apologetic this this guy where we saw Luke Donald M having to play way right here just trying to get on the green are you mad for it the his ball great shot [Applause] Rory duffner for a three at the [Applause] third so Rory will have a chance to reduce the deficit to just one maing quickly to look at D’s wall same line [Applause] for a half to remain two down should be a formality well done plays his best goal when he gets off to a good start maroy makes a few early puts it seems to relax him down hold it wi that’s a good shot clipped the tree off the te so he was hitting a long iron in there good spot to be too 168 yards out you could be do doing a bit closer but good line in Johnson was quite lucky CL at the bigri bounced out into the fway Glorious iron shot fromter again right behind Eagle he chipped in here the he did it again wonderful shot from marar gim me birdie [Applause] pter for Eagle maryan for birdie so nothing to lose just left it short was going heading for it but he knows he’s angry at leaving it short there when his partner’s in for four and his Partners already hold a monster here Eagle putt for Zack Johnson to win the [Applause] hole oh my goodness gracious well that’s some four from dner there dust his chip hold a big 40 footer for [Applause] four doesn’t make it easier necessarily to get at this flag particular if you typically draw the ball which he does well on the green but we know how tricky that putt is moves the ball left to right ideal to get at this flag very good shot from Jason [Applause] seems to be just beginning to find his game I hope I’m not tempting fate fate was tempted he seems to take quite a long swing for these f parts and then hit it very softly not on this occasion s poter can hold it for a birdie on a slide up slope should pretty close slightly overdone [Applause] so easy to get away to the right in poter whole [Applause] haved us P still one up going to the power five sth S Johnson at seven oh good shot and D’s in pretty close as well that’s a really good bunker shot from Zack [Applause] Johnson inan bter catches the edge but it doesn’t [Applause] drop to actually get the all to drop from the edge of the hole defin a win on seven you see that one’s just fallen in on the edge you’re struggling with your form a little it would probably go the other way so they’re back to two [Applause] up can see it all before you it’s one way you’d expect expect to be able to at least find the middle of the [Applause] green that’s what happens if you cast the flag slops away [Music] shorter back swing there a little bit of a crisper hit so one long one shy look a good fluid swing there from polter oh on the money right down the throat of the flag [Music] marai touch left not too bad so a couple of chances for the Europeans there Zack Johnson a bit long Jason duffner short two down they are though not far away just just about perfect well we would say nowly when things go for you to go in these boys are two up and that one didn’t so we check breaking Fortune for the Europeans there he p a first gate for Europe on the eighth attempting a birdie almost exactly that side of the hole from where Johnson was this to win the hole will it stay up oh it won’t get up was right in the middle too now maroy to win the hall they got to start hauling them soon two down oh that’s a talk about that had missed as soon as he hit [Applause] [Applause] it lob W for mro’s got to get this up very quickly if he’s going to go for the flag on the green they one really close but all have chances of sorts I could out of the easiest part there there’s only one on the same level really well he’s pausing generally means he likes it that’s pretty good and the breeze really just blowing up leaves flying across the Fairway in H hits it pulled it a bit more aggressive now his partner got the four left it short not quite got the speed this afternoon Rory really got to be more aggressive for these parts when your partner got having a shy it 274 out it’s got to draw it a little little bit looks like a good shot now Jason duffner third shot at the power five from 143 yds into the wind front flag that’s an excellent shot from duffner that’s poter ball you see just short of the Green meloy in the bunker back to the 10th Zack Johnson just a little wedge from 89 yards bread and buttershot you’ve got to get them in close and he’s done beautifully [Applause] again D going first for birdie no you can see his partner’s ball there but 3 ft probably past Zack Johnson pter for birdie maroy is already missed Zack Johnson’s in close we need another one from Ian and we’ve got it he is extraordinary isn’t he unbeaten what two out two this [Applause] week Johnson for the half doesn’t miss many of these fine B beautiful third shot [Applause] in hter down the hill trying to find the corner of the dog bre on the 11th some miles right M far left is here right over the corner of that tree and the left he’s trying to hit from there and at least make four Rory mroy in fairly close about 7 ft away a really good part [Applause] oh dear that’s not one of polter’s better efforts but that might be his worst Jason def much closer of course with the popup but Johnson trying to make that unnecessary with his power [Applause] [Applause] attempt he’s going to be one of the few players playing Five matches in this riding cup and he’s I think really feeling the pace is quite tired with all that’s been going [Music] on hold it for the four and the half [Applause] back to the 13th Jason duffner 236 yards [Applause] very good shot right into the heart of the green right over the top of the flag maoy and 13 trying to use his power get this High over top of the flag to get it to settle quickly oh it does that’s a magnificent shot but he’s got to hole at their two [Applause] down dner for a birdie at the 13th impul has already played out from the mound of the back and come up short he couldn’t believe that it stopped as short as it did surprising amount of Breeze late in the day normally it tends to die away at this time of the day if anything I think it’s probably strengthened cter hasn’t been asked to P toate the par this one’s for birdie to win the hole well we haven’t seen that sort of reaction from Rory maroy much and this ride a cup but his timing might just be [Applause] perfect now D first out the bunker crucial stage here Zack Johnson’s ball just over the Trap oh it’s beautiful what a great shot under pressure from dner he really is cool as a cucumber pter little up pill lie here trying to see if he can do better than Duff’s shot a good one if he does it’s well played but work to do pter though to make the birdie on 14 for a half well done Ian poter toall very tight and tense in these last three matches nobody giving anything away he’s like a bad rash buil or he just won’t go away definitely now with no choice but to lay up on the 15th with his partner in the water say that’s not the best of layups either with the flag over on the right you would think sorry Rory Mao’s already gone with a three-w missed it left go with the driver 36 yds down wind [Applause] [Music] if he wants to get close to the flag with his normal shape he’s taking it in over the water maybe he’ll try and fade one looks that’s what he’s trying to do from the swing rehearsal [Applause] [Music] there only one place for that agas in [Music] gas but D wanted to see what he could do before playing from back down the Fairway his second shot from 99 yards needs all his Renown accuracy here to a very tight flag so easy to go a little bit long or a little bit right and off down into the soil that’s kind of where tiger was good shot but Mar and pter both in the left hand bunker maoy with a harder lie coming up a Downs slope right the way across the 15th green he hits it a little bit strong over the back and down into the swell excellent shot from Michael Roy that feed back round about eight 7 ft beautiful shot inside duffner which is important so he’ll know what he has to do they’re one down polter with an easier lie left to the 15th green second shot that’s got a run well that’s not too bad Mr pter absolutely Magnificent the boy has nerves of Steel that’s going to leave dner with a 15 ft P for the half he hit it weakly and it moved away to the right this to stay one up it’s not H it either all square all square going to 17 oh good boys everyone down around the 16th just a question of How brave you want to be here G for this flag at the front come up a little bit short and you go all the way down the steep slope at the front of the green 40 or 50 yards back down the hill down down [Applause] [Applause] do up the hill on 16 match all square lot of noise he’s staying calm that’s an excellent shot as [Applause] well judged it perfectly to carry that front bunker maroy last to play into the green first apart a bit disappointing fast one down her right to left [Applause] P draft into putt first so they haven’t got the pie yet but polter putting for a birdie down the hill three P from Rory maroy but a one p fromter what a pop from pter oh I love him the man is absolutely a machine in these conditions fantastic part from [Applause] [Music] bter turning left the say get down oh beautiful shot oh magnificent [Applause] pter that’s going to be uncomfortable [Applause] [Music] Zack Johnson I think probably won’t want to hit his normal draw here danger of overdoing it with the right to left wind you’d rather be holding it up on that put it in looks like a good line magnificent we’ have seen some golf here today wonderful shot there from Zack Johnson [Music] [Applause] yeah [Music] I this should be perfect for Duffer’s little fade probably aim straight at the flag the wind should hold it straight he’s a pretty straight player [Music] anyway dner and maoy off the green but Johnson and pter very much on [Applause] it probable that this is for the half in Two SC he is Relentless he just keeps on hauling those pressure PS remarkable performance by Ian pter the seventh biry of the day is Fourth in concession [Music] that’s something pretty special over the last 20 25 minutes last two groups going through there and both sides making a two on a very tough par three they’ll have watched all this unfold they know exactly what the situation is all four on The Fairway poter might be playing with the world number one but he wants to do this himself 156 yards out there is a bit of wind against him off the right B slightly above his feet tend to go right to left a little come on no not bad just pushed [Applause] we right saying come on wind that’s a beautiful shot there from Zack Johnson beautiful shot from Zack Johnson it’s amazing it’s really getting pretty dark out here now it’s actually quite difficult to judge distance too many more minutes of [Music] daylight oh magnificent from dck oh Stone Face does it [Applause] [Music] [Applause] again well four chances for birdie somebody will make one [Applause] Europeans took the lead for the first time at the 16th with that stunning put from me and pter polter as waren says has had four birdies in a row a match in which the US have led from the very first hole when they had an opening birdie [Music] [Applause] he’s number one in the world but the nerves got to him there this be bit extra pressure on this part I [Music] think couldn’t be any more could they well he’s got a hole it either way knows that a very good very good he wouldn’t have had to haul it if buil a Holes his which he’s going to have to do again the in pilter wonderful bird for d a smile well done great golf that’s a great three from Jason dner so once again it’s all down to the man who loves the rder cup Ian pter can he make it five birdies in a row to come back in 30 now these people shouldn’t be Shen that there are always a few idiots around but you’ll know Sam there are players who say they enjoy the pressure they enjoy this they don’t mean it pter does he absolutely does he relishes in it deep in thought pensive he knows how important this part is he’s hold a few in his time himself knows exactly what polter is going through once more into the well poter is a prince for Europe can you believe it five birdies in a [Applause] row Europe win the final match share the session and Tra 106 g
