last week we teased on Friday talking about doing all NFC North team because we had a non Lions fan in the building and he was kind of giving some non-biased takes and we were like yeah I guess like how would you rank a lot of these guys over the rest of the division because that’s also Hot Topic out too the division’s gotten a lot better yes it has a lot better I believe even the Vikings with you Nick but not to nine but you went back I went to eight you went to eight you said 10 we’ll give him that I said under he said undefeated we heard it so we decide to do our all NFC North offensive teams tomorrow will be our defensive teams Jack labor who starts first here what the [ __ ] is that I’m going for hey all right have you seen the video of the guy running around pump faking like he had a gun no that’s horrible why would you do that he deserves get shot that’s [ __ ] up to do people that shit’s so funny that dangerous game to play all right Chris throw it up this is my all NFC North offensive team honestly I didn’t want to go first but I can’t let just get away finger point me finger gun me like that what at quarterback a you put Christian der Shaw man I put TR Christian dhaw but I got P at right tackle because technically right now Pine is still at right tackle yeah p is the best tackle in football just playing simple I ain’t going lie I struggle with Christian deaw too I was I was wondering whether I should put him in or not where you end up putting him uh no no I didn’t my whole offensive line is the Lions offensive line okay oh yeah we talked about that yeah honestly I’m not mad at that cuz I have they’re the best offensive line of football we have yes we have five members of the offensive line three of Min our Detroit Lines Frank rag now that’s a gimme at the center position P give me at whatever tackle position you wanted to put him at I wouldn’t care if you wanted to take Tristian ghaw and bump him the right tackle just for the [ __ ] of it because pan is him I would have been mad at that either but I also have obviously Kevin zitler and I’m not going to be surprised if uh Christian another Christian mahogany becomes available on that list too I can I can see it happen guys Das see it happen tight end I know was be I guess conversational I put these both on my Instagram and my ex I did have some people say Le pora but for me it’s just I mean I’m sorry they said Hockinson but for me it’s LTS the pots won met him great dude uh the real reason though he got that yet like when he gets that ball he’s almost like a baby grank in a way where he’s just still scooting along he’s kind of you need two people to tackle him at all times he’s just reliable to be that reliable in your rookie season is high value I think he could have easily been second Team all pro close to Breaking rookie records have never been touched wide receiver one and two without however whichever order you have him I’m I don’t care about that but Justin Jefferson and I’m St Brown were going to be on this list yeah I think the third receivers where you start to have debate for me it was DJ Moore I I just I could see the argument if any of you guys had Keenan Allen I I totally understand it but I just think DJ Moore offers everything at every level so I just had to go with him I think he even put him in the back field at times too and then uh the running back I thought was another one was like you give me it’s jir Gibbs but no actually you had somebody different a couple people on on X had a different I forgot people Josh Jacobs you had him in your top five at one point last year so yeah some people had Josh Jacobs for me personally I have jir Gibbs some situation with DJ Moore do a little bit of everything and I know I know the one that people are looking at first you know you got to explain that my dog I know they’re going to come at me this is a non-biased list I am Roo I’m a Jared goit but I can admit people are right like I get that you think Jordan love is better than jarro G right now yes you crazy yes I think if you give Jordan love the same situation that you’re giving Jared G Jordan love produce just as much on top of an extending place I love that between the two of them Jordan love had more touchdowns less interceptions you want to throw fumbles in there too okay Jordan love had less turnovers as a whole than Jared G also more touchdowns than Jared go also have the running game to help him out there that Jared G had also didn’t have the same offensive line that Jared G had he did literally produced more with less turnovers and got bounced in the second round with less and Jared go he did against the 49ers the same team that bounced us out what we you know what I’m saying what we doing there uh more touchdowns in the playoffs in Jared G you know only thing Jared golf had more than him this year was yards that’s okay yeah I I hate quarterback yard stats anyway sometimes you get a lot of yak involved with that too we have the yak King on this team what I just tell you I like about Sam Lora the yak like Jared golf’s great J the golf is is good he’s our guy I’m riding with him we’re going to win a Super Bowl with him this year but if we to step out and be non-biased I I would take your love skill set wise is better so we are going to win a Super Bowl this year I’ll say it [ __ ] it all right at least you got that out get these dick suckers off my back it’s fair it’s fair uh I I have a very very different opinion than you in multiple position groups on this one multiple I want to see this throw my throw up my list Chris let’s see this so my list of the all NFC North is literally the same exact thing as easy except for I have Jared go a quarterback literally player for player it’s the exact same thing and like you said uh Christian daraw I’m giving him the the look over Taylor Decker just because of what he can do how good he is for how young of an age he is Elon Jenkins had I think only four penalties and no sacks allowed last year from that left guard position he is the best left guard I believe in the NFC North maybe in the NFC the dude’s a monster out there Kevin zit we’re putting in there because of what he can do I am giving Sam leapor the nod over TJ hackinson because I think he is more of a game breaker I think he is like you said he’s got the yak yards when he’s got the ball in his hands I see him as more of an elusive threat than a TJ hackinson DJ Moore I’m putting over Keenan Allen or any of the Packers receivers just because how explosive he is Keenan Allen was it was close with me for DJ Moore and Keenan Allen but Keenan Allen’s falling out of his prime while DJ Moore is in the middle of his prime I think DJ Moore is becoming the better all around receiver while Keenan Allen is going to be tapering off here in the last couple years of his career jir Gibbs again like you said he’s do it all do everything back I think he’s a top three back in the NFL I think every single he is the most explosive running back in the NFL by the Numbers had more 20 yard plus touches than any other running back in the NFL he is a free of nature when you get him in space he was sharing a back field with another thousand yard rusher which is why that he wasn’t putting up 1,600 rushing yards like other guys out there so if you give jir Gibbs a workload like other guys are seeing he’s going to be putting up nasty nasty numbers so I think he’s the best back and then I’m going with Jared G we had this this discussion before but I need to see it again out of uh out of Jordan love before I’m going to say he’s better than G we’ve seen go do this multiple times multiple years in multiple different situations and I know the situations have always been good with guys like Shawn McVey and and uh Ben Johnson calling his plays and good pieces around him but it’s not like Jordan Love’s out there playing with a bunch of bumps right Jordan Love’s playing with a great play caller and play designer in Matt laflor he’s got four fantastic receivers those are all I can’t call them fantastic receivers because the same way you’re saying you got to wait to see what Jordan love is half those guys are rookies Indo second year play yeah but what do you what do you always say about wide receiver in in the NFL that is a spot where you hit the ground running that is a spot that translates very easily when you’re a high Talent wide receiver in college to being a high Talent wide receiver in the NFL I like those guys a lot I think the top the four Packers wide receivers are better than the four Lions wide receivers W when you line them up and stack them down one through four no way yeah obviously we’re obviously if you look at our top two is better and one is better that’s another thing to is like he spreads the ball there and he weighs it over a lot because Ain R is disgustingly better than anybody else on the Packers but one through four I think the Packers wide receiver cor is deeper than one through four for the Detroit Lions see I don’t necessarily see as that way more than I see this kid J Jordan love spreading spreading the love like spreading the ball and part of that can be play call too but I just think he throws it to the open man he extends those plays and just gets the ball out to whoever it may be I think that’s why you see as a fantasy player any guys in the chat that played fantasy you know it was kind of tough every week you didn’t know what receiver going to go off for the remade Packers jar G does the same exact thing well no because you know I’m R Brown his every single week yeah but you don’t know if Josh Reynolds is going to get four catches for seven yards or if Jameson Williams is going to get a couple catches for yard yeah because Brown is blatantly the bester out of all talking you interrupted me when I was explaining my list you don’t have that in the Green Bay Packers there was a receiver that you knew every single week is going to go yeah CU nobody on the Green Bay Packers is as good as Aman rain Brown if they had Aman R Brown on the Green Bay Packers he’d be getting just as many looks but because because we have a first team allp proo player at that position obviously you’re going to prioritize getting him the ball more but outside of that you don’t know who’s going to beat you on this Lion’s offense you don’t know if it’s going to be Sam laap pora or if it was Josh Reynolds or if it was Jameson Williams one week you didn’t know if it was jir Gibbs obviously Aman Rasin Brown’s going to get his because he’s the best if not the second best receiver in the division he’s a first team All Pro Player so you’re not going to not throw him the ball if the Packers had amanas Brown they’d be giving him the ball just as much and then distri it around him I can’t we can’t say that for sure those like if fans are butts all whatever analogy people use for that one but no when you watch Jordan love just they just spread the ball around more uh even the top three receivers are all within like 200 yards of each other jayen Reed Romeo dos and Davon Wicks that’s without Christian Watson even being healthy eight touchdowns for Reed eight touchdowns for dobs it’s just kind of all over the place but I already know what kg’s got kg you the Detroit’s first round pick yes sir all right ultimate I know you got JG on there but where you at with that a very biased uh lineup of mine but you can go ahead throw mine up um pretty much I I did mine based off of the 2023 stats um so I ended up of course Jared G uh left tackle oh we didn’t have the image oh know I get it together Chris I don’t think I don’t think I think we got it in late all right well let me uh let me pull it up on my phone yeah yeah but um yeah I had uh jarro go of course at left tackle I struggled with uh I struggled with Taylor Decker because I wanted to put Christian I mean or Dar Shaw there but um Taylor Decker he he had maybe two more sacks than him but they had the same amount of penalties so to me Taylor Decker is the better of the tackles even though he had two more penalties the rest of the offensive line a lot of the offensive lines in NFC North are real still relatively young so I tried to just stay with the more experienced o line but um at tight end you got Sam leap Porter best rookie tight end season ever really um especially in the modern day um Justin Jefferson of course best wide receiver in the NFC North but then you got am man ra St Brown who’s right on his heels I got DJ Moore he had more yardage and uh and less reception so I I took him instead of Keenan Allen and then uh David Montgomery man cuz he just he had it all he had the double digit touchdowns uh over 12200 yards and I think his his season was really slept on last year I know jir Gibbs the more electric he had more yards per carry but I chose to go with David Montgomery so that is my list very lion Centric but um yeah I’m not mad at it and tomorrow too we come back with the same list except for to be the defens side of the ball excited when we get back actually yeah we didn’t get Nick’s take on that all right when we get back let’s get some takes on it I’ll read some stuff in the chats Nick reactions yeah I think the offensive side on this one I mean it’s pretty chalk to be honest like you guys obviously had very similar lists but obvious it’s it comes down to the quarterbacks I mean that’s what is controversial here is you have Jordan love over Jared gof I’m still at the point we got to see it for the second year um out of Jordan love I think he does have an extreme H an extremely high upside but I do want to see it another year for Jordan love and uh the fact that JJ McCarthy was not your number one quarterback uh just playing but yeah that was my biggest takeaway of it I already know chat’s I’m I’m start reading them but I already know it’s going to be Golf Stuff um O’Neal just go and rout for another team uh what else we got here Jared golf doesn’t get injured by trying to run like a running back cardier um I commented to just the fans that I try to take the bias out when when doing my analyst he says nobody else does you’re the only smart one dot do dot what about Dion Dion’s my guy he my brother been going live with him every single Tuesday Le up to the draft even did one last week right Dion’s goated have you seen Dion’s room all right have you seen there a lot lions in there Dion’s a Slappy for sure Dion’s Slappy ad his Dam so yeah that’s my guy love Dion um a mobile quarterback gets a lot of Praise says shift God cardier brings up Anthony richen getting hurt Jordan loves not Anthony richon so I don’t you I don’t know how that one comes in but uh yeah Boer I I did put love over golf in my all NFC North offense and by the numbers less turnovers more touchdowns that’s including on your feet and throwing Jordan love Adam beat with I’d say a lesser off defense in my opinion probably good I’d say I don’t to say just good play calling because I do look at Ben Johnson as like yeah goated but pretty pretty damn good play call it’s not that big of a fall off like just yeah he’s up there for sure Le offensive line I would say he’s a top five play caller in the NFC M the FL for sure yeah that’s so it yeah it’s like Shanahan McVey Ben Johnson laflor and I don’t even know who I’d put in five yeah uh buer ask does wi counts do wins count no not quarterback stat for me win and quarterback stat well I mean it’s not an actual stat but winning should matter though win it should matter and I with that too like we saw here firsthand like Matthew Stafford 5,000 yards season 5,000 yards season losing season losing season just over 500 like that’s why I don’t deal with yards too much even in the Jordan love vers uh a or Jordan yeah Jordan love versus Jared G you know Jared G would take that in yardage you also look at the amount of attempts I think he had like 20 more attempts as well mhm you know what I’m saying but yards you can make you can draw some context to them touchdowns interceptions that’s why I live in off of like my quarterback value yeah I mean that’s what wins and loses you games is is scoring touchdowns or throwing interceptions so I’m not mad at it I like I said if if you want to argue the Jordan love over jerro Goff stuff you can you can argue that but I’m I need to see it at least one more year at the quarterback position because that is the most important position especially when tape gets out out on you and teams have a full year of you playing the quarterback position they’ll be able to game plan and scheme better I took get exact what DCP once said if you’re picking a quarterback to build a team you’re picking you know who I don’t want to say it out lot because is gross because he is yeah this was an all NFC North so that’s why I felt like he had to be gol like no that’s why I’m that’s why I’m second best quarterback in the NFC what do you mean he has less touchdowns than your love and more turnovers it don’t matter man he got to the NFC championship they got B by the same team play s a week earlier yeah I’m not going to put that as an argument because that’s that’s a team that’s a team accomplishment yeah yeah but he was a lot of the reason they got there 70 completion percentage throughout the playoffs like come on again not team accomplishment I get it I hey I I get a lot of people Jared go fans I just I think there’s a reason why Jared go had these numbers right top 10 I believe everything I’m not mistaken didn’t get a single and I’m not this not me dring at him guys I told you well the Dallas game kind of he was kind of bordering into the top five but the Dallas game sank it see I don’t think that was it cuz that’s just one game you saying he still had he still but that was the most watched game that season cuz even in that situation he did come back and have the game-winning touchdown technically and then would have had the game-winning two-point conversion I you know what I’m saying I just I don’t think it’s syn it that much the reason why the real reason ball knowers I don’t mean to defend anybody but when you put on the tape or just study like the the context around everything great play calling great offensive line it’s not diminishing Jared Goin either way I’m just saying like there’s a reason why he’s not given these MVP knots even back when he was in LA I just don’t like that argument cuz of course you want a good team around your quarterback you’re not just going to give them garbage AB absolutely but it’s like okay now our success the contributing factor is like when you watch Jordan love put up these numbers you’re watching them okay there’s a SAT coming I’m breaking out I’m running I’m goingon to make this throw on the Run first down quarterback different ways to skin a cat it’s your your contri to it the way I put it and I’ve said this before too is like what are you doing outside the structure of play to make things happen if you’re doing something perfectly inside the structure of play you’re doing your goddamn job and you’re doing it great Jared G is great at that outside the structure like if he’s pressured sometimes he’s not able to get it he takes a sack or throws it out of bounds whatever it may be is what it is I have no issue with it he’s keeping the ball clean Jordan love has the ability to extend that play you saying still keep it alive that’s that’s why we do those MVP votes it’s like okay Jared Go’s put in work within this structure of play with a great system with a great offensive line help them keep them up right to make these plays I’m not again I’m not trying to [ __ ] reason why he’s not getting VP votes is the reason why well like I said I just need to see another year of Jordan love before that’s completely fair I have no I have no beef with that to be honest with you is it too bold to maybe even go with the number one overall Prospect here do you think he should be in the discussions because he is he has like he’s the best Prospect coming out he got to earn it bro he’s got to take a snap SN like how many times Johnny Manzel have all the hype in the world you can have all the hype in the and I I think Caleb Williams is going to be a great quarterback he’s he’s a little zesty and he he matter I think he’s going to go throw touchdown yeah I don’t care if you paint your fingernails if you can throw 400 yards before touchdowns like it doesn’t matter to me so um he’s but I think he’s going to be a good quarterback but I’m not putting him up there yet not even close he’s got he’s got to play before I’m going to say he’s he’s better than these guys I like I said the Jordan love stuff I 100% get where you’re coming from Easy like like you said can move around the pocket very well he makes throws on the run very well you see his manorisms and the way he does stuff it’s very Rogers esque with how he his body language and his fakes and stuff like that you could tell he was sitting behind that guy for a couple years an it’s tough can they have a bad quarterback once like please we’ll see we’ll see like I said the the League’s got tape on him now so this is the year for him to prove that he’s really like that and your best work might be a light pack like he might not be outlived might he might be we’ll see like I said this is the year might morec this is the year for him to to prove it because the league knows who you are now the league has tape on your reads and your manorisms so if you go out there and do it again then yeah then you’re legit uh broer with some facts Jared golf’s the best number one overall pick in the division that’s fact as of right now yes can’t argue with that one um I didn’t read this one yet so I’m not going to just jump in and read it I guess I’ll read it blindly [ __ ] it okay here’s my question for easy with the Lions current Ross if they play any team nor KC in the Super Bowl can they win it with golf or is golf breaking point for you I if you’re yeah if you’re in the game you can win it I think they I think they can win the Super Bowl with goth I think this team that they’ve compiled around him plays to his strengths extremely well you have a top five play caller in the NFL in Ben Johnson you have a lot of great yards after catch pieces like Alan Rous Brown and Sam leapa and Jamir Gibbs and Jameson Williams and guys that can make things happen with the ball in their hands in space so I think it’s very very very reasonable to say they can get it done with jar go with this team around them but we talked about it now they already paid I know this is a uh argument for another day but they already paid I’m St Brown they already paid pen we all love Aiden Hudson we want them to pay Aiden Hudson there are other guys that are going to need to get contracts down the line can you pay all of them and keep the same roster no you literally can’t it’s been proven that you can’t do that so but that’s something we’ll run into when we get to it right now yeah they they have a roster that’s good enough to win the Super Bowl in my mind this is probably the best point and and shame on me for now thinking of it credit to Robert Hayden phenomenal point and he says and and actually KJ I’m going ask you this one all right if you switch situations between Golf and love you think they’d be just as successful like would golf if carry Green Bay to that second around the playoffs with that coaching staff I I feel like he could honestly all right d i mean I understand that ain’t your cup of tea but do do you think love would have gone also to the NC confence Championship with this if let’s say spinny thinks that the Green Bay wide receivers are better than the Lions wide receivers they have a run game um they have good coaching everything that golf needs is is in Green Bay as well Aaron Jones wasn’t if Aaron Jones wasn’t a china doll like Aaron Jones and AJ Dyan Aaron Jones and AJ Dylan a good combination of running backs to have now do you think the Lions would have gone just as far as Jordan love with that offensive line and the same excuse you gave that’s tough because love sat for a long time this last year was his first four year just last year swapping him out I I inexperience tells me that he wouldn’t have made it as far yes he would have been successful but I don’t think he makes it as far as golf because golf has been there before Nick you had your hand up no I was talking to Chris oh we’re good Nick doing sign language over there I know what’s going on yeah I think that’s the best I do you think JG would took green B to the second round I even know my who did they play in the first round Dallas Dallas yeah yeah in Dallas yeah Dallas a bunch of FRS dude um I think like they have obviously if you have jarro G you would have to tailor the offense differently than you do with um Jordan love Jordan love but I think the weapons that they have in Green Bay are equatable to what Jer go wants to do like you could tailor that offense and those guys around Jared gof strengths like Jaden Reed run after catch would be nasty Romeo dobs he could be that slant guy that in the- Middle guy and on top of that you got Christian Watson who could be a deep shot reverse run after like they have great weapons over there too taking a little bit of a hit in the tight end Department cuz Luke Musgrave still got a little ways to go Le Porter just kind of came out the gate but I mean everything else is essentially there that GF would need so yeah that’s just me uh brother ask I have a question how much better is Jared golf Desmond Ritter a lot better not even close yeah Desmond disrespect off like that very weak arm yeah Desmond Ritter is the worst quarterback in the NFL and it’s not it’s really not close well what about M Jones though I’d take M Jones over Desmond Ritter really yeah yeah M Jones has showed us he can do something in the league at some point Desmond Ritter is truly convinced like a lot of people if we had Patrick Mahomes division he would still be pissed off had had no I no there’s that this chat are you kidding me I mean they definitely throw golf but golf beat them twice yeah the Argent chit when Super Bowls mean
