So here's the part that this doesn't show. The on-ice official just prior to this literally looked at Keefe and said "enough".
When the ref says "enough", it's enough. And if you can't let it go, and you keep on about it, you're gonna face consequences. In that moment, Keefe became the belligerent toddler that got sent to his room without his supper, and he deserved it. Like it or not, fan of the team or not, Keefe has a bad reputation with the officials in this league. He has forfeited his right to the benefit of the doubt. Sorry 'bout it š¤·āāļø
Pretty disappointed. I watched Steve dangle and he made it seem like the coach was in the wrong. I missed the game so I went to the highlights. This is ridiculous and I'm kind of ashamed of Steve dangle for being such a whiny little b****. Man of two-faced when it comes to Toronto.
