one of the lead see if Ox can get it far enough out [Music] there mhm yes he can Beauty there taking it out right at the flag stick which is very smart oh yeah what movement just a couple of feet from the cup theala heating up coming out of the first cut this is probably the hardest green on this golf course especially in this back right portion of the green and of course he hits It Go guess it’s a break too well it’s this club that’s been holding him back this year nice the first birdie today for our leader moves to eight under see if he can dial this in he’s trying to just carry the bunker by probably three or four Paces would be my guess this looks pretty good Big Bounce and check look at this from Jordan SP check it up to about a foot and a half come up with a number to that would cover that bunker spinson just a little flick of the wrist here we go oh dude how does it have a spin here’s Tony feno at the [Music] 10th oh yeah out of the greenside bunker great touch at the vpar championship earlier this season W that finish looked like he’s trying to hold hold something off a little bit and that little yellow ball is going to get closer and closer Doug Nick Taylor just over the back of the green and 11 this is pretty straightforward from here pretty flat maybe even slightly uphill there you go take care of it Nick Taylor at four rather Jake n now that’s fantastic nap three feet from a birdie and Xander Sha’s second shot he’s got to bump this into the hill I would think I don’t think you can land it yeah it’s exactly what he tried to do now it’s just got to sit [Applause] down good read good stroke tack on another one the 10th Hole Green greenside bunker yesterday oh did he hold it again yesterday he came up short left the pin obviously in a different position and he hold it this also coming out very high on a much better line Looks like good distance too yeah he sure landed it right where you were talking about Johnson got the big hop Xander at the 10th of wet fly down here got to get really good contact here and then let it run out there’s the downhill to the pin and that is how you do it this is Jason day at 11 over the green count it Jason day piece of cake for him good drive down the left side hle is also cut on a shelf on the left side oh hello Patrick Klay lengthy one here to get it to Red figures make a slow up the hill had enough though Lois who is this C that’s uh Sam Burns back there he’s a new Dead he’s also the best t-shot of the day at the eighth hole it will make his new son happy yes it will this is a nine iron and this is a nasty hole location aggressive why wouldn’t you be what a shot so much confidence that’s right now took that whole location on no problem for another birdie after a terrific t- shot as firm as it is Kurt I think he’s got to land this just short of the green he did look at this oh kind of like that c really well done wasn’t it landed it exactly on his spot a steady round he’s played today Kurt three birdies no Bogies solid just short of this par five and two great lie not much hinge yeah one bounce with some spin there speaking of Jason day here he is for birdie to try to get to Seven under and does so day continues his good play Woodland is at six for birdie and he could use one look at the touch Woodland got one to fall he has the ability now to go through his goal should be is to win it is to boat race the field that’s that’s the key the boat r at the top the way he just putting putting it in the slot shot off shot thanks for watching the PJ Tour on YouTube watch another video right here
