shout out to Chicago not taking the entire 10 minutes you know that felt like there was about 5 minutes left so look at the strut here we go three weeks three weeks out of back surgery back surgery yeah you think he’s been doing uh cycling or something you think he’s pelaton he looks good body weight squats 2024 NFL draft the Chicago Bears select Caleb Williams hell yeah quarterback Southern California congratulations to Caleb Williams number one overall pick as has been projected for the last 2 years Mt Mel there was a little chatter for about a half a second or two that this wasn’t going to take place about a month ago but pretty matter of fact for the last two years or so yeah a lot of people killed this guy basically saying hey we don’t know about his character his dad basically saying hey this guy wants to own an NFL team the day he gets drafted turns out that was all you know we saw him at his Pro Day wrestling around with his teammates you know they seem to love him but this kid has everything you’d want in a franchise quarterback he’s got the escapability The elusive the big rocket arm um Chicago now you finally got your guy now let’s see what they can do coach bich Caleb Williams is now going to be tasked with being a number one overall pick quarterback for a city that hasn’t had a really prolific quarterback ever how do you feel about Caleb and the pick for Chicago well again K Kale’s a really talented guy he’s kind of like uh Russell Wilson uh really good lower body strong pretty fast and has a tremendous arm he can make all the throws he’s got a lot of different motions and all that sometimes that helps him sometimes times uh not so much but um the kid’s really talented um I think if he can you know get be more dependable not turn the ball over uh be more dependable with his reads and more consistent and and help the team that you know he’s got a chance to be a really good player obviously all right well let’s expand on that little bit let’s go to Bill bich che’s big breakdown this is 6’1 215 PB Caleb Williams number one pick out of USC coach yeah all right well here we go I mean you can see how quick and and accurate he is on the release here just gets the ball put it right on the money easy for the receiver to you know have a catch and run here um this is a third down 10 play uh you know he doesn’t have anything he’s under pressure he just kind of Chucks the ball out and it’s flat I don’t really like this those these are the kind of plays that end up hurting him not so much on that one but here’s another example of his release quick release balls out of his hand there it is and and those are good solid plays in the NFL like you need those okay so here you see him handling the line of scrimmage give me indicating the uh route looks like he’s changing the protection here but if you watch this play he he gets the ball and he looks over to the defensive left and then he just flips it over to the right side the offensive left side the receiver’s not open he he throws the ball on top and the interception so those are the plays he’s got to eliminate but I mean this is a really good play here he’s backed up in his end zone he looks to his right comes back reads all the way across the field hits the crossing route um again his quickness on his release and his accuracy are really good and when he does this that’s when he’s at his best uh you know here’s a missed opportunity you know there’s the in cut down there at the bottom he’s not under pressure and he just you know pulls it down and starts running around and you know now it’s instead of second and one or maybe first down it’s third and 10 uh this a really this really a spectacular play this is what you love about Caleb Williams right here uh UCLA is playing a kind of a flat coverage you don’t have any field player Caleb steps up in the pocket and you know hits a hits a 70 yard touchdown ball on one legam yeah freak here’s pressure off the edge again he does a nice job of handling the uh the free rusher off the edge and makes a good throw um you know man-to-man coverage here’s the open Receiver right there put it on him holds the ball can’t do that come on Caleb got to take the single you got to get that now this is a good throw right here third and 10 hits the outcut right on time excellent timing good third down conversion those are the ones you need here’s a play down at the bottom linebacker blitzes uh he’s hot to the back and he he puts the ball perfectly for the back just right in front of him uh back’s able to you know break a tackle here and Y Y Yak Y Yak Yak Yak that throw enables the back to run with it and get good yardage uh another good throw outside here you know gets a single coverage makes a good read good throw uh again good solid play and you’s just got to you know try to make more of these and less of the every play being a 90 yard touchdown gets his eyes downfield here makes a nice throw on the on the extended play and then this a good back shoulder throw down here at the bottom this time he he looks and sees the Defenders on top of the receiver puts it on the back shoulder and you know again there’s a lot of good things in the tape some things he’s got to work on biggest thing is don’t turn the ball over and don’t try to do too much uh you do too much early you fall behind you’re playing from behind it just makes it a tough day was in college football at USC or in the NFL well a lot of college guys I think are putting a weight of the team on their back and making some reckless plays you assume and you hope that you’ll be able to eliminate those [Music]

  1. No QB, college or pros, throws against his body as well or as accurately as Caleb Williams. We'll be seeing a lot of this as part of a designed package in his years as a Bear.

  2. I hate how people are saying ‘but it’s Chicago’ like we’ve ALWAYS been some trash organization. We made poor decisions since firing Lovie but were a winning franchise.

  3. Belechick is “Priceless!!”. Build the show around that guy. He’s worth his weight in gold! Incredibly articulate!!!! WHO KNEW!!!! Great work guys thanks!!!

  4. I will be looking for ANY show he becomes a part of! My first play-by-play voice i ever heard was Red Grange in Chicago in the 50’s. Two incredible bookends. Take care of Bill… he’s an NFL masterpiece.

  5. Something tells me that Caleb will not get it done. Chicago will do the same thing they did with Justin Fields. Throw them right in and ask them to make the team incredible. And that will stunt his growth. He will not develop properly. And then in 3 years the Bears will be right back where they started.

  6. He's had 14 interceptions in 3 yrs. What are these guys talking about when they talk about how he throws the football and it's gonna get him in trouble and it causes turnovers? 1099 attempts and 14 interceptions is not reckless. Guys like that are old fashioned and don't like how these new kids play. Period. I'll admit he does run with the ball Reckless. He holds that ball like it's a baby on fire

  7. Horrible Bears pick at #9. You are missing the boat. Yeah, the Chicago Bears have the "best WR group in the NFL" that will not win a championship. KC and Mahomes are a perfect example. If you are intellectually honest, it was KC's defense this year that won the Superbowl. KC had "pedestrian" WR's at best. Who are the top paid receivers now? None are 1st rounders. Poles easily could have gotten a speedster in a later round. Bears need another stud on the D Line. Do you want the Bears to be good, great or legendary? What happened to Championships as the benchmark of a good GM? Poles gave away this year’s second round pick. He did not need to. The Bears 2nd pick should have been BYRON MURPHY II. The best interior defender in this year's draft, Murphy brings an explosion inside that the Bears need. By Poles actions, he demonstrated he can build a good team, but not a legendary team.

  8. It’s why he’s never a QB guru, CW T/O is one of the lowest, he def never watched his games only edit his bad plays… what a funny guy

  9. Unfortunately because Chicago got him he will be another Bears bust. It's how it's always been.

  10. Not gonna lie, Bill was great, flat out talked about the pros and cons and kept it about football

  11. In 2027, after caleb finishes his 3rd year in the nfl, it's possible that the bears could lock him into an extension. maybe 5 years at $70,000,000 per year. I hope caleb ends up worth it. none us know how it will pan out. it's not hard for him to become the bears best qb ever, on paper

  12. Did Belicheck only watch this one game against ucla? Lmao

Stick to defense man. Brady carried you on offense.

  13. Agreed, he is an interception machine. He will be an asset to the opposing team’s defense. I would haven’t drafted Bo Nix instead

  14. IT IS CRAZY AF TO HEAR BELICHECK talk this much. 😅 trying to make him seem more human so he can get another job coaching 😂😂😂

  15. I used to hate Bill when he was coaching the Patriots, but that was just because i hated seeing anyone other than the Bears do so well in the playoffs. But respect to Bill, this guy knows football, and doesn't mince words.

  16. This guy gets more hype than anyone else and he didn’t even have a down yet in the NFL. Relax everyone

  17. I really appreciated this. he used to praise Justin so now we knew know he was lying. Bill is being hard on Caleb. That’s how we know he gonna be great.
