everything needs to begin in this world it’s something I say quite often I certainly never hesitate to hold folks accountable when mistakes or mishaps occur so I’m certainly not about to run from it myself I’m fully aware that I’ve been in the news over the last few days paraded all over social media as well after comments I made during my appearance on Fox News as Hannity last week with the one and only Sean Hannity himself and I’m fully aware of the outcry that has ensued because of it a lot of folks in Black America seem pretty pissed at me right now from friends and loved ones to colleagues contemporaries and dare I say even the NAACP itself quite a few folks were put off if not flat out offended after my words were interpreted as associating support for Trump from the black community with all the legal issues he’s facing for that I sincerely apologize to be clear my words were misconstrued I’m stating right here for the record that my words were taken out of context misrepresenting and depicting me in a way I found bit as insulting and disrespectful as folks in Black America evidently felt about what they thought I said but I’ll own it anyway because you know please know that I know the buck stops with me I’m in the Communication business I’ve been here for 30 years so regardless of whatever interpretation that accompanies any words coming out of my mouth the responsibility ultimately lies with me first and foremost before anybody else I’ve always felt that way I still do I always will period blacks who refuse to support Trump are with his history of issues and we’ll never forget how Trump claimed Obama the nation’s first black president wasn’t even qualified to hold office because he was born in Kenya although Trump recanted the statement during his 2016 campaign Run for the presidency yet Trump’s dissenters were not the topic of discussion when I was talking to Hannity the support he appears to be receiving in the polls was what was being discussed five polls count them five Emerson NBC News Daily GS aost New York Times and rasm all big National polls had Trump leading over the last few weeks plus according to 538 recent local polls also put Trump ahead in Battleground States he’s up six points in Michigan Arizona and Georgia each in so far as Trump gaining support in the black community well how about various Publications with these headlines the Chicago Tribune this time Trump really does seem to be making black voter inroads why the Washington Post voters of color are shifting right are Democrats doomed how about the New York Times as black voters drift to Trump Biden’s allies say they have work to do axio wrote big Biden bummer New York Times Sienna poll shows gaps with key demographic groups Wall Street Journal Biden loses support among black men the hill Biden losing support among black voters in swing States colon survey Al jazer why are black voters backing Donald Trump in record numbers and CBS News black voter support for Trump up from 4% to 23% poll finds why did I say all of that because I want to show you I didn’t just open my mouth I read I listened and I’ve seen a momentum shift as we all have anywhere I appear no matter my subjectivity relating to what I feel is still going to be based on facts being presented into the stratosphere that is who I’ve always been it is what I will always continue to be but it’s never exercised with malice in my heart and soul certainly never to insult or harm the black community my community my thoughts are put out there to present views I believe a pertinent that alerts us to what’s going on what missteps may be taking place and how if at all they could be corrected I hope everyone can understand and appreciate my intent if nothing else as we March forward right here with the Stephen A Smith show but just because my intent was harmless doesn’t mean my words will harm less and I know that I can always do better and I’ll strive to do just that every single day that I’m alive now let me move on to some NBA stuff cuz I got this stuff on my mind right here okay with the Knicks went up 10 against the 76ers jel embiid had a spectacular offensive rebound that led to a dunk and subsequent injury he’s now questionable for game two tonight at the Garden which is a problem because Mitchell Robinson in the Knicks pounded the glass securing 23 offensive rebounds y’all 23 offensive rebounds those boards created 10 extra shots for the Knicks who won by seven points more the same is coming because the 76ers don’t have the size to deal with the Knicks wi hartenstein and obviously Mitchell Robinson are on the court never together of course but still in all on the court nevertheless you look at Josh Hart the way he’s rebounding the basketball and what he’s been able to produce that is a plus you look at the way this kid Duce McBride came off the bench 21 points on 58% shooting five or seven from three-point range the brother bowled out he balled out yes he did and I like how y’all were getting on me a few weeks ago because I forgot the damn dude was on the team thinking about you know somebody else I get it but damn it things happen you forget I broke the news when the Nick traded those cats to Toronto for crying out loud and Detroit by the way so I understand where you’re coming from in the end here’s what it comes down to none of it matters now playoffs are here Nicks up 10 you go up 20 the Philadelphia 76 is going to have to win the series by beating them for the next five games that ain’t going to happen I at hand because we going to head out west where the Lakers and the nuggets are getting ready for game two tonight in Denver and this game could very well be the last stand for LeBron James and the Lakers the Nuggets beat the Lakers Saturday when they didn’t box out scoring 18 points off Second Chance opportunities the Lakers also failed to take care of the ball as the Nuggets scored 14 points off La turnovers Denver has now won nine consecutive games against the Lakers heading into tonight’s critical matchup and it better not be 10 if you’re the Los Angeles Lakers or this series is over now most people believe that Denver Nuggets are going to win anyway rightfully so because they got the Lakers number they’re the better team they the rning defending NBA champions got the best player in the world and nicoa yic Jamal Murray has nothing to sneeze at last year in the Western Conference Finals the average 32 against the Lakers brother something special but here’s the deal when Europe bully which the Lakers have been a vast majority of this season beating up on teams smaller than them you come up into arrives when You Face somebody your own size if not bigger and that is what Denver is when you look at yic with a Michael Porter Jr with an Aaron Gordon they’re not small Aaron Gordon’s 69 Michael Porter Jr 610 the greatness of LeBron James and Anthony Davis obviously undeniable ain’t enough D’Angelo Russell has to show up and ladies and gentlemen to put this stuff in perspective this brother Mr Smooth daddy himself always calm every time I think about him or I see this D’Angelo Russell that kind of persona Raks my damn nerves and I’m sure it Raks LeBron’s nerves and Raks the nerve of Anthony Davis why because every time they give him the ball he makes shots against everybody except for when he’s going up against the Denver Nuggets this Brother last year in the Conference Finals averaged six points on 32% shooting 133% from three-point range the same year that he did that last which was last year in the postseason prior to that in any game where he scored 17 or more the Lakers were undefeated at 7 and0 in the postseason the brother goes up against against the Denver Nuggets and he can’t even get 10 points he played a grand total of 11 minutes in four fourth quarters scored a grand total of two points that is who we’re talking about here with D’Angelo Russell and now we fast forward the brothers on the record quoted as saying you know what the haters and the vitriol and the criticism gives you new life it motivates you it elevates you blah blah blah blah blah and then you show up in game one and you shoot six for 20 one n from three-point range it damn near got to a point where the Nuggets was like go ahead and shoot go ahead and shoot go ahead let let him shoot it didn’t quite remind me of that time that Carmelo Anthony was guarding Ben Simmons and then said oh [ __ ] and then turned around and sprinted into the paint because he looked like a damn fool defending them outside of the three-point line knowing the brother didn’t even want to hit layups it ain’t quite that bad but when de’s going up against the angel Russell it just don’t seem to be great for him he seems to wilt beneath the pressure that’s a problem if D’Angelo Russell doesn’t show up if Austin Reeves doesn’t show up Lakers don’t have a chance your back courts got to be able to produce for you Hui haimura just needs to be more aggressive he only took four shots hit two of them he needs to be more aggressive but D’Angelo Russell and Austin Reeves in that order have to show up in order for the Lakers to have a chance otherwise they going to lose this series and guess what ladies and gentlemen it ain’t beyond the realm of comprehension that they can end up getting swept twice in a row and if they end up getting swept twice in a row which I do not believe is going to happen I do not believe it’s going to happen but if the Lakers end up getting swept backto back years in the postseason by the Denver Nuggets I don’t want to hear no more nonsense about goat James I don’t want to hear it one game one now I know it’s a team game and I know other brothers got to produce for you but sometimes you got to take matters into your own hands to avoid those broomsticks that’s all I’m saying that’s all I’m saying another Marquee match up out west featured the Suns and the and Kevin Durant taking on the Timberwolves and this brother Anthony Edwards Lord have mercy did you see the show he put on watching Anthony Edwards gave me flashbacks of MJ in game one of the 1992 NBA Finals you remember when Jordan was just a yeah yeah and then looked at Magic in the NBA finals against the P trible was like yo what you want me to do remember that Jordan lit up there he is look at these highlights right here look at that right look at this right another three right there look at look look at Jord bam look at oh yes now here now here it is this is what giving it to KD then talking to KD after he had dismissed the not of Bradley Bill or Deon Booker being a better two guard in the game than him that’s what we talking about here Anthony Edwards has become my favorite player he is box office box office the brother is coming I I I mean I’m sorry ladies and gentlemen I just love it when you talk [ __ ] and you back it up I I mean I love Tim Duncan but damn it he was too quiet Kobe smooth and came at you but didn’t give you the verbal assault that you needed just gave you facial expressions and looks Jordan would do the same thing but Anthony up big for Milwaukee as he did with the Bucks taking out the paces early Dame dollar Damien lilet 35 points in the first half look at what he pulling up for the parking lot see that’s kind of stuff right there I know we saw Caitlyn Clark doing in the NCAA tournament this the NBA level right here you see that brother right here look at me damn it you forgot who the hell I am Dame time Dame time Dame time now he would score Us in the second half 0 for five shooting after they double in triple team trapped him got the ball out of his hands got took five shots missed all five of them that’s not good don’t keep that up but that 35 points in the first half it was something spectacular no doubt about that bucks held on to win 10994 which is more than holding on that’s a 15-point gap I still think Indiana can win this series if if Milwaukee doesn’t have jannis Cent DMO but here’s what stood out in my mind outside of the explosiveness of Damen Lillet who I thought was going to drop 50 last night based on what I saw in the first half do you know that’s only the second game this year the Indiana Pacers have been held under 100 points in 82 games before the playoffs in 82 regular season games Milwaukee was held I’m sorry Indiana was held under 100 points once once I got to give credit where credit is due their defense stepped up and handled their business Pascal cakam the one dude with championship experience on Indiana’s roster did drop 36 but clearly it wasn’t enough because Damien Lillet was just putting on the show let’s see if it can continues and if Milwaukee continues to Devin Haney $500,000 and he came in three pounds overweight so as a result he had to cut that check for $1.5 million which he did Ryan Garcia said he didn’t give a damn why did he not give a damn because he said yo I’m here to win I don’t want to come in there draining myself feeling weak why because I had that happened to me against javante Davis and look where that got me well guess what he stepped into the ring and after all of this noise about how psychotic he must be he must not be have all his faculties in order we had Teddy Atlas come on the show and break down to us what level of he he did I’m a fan of Devin Haney I truly truly am but when I saw what Ryan Garcia did to him I said damn caught him with the left hook in the first round from there it was it was I was worried knocked him down three times I thought it was really five times and the reason why I said five cuz the referee was absolutely awful we’ll get into that win but he was absolutely awful I thought it was five knockdowns the two downs that he called slippage no Devin hania got hit and he was staggering and holding on and then went down to his knee cuz he was going to fall if he didn’t have Ryan Garcia’s body to hold him up that’s what I saw Ryan Garcia clearly stronger clearly with with a bigger punch clearly more powerful too strong for Devon Haney took advantage of the situation beat him and put himself on the map once again it’s one of the elite Fighters out there and as a result who knows what’s next for him it could be tiimo Lopez that’s a fight I would like to see it could be anybody we don’t know but what we do know is this all that talk that Devin Haney and Pops gave about being like Floyd Mayweather that never happened to Floyd Mayweather not one time let alone three times not that clear level of domination not the in ability to move away from punches not being able to avoid a straight right or numerous left hooks that’s what we saw happen to Devin Haney Saturday you were in attendance at the barlay center were your thoughts I was there it it went exactly how I thought it was going to go at first Ryan had me a little I don’t know like his his promoting tactics was different this time he lost his mind like he lost his mind yeah and then when he at the end of the fight he said y’all thought I was crazy I’m like yeah yeah you know I we thought you were you know but I thought like you know what for him to be going this crazy and they haven’t called the fight they haven’t said it’s they haven’t canceled it yeah he got to win yeah he then the world is too crazy for him not to win well my thing was is that he was he’s taller he’s bigger he’s clearly stronger no question Devon Haney even though he’s the 140 pound champ champion at the moment bottom line is you going up in a guy with a vicious left H vicious left hook no question about but he what threw me off about Deon Haney was he was saying well you know what you know he caught me by surprise he caught me by surprise and I’m like how the hell are you surpris in the first round yeah in the first round yeah you know caught me sleeping those were his words he caught me sleeping what the hell were you doing sleep why were you sleeping especially with a dad like that his father was I was scared his father was going to beat his ass after if if he got his ass beat by Ryan right did you now to be clear did you feel like he lost did you feel like he got his ass beat I feel like he got his ass beat yeah I did he hit the he hit the floor twice I mean three times by the way the other two times where they call it a slippage I said no he got hit he was holding on for dear life and then went on his knees to me those should have been knocked down yeah yeah but you know what what the first time he looked surprised he did actually look surprised the first time he hit the floor he he looked like oh I cannot believe this just happened and then it happened two more times and I think they should have called I think it it should have happened like that what they called it cuz the fight’s before theirs refers the refs were calling the fights before I thought they should have but I don’t know I’m not sure but I I knew that was going to happen on Ryan’s part I got you let’s talk about you for a second because you’re making noise obviously your popularity is elevated big time you’re getting a lot of love from a lot of people being a part of The Breakfast Club obviously a major part of that how is life for you these days I’m I’m hear is it J you’re expecting it is true I I’m expecting yes congratulations congratulations thank you so much how much are you looking looking forward to additional motherhood cuz I know you already have one kid yep yep 12 years old oh my God I have my little boy already I got my girl I at first I was like I always said I wanted a house full of boys and then the guys wasn’t guying over the years so I was like this I might be one and done but then Prince charma came along and then I I’m having my girl now and I’m actually at 32 years old wanting a girl cuz I’m so rough I’m a tom girl like I I I was in sports growing up I was never like the real like ballet dance team cheerleader type yeah but it it’s it’s good everything is working great with The Breakfast Club because it allows me Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the latest 11:00 a.m. to be sitting and and actually more calm it’s less stress on my body cuz I don’t have to travel as much and stuff like that um touring it slowed down just because I wanted to but at one point I had to tour you know but educate us all about you before you were before you started with The Breakfast Club what were you doing and how hectic your life and your schedule was I was traveling I was on a plane about three times a week um not seeing my son um a lot because he is back in Baltimore with his dad and my mom you know so he um he’s with his dad and my mom and and my between doing film and then my comedy tour I would constantly be on planes and and you think that’s what you want you think it’s fun right for like the first four years it is fun and then it’s like damn I I got to be doing this I have to do something else I got to not saying I don’t appreciate the art because my passion is stand-up comedy okay but I just wanted to not have to tour to make money all the time I wanted I wanted to actually have like be stationary for like once in eight damn years and when it happened I was just happy how it happened was crazy too cuz I ain’t think I had it I didn’t the the third host I didn’t think I had it um why didn’t you why didn’t you feel that way because they were guest hosting for a year and I was confident always confident in myself believed in myself and and right when Angela left the former host when she left and got her own show um God bless her I was like I hit Charlamagne the same day I saw that it went viral that she left and I was like y I want to do breakfast club and he was like oh yeah all right cool I told you you always had a voice of radio I wanted you I want you to do podcast and radio like that so we’ll be guest hosting for like months it wasn’t supposed to be a year and then when I seen other people that I was up against people who had backgrounds in journalism and stuff like that and people that could I guess they say read better I don’t really give a damn about you know read you know I read how I read you know people be mad because I be reading with my fingers so what you know but when I saw those people I was like you know what I don’t know I just a couple times I I was maybe doubting a little bit not doubting myself but just doubting the process cuz our heart was dragging their feet they took so long and then I I just I went ahead and made the announcement that I was the third host before I even finished the deal cuz I got a contract but they were still dragging their feet with the contract like I’m like yo like what what what is so hard like what are you missing what made you believe that you were better than the quote unquote competition for that third seat was that is there something that stood out in your mind that made you feel I know you I’m I’m I’m talking about outside of the obvious confidence you had in yourself My Views the views that I um re rebranding and remarketing what The Breakfast Club could be with me um I bring an a a different audience like and not no not discrediting um Breakfast Club cuz they’ve 14e run Hall of Fame show I love that um but just I’m I’m a I’m a breath of fresh air I’m youthful I’m well-rounded I’m open-minded I don’t know everything but I know a little bit about a lot and um I’m never I’m always curious I’m never afraid to say I don’t know what we talking about but you know what I mean I I know how to make things funny I know how to Pivot away from conversations and I know how to bring things up bring awareness up I don’t know it’s just the vibe and then the chemistry I have with the guys uh sh leag and DV uh DJ Envy I it’s just the chemistry is different I I make them laugh a lot they I used to I I’ve been watching the show for a long time and all of us have I’ve been a guest on this several times over the years I got a lot of love for those Brothers absolutely and I just bring a different Ora I bring a different energy to them and the audience you know when you when I watch I remember the one time I was on there La La Anthony was guest hosting the one time I was on there and obviously they had various other guest hosts as well and whatever it’s a lot of hard work it’s not easy a lot of people think it’s easy it’s not it’s not easy at all it’s hard as somebody that’s been in this business for so many years I know how hard it is and so I think about that and I’m wondering as you watch did you study them per se in terms of that third seat what it needed what it required looking at what others were bringing you or were you just one of those people that looked at yourself and said this is who I am this is what I bring to the table and it’s going to work I only ask that question cuz I think about a guy for example there are times when I’ve interviewed Floyd Money Mayweather before before fighting he like I ain’t stud no film I know what I do I know what I bring and that’s all where as you go with others and they sitting there watching films studying habits and all of that other stuff to really figure out how to capitalize off the mistakes of the people make what strategy did you employ it’s just me being myself that’s literally how I feel like I won that that position um over many I just I just I I never really was the type to fit in I always set the trend I set the like I am the formula you know what I’m saying that’s how I’ve always looked at myself so um yeah that I I just knew I knew I’m just going to go ahead be myself if that don’t get me then I ain’t going to be got if somebody is watching and listening to The Breakfast Club right now compared to what they saw let’s say a couple of years ago what are they getting realness um they’re getting like I said more chemistry I don’t agree with every single thing I’m not scared to disagree with those two guys I think you know what people may have seen in the past is just like it’s like and then I’m a woman I got to stand out and and not for obvious reasons cuz I’m a woman no you got to stand out you got to like have a voice and really stand on something that you know what I mean like just just and and I don’t try to disagree certain things sometimes you know charag will say something you be like what what but but I’m I’ve never been afraid to disagree with somebody but still back it up at the same time cuz sometimes I’ll make him think differently about something that he said right and then oh okay okay and then that causes for great discussion and then he’ll have we’ll have um engagement from viewers like oh I a and the listeners as well I didn’t think about it like that oh yeah I love the Dynamic that that uh that Jess brings to the show is different and you know so I just think that I’m a statement who do you find yourself agreeing with more DJ Envy or shag just myself because I swear yo Envy Envy don’t ever Envy don’t beef for nobody Envy don’t he’s just he like to play Devil’s Advocate but he for the most part Envy agree with everybody that’s just what it he fig out it is a skill though it is sometimes I do Marvel I said you know what what the hell did he actually say did he did he take a position did he really do that exactly you know shom you know he took a position DJ is like yo I see your side I see your side that’s how he is yeah Peacemaker he is the mediator he’s The Peacemaker I’m like no M no it is it and I’ll give you facts on why you need to think this way and um and then it’s not about really changing someone’s mind just giving them another perspective on whatever the topic at discussion is do you find yourself in a situation where sometimes like when you’re doing the show you’d rather talk to an artist as opposed to a politician as opposed to a pundit or whatever do you have a preference as to who you get to talk to when you’re doing that show or would you prefer that a vast majority of it is just y’all talking to each other what gives you the most fun what provides the most entertainment for you the most that I love about breakfast club is just us three the dynamic of with me and my brothers just DJ Envy and Charlamagne um I’m not really big on on interviewing I I’ve always said that I’ve told both of them that I told the boss that program director that I that ain’t my thing you know what I’m saying and especially when somebody come up there who and and I got to ask who it is and I got to do and and that’s a part of interviewing people you know you got to do your research you have to know things about these people you know you don’t want to just be thrown in the interviewing thing you just sitting there looking dumb um politics number one no I’ll be like no because I don’t want to just because I rather sit and listen to the interview to learn I’m still learning politics actually and just got into politics with me being a third host like I never really was into it and I never really paid attention that I didn’t really know what was going on until I got up there because they talk about politics every day with which they didn’t years ago on The Breakfast Club you know that’s what it’s kind of grown into now but since politics is is in everything politics is in Hip Hop it’s in it’s in every lane you know it’s just like I rather not because my thing is I don’t be knowing what to ask people and I’m and I tell them I’m never going to be made to look like a fool if I don’t know what I’m talking about if I don’t know nothing about why Republicans don’t really like that you know or why the Democrats don’t why Trump shouldn’t why I’m not going to talk about I’m not going to have no no no perspective on but do you know why I would suggest if I may that you got to get more involved in politics are you ready for this yes because it’s infiltrated comedy as a comedian you you literally have comedians now that are struggling because political correctness has taken over to such an extreme woke culture has taken over to such an extreme so many different things are taking place in our society that you you can’t just say stuff Frey the way you used to all of us you got I I think it’s contaminated and messed up the whole I mean comedians no one was safe no no one was off limits and I respected that it didn’t matter whether you were black white what your religion was who your ethnic it didn’t give they didn’t give a damn now they have to care about that that’s why I would say that you got to get more involved in that just to know what mind fields to avoid what do you think about that I do I agree with you that’s why I said now that I just just doing this for two two months I’ve only had my position almost three and see like politics is in everything yeah it really is and I just didn’t think about it it opened me up to that so I I will listen to the interviews but to be ready to be thrown in them no got you yeah Jess with the mess that’s a segment that you have on the show tell me about that where that came from how much you love doing that I started doing jet with the mess back when when Instagram was like 15 30 seconds video of videos that’s that’s actually how I blew up on social media I used to watch um it started I used to do the Love & Hip Hop back when it was Chrissy and Jim on there Love & Hip Hop New York and the very first Love & Hip Hop Atlanta with Joslyn Stevie J and all them and I used to watch the shows and then do just with the mess Recaps okay and then that that blew up and then I just started doing it on the latest in hip-hop pop culture and what’s going on with this celebrity and that celebrity and stuff like that and then people took a liking to it now the earli with the messes used to get me in trouble back in the day like real crazy how how and why I want because I ain’t never really care about you know pushing the envelope I never really cared about boundaries with it I would say what everybody was thinking you know and that was way before cancel culture or whatever um although I feel like nobody really could be cancelled um that was way before then and and that’s how I built my my platform like a lot of fans just like me thinking the same way I’m saying what I’m like the voice of them I’m the voice in their mind and then I’ve I’ve evolved it here evolved it there I never really put it down it’s been a couple times I was like man I ain’t going to do this no more but right I’m like no you know what this is what this is what I built just hilarious on it’s yours and it’s mine and so that’s what it’s formed into now is just you know basically commentary on trademark copyright that oh it is AB they could try to get it going get it make sure make sure it’s yours don’t let nobody else get it what’s the messiest thing you’ve touched on Jesus this year this year just this year just this year since you just started with The Breakfast Club what’s the messiest thing you touched on this year you know what I I can’t I can’t even say what the messy thing what the messiest thing is that’s for everybody else to say cuz everything I say is messy that’s what they that’s what they equate me to um just Justus as messy Justice messy but y’all be sticking around looking for it damn right you know what I’m saying that’s that’s that’s that’s why I said you can never be cancelled because when you’re cancelled they talk about you even more so you still win you know what I mean so Charlamagne with charl they got well that’s a that’s a different kind of mess that’s a that’s a different kind of mess than the kind of mess you I know that’s right so it’s messy from I mean mess from two different two different you know stratospheres I mean that’s not a bad thing that’s not a bad it’s not um no I my my goal is to not be messy my goal is not to be messy at all it’s just the things that I talk about I consider it mess because it’s already a messy topic now if you put your J spin on it I’m just just giving a spin on it and commenting on it then that it’s is just still messy so it’s just just with the mess but let’s gauge how messy some of this stuff is okay did you see this stuff about DC Young Fly I did and about talking about yeah he [ __ ] what were your thoughts about that when he s down when he sat down with Cam Newton and was talking about how you know basically he’s uh it it triggers a lot of memories that you know CU he lost he lost somebody that that had one of those surgeries what were your thoughts about that um I just I feel like I feel like he’s doing the best that he can with the kids you know what I mean since he lost Jackie you know God Rest our soul but I mean for it to be a yeah for it to be a trigger I mean this is what we’ve been seeing for what 10 we going on 10 years now of just constant bbls like now like that’s that that be like Girls nicknames like you know little BBL like you know just that’s just I don’t know I mean it maybe it is a trigger for him you know what I mean I I what I also did see online is that a lot of people feeling like he um he may feel guilty about like what he had previously said to you know things that he would previously harp on her about which if you know DC you know their relationship um was just on her fans right you know so I mean I don’t even know how they got on that topic I I have I’m trying to figure how the hell did they get on that topic I was wondering about that how the hell that you’re on a breakfast club in the morning you’re looking at Shaman you’re looking at DJ Lord knows what they going to do they might say they agree with I don’t know okay but what do you say knowing the ladies out there looking for you to be that dissenting voice for something like that but that’s where the problem coming that cuz if you ain’t got to deal with his ass then what you woring about it for that’s the thing like I and and then what I love when they pulled up on and he asked him about it he was like I don’t recommend this to anybody I’m doing what I’m doing it works for me it works for them too so obviously I mean it if if they’re happy with it and he ain’t bothering nobody and if you know then whatever I could it be me hell no I would never I would what I would never because just just just just to provide the explanation why because I would never want to be shared and I want and I don’t want to share a man like once you mind you mind and that’s sitting if I find out you trying to be somebody else’s you what you going to do though what you going to do though listen that’s going to get messy I mean I’m just asking I’m you you talking to a man raised by four or five women four on the sisters so I I mean there’s there’s a lot of inventive ways that you can come up with to make a man pay for such a thing what are you trying to say what would you do L just say I came a long long way and I’m saved now and any anytime I can go back there but no please don’t make Chris don’t make me do that and I’m talking to my man when I say Chris do not make me go to jail me situations that they’re going through whether it be relationships uh friends friendships um stuff that’s going on at work how they can co-parent better um and then I I just give them advice honestly I’m no expert but I’ve been around a lot I’ve experienced a lot and honestly when I don’t know what to tell you I tell people look I don’t know but that’s that’s less likely the case cuz I I really do give good advice on the spot all the time I think I do too as long as it ain’t about myself long as it not about myself I’m good but but but I mean I I can I can give anybody else advice but if you ask me for advice about me I I I’m I’m a lost C it’s always like that you all you can give everybody else advice but when it come to something that you got to do for yourself no it’s hard how much if at all I want to make sure because I don’t know whether this is true or not but how much if it all is a person like is of an inspiration is a person like Wendy Williams because of her past in the business and the success that she wants enjoy yeah for somebody in your position do you defer or refer to those experiences or to see her experiences and say excuse me to succeed in this business that’s something worth emulating in any way um well when I think of Wendy Williams she’s somebody that I grew up watching and and grew up listening to um although I do love her and I love her style and it there will never be another Wendy Williams I love her courage her bravery and how she wasn’t scared to say anything or anything you know to anybody about anybody I wouldn’t that’s not what I want to be like um I I don’t discredit her in any right she’s what she’s done for herself is great but that ain’t that’s not how just with the mess is the mess that’s not that’s exact that’s not what I want to do in your perfect world your perfect world last question just with the mess or anything else what do you want to be I mean like you said you’re 32 right yeah excuse me you ain’t 52 62 72 you got a whole life ahead of you what you want to do man it’s it’s and that’s the thing it’s Limitless I don’t want to just do one thing I actually I want to be an author I want to be a director um I that and then go to sleep at night like like you know what I’m saying cuz cuz you can one day be that person you know what I’m saying and that you talking about or that you you know for clicks and Views and likes and all of that and it ain’t really worth all of that you know cuz you never know what somebody’s going through you never know what they doing like why they’re doing what they’re doing or or somebody just could have been having a bad day or caught up in a situation and we building a whole topic around them so I I it’s a lot of things I want to do but that no I forgot to ask you this I apologize considering what you know about hip-hop and the hip-hop industry and whatever we know what what’s been going on with b Diddy yeah and now we got Shan rapper Shan that come out and and basically was saying that he was Puffy’s Fall Guy former bad boy rapper saying he was puffy Fall Guy and what have you you know based on the shooting from many many years ago yeah I don’t know listen that’s his word you know that’s the past we don’t know what are you thinking about when you think about p p didy right now at this stage in point can his career recover from all of this like you said you don’t believe in cancer culture but it’s a lot of stuff that’s been thrown at him over the last few weeks yeah no I don’t think his career can recover no you don’t think so no no you think that so in other words something can be cancelled oh yeah yeah especially when it involves law and it involves the law it’s not just about social media it’s about homel securitying your home Miami and yeah you know your family your kids like it it involves way too much and then it goes back so many years and so you know I so many accusations yeah so many accusations so many people coming forward and you
