away when we go live and when we have some uh video content because Fifer already put together several player profiles uh immediate reaction and we want to dive into everything Adam welcome in aifer 24 if you are listening on iTunes and Spotify it’s AP fi f24 on the Twitter machine of course you know him from the co-host of the ftn datacast uh man what a wild draft we were in communication through the entire draft the first round was Bon uh we saw just a record 14 straight offensive players to start a draft doubled the record of offensive players to start a draft ever uh we did see before six quarterbacks in the first round but we never saw six quarterbacks in the first 12 picks three to start four in the first eight five in the first 10 six in the first 12 we had three wide receivers in the first nine picks and seven total fight for man it was a wild draft and I think we may look back on it for years to come and and it could be something that people talk about for years and just shook up the landscape of the of the NFL yeah it was really fun uh you myself Mike Jeremy we were all in the uh doing the live draft blog for the site and then we ripped off a bunch of reaction videos which I can’t give enough credit to everybody that’s helped with the production side of that I mean the first of all the quality was amazing and then to add the fact that the turnaround from when the selections happen so uh I was really proud of the team but yeah the draft was crazy um it felt like we were like it always happens especially for dynasty rookie drafts where so much is going to change I wouldn’t say like a ton change in terms of like where a lot of the players will go we’ll talk about some players but it did change like in terms of like late first round draft picks and early to midc round rookie picks are awesome this year because you have obviously in superflex because you had six quarterbacks get top 12 draft Capital so that’s going to push a lot of other players down like there’s we could be talking you and I are in Dynasty League where we have our rookie draft next week and I have the 108 and like there’s like an actual outside chance like romad dun is there for me and that’s really exciting so it’s a really deep class for skill position players which we obviously love for Fantasy yeah and you bring up a good point about superflex we’ll dive into that I want to show you guys the consensus of our rookie rankings at running back and at wide receiver our rankings are live over at FTM fantasy.com you myself Tyler lochner of course Jeff Ratcliffe Scott Sprat uh we got Pope and Randle in there as well so there’s a a few people given you know different takes but I just pulled the consensus together and if you are signed up with us you can individually see who we like more but fer and I will talk about that who we like maybe a little bit more or less than the consensus over at ftn and we’ll talk about the superflex and the strategy behind it because you’re right in that draft where you start two quarterbacks we’re going to see quarterbacks fly off the board wide receivers and maybe some value I think the biggest takeway for me in the in the NFL draft is one it was Heavy offensive players and whatnot uh the M the Michael penck Jr thing is is was wild to me uh Ian Rapaport reporting before the draft that the Falcons were interested in penx Jr and I just thought he was ah this guy’s this guy’s drunk already like he’s having way too many pops there’s no way they’re doing that and they did it uh it was just extremely strange for me to see a team go all in on Kirk Cousins give him 100 million guaranteed and then and kind of like just back off like oh we’re actually not officially all in we’re going to draft Michael penck Jr here is’s a guy who’s you know 24 in in what may in just a couple days he’s had multiple injuries if best case scenario for the Falcons is Kirt cousins is the starting quarterback for the next two or three years and he’s not ready to go until what 28 27 pushing 30 before he maybe even takes a snap in the NFL I thought that was a really puzzling selection fight for yeah like I don’t hate the idea of trying to have that you know option ready because Kurt Cousins I believe the earliest they can get out from that contract is 2026 or 2027 but like and I like Michael pennick but it did feel weird that they went with the quarterback that like you said is about to turn 24 so like by the time he may even be ready to take over the starting job like and not that you know being 20 6 27 at quarterback is old but if it’s your first full year starting it’s a little bit interesting you know a lot of people said maybe they should have went JJ McCarthy if they were going to go quarterback who was still there for them so um I don’t hate the selection as a lot of other people do as much as a lot of other people do I just thought it was kind of puzzling that apparently Kirk Cousins was just didn’t even know like he was just kind of like joins the team you’re you’re the quarterback of the future not the future but for the immediate future and oh by the way we’re going to draft a quarterback ninth overall right after signing you to this massive contract it’s not he hardly knew I think there was some afterwards there was some backtracking from the organization saying that they talked to him briefly but Terry frat who is the general manager there he had some interesting comments I thought after the the selection and I get it like if you if you really like Michael penck Jr and you’re thinking about your future it it’s very important you’re looking ahead at the draft class it’s not as nice at the quarterback position next year you know you have the injury that cousins is Rec cing from the Achilles is significant at his age you want to be set up you look at Jordan love I know Jordan love was brought up nobody liked the Jordan love selection at the end of the first I know he was a lot younger uh and now we’re seeing that workout for the Green Bay Packers Jaylen Herz a couple years ago in the second round that was puzzling to a lot of people I get it having a quarterback that you like setting yourself up but it’s the age thing it’s the money that they dished out the cousins uh and I just thought that they needed a whole lot more especially on the defensive side and that was another take away for me Adam these defensive players continue to drop and drop and drop and there’s terrific value in the draft for for certain teams Eagles every year every year everyone just hates everyone’s like why are we giving the Eagles grade A’s and and a pluses because players fell into their laps but dude qu Mitchell was projected for months to be at worst like 15th 16th overall 16 yeah like I thought the Raiders were going to take him we’ll talk about that that pissed me off um but yeah like the eagles and Ravens I feel like every single season you look at their draft and it’s like how did they get this player here this player here and it’s um can’t I mean obviously if you’re 31 other teams it’s annoying but I mean why would you not take the consensus top defensive back in the entire class falling to where he fell why would you not do that ande too they ended up getting two of the top three corners and I’m sure they were they were probably thinking that they were going to select him with their first round pick Mitchell fall and then trading up and seeing him so they they made that made made that selection but yeah certain winners like good defensive players that were falling latu fell uh Turner fell these cornerbacks fell there was really the team I think had the best draft arguably of the weekend was Washington they got Johnny Newton Second Round yeah and I I thought he was a top 25 player so that could be really fun for though and not breaking any news here but Chicago’s a big winner too right when you when you’re able to get Caleb Williams and you’re able to get Roma dun those two guys I was waiting dude I was waiting to see the graphic change from Chicago on the clock to Buffalo and you guys would have had to replace me for the live draft blog because I would have I don’t know where I would have went but I would have been cheering somewhere but um but yeah man like I don’t it’s been talked about all the time I just don’t think there’s been a rookie quarterback in a better situation year one I just like whether you think it’s Chicago Seattle at worst they’re third in wide receiver trios in the league I would probably put them first because I’m that high in Rome but yeah man I I love Rome so once they decided not to trade back and and take Rome it was just like you only like Caleb Williams even more because oh Keenan Allen leaves next year okay you still have DJ Moore in Rome yeah exact we’ll talk about Rome from a redraft standpoint I’m actually like my initial take is I think I’m going to fade him for there’s a lot of jsn comps yeah because of the landing spot but here’s the difference draft capital is a little bit different Rome was a top 10 pick also Rome is a better Prospect yeah also Rome is playing with who we think will be one of the next you know Elite quarterbacks in the league but if you’re fading Roman Dynasty because of this you’re doing it wrong no like we’re g to get into that I I’m just right off the top like he is the number three wide receiver for me like he’s not going to I I maybe in that draft that you talked about earlier in superflex maybe he’ll fall but there’s no reason for him to go in it’s different in superlex when you have six quarterbacks drafted in the top 12 that’s the other thing too like I thought if there was any chance penx did go in the first round it would be to Denver who obviously they took a quarterback or the Raiders and even at the worst case if he didn’t go in the first round I thought the Raiders would be a landing spot like if he went to the Raiders we could have seven quarterbacks in super Flex just go like that which would have been even more crazy yeah um you’re definitely right about Caleb Williams being set up like there’s nobody really I can think of in recent memory that has been set up like that because normally you have you know the team that picks first overall is is picking a quarterback and they’re picking first overall for reason is because they’ve been awful Joe burrow was able to bring the Bengals to the Super Bowl in what two years and I believe that was an NFL record for a first overall pick uh to lead the team to a Super Bowl uh of course lost but the turnaround was quick they drafted T Higgins that year Jamar chase the following year um you know Trevor Lawrence wasn’t you know he was a top pick he wasn’t set up uh last year of course Bryce young wasn’t set up even CJ Stout really wasn’t set up with weapons around him they did draft Tank Dell and Nico Collins broke out but yeah he is Caleb Williams is in a really good situation I can’t remember the last time a top quarterback had this many weapons on the squad of course it wasn’t their pick uh but bringing in Keenan Allen and having DJ Moore and then the offensive line is is solid you have Cole KT as a tight end you have three running backs they acquir DeAndre Swift K Herbert Roshan Johnson who they drafted last season uh and now you know you bring Roman dun in there plus the defense played pretty good last year they’re one of the better uh run stopping defenses in football over the second half so uh maybe the defense can help him out Caleb Williams that is for more possessions because it’s not at USC at times he was even last year I thought he played a little bit of herob ball the defense couldn’t make any stops for him so he’s you know I don’t want to say he got bored with completions but there were some moments when I’m watching games and film where you know guys are wide open in the middle of the field and he’s taking shots deep down the field but he can do it all uh if they could just Temper Temper you know the I don’t want to say play it safe because him rolling out to the left and making those throws with accuracy and in a bucket and and the the ropes that he can throw I mean that’s all part of it that’s why you like him uh but yeah for for me from a redraft standpoint I think he’s pushing lowend quarterback one and from a I will just say it right now we’re going to show the consensus rankings in a bit but he would be the number one pick for me in a super Flex league but I would go Marvin Harrison Jr at number one if a rookie only draft are you with me on that one or are you taking Caleb and of course still context you need a quarterback Caleb as great as Caleb is in single quarterback the earliest I would even take him is probably like 108 really I got him at like four five you take up all the wide receivers basically then I would take all the you know the top three wide receivers worthy Jonathan Brooks lad maybe he’d probably be like in in like the 106 to 108 range for me like I would probably I would probably take him over Brock at this point but that’s that’s where he goes for me but yeah super Flex not even a discussion well I guess it is a discussion like if you’re loaded if you have three really good quarterbacks you can take Marv very easily yeah very easily uh Rex in the house actually shocked Buffalo didn’t move up I think think a lot of people were dude Brandon Bean in his press conference said he there was no intention of moving up I don’t believe that personally but I also don’t believe it would have been for like Brian Thomas I think if they were going to move up it was going to be a home run swing for Rome or somebody they were minus 280 was tell the truth they were minus 280 to take a wide receiver with that pick at 28 for the first pick then they traded back a couple times I thought worthy was going to be the pick I know a couple people that I’m close to or Bills fans and they they were hoping for Legette or worthy and then the trade to Kansas City of all teams to trade with of course you’re trading to Kansas City I don’t want to make your blood boil but I thought that was one of the most interesting things in the draft as well we’ll get into some of the players but like you normally don’t see this I guess you did a couple years ago the bills traded back and who was that guy that they drafted was Patrick Mahomes and Patrick Mahomes has had his way of course to the bills over the past couple years the funny thing about that trade too is the bills got a lot of really good players in that trade it just doesn’t matter because one of the three greatest quarterbacks of all time was in that trade and we can look back at this deal and say you know what the bills had a lot of holes defensively they ended up with 10 draft picks they traded back a couple times I don’t hate the trade because look worthy was not on their board they weren’t going to draft him so like just get more draft Capital like it’s it’s it’s going to suck when he has a 50- yard touchdown one of these weeks especially if against Buffalo but if they weren’t planning on drafting him like you might as well just get draft Capital it looks bad obviously because it’s the Chiefs but um luckily luckily we were all we were up doing the blog and everything or else like if I stayed up to watch the Bills hopefully take a wide receiver at 28 and then they trade it back and then they trade out of the first round I’d have been pretty tilted well talk about Coleman in a second I do like him I think he’s a good fit for Buffalo uh but I again I thought that that was just really shocking and I know we can fast forward in two or three years and the bills and the Chiefs are playing the playoffs and it’s Troy Aman and Joe Buck on the broadcast and he you know it’s the fastest man that we’ve ever seen at the combine and it’s Mahomes who hit him up we can already say I can already hear it I can hear Buck Say well you know Patrick Mahomes is lighting up the bills again you know that they traded you know back with Kansas City and and Kansas City was selecting him and and Troy’s like yeah and you know who else they got in a trade with the Buffalo Bills Xavier worthy worthy and Coleman are going to be linked together for years but again it’s just the fact that you trade with Kansas City shout out to my guy uh Gabe morenzi of sports grid who had a fantastic rant he was Furious he’s a massive Bills fan he was Furious why would we do this why would we do this but at the end of the day the trades did get some Capital was able to have a good draft and they needed some players on defense and they still got a wide receiver to your point if there’s if they don’t like Xavier if they didn’t grade him as a first round wide receiver which I heard the comments second straight year I think they had 28 first round grades yeah so if you trade back yeah all right we’ll move on from that but I thought that I had to get your take on it and I just thought it was I thought it was so interesting like really you’re gonna trade and of course of all the players right of all the players to select for Kansas City it’s exactly what they’ve been missing since Tyreek Hill we’ll get into his fit in Kansas City in a little bit so let’s in case you missed it we’ll just we’ll save the consensus rankings for a little bit this is how the wide receivers fell off the board Marvin Harrison Jr at four to Arizona Malik neighbors to six to the Giants romad dun to the Bears at nine so yeah dun and Caleb Williams fly to Detroit together in the for the draft and they’re going to fly uh back to Chicago together Brian Thomas Jr to Jacksonville pick 23 I already seen like ah they got another Gabe Davis we’ll discuss that in a little bit Xavier worthy at pick 28 there as we alluded to to the Chiefs V person was a little bit of a surprise I like the player but I was I was pretty surprised with that pick we’ll see what happens you know there’s a lot of rumors and reports Debo Samuel and brenon IU could be traded but if they haven’t been traded already I’m not sure uh that’s going to happen Xavier Legette to round out round 132 so just this talk here about these guys um let’s lead with Marvin Harrison Jr I we already discussed first for me in rookie only drafts and redraft leagues first and I have him ranked as high as a low-end wide receiver one um I’m drinking the Kool-Aid right away uh with KY where do you have because I thought I was going to be one of the highest I have at 15 I got him at 12 okay I like I love it I think if he’s outside your top 15 you’re overthinking I really do I’d even consider him over a guy like Garrett Wilson I know Garrett Wilson is is extremely uh impressive uh Rogers we hope that he’s ready to go and the offensive line is bolstered through you know free agency and whatnot but I don’t know man this guy’s gonna be a Target hog and if he’s getting any kind of volume like DeAndre Hopkins had a couple years ago in this offense there’s no reason for me to think that he won’t be top seven or eight in targets among white outs yeah so it’s obviously not the same offense that they they had when Hopkins was there but you just look like Hopkins in 2020 he had a 29.4% Target share he averaged 10 targets per game and then we remember in 2022 when Hopkins was suspended for the first six games they had Hollywood Brown who was the clear wi receiv year one he had insane volume during those first six weeks 10.7 targets seven receptions per game 26% Target share 23% Target per outr run rate Marvin Harrison there really isn’t any holes in his game right he wins with physicality with size with finesse great hands can run routes at all three levels paired with who I think we need to remember is still an elite quarterback in this in this league and Kyler Murray who’s going to be you know his first full season coming off the ACL I just like there’s nothing to not like the only reason I have him at 15 and not closer to 12 and I could still change it very easily is simply because the position at the top is still pretty loaded right like he’s I debate between him and like Chris alive he’s ahead of both San Francisco receivers for me um he’s like right there with like Mike Evans Cooper cup but yeah like obviously we don’t have to talk about where he should go in Dynasty rookie drafts but in traditional redrafts probably a third round selection at the very worst yeah he went in the second round as wide receiver 11 in the Sirius XM post draft draft on Sunday you and I are not actually the highest I’m looking our guy Tyler lochner has him at N I love it like I might have to move him up because like I put him at 15 being a little bit conservative and thinking okay like most he’ll probably come in like 17 to 20 clearly I was wrong um but like like you mention Garrett Wilson like if you put him ahead of Garrett Wilson I have no issues with that I actually might switch that honestly like there he’s so good Randall and rackliff are not drinking the Kool-Aid at all they got them in like the 20s so they’re they’re not going to have any Marvin Harrison Jr that’s it I mean he’s not going to last into the third round into the 20s so all right we like the landing spot there for for Marvin Harrison Jr daily handle with Jordan Allen uh good morning means and everyone welcome in here uh on this Wednesday we’re talking about some some wide receivers rookie wide receivers and taking a look at the class here with Adam feifer of ftn so Malik neighbors here pick six to the to the Giants you know I I really do like this guy of course he he reminds me a little bit of AJ Brown um this is exactly what the the Giants needed right they were one of the worst offenses in football last year even over the past couple of Seasons they’ve been one of the worst offenses ranked 30th in points uh in 2023 they lost their best offensive player in saquon Barkley uh and he joins a wide receiver room that’s pretty mediocre I mean Darius Slayton Jaylen Hyatt and W Del Robinson are guys that the Giants draft over the past couple years and I do take notice when when dble drafts some of these guys and I’m not ready to say that they can’t be relevant in fantasy but I think we’ve seen the best from Slayton Darren Waller is contemplating retirement so I think neighbors opens up as like the clear-cut number one right away uh in this passing attack and I I get it’s Daniel Jones and um you know he may not be the best weapon here but I think this will help Daniel Jones to get the ball out quickly for him uh neighbors man I really liked his I did the right up here for for ftn I was talking about his incredible suit with like all the highlights inside of his jacket I’m like man there’s not enough room inside that jacket for all those highlights that he had he actually had the LSU record for the most yards ever and there’s been some good wide receivers to come out of LSU Justin Jefferson Jamar Chase obj mind you he did play a little bit longer than those guys but he still uh had a really good 2023 nearly 1600 yards 14 touchdowns six foot 200 pounds Speedster I like the pick it’s just the Giants right so it’s hard to really get excited about them from a re from like a redraft or a dynasty standpoint but I I just think you need to block that out like he’d be my number two he’s my number two Auto Rie I’ve seen like similar comparisons of like when Garrett Wilson was drafted bad quarterback situation but zero competition for targets that’s the same situation here like he’s the only receiver that can flirt with Marvin Harrison’s targets outside of maybe lad we’ll talk about lad but yeah I don’t care about the quarterback situation because Brian dayall is going to scheme Touches for him he’s amazing after the catch he reminds me a lot of Odell Beckham so um it’s not as sexy as if he went and played with Justin Herbert but 130 targets year one is probably his floor how how many did you say 130 120 130 yeah I think that’s fair um yeah did Waller officially retire I thought he was just compl contemplating so I the as I left him out of all my rankings yeah from what I I I still have him because I the last time I looked it was still contemplating but yeah I feel like he is going to it just just feels like it but yeah he I don’t think he’s officially retired yet Joshua but I mean the Giants yeah he’s contemplating the Giants drafted a tight end uh so that’ll tell you a little bit about the the feeling there and and anyways even if he doesn’t retire he’s not he’s not a factor uh he’s not a factor anymore and uh he wasn’t a Factor last year just unfortunately can’t stay on the field uh okay so we’ll continue here we get f for get your camera going I think we lost you there for a second but I think you’re still in in the Stream which is good uh so your boy romad dun here to the Chicago Bears uh at pick nine so they they make this selection there was some reports as you mentioned earlier about the bills potentially trading up here for romad dun uh I don’t have him ranked high in redraft I do think that this is I agree with what you what you said he’s not the same Prospect as jsn there’s a lot of comparisons heading into an offense but there’s already some veteran wide receivers a rookie quarterback things like that I think it could take a little bit of time but from a from a rookie only standpoint your rookie only draft he’d be picked three for me right off the board super Flex I’m still thinking about him very early of course fall super you’re GNA see some drafts where he goes 108 because of the quarterbacks right but if people are set up near the top it he he may still kind of go five or six like let’s say get the quarterbacks maybe Williams Daniels May McCarthy maybe we stop there Harrison five neighbors six then we’re starting to think maybe seven eight like you’re in the what8 N spot in our draft you’re going to have I’m 108 I don’t think he’s going to be there for me like for me 108 I I probably shouldn’t be saying this because you’re in the league with me but whatever but I’m like 11 I think I know that I’m not going to get him well no I’m saying like the 108 spot for me because there’s so much depth in this class I would I would really contemplate especially if you’re like set at tight end you don’t love the Brock landing spot 108’s a spot where I’m looking to trade back probably yeah well you’ve been pretty vocal about that you’re not telling any secrets even trying to trade back true for a little bit uh okay so Rome what do you think about him from a redraft standpoint though are you going to be in or out on him because it in that serious draft man he was like in the eighth round and there’s some other rookie wide receivers that we’re going to discuss that I think from a redraft standpoint I would rather have than than Rome in this year yeah so he’s probably my favorite player in this entire class at any position I think he’s going to be an absolute star but for year one yeah like if I’m ranking the rookie wide receivers I would I did rank lad ahead of him um peol is is a question mark like if they traded Debo then you can start talking about ranking Ricky piol ahead of him um Keon Coleman’s probably a little bit behind just because I I just think they’re not even close in terms of players um yeah I think Rome is more like a chryst la with way more physicality um there’s been Devonte Adams comps DeAndre Hopkins comps um and yeah like for for this year like you’re probably looking at him as a wider for four that’s going to have some weeks but for dynasty like yeah if you’re if you’re down on this landing spot it it’s tough because especially if you’re a contending team like you’re looking at okay 2024 rookie season but Kean Allen’s probably going to be gone next year and then you’re yeah you have Roma as the wide receiver too maybe even the wide receiver kind of 1B with DJ Moore is the 1A attached to Caleb Williams for the next however many years so um yeah you definitely like temper expectations a little bit year one for redraft but I also like I and I made this mistake a lot in redraft leagues where like I I pass on the rookie wide receivers because landing spot and I overlook the fact that maybe by week eight he’s just better than Keenan Allen Keenan Allen one of the best receivers we’ve seen over the past decade but he’s going to be 32 Roman dun’s 21 like he’s one of the best prospects like it’s it’s been it’s cliche this point but any other class he’s the clear wide receiv here one like he’s that good it’s just he has two amazing players alongside of him in his class I love the physicality that he brings to see the I like the olve comparison I really like the Mike Evans one as well Rex is not feeling he’s not drinking the adun in Chicago doesn’t like it uh the consensus uh at wide receiver and a redraft standpoint over at FTM fantasy is wide receiver 45 uh lochner is the highest on him at 38 I believe you got him in the low 40s I have him like early 50s so I mean it could adjust there H does it do anything for you when it comes to DJ Moore or Keenan Allen DJ Moore move Keenan all down yeah Keenan is the guy that you you move down I think he’s more of a wide receiver three I was able to get him um in the fifth round as my third wide receiver in that serious draft which I thought was pretty solid uh DJ Moore went to Jeff rackliffe uh his first it was the last pick in the second round I thought that may have been a little early I just wonder like the huge like I don’t know if DJ is is DJ a wide receiver one anymore we have to remember too Shane Waldron’s are OC now he was a Seattle last year who was drafted by Seattle in a similar situation with Rome jsn and they weren’t playing a lot of three- wide sets to start the season because Shane waden historically loves 12 personnel and then what do the Bears do in the offseason they obviously already have Co k then they signed Gerald Everett so I just wonder how much 12 to 11 personnel they’re going to run obviously if they’re not running as much you know 11 personnel that’s bad for all the receivers but DJ Moore probably the one receiver where like 11 12 like he’s on the field matter and then it’s going to come down to I would imagine in 11 personnel they start with him and Keenan Allen but there might be some where they just say you know what we need more size on the outside if we’re 11 so Shane walon his offense is going to be really interesting to see what they do in terms of personnel packages with between his history between adding Gerald Everett but also the good thing is he the last couple seasons in Seattle they have been towards the top in terms of pace no huddle rate so I think there’s still a lot of kind of underlying good in landing spot despite the fact that you see oh Keenan Allen and DJ Moore they’re both there it’s bad for Rome I get it from a rap perspective but I also at the same time like if he’s falling in redrafts I would not be afraid to just draft him have as my bench wide receiver and then there’s all that upside on my bench yeah you can sign me up for that yeah um DJ’s the one that I want Keenan he’s got that floor a little bit of a boost in PPR leagues I think you laid it out perfectly but uh I think DJ you know before the Roma dun Edition like I had this guy as as a top 12 wide receiver like I’ve had to move him down now into like the you know mid to you moved him below Marv yeah I moved him below Marv and then I’ve moved Keenan a little bit like Keenan the consensus for uh Keenan Allen is wide receiver 26 and most of us have him in in the 20s and and randle’s got him I think in the 30s so he’s not drinking the Kool-Aid at all uh again just to reference to Serius draft Harrison wide receiver 11 in the second neighbors wide receiver 27 in in the fourth and romad dun wide receiver 40 in the seventh and we’ll continue to talk that all sounds right to me like even even though I admitted that I probably should move Marv up a little bit that sounds that sounds I don’t think Marvin Harrison Jr’s at like by when a lot of uh leagues are drafting maybe he gets that high to Y 11 but I think he’ll probably fall in between like 12 and 16 yeah but everything else feels pretty pretty accurate from what we’re probably going to see in a couple months yeah yeah I just want to bring I’m going to bring it up quick and just tell you I mean you can guess anyways but the wide receivers that it started the this is the wide receivers is how it started it went lamb Hill Chase Jefferson St Brown AJ Brown Garrett Wilson NOA Devonte Adams Nico colins and then Marvin Harrison Jr I think Nico’s a touch High there uh I could consider olave Brenan auk as we discussed and maybe even Mike Evans because everyone disrespect Mike Evans and you just know what you’re going to get from Evans every single year um but let’s let’s continue here with some some of the wide receiver talk anyways the big winnner Caleb Williams we’re talking about all these weapons and where they should go and if they should fall down but even even if he walked into the bearer situation and they had DJ Moore Cole KT and Swift I’m like that’s that’s not bad and then you add ke and Allen in Rome it’s like yeah I mean Bryce young had nothing he didn’t have anybody inside his wide receiver room that can get any separation Adam Thelen for a minute and then he cooled down of course with the age so they did him a couple favors here in this draft so get a little bit deeper here Brian Thomas Jr to Jacksonville at pick 28 and uh in the slack immediately you talked about uh Gabe Davis so to me Gabe Davis now is I think he’s a loser in this situation they acquired him in the offseason they still have Christian Kirk Evan Ingram they released Z Jones this week uh there’s a lot going on there in Jacksonville but Ridley was able to put up wide receiver two numbers I think he finishes like wide receiver 17 or 18 on what I thought was like a pretty mediocre season like it was okay he left so many fantasy points out there oh man drops drops he led the NFL with 24 End Zone targets but like you mentioned I think it was like week three I forget who they were playing he probably had six End Zone targets alone in that game one of them he dropped I think he dropped a second one he couldn’t get his feet in bounds one he got hit at the back of the end zone and couldn’t hold on the ball and the thing I love about Brian Thomas’s game and I’ve talked about it a lot he has unbelievable awareness of where the sideline is especially in the end zone like obviously the college R is one foot and bounds he he didn’t care he was getting two feet in bounds all the time so like if he got I 24 End Zone targets is insane I don’t think he’s getting that as a rookie but I think he’s going to lead this team in End Zone targets right away like he’s got that type of role and that type of size and that type of sideline awareness and then he also has crazy speed he was good in contested catch situations um yeah like I I made two trades like two weeks before the draft and I traded away Gabriel Davis in both of them and I’m obviously like I was expecting Thomas to be honestly I was I was going into the draft expecting him to be in Jacksonville or Buffalo so um you I think he’s somebody I struggle with because I still think this offense is going to go through Kirk and Evan Ingram I think Brian Thomas is probably going to slide into like six maybe seven targets per game if they go P heavy but there’s upside in the targets he’s going to get in this offense I think well he’s got the size uh 6’3 209 lbs he’s got the length to make all the catches uh I think he can make an immediate impact he may be kind of Boomer bust for the first few weeks of the season but I think Gabe Davis is going to be more Boomer bust like that’s what we know about Gabe Davis he falls into the wide receiver three four range maybe flex but uh I I like the landing spot and from a dynasty startup like him and Trevor Lawrence are interesting you know moving forward and a lot of people talk about his lack of rout tree like he you know he’s limited but I I think it’s unfair because at entire offense though like it like to do certain things you know he’s like herob Ball Deep touchdowns led the nation in in touchdowns I had 17 which is the most since Devonte Smith in in 2020 at 23 Heisman winner but you know I heard right from uh Mike Den Brock who was the OC for LSU last series with Notre Dame now I heard him on serus uh leading up to the draft saying like it it he could hear the outside noise of Brian Thomas he you know his rout Tre is limited he can only do certain things he’s like that is just completely false we just didn’t ask to do like deep Crossing routes or short intermediate routes because we this how we were set up we had a guy like Malik neighbors like we had all the tools and all the weapons so I think it’s unfair to to say that he Jaden Daniels was literally the best deep passing quarterback in the league like it was just everything was working for them everything was working so yeah I’m a big fan and redraft too like he’s buried in sleeper uh he has go back to that serious draft he was 1 2 3 four five six the seventh wide receiver taken off the board I ended up taking him in round 10 at wide receiver 58 so you said he was a seventh rookie wide receiver seventh rookie obviously the top three went ahead of him and then what lad Coleman worthy lad yeah and I don’t hate it I don’t hate that I would I would draft everybody I would draft everybody that you mentioned ahead of him Coleman is the the close one for me just because like we’ll talk about it like we’ll talk about we’ll talk about it yeah we wait let’s let’s finish these last three so worthy at 28 pel at 31 and Legette at 32 uh so we already kind of discussed worthy but the fastest human we’ve ever seen at the combine legit I’m not making this up he is the fastest guy we’ve ever seen at the combine um the the chiefs made it I mean back-to-back Super Bowls and the fact that they won the Super Bowl last year you know leading the wide all the the wide receiver room led the NFL in drops and Kelsey had a down year and the offense wasn’t explosive in terms of 20 yards or more plays they were 16th middle of the pack uh so they made it known that they their goal I guess in the offseason was to get speed and Hollywood Browns got a little bit of speed uh and of course of course Xavier worthy you know I I think that this is just this is exactly what they’ve been missing of course since from Tyreek Hill and I think it opens things up for Travis Kelce as well like he faces the team in general a lot of two wide coverages can open up some space under for Kelsey like that’s when Hill was there and when Hill wasn’t there and they didn’t have that deep threat it was easier to bracket him tougher matchups just the role in general was tougher since they didn’t have that vertical speed I even felt like they had load Management on Kelsey last year uh in terms of playoffs he played nearly 10 more snaps than he did in the regular season he averaged nearly 100 yards per game in the postseason and just like over 60 in the regular season so I think this makes his job a little bit easier and it helps everybody else in the offense as well but the caveat here is that he’s a chief he’s got the speed next to his name it’s momes this guy is going to get overdrafted I think he’s gonna get overdrafted in redraft leagues and even in Dynasty leagues he is and you know far too well when they drafted C everybody already put this guy into the Hall of Fame they were comparing him to Brian Westbrook they said that’s it a running back in Kansas City’s offense with Andy Reed are you kidding me he’s gonna be exactly like Brian Westbrook with Shawn McCoy Jamal Charles all these guys and he didn’t live up he didn’t even come close to expectations he was immediately everyone was like rookie 101 like drafted him ahead of Jonathan Taylor like it’s in hindsight it’s it’s crazy to look back and think that it wasn’t even a conversation uh what do you make of this where should he go and redraft and and how high are you on from a dynasty standpoint yeah like you kind of hit it he’s probably going to be overdrafted and redraft so I don’t see myself having him on many teams but the landing spot is downright terrifying like um in and you know in terms of the other 31 teams in the NFL like obviously the speed element is one thing but like he destroyed off coverage last year in college and where he kind of was struggling was when teams would like press him off the line of scrimmage that’s cool now he goes to the Chiefs who teams don’t play Man against the Chiefs you already alluded to that you just you can’t play Man against him you can’t no and what does Andy Reed do according to Ft and data Chiefs third in pre-step motion over the past three seasons at 52% so you put worthy in pre-step motion giving him free releases off the line of scrimmage with the with the occasional deep shots every game from Patrick Mahomes and that’s the other thing too was ball tracking is like I wrote about it but it’s like you compare it to what mv’s ball tracking was on deep shots in Kansas City it’s not even close so yeah like in non in non um superlex rookie drafts you can make the Casey could go as early as the 104 yeah I mean I don’t I don’t hate it uh from this redraft standpoint I’ll reference the the draft again eighth round wide receiver 48 just after lad mcon we’re going to get into him in a minute it sounds like we’ll probably only do wide receivers today maybe I’ll get you back we’ll do running backs there’s just so many nice wide receivers to talk about and I don’t want to rush the show I know you got the Pod cone so let’s continue to to roll here uh I definitely like the landing spot I think it just makes a lot of sense and again it just frees up Kelsey I think he I still like leaport as my number one tight end but I think Kelce is he can have a little bit of a bounceback season and and maybe what he did last year is just the floor and he could do a little bit more uh because he was awesome in the playoffs it’s so funny too because like his his stats for a top fantasy tight end were still good it’s just raised to 900 to a, yards from Travis Kel so it was just weird I know it was just weird uh and he didn’t lead the team in touchdowns right it was Rashid rice though there okay we’ll continue here and let’s uh wrap up with purcel and again I’ll throw it over to you the purcel thing again did surprise me I thought maybe the writing was on the wall that San Fran was going to move one of those guys but he got purel inside this offense uh I do I do like him as a player and Brock py and Shanahan and at some point you know Debo’s probably out the door one of the two guys I say they try to keep auk of course the reports I hear it it’s like they’d rather trade Debo like duh you know what I mean like he’s had injuries got the contract he’s a little bit older like of course like you want to keep auk um and but most teams I think Colin would rather auk than Debo and it’s not a sh it’s not a slight on Debo but would you make of that personal move and we’ll we’ll slide into Carolina getting a brce young a weapon yeah 3 like nobody had him going the first round and then when it was San Francisco allall teams it was okay somebody’s getting traded because the rumors were picking up right before that I still think there’s a chance Debo gets traded it we we’ve seen it all the time it’s pretty much impossible for this team to have mcaffrey KD Debo and auk all be really good every week there’s somebody somebody gets left out whether it’s KD Having Eight for 163 and then next week he has two for 40 so like Ricky peol if San Francisco is full at wide receiver this year is going to be probably somebody you rely want to start so like it’s it’s kind of that simple for me I did the write up on the blog it’s that simple like if they trade somebody I I have way more interest in him it’s like I I like to I tend to like to overanalyze things but it’s really that simple for me if they don’t trade anybody I I see him being an impactful player for them it’s a good scheme fit but he’s not going to be somebody we start in fantasy no he’s like a last pick in best ball formats if you have a San Fran stack or we’ll get into where he fits in the consensus wide receiver rankings in a moment but I couldn’t agree more with you and that team like they’re arguably the best team on paper in the NFL but like they weren’t without positions to address the fact that they still went receiver at 31 pretty surprising yeah like maybe it’s a maybe it’s you know maybe it’s a trade deadline move with Debo or something like that I don’t know but I agree if they do any move it’s going to be trading Debo Samuel yeah we could see it we’ll see uh but until that happens pel’s to your point he’s not going to be interesting from a redraft standpoint I do think he’s he’s very interesting from a dynasty rookie only standpoint and then Legette uh did you you didn’t want the bills to get Legette was that a fallback option for you it was it was I would have been I would have been fine with it my dream scenario was him to go to the Colts because it’s a perfect scheme fit for Shane Steen but yeah there’s been obviously a lot of like comparisons the last year with Jonathan Mingo I think he’s I think Legette is such an interesting player because he had that late breakout but has all the tools and I think at the end of the day it’s more of a like you can draft him in like the start of the second round in rookie drafts because of the draft capital I just think it’s more reason like for weeks I’ve been saying go trade for Bryce young and Dynasty because everything they’ve done this offseason has been to help him hire Dave Canales sign two uh offensive guards and fre agency to help him trade for Deontay Johnson uh draft Xavier Legette who has crazy speed and after the catch ability and like Dave Canal has talked about all the ways they’re going to give him the football so I think like he’s got way more of a chance of being relevant year one than than Rickie peol for instance oh 100% yeah uh I I think that Carolina did it I like Brooks he’s my favorite running back we’ll get him another time I think they did some good things for Bryce young and just trying to you know get some skill around him Sanders They just added so many players they did they have a lot of holes but at least they try to like get some offensive players that can get some separation make some plays for Bryce young they won’t go from like the 30th ranked offense to seventh but if they’re like 16th 17th that’s that’s that’s all I need from br young so it’s going to be harder to do so now but if you can go trade for a dynasty yeah 100% And then let’s move into the second round let’s let’s give the mic to you Keon Coleman uh Buffalo I think I would rather give the mic to Keon Coleman because he is hilarious he is awesome man is he ever he is awesome I he I hope he has 1500 yards and 15 touchdowns this year because he is so easy to root for I’m so excited talking about the the jacket and shopping give you some shopping tips man this guy is phenomenal I I watch that press confence a couple times like this guy’s a this guy’s a stud uh I I’ll give you my thoughts first on how I think he fits in you know kind of perfectly with this bill’s offense and it’s give it the mic to you and how how what you think as well um that was the the rumor the bills you know started the second round and it was like minus 40 for them to take a wide receiver and I think I mention you Coleman there and I think uh Pope was one in uh Franklin which I think would have just been awful uh no no shots fired at Franklin but Coleman I think you know they needed size and they got that here he’s not an elite separator uh but I think he you know he’s not really going to stretch the field a ton but man this guy and you’re G to hear it all the time and and when you people break down prospects like play basketball all this stuff like he can box out he can box out in the Red Zone he can make any kind of catch thrown his way the difficult catches Allen just has to get it to him he can be a nice piece a nice weapon and I think he just brings something different that the bills don’t have all of a sudden they have all kinds of different styles now you got Curtis Samuel who’s familiar with Brady you got Shakir who kind of popped off towards the end canc and Knox like and now Josh Allen doesn’t have to I mean there’s nearly 2,000 yards gone from Diggs and and Gabe Davis but now he doesn’t really have to focus in on on one guy I think he can kind of play like momes kind of like the quote unquote point guard situation like he can he can spread the ball around he can actually play QB move it around and use utilize all of his weapons so I this is a really good fit man and and I like the player yeah so one of my favorite players in this draft class is AD Mitchell so admittedly I was like holy crap we’re going to get ad Mitchell I’m so excited and that kind of took away from the excitement when we drafted Coleman but the more I think about it it’s like we the bills haven’t had a wide receiver like Keon Coleman since in the Josh Allen era it’s been Steph Beasley John Brown good players but nobody that you know 6’4 with like everybody’s making a big deal 4640 first of all we know he’s not that slow we know he plays faster whatever sure my favorite part about Keon Coleman’s game other than the circus catches you’ll see in the highlights like he returned punts at Florida State which you don’t see for somebody his size when they when they design screens for him he is way better after the catch than you would think like he catches the ball and already knows where he’s going with it there zero wasted movement I think that’s an element they can add I think Coleman obviously they they asked about it in his press conf confence about the off structure kind of broken plays how he’s always been good at that and I don’t think there’s a quarterback that you would want to play with more in that element than Josh Allen so yes is he going to get the 161 and a half targets per season that Steph was getting absolutely not he’s not he’s not even going to come close to it people are saying he’s the new Wiest year one he’s not it’s do concade but I agree with you he is he is what they were missing and I think if I I think it’s going to work one of two ways it’s sounds kind of obvious but I think he’s either going to hit and hit insanely insanely high or he’s going to be a bust and you know that’s that’s the Home Run swing that Brandon Bean wanted to make and for what it’s worth second straight season where Josh Allen told Brandon bean I want this guy last year was conc this year it’s Keon Coleman so um I I don’t think he’s going to be like people are saying oh he’s he’s gonna be Gabe Davis he is technically Gabe Davis’s replacement he is not Gabe Davis he’s not the same player it’s not even close he does more after the catch and the other thing too we don’t care about it for Fantasy but I guarantee you they saw him his tape run blocking and that’s what Gabe Davis was great at and they said yeah he’s going to fit right in so we have to remember it’s a new offense Joe Brady took over they went way way more run heavy and you kind of mentioned it they’re going to be way more multiple way more versatile and um he’ll have some weeks for sure but um I I just I’m so excited watching his press conferences I hope he has 2,000 yards I he’s so easy to root for and again he’s only even 21 like brandy was talking about it they like they don’t even know what else he can like Brandon be was saying what if he’s what if he gets like an inch tall or six inches taller what if he gets faster what if like he’s not even 21 yet yeah he’s not even grown in he can’t he can’t even buy a drink and Applebee’s in the states uh yeah he’s not even grown into his body yet uh which is scary to think about but I could see him man as like you know maybe I don’t want to say touchdown dependent but I could see him as a guy that gets like seven or eight touchdowns this season easily right with his big body and his frame inside the Red Zone and that could you know push to wide receiver three low I actually want to go look and see if this actually happened but like somebody that follows a team as close to as anybody I don’t think the bills have actually ever called a screen for Gabe Davis I can guarantee you they will dial up screens for Keon Coleman despite the fact that he’s 6’4 right like he is better after the catch and people think so um I don’t think he’s going to be Gabe Davis like occasional zero catch games but I also think he’s going to have some of those Gabe Davis ceiling games where it’s like four for 130 and two touchdowns so go five or seven minutes here so let’s kind of get through some of these guys lad makoni to the Chargers Jen PK to New England and ad9 Mitchell who I it sounds like we both extremely like a lot and I actually like this landing spot for him we talked about Steve styken so I’ll throw over to you for for these three guys uh who’s your favorite how would you rank them yeah it’s lad it’s not even close I mean we were making a huge deal if the Chargers not going receiver at five overall they trade up in the early second round they draft lad I know this offense is going to be way more run heavy with Harbaugh and Greg Roman but if lad makoni gets a 20% Target share from Justin Herbert he’s going to probably like if I had to put my money on any rookie wide receiver finishing behind the top two as the wide receiver three among the rookies this year would be lad so lad in that serious draft uh that I keep referencing he was wide receiver five among rookies actually six among rookies I would take him over worthy and I would take him over Coleman uh yeah I would Worthy’s the one where like I get it Worthy’s probably going to go over him in most drafts but I would take lad I would take lad as the widest year four among the rookies probably maybe even three actually no three I think I have him head of Rome yeah and that that’s where I was going to go like makoni here in the ninth as wide receiver 52 like that’s steel this guy’s going to move up draft boards as we get closer to NFL season uh we still like Palmer we’ve seen some moments from him Quinton Johnson I still believe in as a player but like makoni is gonna have a role right away play in slot uh we we know that the they almost 60% of their targets are gone from last year right people talk about like the receivers but ecka and jald ever aren’t there either it’s just insane it’s a crazy it is a crazy turn around and they’re going to run the ball a lot with Harwell I get it they’re going to run but at at moments you got to throw the football Herbert’s going to throw the football and you also can’t Justin you can’t you also can’t turn Justin Herbert into a 450 attempt quarterback it’s just that’s just that’s just outlandish you can’t do that right uh Aden I Mitchell let’s let’s discuss him so I thought the bills were gonna take him as well it’s one of my favorite players in the draft pick 52 to the Colts here so uh I’m very familiar with Steve Stein’s offense from his Philadelphia days and I think he’s actually one of the one of the most underrated play callers in the NFL I love just about everything that he does and I think Adan Mitchell like I don’t want to compare him to AJ but I think he could be his AJ in this offense like oneon-one big body contested catches good tracking can adjust get Downs in the slot Pitman is short intermediate routes um and Richardson’s not super accurate uh but this is exactly what this offense was missing last year right you have people that are gonna stack the Box uh you know you’re going to worry about Jonathan Taylor you’re going to worry about Anthony Richardson what he can do with his legs and then that’s going to leave a lot of one-on-one so and I think that Adon Mitchell can can beat some one-on-one he can he can go deep he can get down the field in a hurry uh and he can give a rich an option down the field which is just something that I didn’t think that they had so there’s a lot of RPO uh and when you account for the run there is a lot of one-on-one coverages that’s going to happen so it may not happen year one but I really like the fit I like the player and Steve styken is gonna use him I think a lot like he used AJ in the offense in Philadelphia a couple years ago yeah I love ad um I think he’s a first round Talent so we’ll see but uh double moves like his size the fluidity in which he moves is fantastic and yeah sten’s offense is so fantasy friendly they led the league in Pace they led the league in no huddle rate so pitman’s still going to be the one they’re still going to run the football lot with JT obviously but yeah Mitchell is somebody I struggle with like he’s probably going to come off the board in rookie drafts in between like the 20 I’ve seen anywhere between like the 203 and like the 208 which feels right um and redraft I I redraft is like kind of a pass I feel yeah as much as I love him I just think there’s other Landing spots that I would rather take a shot on but um yeah if he falls in rookie drafts like do not be afraid don’t worry about the fact that he was a borderline first round uh you know selection in most mock drafts and he fell to where he fell I think he’s really really good I like the offense I’m a huge believer in Anthony Richardson and styken um the question is like yeah like they just drafted Josh DS last year pretty sure like the floor is probably where Edie Mitchell just replaces the role that Alec Pierce had but I think there’s more of a ceiling there too definitely I think Pierce is the Fallout guy here so makaki was six Thomas was seven in the redraft league at Sirius as wide receiver 58 Xavier Legette uh in the 10th round as wide receiver 59 Aden on Mitchell I think this price is fair wide receiver 69 in the 13th and then Roman Wilson in the 13th as wide receiver I think this guy is going to be like an eighth or ninth round pick as we creep closer let’s kind of recap here with some some other wide receivers so uh anything else on this board like Roman Wilson do you like him as a player 84 like he’s in a situation too where he can step up and be like the number two wide receiver Tomlin talked about him a ton uh wanted this guy liked him you know at the Senior Bowl and ended up getting him so maybe it’s not him but is there anybody else in this list that you’d like to discuss is somebody that you like again from a redraft standpoint Wilson’s like wide receiver five or six for me he’s a he’s ahead of some of these other guys because based on pure volume and opportunity in the landing spot Germaine Burton’s pretty interesting because there’s obviously been rumors surrounding T Higgins um they spent you know the 80th overall selection on Burton he primarily played in the slot so like even even if T Higgins is still there this year Burton’s going to take the Tyler Boyd role an offense at Zack Taylor all he does is run 11 and spread the defense out so assuming Germaine Burton you assuming they’re three wide like assuming T hickin is there next year and Burton takes over that slot role he’s going to be on the field a ton and at Joe burrow offense where Joe burrow is healthy hopefully this year and if there’s a scenario where T gets traded then it becomes even more interesting for Burton and then next year T Higgins is a free agent so like and it’s going to be tough for them to pay him obviously when they have to pay Jamar Chase so like Jermaine Burton he could be the second Target in this offense at some point so I think he’s very interesting there he’s definitely the most interesting player in that round three uh tier for me corley’s kind of men just because they trade up to get him and they were so excited to get him he’s been comp to Debo with the scheme touches and the yards after the catch I’m not high on him for redraft just because like and maybe I’m wrong maybe they’re saying look all of our offense went through Bree and Garrett Wilson last year we need somebody else to get the ball do and obviously if Rogers is there that’s obviously going to elevate the entire offense but for me Germaine Burton’s most interesting in this tier yeah and especially from a dynasty standpoint you said it perfectly right like if they move on from T Higgins then and the number two in the offense the Joe burrow link to him is is very appealing anything here as we get a little bit deeper I I was surprised that Franklin fell to the fourth even though I’m not the the hugest fan there to Denver like I wasn’t as high on Troy Franklin as a prospect either and if you told me like before the draft that he was going to be drafted in the fourth round I’d be like okay absolutely zero interest but he goes to Denver and plays with his former college quarterback and they already lost Judy who knows what the role they have for Marvin Mims is I trust Sean as a play caller and there’s been cor Sutton rumors so like it’s it’s hard for somebody that was like Troy Franklin was a player as well who was getting like late first early to midc round Buzz for the entire draft process falls to the fourth but it’s not a bad landing spot All Things Considered like joining the NFL is hard enough for a rookie but it’s a little bit less difficult when you’re joining with the quarterback you played in college with so I I don’t think that can be kind of lost uh in the process and courland Sutton you know they Jerry Judy move on from courand Sutton is another guy that they could move on from as well so he could he could fall in maybe in the second half to some targets Bob Means is entering a wide receiver room that’s not you know super deep either you know with Chris olve at Perry rashed Shahed maybe he can fall into some targets as well the Eagles grabbing Smith and Wilson of course buried we see maybe potentially some special team stuff there punt return stuff from from some of those guys but anybody else on this list brenon rice of of course Jerry’s son uh to the Chargers anybody here that that’s like a deep sleeper for you I know you don’t want to share too many Secrets you’re going to draft together but bu I’m already locked in with wide receivers so it’s all good I know I need one please well is there someone here that maybe you think you’re you got your eye on for for later in drafts probably Javon Baker like I know they drafted jayen pul and they have de Mario Douglas but there’s an opportunity there I thought he was an underrated Prospect so um and obviously like hopefully the quarterback situation is fix with Drake May so it’ll probably be him um maybe TZ Walker but unlikely do you think that may will start week one I have a feeling they’ll go jacobe yeah I think it’s going to be brassette yeah no rush no rush they got a lot of holes figure it out we don’t want to put him behind the line with you know that that weak wide receiver room and offensive line uh but the defense is solid at least in New England so they did draft some offensive weapons which is really nice to see for May Company uh so this is what we have for our consensus ranking by the way over at FTM fantasy.com Marvin Harrison JR this is rookie only uh and this isn’t for redraft this is for your Dynasty leagues so Marvin Harrison Jr number one Malik neighbors number two Roma dun number three Brian Thomas Jr four Xavier worthy five lad makoni six Keenan Coleman at seven ad9 Mitchell at eight and we got pcel Legette 910 pulk at 11 we just kind of discuss him I like him man I think he’s a I think he may take a good year year or two uh but I think that I think he’s got the higher ceiling there between him and Baker and we’ll see it maybe next season in New England when may is the the full-time stter there Roman Wilson Troy flanklin then we got Corley Burton McMillan who does catch a lot of passes man kind of everything thr last year of his contract yeah absolutely Baker Walker mcaffrey and then Washington here so what do you make of this list is there a player or two that’s higher for you or lower for you in your own rookie rankings I believe I have lad ahead of Thomas I can’t remember it’s close but um yeah not much looks like Troy Franklin is another player that’s kind of gone sometimes I see him late second sometimes I see him mid third because like it’s weird when you have a fourth round selection but it’s not a bad situation right like so I think he’s interesting obviously um Roman Wilson like I I I would like Pittsburgh has been linked to wide receivers too so like that could change his his Outlook if they trade for somebody as well um yeah it just comes down to Ricky Piel for me like if they don’t trade anybody again this is Dynasty so it’s not for redraft but yeah I guess it’s more of a Debo Samuel this you would think this is last year I know auk’s in the final year of his contract they would probably like to resign him but um yeah for me it comes down to like that four five six group that could be shuffled really in any way and I wouldn’t really fight you I would probably go worthy lad than Thomas but um yeah it’s it’s a deep class for sure yeah my own I’m I I think we in agreement in a lot um my own I would go worthy worthy Thomas and then makoni Coleman but it’s yeah it’s so tough uh you know you got Coleman linked to Allen which is just super nice Maki the roll right away and super nice with Herbert and of course like the the worthy like I I’m in a su I’m in it’s not even a super Flex League we’ll get out of here in this I’m I’m not even in a super Flex league but I’m in a single quarterback Dynasty league and I got pick three and I have I have Patrick Mahomes like it’s just so damn tempting I know how the draft is gonna fall it’s gonna go Marvin Harris and Malik like I don’t want to take worthy over a dunesday like it’s not the right call but I mean but like to have a guy like worthy linked to momes like it’s super exciting right so uh maybe I’ll maybe I’ll trade back I don’t know what I’ll do maybe I’ll trade back you know what you should do you should take you should take the elite wide receiver in Roma dun and not even think about although I will say like it’s so funny how our minds work in fantasy like if you had any quarterback in the league not Nam Mahomes you wouldn’t be thinking about worthy W no I wouldn’t think about it at all and I know deep down it’s not the right call like I shouldn’t even be thinking about worthy but the fact that I have momes it’s like oh man those two together for the next couple years is this the Tyreek kill like yes but um I think the biggest takeaway is that even though we don’t think that romad dun could be fantastic and fantasy relevant in year one from a redraft standpoint don’t let him fall in your rookie only drafts and in startups like get a get some shares of him because he’s gonna be fantastic f for year fantastic as well uh A5 for 24 I know you got the ftn data cast here in a few moments so appreciate you taking uh a long time here with me today to talk some wide receivers and let’s do this again maybe we can chop it up next week we’ll dive into the running backs uh because I know you and I are both big on Jonathan Brooks and he’s in a good spot I think with with Dave Allison if he’s going to have any sort of workload maybe it’s not year one uh but any sort of workload maybe in year two of his career like Rashad White had this pass season the Tampa Bay uh he could be in for a pretty nice career in the NFL hopefully his knees is ready to go and he’s he’s ready to rock but I think he’s uh out of all the backs I think he’s the guy that has the most potential to be a three down back and we’ll see uh maybe he’s a cam ACR gavon Williams type rookie season uh where they’re you know come on strong towards the end of the season but give Adam a follow check out the ftn datacast all of our rankings over at ftn fantasy.com we’ll chop it up soon Adam I appreciate it man cheers [Music]
