has come to an end here at santosa golf club right on Sentosa island it’s a beautiful but humid day here in Singapore and what an exciting day one we just had Sebastian munas is at the top of the individual leaderboard and smash GC and Fireball GC is leading the way on the team leaderboard we’re here to chat about that and more right here at Club 54 pre-round show welcome I’m your host Christian Crosby and joining me is suan hang Abe answer thanks for joining us it’s a little hot out here man uh how was it a little bit take us through your day today man it was pretty solid it was nice to start with a good Birdie on whole four um followed by bogy but it was tough hold didn’t hit a good shot on the second one but after that I feel like I I hit the ball really good off the te which you have to do out here uh very demanding golf course off the te but if you’re in the in the Fairway you can definitely have some looks for birdie so it felt really good overall yeah you seem to be finding some really good momentum this year I mean you tied ninth last week obviously that win in Hong Kong what’s been working so well for you just I think I’m playing with more confidence and playing Freer I feel like last year and maybe at the beginning of the year I wasn’t doing that um so I think my mind’s in a better spot as well my game feels a lot more solid and I’m just playing some golf trying to enjoy it being focused and just control what I can control and perform well we talked about the heat before you uh got on air I mean how did you deal with it out there because I mean for me as a local I thought it was really hot still it is hot but I’m used to it I like the heat uh not that it’s super enjoyable but I rather have heat than than cold for sure so yeah just staying ahead of the hydration a lot of salt a lot of electrolytes and uh stay in the shade as much as possible all right well we’re going to take you through some of your highlights of the day we would love to hear you talk through them fans here we go here’s AE anwers day what hole is this I have no idea for okay there you go yeah so that that was nice because I hit a bunker shot that I hit it I felt like I hit it perfect and hit the pin and came all the way back now this is the seven yeah seven there you go that’s a good putt now you’re one of the best Putters out here I have to say because you rolled the rock so beautifully thank you yeah it’s starting to feel a lot better uh like I said last year I didn’t feel like I was and I was like man I’m usually this was really cool this is a nearly impossible P that you’re just trying to lag somewhere in I don’t know inside 5T ended up going and get the perfect speed and the perfect line what do you think about the greens out here I mean they’re huge so they’re huge but they’re like probably some of the best greens I have ever seen they roll extremely pure so it’s one of those that you’ve hit on your line you know it’s not going to hit anything it’s just riding right in that line yeah and I’m sure that gives you so much confidence as well standing over the putt knowing okay if I pick this line it’s going to go there and it’s all about the speed at that point isn’t it 100% And I like how How They Roll I mean you got to use the slopes and I like the that kind of golf I like where you have to imagine the the big lines and big breaks well you’re one of the most creative golfers out here that’s for sure thank you well you had a big win in Hong Kong we want to talk a little bit about that with you tell us how that experience was yeah that was a roller coaster I feel like I felt like I I was starting to play some really good golf and I fell in love with the golf course that was a cool finishing hole man that was uh that was really special those moments where you when you’re a little kid you dream about hitting the right shot at the right time in front of a lot of people and that was really cool to pull off because that day was tough I didn’t play very good at all thankfully I had a good lead but uh uh and it was just enough to to be able to celebrate with my team like that it was it was a lot of fun man you know one thing that you said in in the podcast to us is how proud you are of yourself for hanging in there and really grinding through uh that day like you say you didn’t have your best day I mean how much of that comes from your upbringing and how you grew up playing golf yeah I mean like I said I was really proud of just staying in there I could have gone through emotions and just be really mad about the shells I was hitting and then I could have lost it completely and finished whatever 10th or 15th you know so I was very happy the way I kind of handled myself and stayed in it and just grinded it out and uh I feel like I I’ve been definitely an underdog through my career and I love to embrace that role and just keep going and I I love uh some of the messages that I think is like hey I’m 562 and you’re like beating these guys and much I love that you know I love embracing that role all right so a we do this thing every show called form check we have fans submit their swing and then we have you check their for but all we ask is you be brutally honest it makes for good TV Perfect’s feel free to roast okay don’t be nice you don’t have to be nice all right here’s our first one there’s no wonder he’s on the left trees I mean this guy hits a hook every single time oh boy he says he’s a big fan of live golf does that help it does I’m just trying to help him out I feel like maybe maybe not come so from the inside and flip it I mean where is he hitting out of though it looks like it it is tough to see I would love to see that more like down the line looks like a a waist bunker of some sort oh we got a left the next one here yeah a little Lefty that’s not bad at all it’s got a long long swing which I can I can relate I mean very no I wouldn’t I wouldn’t say feel mckinson like but it’s definitely a long long swing I don’t see a lot of it wrong in there to be honest all right there you go after it yeah he liked it all right here’s our third swing trimmers trimmers let’s see all right the anticipation okay and here it is Bam um okay took it maybe a little bit too far outside maybe the angle help with that um I just may maybe we’ll take it not not as far outside at the beginning and other than that it still needs a lot of work I guess all right we have one more for you a thanks for the honesty that’s what we love all right I think we have one more okay yeah here’s one more all right oh he says he doesn’t feel like he gets any height out of his Club Let’s uh okay see what he’s talking about yeah I think he’s just Smothers it um maybe he can he can afford to move it a little bit farther up in his stance and not maybe come like over the top and just smother the golf ball maybe with the driver swing up a little bit but it doesn’t look too bad what do you think I don’t know maybe a little more more spine angle at set up yeah that is true I mean I’ve never had a coach so I don’t really know like I’m not very good at like giving oh you don’t need one that’s for sure my friends were like dude how are you like not telling me I was like I have no idea I I don’t know what to tell you I love it hey thank you so much for joining us we hope to see you again real soon thanks for having me apprciate all right let’s take a look at our individual leaderboard here Abe you’re free to go suan as we look at this leaderboard you were out there talk me through it it was hot but it was fun oh yeah it was fun I mean we talked about this on the broadcast this year we had a whole bunch of firsttime winners and if you look at that leaderboard we got Sebastian Muno is yet to win Thomas Peter’s yet to win Martin kimer finding some form Cameron tringali Kevin n obviously Brooks a name that’s you know we’re very comfortable seeing up on that leaderboard but a whole ton of firsttime leaders um and first-time winners perhaps and I guess we have to all right the live golf podcast Fairway to Heaven drops each week week featuring in-depth conversations with the players in live golf league this week host Jerry folz and suan H caught up with Adrien Moran where do you see yourself in 5 years multiple winner on left and I would like to have one major under my belt which one my favorite one is Masters but anyone would do at this point you were playing pretty well heading in there this year and this year wasn’t my best I know I know I know I talked to your cat and I go do you think you think he just wanted it too bad he goes probably so you know because everybody who joins this league has something to prove right yeah they they feel like they have something to prove although I don’t think to yourself you don’t for all the wrong reasons you go in feeling like that and he said there might be some to that it was definitely a little bit of that and I think I was fatigued as well just I Was preparing to that I think too much I spend just too much energy on that and even on Tuesday of the of the tournament I spent like 10 hours on the course which was not a good idea um so yeah I learned my lesson I didn’t play my best uh but so two wins and live and a major yeah multiple multiple he didn’t limit it to two oh multiple M WIS yeah okay make sure you guys I hope you scanned that QR code to watch Fairway to heaven best golf podcast out there starring our one and only suan hang uh suan you’re still here with us uh any favorite can you choose a favorite so far that you chatted with no don’t make me do that that’s mean no way no no but I think Jerry and I laugh the most during Louis usas in more to come here on Club 54 post round show all right and joining suan and I is Dom Boule uh Dom welcome to the show what’s up bro um I’m a little hot a little exhausted but I’m okay you you just said starring suan hang you forgot about Jerry fols well you knower for I wanted to give suan some love she’s standing right here where she you know she does her thing Jerry’s standing right there oh Jerry is over there all right well oops all right uh let’s talk a little bit through both of your days Dom I’ll start with you you follow Taylor G individual Champion here last year looks like eventually he could do it again this year what do you think you know what he was very impressive he only missed two Fairways today he missed six screens but four of them were right on the edge where he was putting so you know it’s pretty solid he did say to me on one of the holes he said I can’t wait for golf to be easy again but you know meaning that when he does hit a semi- poor shot he’s he’s getting in a really bad spot where it’s a tough up and down but tier green it was a quite an impressive round and actually he puted beautifully except for on the last hole where he missed a short one for birdie but uh this was perhaps I think this is on the ninth what a shot this was yeah it was on the night look at that magnificent I mean that was with a six iron back pin not easy to get that close D he said in his uh press conference uh you just got to remind yourself you’ve done it before you know um did it look like he was relaxed and calm and just staying the course you know in my halftime show I said he he’s he’s playing with a Steely confidence and uh he’s always very focused Taylor doesn’t give away very much does he he’s very much to himself uh no emotions but he is looking focused he wants to defend I mean he didn’t defend last week he wants to defend this week he’s got another chance in valer armor of course at the later in the year but uh his game it’s trending in the right spot all right well we have uh Dustin Johnson is another gentleman that you followed as well correct y I did what did you see there oh well Dustin he shot 4 under in the and uh I said to him in my interview to him I said it could have been so much better he was burning the edges of so many putts especially on the front nine here are some highlights from his day D take us through this yeah he bogey the third got a birdie right back on the fourth this was a birdie on the other par five the seventh hit at seven wood for his second right onto the edge of the green and this was on 11 so you see on the back nine he started making that wasn’t I mean he expects to make putts like that and here on the 12 with an a iron I mean this is the second hardest hole in the golf course it was last year but look at this I mean to the toughest pin on that hole magent shot yeah so Dustin has been working so hard he’s been spending hours on the Range and it is starting the payoff how much would you say and suan you can chime in on this too how much would you say this weather uh came into effect with these guys today like do you think it helps do you think it hurts I think most players s enjoy playing in the heat I mean I I spoke to probably 10 and they said I’d rather play in this than cold but at the same time you have to really be very careful with how you expand your energy and it’s so difficult to keep your focus in this heat cuz not only are you trying to hit the golf shot you’re trying to stay hydrated you’re trying to keep your energy levels it is difficult it is not easy no not at all it’s just a draining heat you I think they would prefer a dry heat this is a humid you know it’s just oppressive some areas especially in some pockets on the golf course I mean the temperature goes up it feels like 5 six de it’s hot enough and they have trouble keeping their grips dry cuz you know the sweats pouring on down their arms into their hands I mean Dustin before every shot today had a small towel wiping his hands wiping his grip yeah me too well Dean actually Dean were putting uh he was putting a baby powder in his gloves just to dry it out a little bit keep the the stickiness in the in the grip well I’ll tell you somebody who loves the heat uh birthday boy Brooks keco who you had a chance to follow around suan looked like he had a pretty solid day what did you see oh yeah I think it’s so fantastic that his game is is is trending and he’s found his sort of stride this is his second shot on the third his opening hole and he was just pin seeking all day his ball striking as pristine and you know he he was very open about his his confidence coming into this week he said he honestly I don’t feel that confident at all we’re two weeks away from the PGA Championship where he’s going to try and defend his title but I tell you what watching him today I see glimpses of confidence coming back he switched to this putter right about Miami just really trying to find something find that confidence with the flat stick and I tell you what he found that today that was a birdie on nine and this to finish well he didn’t finish on the 18th did he little left to right but yeah Heat’s getting to me guys seemed like uh all of Smash GC showed up today and uh we talked about it in our pre-show how that entire team suits well with this course I would love to hear from you more about this course and why this team fits this course so well well I think you know last year they all had great results here um obviously Taylor likes this golf course I spoke to Brooks off camera about the Heat and I said dude you play So Good In The Heat what about it he goes I don’t know I just you know he lives in South Florida this is very similar to a South Florida summer and so he’s very used to it but also he’s very athletic and he’s been spending a whole bunch of time in the gym and I think he’s inspiring the rest of his team to do exactly the same thing so um you know I think this golf course suits their game they’re all very good iron players and great Putters as well so no surprises that they’re up there again I heard in your interview with him he’s going to the gym later he is going to the gym for an hour it’s crazy uh one more guy you you followed around Dean bur who just seems to be playing his best golf right now let’s take a look at some of his highlights suan take us through it baby wow he’s playing some fantastic golf he is leading in Strokes gain in every metric this is his uh fourth on the second sorry his second on the fourth correct all right it’s okay it is hot out here now this is his Birdie on the 6th this is a part of his game that he’s been struggling a little bit hasn’t puted as well as he’d like to been working really hard on it this is this third on the seventh par five perfectly gauged everything was downhill down slope managed to find a little spin now this is a birdie on 17th big putt this is the longest putt he made all day long got to feel good walks away like it’s nothing I love it I love Dean he’s got such a great demeanor about him he doesn’t take life too seriously and one of the best Sportsmen in the game soan I heard you in the main show you said Dean berer is just getting better at everything he is what what is the cause what would you say what’s your take he’s such a competitor and he’s so driven he’s been working so hard on his game he wants to win out here and he has the game to win out here and I think maybe there’s part of it to prove to everyone that he does deserve to be in major championships um he certainly I think he deserves to be in major championships he’s one of the best players out here and I think him winning in Miami really just put a stamp on that I think his confidence level is right here and don’t forget he comes from pretty good pedigree his father was a test cricketer International cricketer his mom was a really good goal for two and I talked to his dad last week and he says it’s just his wedge game he’s now dialed in with his wedges and when you drive it as well as Dean does you have so many wedges like Dustin did a few years ago you need to improve your wedges because it gives you so many looks at birdies after that W well let’s see what the people are saying on social um soan I got a question for you because you’re from here is it always this hot I mean I know it’s hot here is it always this hot no look we this is a this is no well it is but it’s not freakishly this hot I feel like this week is hotter than every other week I mean I spoke to a friend who lives here and I caught him on the ninth hole and he said this is the hottest it’s been for the last two weeks and uh here’s another one really can’t keep grinding out these live golf league tournaments I’m going to be sleep deprived I’m assuming this person is maybe from the United States uh caffeine my friend caffeine do what you you got to do it’s live golf uh Sentosa not a bad looking golf course now that picture right there makes me very proud to to be a Singaporean because that is a gorgeous golf course and uh to be able to share that with everybody here you know it is amazing and such a privilege well you guys have been great I’ll let you get some AC how about that thank you guys yes pleas thank you domu thanks for joining us here on Club 54 post round show more to come sarpong Golf Course sits under the shadows of the stunning Marina Bay Sands Resort and this week’s Hang Time saw cam Smith catch up with suan after an epic week in adelade welcome to hang time this week we’re here in Singapore on the back end of Australia and who better to have this week than the captain of last week’s team champion the Ripper juicy it’s cam Smith let’s go uh Welcome to My Country cam thank you I apologize about the Heat and the rain and the humidity uh I don’t mind the heat um the humidity is a little bit a little bit much um but I love Singapore I love this golf course I think it’s uh it’s definitely up the top of of what we’re playing this year it here well cam first of all congratulations uh for your very first team win this year especially in Adelaide what was that experience it’s like for you mate it was it was epic I think that’s the most nervous I’ve ever been to have you know basically the whole of Australia begging you know two players to to [Applause] win come on keep drawing a great shot what did you learn about yourself and what did you learn about your team um I think what I learned about the team was we’re all just so tight-knit and we’re all so happy for each other I’m I’m so proud of those guys I mean really what we what we did at the start of the week you know all the commitments that we had it was so tiring it’s crazy what that week does to Australian golf fend we already can’t wait to get back next year absolutely amazing hearing from cam Smith and uh Ripper GC and what an incredible uh moment that was in Adelaide seeing the home team take it all in our first ever team playoff Club 54 post round show more to come all right and joining me is my good friend Jerry I got to apologize to you I’m dripping out here man that’s your second shirt or third it’s my second shirt of the day going on the third one sto by the booth during the show yeah I swear faity is the human snowball he other than other than our producer he is a human snowball it’s I had to step outside twice just to warm up it’s so nice and chilly in there wow that’s incredible I wish I were you uh let’s talk about today how how was what’s your take on day one Jerry we have a lot of great players up the at the top that’s a recurring theme with Liv golf because of the rosters that we have we’re always going to have a bit of that but we had a lot of guys whose games uh revolve around Precision near the top of the leaderboard you heard Brooks Kus say it in his interview with suan after the round that’s what this course is about and that’s why the guys who are at or near the top of the leaderboard are there because they’re in control of their golf ball day one is usually full of some sort of surprise did anything Catch You by surprise today anyone who raised your eyebrow out here that you weren’t expecting to show out in day one well you know I always expect the best out of these players so none of the players playing at the top surprised me but what really surprised me is Bryson Des Shambo struggling a little bit today brought it back to make it somewhat respectable to him but he’s way down at the bottom and Andy ogal Tre coming off a top five finish last week shooting six over today that was a bit of a shocker as well um and the 48 is still continuing to hover near the bottom of the team leader board that’s always a surprise to me we’ll talk a little bit more but for now Rachel Drummond had a chance to catch up earlier with Terrell Hatton let’s take a look how it went now at live golf we have the best golfers in the world company right here T Hatton and golfers on live are either very technically focused like Charles how III or they’re more external like yourself TL now how did you warm up let’s see you hit a few and how did you get ready for tournament performance wise uh yeah so I’m opposite end of the scale in terms of being technical um so yeah I generally start my warm up sort of around 40 minutes for my tea time um to start with lob wedge and yeah just work my way through the bag let’s see you hit a couple now you’re very much a field player what sort of ball flight do you like to [Music] see generally ball flightwise very neutral um I don’t ever thinking about shaping it one way or the other like with the longer clubs it would be a little bit of a fade and I try and aim certainly with drive a little bit left of Target just to compensate for that but I’m not actively trying to hit a fade it’s just like my natural sort of shape so yeah I just just try and play with it and how do you know when it’s not slightly right is it does it just go away from the zero ball flight very neutral uh it goes it stays pretty neutral but it just goes sideways quickly so I work for my dad and we always check certain points in my swing and it’s always something in the setup it’s like simple things like ball position and Alignment uh that’s why golf so hard because you have the feelings of like some days you feel like I just need to put the ball a little bit further forward and then you kind of do that too much and it goes too far forward so then you have to like go the opposite way and you go back so it’s always a constant uh struggle yes you say you work with your dad how much does he help you in tournaments or are you quite you know dependent in knowing what you need to do so I’m quite um dependent in that sense um yeah we try and get most of our work done in the off weeks to try and set ourselves up for a a good run and will you look at data when you’re away from a tournament I just hit the shots and if as long as it’s going like the distance it needs to like that that’s enough data for me you’re can tell techical but you’re very smart you know what works for you right right let’s see you stripe a six Z first I want a nice neutral ball flight neutral ball flight 6 iron H goes stepping in to check the alignment I know is he good coach no I mean I just want to touch on that quickly this is what we see all the best golfers doing they’re getting their Basics right so you just put a stick down y uh so I always when I’m hitting balls certainly from wedge like upwards like with lob wedge and stuff I’ll I’ll just try and feel like I’m standing open to Target and then soon as I have a pitch and wedge and anything longer I’d try and square up with the rod and then we’ve just recently started doing cuz I I have struggled with my line on the golf course uh the last few drivers I hit we set a Target and I’d line up to that and Hugo will tell me if I’m good lining up good so good old old school caddy check you can’t do that in the tournament no definitely not and ball position obviously with a six IR slightly further forward in the I think so I mean it look from me you’re good okay that’s money now one of the things that fascinates me is how good your mindset is is and I spoke with a caddy earlier and when you first came out on tour you kept the same clubs even though manufacturers were all over you same with coaches you stuck with your dad you know how did you keep that mentality some of the lads out here they have swing what they got swing coach short game p coach mental coach for me it’s too much noise like uh yeah I’m I’m happy work my dad’s like if I am struggling like I’ve got I’ve got Danny to to help me out on the road too so there you go yeah now let’s finish with a bit of mentality when you’re on the golf course and you’re about to hit a shot what do you need from Hugo to hit uh I feel like I’m quite a quick player so just having yeah the number ready what whatever the cover is you know if there’s a pin over the bunker what the cover is there and and you just go up pins that’s what I love about watching your game generally um so we we can end up in some pretty interesting spots at least it’s a giggle really good go on let’s see one more right what club have we got here this is the seven wood perfect and what sort of carry do you normally see with this uh normally when we’re temperatures it will be sort of about 235 carry I mean out here you probably get close to 250 with the heat um and again very neutral ball flight it should be is going to stay in the air forever that is going to look good on the Tracer do you want to know your numbers or not really do you want to know your carry I’ll guess that one good one at cuz I caught it a touch bot me I’ll still say it was like 246 240. 6 ah I got that was a six in there genius and spin do you know what sort of spin roughly 48 to five yeah pretty much there you’re good at this he he’s very simple but he knows what he’s doing TR thank you so much everyone at home there’s golfers that are Technical and you’re more external so give these tips that tr’s given you stay out the heat like T say and keep it simple absolutely well um well I’m back on the Range and I’m actually hitting this time but it was a privilege to speak with trell we’re both from high Wickam in England and I said to him please do not swear and I have to remind myself that too so it must be something about us Wickam folk um anyways so Terell he may be simple it may be external but he knows exactly what he’s doing with his setup and that’s what I want to teach you now and I think this might be my best tip so please pay attention so there’s something called The Grid in golf and the way you set up will help dictate the shot shape that you want to hit so you’re going to have to refer this if you’re left hand cuz I’m right-handed so first up we’re going to go with the draw okay so I’ve moved I’ve got the line in the middle of my feet and then I’ve got the club down exactly what we saw with tur and exactly what we’re seeing from all these great players when they warm up so I’ve got the line in the middle of my feet and as you can see I’ve got this Arc in front of me now that dictates the shape of the golf swing so the swing will go Square to slightly in to square again to slightly in okay so that’s the way the swing moves so what I’ve done here this is my middle and I’ve moved it slightly back in the ark so this is going to help my start line go out to the right so middle of feet feet on the line like T troll does then I’m going to get my shoulders my hips everything aiming slightly right and hopefully I’m set up for a draw so as you can see the right start line and it’s moving back so that’s the draw now tiell what he mentioned he liked hting the straight shot which is the most impossible shot in golf so middle of stance I’ve got a 99 we’re going middle of my feet and then everything I’m just going to swing in to square to in let’s give it a go okay there’s my straight shot now before I go on to the fade we’re going to look at a little bit of b-roll from the birthday boy today Brooks keer and he is one of the best faders in the world so let’s have a little look at some of the shots he hit today and see how good that fade was working for him with a great score okay so here we are second shot into the third hole as we can see from his setup he’s aiming slightly left with the feet and hitting that stock fade which was beautiful now we’ve got the second shot at the six pole again path going slightly left holding it and he knows what he’s got every time which is crucial second shot on the nth here Here We Go Again swinging left holding the face and what we see with a lot of great players out here is they stick to one shot shape they don’t try and overdo it and do too many now we’re going to have a little look at a slow-mo this is poetry in motion here’s his setup let’s pay attention to those left feet line shoulders slightly left as well as you can see with the tip that I’ve done there’s the club at the top path moving slightly left and you can see that face stay stay very stable throughout impact I mean i’ I guess I got to try a fade now haven’t I so again like what I said earlier I’ve moved it further forward in my stance and this is the shot shape that trell we saw in the piece he likes hitting so I’ve got my middle line I’ve got my feet line now as you can see I moved the ball way up in my stance I’m actually going to open my feet slightly and allow my shoulders and hips to also go that way now the wind’s off the right so be kind to me right I’m I’m going to exaggerate that left path and I’m going to hold the face and it is moving which I’m happy about so there it was starting left and moving right I’ve also got one more tip to help you with the fade so let’s do that now and the reason I’m using a t is because I want to always keep this static so when you’re on the Range you can set this up and you don’t have to fa around so again ball forward stance slightly open and then we’re going to go PA left right this is the drill for you now do you see there’s a ball over here so in my practice swing I’ve got to feel like I’m trying to hit that ball there that will help exaggerate that path so same again imagine you’ve got a golf ball on the inside swing left then hold the face okay so that started right and went right so I didn’t swing far enough left but that is a great tip for you to try at home setup is key get your Basics right and you’ll be able to Fades or draws and then pick your favorite one like Brooks and Terell Hatton big thanks to Rachel Drummond always breaking it down and a great job with Terrell Hatton as well uh the live Golf Plus app is filled with great content including a new masterclass tutorial series with driving lessons from Bryson putting from Cam and scrambling from Bubba hey guys this is Cam Smith hi I’m Bryson a Shambo I’m bubble Watson and welcome welcome welcome to my live lesson so if you’re like me and you miss Fairways this is when the creativity comes out focus on that Target that’s what I’m focused on py to man for me I just want to make it simple as possible tempo for sure is one thing you need to keep an eye on cam Smith he has taken complete control here I like to aim the putter make sure that’s perfect then I take my stance give it one good look at the hole and hit a good P Houdini with the flat stick need a golf ball here we go Bry the Shambo electrifies the ground so guys there’s a lot of mysteries around hitting it really far that’s what psycho mode comes in try to get a little psycho with it yeah there it is that was pepper let your body free up let things just move more don’t feel like you’re restricted can you do that you’re on your way to better [Music] golf you can check out all of those live lessons on the live Golf Plus app make sure you guys down that download that if you haven’t this is Club 54 post round show more to [Music] come all right we’re back with Jerry fultz Jerry I never I never ask you uh what did you think about that Rachel Drumm and P she’s always so great yeah she’s fantastic and you can tell how the players have warmed up to her because she knows her stuff she’s I mean she’s an accomplished coach uh and also a TV presenter as they say in the UK and parts of the world but she great advice from Terell there number one I love the fact that he’s old school all these guys have swing coaches and midle coaches and short game coaches and this and that he goes that’s too much noise for me that’s old school and he’s a young man to be old school but what I liked about what Rachel had to say is what she taught was very simple way to learn how to control the path of the club and the Flight of the ball and anybody can learn from it it was fantastic oh man I I love watching Rachel there Jerry as we’re closing out we’re getting close to the end of the show got to ask you about what you’re thinking as we go into day two do you have any final thoughts on day one you know the computer was right in terms of the team because it had it had smash first favorite and it had Stinger third favorite they’re right there right now first and third I believe but it also had Crushers as second favorite and they’re all the way down near the bottom No actually they’re at the bottom but uh one thing I’m going to keep an eye on tomorrow is is the Enigma that is Kevin Na he’s one of the shorter hitters in Liv golf um this is one of the bigger ball parks in live golf and he always seems to have his best events on the big hitters golf courses on the tougher what I think are tougher golf courses certainly tougher for what fit his style of game and he’s right there one back and I’ve also was fortunate enough to be able to cover Sebastian Munos when he won his one PJ Tour event that guy’s not afraid to win one thing uh I don’t think we talked about enough was how amazing Adelaide was 94,000 people showed up in Adelaide last week to make an unforgettable Liv gogg leag event let’s take a look back at how special it really wasse this is extraordinary sporting drama in adade we’ve waited 28 events for a team playoff we knew it could be like [Music] this more than 100,000 fans will pack the fairways of the gra Golf Club this weekend and it promises be even more Rocklyn than last year the people day look at the people [Music] bro my goodness what a scene we have here in Ed like clockwork Matt Jones on the ti 14 you simply cannot get any closer than that the killer BL forc dominant day so far for br steel is playing the round of his live golf life there it is that might be the winning shot Brendan steel congratulations means everything I haven’t I haven’t won a tournament in quite a while and and this is as good as I’ve ever played so at at my age to be feeling like I’m playing the best I’ve ever played is is really something meanwhile it’s Stinger just performed heroics in the late stages yeah they came on strong how massive was this the first team playoff in live golf league history we are not done yet it’ll be South Africa against Australia two captains of the teams they will select two players added cumulative stroke play on [Music] 18 it all right boys two years we’ve been waiting for this history right personally I cannot wait to see how it goes you have the home team on the playoff makes it so much better two Nations who have been butting heads in international sport for well over 100 years here we go that was a poor shot from cam Smith and he’s not happy that’s exactly what he had to do and couldn’t get enough on it wow huge advantage to the South Africans [Music] now if either Louie or Dean can hold one of these will be victorious who stays [Applause] It Go nether cam nor have gimmies here no no all right in the center I he had a three and 1 half four footer that felt quite like this one we go again there’s a feel of Destiny to this I mean The Stingers they must be gutted you’re not going to get better opportunities the pressure for Ripper here is like it’s incredible you think the O will go down without a fight of course they [Music] won’t that’s got to sit that’s it that’s easy and that has gone all the way to the back of that bunker got a set catches the slope he just flew it a yard too far and hits the da slope oh wow you can’t write this feel like there’s thousands of people watching me brother what a shot is that and the Aussies are starting to believe that this is their day cam has two PS to win Ripper one hand on the trophy after the most extraordinary day of Team golf here what a show of talent of poise of true Aussie [Applause] [Music] [Applause] grit the HS of a golf mad Nation squarely on their shoulders and rer GC have performed magnificently for Australia yeah it wasn’t looking good to be honest it wasn’t pretty thirsty are our shoes clean time for a shoy fellas that was as good of experience on the golf course as I’ve ever had by quite a long way I’ve never exp honestly I’ve never experienced stuff like that and I don’t even know what to say an unforgettable three days once again in Adelaide we cannot wait to get back a story book ending with the home team Ripper GC you got to love this from Ripper mullet GC I would I would pay to see them play with those mullets on on those are not mullets those are like 70s wigs from from daytime TV I love it uh Jarry you know the phrase they say you just had to be there it doesn’t apply to this event you can clearly see even from the videos how special that event was in Adelaide final thoughts on that event chair I tell you what I had friends back in the States burning the midnight oil to watch it because they were so enthralled so drawn into the to what was happening on the course and being able to see it on TV during those hours in the US was awesome it’s it’s the barometer by which all future Live Events will be measured and strive to attain that level of success and uh and it’s incumbent upon us as a league to provide that opportunity to the different places we visit and the times of year we visit that was a huge hit we have a number of other tournaments that are huge hits and I can’t wait for us to experience more of them all right well back to sing Singapore our individual leaderboard Sebastian munas did his thing today as we like to call it Jerry here are his highlights take us through it Jerry he did his thing today in Singapore what are you seeing here he did it all around he did it with some great ball striking and those mid-range putts these length putts are the ones you don’t ever make you make such a small percentage of them that they make a huge difference in the round if he puted like basically everybody else near the top of the leaderboard he’d be at the same score but he made a couple of long ones you don’t expect but he also had some really precise ball striking this is second shot to the 16th just a short iron in hand but he was dialed in he wasn’t fooled by the little light winds out there the heavy air that’s present here in this 104° heat index Fahrenheit and the very very humid weather that was his third shot at the par 518th from the right bunker which is the Smart Miss and then leaves it below the hole and then on the te at number two the par three as he was winding down his day and there it is right there six feet away for just another easy birdie for someone of that caliber well Jerry you know what I’m going to say next what’s that thank you oh you’re we had we had a great day today I can’t wait to see how many shirts you wear tomorrow I’m definitely not wearing this one again that’s for sure all right well I can’t wait for day two thank you guys for watching this was Club 54 post round show I’m your host Christian Crosby looking forward to day two and seeing all of you there right here in the beautiful Sentosa Golf Club on Sosa Island until then we’ll see you tomorrow this was Club 54 post round show peace [Music] [Applause]
