speed Irish eyes were smiling on Bourbon Street this week as Rory maoy and Shane Lowry captured the team tournament at the Zurich Classic we’re going to recap that talk about a lot more including this upcoming PGA Tour event the CJ cup Byron Nelson will touch on the live and we touch on the DP World Tour coming up next on EMQ bets [Music] he [Music] welcome to EMQ bets golf we’re back for another week of actionpack golf discussion and picks wow um I’m here with BAC and Jimmy metrics I’m CJ and we’re let’s get right into it let’s get right into it we got a whole mess of golf to discuss we got three tours going on we’ve got a uh very watered downfield here at the CJ cup but it’s going to be uh it’s going to be fun actually because we can you know we can maybe go off the uh the road map that we usually are on on and uh but first let’s start with a little recap of the Zurich Classic in New Orleans the team tournament that saw Roy mroy and Shane Lowry returned to the winners Podium for the first time in a while for both um very dramatic finish very action-packed Sunday uh it looked pretty touch and go for a while but um I gave out Rory and Shane on the show last week I cashed that for 14 units really happy that Brendan had a little side bet he made uh he cashed a nice bet too um it it looked not not promising at all on Sunday uh we had Rory and low four back in after coming off two bogeys early in the round they kind of wred the ship they get to the 16th hole a huge birdie to tie the lead the lead had been established over three hours earlier by Chad Ry and Martin trainer um they got in the club with a 63 which is wildly impressive in alternate shot format uh so they were just sitting there in the clubhouse with the lead for hours and then the bogey on 17 it looked like we were all done you had the other team at minus 25 coming down on 17 and then you had the group brem and hubard playing with Rory also tied it looked like we were all cooked up weren’t going to win our bet suddenly we get a double bogey from Fishburn and Blair we get Breman hubard can’t capitalize on the 18th green mroy hits an incredibly clutch chip to to set up a Lowry short birdie putt to send it to a playoff and then we got to see Martin trainer and Chad remeny play maybe the most comical playoff hole I’ve ever seen in my life uh Brandon I know you were watching it too break break down the end of the tournament for us and give me your thoughts about tournament General Rory and Shane so we’ll start with the the end we’ll start with the playoff you said us up for it so we’ll talk about that one playoff hole and then I want to go backwards because I got a couple things about the tournament I want to talk about couple groups I want to talk about the playoff hole um objectively uh trainer and Remy hit the five worst golf shots I’ve ever like each shot was terrible yeah the drive the drive he Yanks left up into the rough luckily it stops 2 in short of the bunker and gets like this beautiful lie that they’re like doy how’s this lie and D’s like it’s the greatest lie of all time he’s got the best lie you’ve ever seen other than that I mean it was a horrific horrific drive um then Ry goes Yanks that into the stands be like to the left of the green awful awful shot um but he gets relief they get relief because it’s so far into the stands it’s on the cart path so they get a bunch of relief sets up the relief okay we got train trainer coming back up trainer chunks the chip halfway to the green not to mention they took five minutes to hit the shot oh he walked it off he walked it off like an absolute jackass um then he he chunks it halfway absolutely incredible um then rayy comes hits I guess like a a r a an okay chip from there that puts him to six feet for for both for par for Fe for par um back to the other group uh Rory hits not his best drive way short of his previous drive on 18 um but it’s in the middle of the Fairway uh Lowry hits his hits his iron perect it’s a hybrid he hit a Hybrid yeah he starts walking like he just like he just put it to two feet it’s in the bunker um Rory hits a pretty solid bunker shot to what like 14 feet for Lowry it wasn’t his best but it got up on the right level so it set put low at like 14 feet for a winning putt uh low misses that um which gives uh miraculous what miraculously gives them a chance to tie yeah it gives trainer the six-footer for par to somehow tie this hole that they’ve played objectively horrific um professional golf is wild that you can play that bad and still like you have a putt to tie people who played good um and I just said the previous three uh the previous three out of four shots were the worst shots ever the putt was the worst one one of the worst putts ever hit one of the least competitive putts I’ve ever seen a professional golfer hit it wasn’t even close a six- foot putt to extend it he didn’t even T it didn’t even kind of touch the cup it wasn’t even close it missed two feet to the right and trainer is a great putter yeah it it was it it just it goes to show that uh 3H hour waight it is just it’s never going to benefit a golfer especially when you’re playing an alternate shop format there’s it’s really hard to get back into Rhythm and uh yeah we saw Rory M Rory maoy and Shane Lowry take the title um they were over they were you know they clearly were relieved and really happy um you could see like kind of relaxed Joy on their faces it been a while since things had really gone well for them um on a Sunday so it was nice to see them win you know lifelong buddies uh they’ve won a a team tournament in Ireland as amateurs together playing on the same team they won the Ryder Cup together last year now they win this together very cool kind of Full Circle career for them playing together um Jim did you get did you get to watch any of the tournament did you have any takeaways you wanted to add I didn’t really get to uh I listened to a little bit on the radio sounded like a fun event I wish I had gotten to watch more of it um definitely going to put on the calter for next year because they only have the one each year like this but uh no I didn’t get to watch any of it unfortunately the the cool the the cool Dynamic of it before we go back and talk about what brenon wants to talk about the really cool Dynamic of it is the best ball the best ball rounds you really got to go low and then the alternate shots you just got to survive and pick your pick your moments and put together a few birdies and after I saw m Roy and Lowry bogey one and bogey 3 on Sunday I said okay this is all this is all done but they just grinded away for the last 15 holes and manage to somehow get it done in the playoff Brendon so what do you you want to go back and discuss some stuff so do I so why don’t you go ahead and us off there I got a few things to discuss one um we kind of came into the week like ah off week not that fun this tournament’s fun as hell love this tournament I’m now really excited to watch it again next year I never watched it before this year I agree with you never fully committed to watching it like I I really enjoyed it this weekend really fun tournament um I just everything about it was really fun uh it’s funny that I in way Rory and Lowry really needed this for their like mentals um like they kind of just needed to see like you need to see the ball go through the hoop type thing yeah um they needed that but of the people who could have won everyone else really needed it like they didn’t need it everyone else needed it yeah it gets them into signature life changing for for brem and hub for Blair and Fishburn it’s like a lifechanging win if one of them win it um my main takeaway uh even for trainer too really yeah my my main takeaway is there were two groups that it’s wild didn’t win this tournament um uh brem and hubard and Blair and Fishburn could have just walked away with the tournament yeah like play normal at the in the back nine they win yeah it I was let me let me just cut you off it’s like we we watch a normal tournament where guys are playing by themselves and we say these lesser players tend to fold under the big pressure on Sunday maybe that Dynamic would be different at Team tournament not at all but the the inexperienced groups with you know mediocre by PGA Tour standard golfers still you still saw the pressure get to them you still saw them fold in big pressure moments but continue yeah I think I think the alternating shot actually makes you feel the pressure even more because you have the pressure of like living up like not letting your partner down too um um and not having like there’s something about you didn’t play the whole hole you didn’t have the feel of the previous shot you don’t get like a rhythm go like I I think there’s a lot to that um we also saw I mean Zack Blair was horrific Zack Blair like Fishburn just absolutely carried that man on his on his back it’s unbelievable like Blair was so bad it was it’s unreal they yes he he clearly I mean so nervous we’re talking about the Finish because the Finish is what matters um brem kind of kind of stunk also but hubard should have made some putts it’s just those guys you double bogey a par three when if you’re just par you’re gonna win the tournament yeah you literally win the tournament if you just par that hole uh and Breman hubard they’re in Pride position to go into the playoff as well and just hit a brutal chip up the hill um hubard Camp sink the Pu hit a great putt actually it just didn’t go in and um Ramy and trainer kind of just played totally lights out the funny part is we didn’t really see much of them because they literally were one of the first groups out they just shot minus minus uh eight orus alternate shot they shot 63 yeah that tied the course record for the alternate shot in that tournament uh matching shafley and Klay last year actually so yeah 63 it looks like that’s a best ball score it’s a Wild score Wild score for alternate shot um but yeah clearly the rust of sitting for three hours and and waiting to see if they were going to win or be in a playoff gut to them and uh yeah if they just played hit one or two good shots in the final hole instead of zero they are in Prime position to go on to that next playoff all or even win the tournament but alas they didn’t um yeah so do you think this is a springboard for Rory mroy uh basically because we saw him basically carry Shane Lowry almost the entire week Lowry did some good things for sure but maoy uh Lowry was responsible for all three bogeys on on uh in the round on Sunday definitely if you watched it I mean mroy was bailing him out um so did Rory fix some of his issues is this Cal gonna calm Rory down is this going to give him back into the head space that he belongs in or or what are your takeaways or is this just a blip on the radar I I honestly think yes um I think like this event and the partnership with Shane Lowry and sort of like Lowry not playing quite his best Rory’s just see like I think Lowry’s overall demeanor and like the team El Rory just seemed to relax um it’s like he like you saw his shoulders come down like the tenseness come out of his shoulders yeah he just seemed to relax and have fun playing golf and I don’t think we’ve seen him do that in a long time um and all of the clutch moments the clutch shots he needed he made them um that chip that chip on 18 was so hard it was impressive how it was awesome yeah I I genuinely think this is going to springboard him into into like back to himself a bit back to top 10 the top 10 guy in contention y you know like I said I didn’t get to watch much of it but I did hear Rory’s uh post round interview on Thursday and he sounded the most relaxed I’ve heard him sound all year usually he’s uptight overthinking everything and maybe that’s what he had to do was just get out of his own head you know so that could be a good thing going forward for yeah and it was great seeing them celebrate they they good buddies they were having so much fun low was hilarious uh a little self-deprecating B said said that Rory carried him through the weekend um he said he felt guilty accepting the FedEx Cup points but I I like he said but they’re mine they’re mine I ain’t giving them back yeah then they saying Don’t Stop Believing low yeah I saw that too that was pretty cool Lowry Lowry is awesome he’s one of my favorite guys on the tour um also top tier beard I sent you guys a an old picture of mroy and Lowry when they were in the Irish amateur together they look so ridiculous they look young and rid Larry has no beard it’s it’s unbelievable it’s uh um but yeah that was melroy’s I I know it’s a team event it’s kind of weird they both get an individual career victory for it but they do M’s 25th career PGA Tour Victory puts him into some seriously good company there isn’t a name on that list that you really haven’t heard of the guy who hasn’t made a big impact in golf so uh and now he is the active between guys that are technically on the PGA tour he’s now second active behind only Tiger Woods Phil Mickelson Dustin Johnson not technically active PGA toour golfers so um pretty cool stuff low shocking to me it was his first Wi on the PG tour since the British Open uh I had no idea it been that long since he’d won on the PG tour he has some he has some European DP tour wins in between but uh so I’m sure he’s happy to get back in the mix they each got like1 and a half million dollars for the win so we can go ahead and get rid of those Scotty’s Scotty’s caty memes against Rory finally thank God so but HT yeah you know I’m big Rory guy you know I get it um but yeah so any other takeaways from this tournament any other guys that you’re surprised maybe didn’t do so well like seah and will zorus not making the cut I thought that was pretty shocking two guys of that level couldn’t get to minus eight uh to make the cut um anything guys um yeah some I mean I I was proud of my higo fox bet uh they end up tied for fourth um if you I mean they just had a really bad Friday and all shot or their their winning this tournament I mean they went 63 72 65 65 yeah they they played fantastic so I was I’m I’m happy with that bet um Jims Connor and pendrith bet was actually really good too they just didn’t play well on Sunday but uh but yeah they were right in the mix as well so yeah we had a we had a good we talked about like we talked about Bobby Mack and D Tree making a push they played really good um and uh I mean dri has mental breakdowns out there all the time the fitzpatricks um who Jim like uh respect they just like they just played consistently pretty good I mean they end up coming in t t11 um respectable uh classic Fitzpatrick performance I feel like in general uh I just think it’s funny we saw Xander and Klay at plus 400 to win this thing we said and they come in what like 15th they they yeah no thanks yeah it was silly oh no 23rd they come in 23rd just you know yeah you know I will say this is officially the end of my hoard era I’m done yeah they dump it’s over I’m done with them I’m happy to hear that really I’m quite happy to hear that they uh yeah it’s freeing really they shot minus four in two rounds and got cut a joke it’s it’s pretty embarrassing at this point but uh it is what it is um yeah so just a quick little Pat on my own back here I’ve hit a nice little Groove I’ve got nine of the last 10 tournaments I’ve cashed at least one one wager of given on here including a couple wins Jim you’ve gone a little cold since your Scotty binge but you’re going to be back on top before you know it and brandan you’re just consistently cashing units here and there down down the line so so pretty the show is doing the show’s doing well we’ve also hit a bunch of bets that we haven’t given out in the show because you know sometimes you got to make a live bet sometimes you got to hedge something so um I think we’re having a a fairly successful time we’re just you know just a couple misses but I’m feeling really good about I I honestly feel I feel hot I really do I feel like I’m I’m I’m hitting um I’ve I’ve won a bunch I’ve like this tournament you had the you had the winner in your actual giveout picks but I did bet it with you um so I win that one I I’ve had a bunch of wins lately I’ve had a bunch of my longer shot bets be right there uh so I’m feeling it yeah we also did the Live this week all three of us gave out a pick on the show um Jim had Patrick Reed I had cam Smith Brennan had John ROM they were all right there on on Sunday or whatever the hell you call it in on the live um on in the final round RW made the biggest push he almost got there but somehow Brendan steel who uh I don’t know is that a Fallout character the Brotherhood of Steel or something uh he he comes out with win feel like he hasn’t been relevant in golf in a long time but I guess he’s been finishing 30th on the live for the last couple years I don’t know but he came out with the win we also had I had a great run at the the DP World Tour in Japan ke Nakajima one stroke back going into Sunday absolutely pooped his little pants on Sunday though and was not in contention uh but the tournament Was Won by a HomeTown hero uto can’t remember his last name but uh Japanese fow won his home tournament he’s literally grew up up like five minutes down the road from the course really cool story actually but um yeah and I think you gave out Soderberg on the show I think he finished second I’m not sure came in second I didn’t give him out on the show I did bet him okay okay um no my pick on the show was um Simon yes s right so yeah that’s your recap from last week’s World of Golf um we now are going to transition to this can we either I would like to do a uh discussion of the live uh Adelaide oh you want to do it now or you want to do it after yeah why don’t you you go ahead you you make it’s your seg we do when we’re gonna BET live let’s let’s go to the Byron Nelson we’ll do it when we’re gonna BET live okay okay yeah we’re gonna BET live at the end of the bio announcement so live Singapore this week uh back back weeks correct we are going to yeah it’s I think it’s the first time Liv has ever done backtack weeks I think they might do this one because the where it’s located like they next to Singapore yeah I get what you’re saying it makes sense um but yeah I was kind of shocked when I looked at the schedule and or when not when I looked when you told me the Liv is happening again I was like oh back toback weeks interesting um but yeah we’re here this week on the PGA tour at the it’s called the CJ cup Byron Nelson Classic um this this is complicated the Byron Nelson Has existed for a long time back to the 50s various courses in Texas for for decades and decades the CJ cup is a newer thing that has bounced around from American courses in California Las Vegas Korea for a bunch of years CJ is a CJ is a Korean company or something and then finally these two tournaments merged three years ago they’ve played at TPC Craig Ranch in mcken Texas for the last three years so there’s some consistency finally we have a couple things to draw on and terms of course history but yeah these used to be two separate tournaments now they’re just one tournament shoved together um cool thing about this week this is the direct midpoint of the PGA Tour season in terms of the FedEx Cup playoffs um it may not seem like it that we’ve done right but but really the FedEx Cup playoffs is like 30 events Jim and like then there’s a bunch of stuff before and after so technically they’re calling this the midpoint of the season and I don’t really buy it there’s only been one major it’s not the midpoint until there’s two majors I’m just telling you I’m just telling you that’s what the that’s what the thing said hear what you’re saying we reject it continue it’s it’s April yeah yeah um so no it’s not to be May it’s about to be may but yeah there’s been one major dude I didn’t write the article that said that you didn’t have to cite it either that’s fair but I knew it would elicit this response I thought it’d be good for the show I’m glad we’re here hi um the the place where they’re playing TPC Craig Ranch it’s a really is that a weird name like it’s very strange yeah it makes me think of I don’t know like is it a guy who invented a dip or is it did he have a a a plot of land where he kept cattle I I think it’s just a very easy golf course yeah it is that mcken Texas baby great transition Jim it’s is average 68.9 per round per player last season second easiest course on two tour the scrambling was also the second best on tour here so up and downs are easy for these Pros here um 7400 yard par 71 the 12th hole was changed to a par 4 last year used to be a par five so it’s now a par 71 instead of 72 bent grass greens moderate rough moderate green size wide wide Fairways like I said second easiest course on tour but one factor this week I usually go to gym for the weather do you have the weather prepared I’ll let you do it but if you don’t I got it no you got it I think it’s supposed to be nice I don’t know what the wind’s supposed to be though uh no it could be very windy and thunderstorms are expected each day there’s a prediction of a thunderstorm at some point so I’m I’m predicting right now on the show we’re gonna get a Monday finish here no we can’t keep doing this very frustrating yeah I I’m just pretty certain we’re gonna get a Monday finish based on the forecast uh no let’s start tomorrow go ahead and Google mckin Texas weather you’ll see it says thunderstorm all four days yeah he’s okay okay um yeah so this is the fourth playing of this of this tournament on this course KH Lee won in 2021 and 2022 the fields were diluted though which no one really discusses they were smaller Fields no I mean like I don’t mean like diluted I got you I’m just saying this is pretty smaller fields and half the fields were Korean players because it’s sponsored by a Korean company but now that it’s merged with the Byron Nelson you get a full field 155 players this week Jason day won last year with the same kind of format um all right guys there’s our there’s our intro to the course um I think it’s unless you guys have something to say I think it’s time we pull up the numbers start talking about some players uh briefly just we’ve talked about the course let’s talk about what that what we think that means right um I I think it means bomb the drive and make putts uh for the most part um you get a little room to to miss with the drive a little bit um easier getting up and down around the green this is about getting birdies this is who the birdie guys are birdie birdie birdie birdie Fest is what you need uh people are gonna have to go real low to win so in my mind I’m going with guys I think can shoot real low uh I think proximity to the hole is also really important too because you take a lot of angles to it you can you can but yeah I think Jim S I think Jim summed it up on our group chat earlier really is about the putting it’s a birdie B that’s all I focused on everyone’s going to be on the green no problem going to Bear their putts yeah yeah I I I think I mean it’s golf putting matters I think it matters a little more here today but um we’ll get into it maybe we have some different twists on on how we’re doing our picks this week but uh yeah why don’t why don’t we bring up the uh the old sports book all right let’s look at the uh the lines here let me get rid of that ball in front of your face uh here we have it um incredibly um Jordan spe the favorite to win the tournament uh okay uh 1,400 absolutely Preposterous odds for Jordan spe to win a golf tournament thank you at this point at this point in his current current struggles yeah it’s absurd he’s the favorite just looking at you know the top group you got sewu Kim uh who’s definitely flushing the ball lately um playing good ball plus 1600 uh I mean once we get to the third guy we’re already in the in the 20 to1 area Jason day last year’s winner at 20 to1 Alex noren uh who likes to come in the top 20 but I don’t think ever even sniffs winning uh plus 2200 uh Adam Scott plus 2200 Tom hogi uh local Tom hogi um also absolutely flushing the ball this year uh plus 2500 Stephen joerger with the already the win in Texas this year plus 25 and we can keep going here’s how you know here’s how you know we got a diluted field here we’ve got Jason d and Adam Scott as the third and the fifth favorite in this tournament I mean it’s I get that day one last year but he’s not particularly playing great right now Adam Scott is you know 58 years old and cheats when he putts so I I I just can’t believe he’s uh yeah it’s a wild wild though and yeah brenon failed to mention it will zot torus who probably would have been the favorite I think he was in the top three no his odds uh his odds were plus 2,000 yeah and he withdrew right he withdrew today yeah he withdrew with through today is it cuz is back or just because he wants the week off no I think he just wants the week off okay well that’s he’s a tough course guy anyway though yeah this I was not going with Willie Z in this one um but it did bring a lot of guys odds down which kind of stunk but yeah yeah I get that but um yeah I wasn’t going with him either so I’m not I’m not too concerned about it but like Jim said he’s a tough course guy because he’s not like a premier putter uh he’s uh like long irons and all that I these like super birdie courses are not well suited to him I agree because his number one struggling this his number one struggle is putting so um well he started the year off putting well but now he’s been stinky stinky the last few rounds he has he’s uh he’s regressed a bit back to his his when you’re betting willly Z you’re looking for a tournament where the Winner’s like minus 11 minus 12 not minus 28 yeah or a major tournament where the Winner’s minus six and he’s but that’s what I mean in that in that lower range all right Jim Jim why don’t you start off the discussion give me your thoughts on Jordan Speed this week and in general yeah I mean I I don’t trust Jordan spe to win a golf tournament he’s all over the place he’s erratic um I won’t be touching him at plus4 1400 I probably wouldn’t touch him at plus 2,800 uh I don’t like the guy’s game right now he has to show me he can win a tournament or at least compete to win a tournament before I even think about taking him yeah I fully Echo that um his course history here is good but I think I’m I’m I’m you know I’ve been on it for about a month now I’m throwing all that out because I just he’s just not playing he’s not play totally different guy last year than you were this year you know he’s not being smart everyone The Narrative on him is incredible short game incredible putting he’s really down this year on it he he’s not doing his thing his his iron play has always been kind of erratic in his career and it’s just not helping when he’s not getting up and down as frequently this year and not making the putts and Bren is he still awful off the tea or is he let’s he’s actually like in the last month been okay off the te he’s been horrible putting yeah his putting’s been terrible he’s also been kind of bad around the green a lot of people think he has an injury um they think is he has a wrist injury um so there’s that something’s wrong with him his putting is so bad his short putting is horrible he does have a wrist injury that he confirmed it recently because he was tired of people talking about it yeah so I’m shocked to see that he’s 11th on tour in Strokes gained shocked he he will he will come out here and get a ton of birdies he’s gonna get a ton of birdies he’s 14 in putting I mean wow I would I wouldn’t have assumed that he’s such a good lag putter um it’s the I just don’t trust him with like a six-footer yeah no yeah he’s he’s really he’s up in his head he’s he’s in mroy territory up in his head except he’s playing even worse than Rory has been so uh yeah I’m not trusting him I would need like plus 4,000 and then I’d be happy to place a little bet on him right now yeah I mean the guy hasn’t won a tournament in like how long it’s been forever yeah years yeah yeah like Jim said he hasn’t been the same since he’s missigned his scorecard at the Genesis yeah plus 1400s trash that’s a ridiculous line for Jordan speed right now yeah totally agree um all right I’ll I’ll I’ll ease us into this I am going with the second favorite though I’m going with SEIU Kim um I love the way he’s been playing he is really consistent right now he hasn’t missed a cut this season and he’s been getting himself you know we haven’t really seen him in like contention with five holes to play on Sunday this year but he you know he consistently is finishing in the top 20s the top 10 I think he has a couple he’s just right there playing solid golf this field is so deluded he is actually one of the best players here uh he’s Korean a Korean sponsorship thing you know all I I like I think it extra motivation for to play well um I’m going toim this week I feel decent about it too I’m going to put two on it I feel I feel pretty confident he’s going to play well and have a chance on Sunday so I I’ll go with seiw for two to kick us off here yeah I mean I like his game a lot he’s been playing pretty solid all year he just cannot putt which really worries me yeah he’s struggling with with that part of his game I noticed but it has improved it’s on it’s getting on a better track and I don’t mind a guy who hasn’t missed a cut this year and you know should be relatively competitive like he has yeah I mean in a soft field I don’t mind that at all yeah but the the putting did concern me too I just I don’t know I have this weird little feeling about him this week so we’ll see how it goes uh which one of you would like to take the Baton next go ahead BR no that’s why I should just host and choose okay Jim let’s I will I’ll go yeah um I am going with Adam Scott at plus 2200 okay wow like I said I don’t care what anybody’s numbers are this week except for their putting that’s just the hill I’m going to die on this week and Adam Scott sh Ken putt um that was all I needed to see where I’m struggling to find his numbers hold please he’s 16th right now on tour and putting uh 29 29th in one part percentage so that’s my guy this week I like him he knows how to win golf tournaments all right I mean I just like I I’m not going to hate on the pick because he is he does become one of the better players here with without the top 20 players in the world at this tournament so um I just personally you know always kind of had an issue with Adam Scott but that’s shouldn’t have anything to do with betting picks I mean he he’s played Seven events he’s made six cuts and he has five top 25s so I mean the guy’s been in tournaments yeah oh yeah it’s Adam Scott I mean he’s got the best golf swing you’ve ever seen um yeah give me uh if I could bet Adam got to come in exactly Ninth Place uh that would be that would be my bet on this one um quick note on seiw Kim uh 11 starts 11 11 Cuts made he hasn’t finished worse than t44 the entire season I thought that was rather impressive Brandon your first pick so um all of my picks are going to be pretty long ODS um so prepare yourselves okay uh I do like some people up here um but I like some people further down just as much so I’m gonna go with them uh I will start it off at plus 6,000 uh oh plus 5,500 now Sheamus power I’m taking Sheamus power he has really like seemingly found his game again the last month uh he’s been right in the mix in a bunch of tournaments uh really playing just overall Great Golf he was hurt before uh Sheamus power is a great golfer um kind of had a big fall off kind of had lost his game a bit I think he’s really coming on um he looked great uh in South Carolina um the week after the Masters I think maybe something like that uh he was doing everything right I think Sheamus power these odds are fantastic for him I think he’s he’s coming up on everyone here real quick don’t forget he finished second he was in second going into Sunday um at the cognizant I believe yeah noar the last month he’s found his game um I really I really like Sheamus power here so that’s my first bet uh at plus 5,500 yeah he had a rough Sunday at the bbar though shooting a 76 yeah it wasn’t his best but he did he was in second coming in and he has played much better golf I actually really like this pick he was definitely on my mind in terms of a guy to put money on but I I decided not to yeah I mean I can’t support it with his stat um but I wish you luck I I think they’re just kind of I think are going to be wildly misleading because it’s going to include the whole year if you look at his stats for the last four weeks um or five weeks it’s gonna be a lot different for sure yeah yeah okay um leads me to my next pick I’m the opposite of Brendan this week I there’s plenty of long shots I like guys I’m putting a little bit of side money on you know outside of this show who have longer odds but for the purpose of the show I’m giving out guys Jim Jimmy leaves Jim’s gone um Jimmy exits all right yeah so uh give it to me what do you got we can talk about it okay okay I’m going with Tom hogi at plus 25 ah I I I knew one of you was gonna yeah I just I like that he’s from here I like that he’s comfortable playing here I like how consistent he is at golf let’s get Jim back in here um did you hit the back button by mistake yes yeah I’ve done it many times um yeah so I just picked Tom hogi Jim I just I I like what he’s doing this year um playing really good ball yeah all the stats Point Tom hogy um y definitely I as far as like every article I’ve opened everyone’s picking Tom hogi um which made me shy away from it but and local T TCU all that uh um he’s playing fantastic he’s kind of like sneaky like mini Scotty Sheffer in terms of his stats like I mean his his approach in his proximity approach yeah I just think he’s GNA be another guy in the mix and I and I like having guys in the mix so y um yeah I’m going hogy just for one unit at plus 2500 yeah I like that we’ll get to it later on but in my uh my dial it up I have him and a T5 parlay okay and in my placement bets I have I have a Tom hogy we’ll get okay well we’ll get to some Tom looks like I got some hogy support going on that’s always support always nice to hear my fear of the the hogy is the the ability to to get enough like act like to win a tournament where you got to shoot like minus 29 or something but but yeah well that same logic really scared me on a lot of guys this week because I think a lot of guys are gonna play really well so I liked my placement picks but I’m scared about the win yeah yeah Hog’s only got one career win in 2022 too so yeah there’s yeah know always there’s always concern but I mean most of these guys here other than Jordan Speak don’t have a great deal of yeah of course yeah I’m not we’re not doing everyone’s got flaws in this field right like this is there’s everyone’s got flaws we’re going for for winners here but uh the favorite might be the worst golfer in the field yeah uh Jim go go ahead and uh hit us with your second guy yeah so I told you I was going based on who the best Putters were the best putter on tour is Taylor Mont um so I’m taking him at plus 5,000 um pull up his results here I don’t think he’s really he’s got a t11 a t13 this year he’s had a rough last few weeks but uh this is a good bounceback tournament for him easy course to play Brendan you’re having trouble finding Mr Montgomery yeah I don’t see him well he’s probably down more excuse me um plus 11,000 oh okay yeah there you go sorry yeah we give me the number one putter golf right now at plus 11,000 I’ll take that don’t hate it hard to argue with that I like the I like the the picking a picking a category and just attacking it y yeah yeah there’s I got no problem with that at all uh I’ve watched him play a little bit he’s seems to be pretty solid he’s pretty young guy too I think so he is Zack no it’s your third it’s your second pick oh my second pick I didn’t give my second pick okay um that’s right that’s right all right my second pick is where’d he go oh there he is uh Jake knap I’m doing Jake knp plus 8,000 um this course screams Jake knp to me uh similar field to the field he won in um kind of similar course to the course he won on you can bomb it and then make some putts and your your short wedge game around the green doesn’t need to be that great this feels like a good Jake knap opportunity this feels like the kind of tournament where the field is like what he was winning in the corn fairy in this feels like a nice Jake knap field to me uh I’m taking Jake knap plus 8,000 I love the bomb the drive get it around there make the putts got bunch of birdies he’s definitely a birdie Fest kind of guy yeah that is shot that’s a surprising pick to me but you made a good case for it so I won’t I don’t really have much to say negative L um yeah when I did the uh the tournament like comp metric uh the Mexico open was the the highest comp um in terms of ones played so far this year uh so that’s another element to it I think I’m just you know I think I just find it hard to Fathom a guy winning twice in in his rookie season on the PJ tour in such short order uh but you know what could happen it’s the right field for it so I totally hear you um all right M third and final pick I’m going I should be in around the 5,000 range it’s a guy who was he had a putt uh right there at 5,000 he had a putt to send the zert classic to a playoff or not to send it to a playoff but to join the playoff he couldn’t make it Mark hubard I love the way he’s been playing lately he’s been trending up he’s been right in contention um what was that tourn yeah he was I think he was right in contention when Steph joerger won the the Texas tournament and uh he played really well last week of course and hub’s always been hub’s been he’s done this progression the last couple Seasons last year he kind of stunk and then really turned it on the middle of the year um I think it’s a good opportunity for hubard to show that he’s a really good next level like next tier golfer um in that in the bottom tier kind of so I’m going mark hubard one unit to uh pull off a bit of a stunner here nice Jim I don’t I don’t hate Mark hubard at all um I I have him uh also in my placement bets so love the mark hubard play uh loved how he looked last week yeah um we have similar feelings about Mark hbert I think he’s a really good golfer uh I just like he’s he’s never he’s always all his best performances he hasn’t closed like he’s not really played well in the final nine on Sunday but he was actually great in all those like second secondary PJ tournaments last year summer yeah like when when when the the big guys weren’t playing or when there was a bigger event there was a and there were two events that week he he always seemed to be right in the mix on those second levels so yeah Jim your third pick uh my third pick at plus 5,000 again just hammering the putting I’m going Maverick mcney I love that bet jim I’ve seen a lot of chatter about mcne this week um so yeah I think you’re think you’re on the right track there with that thought process Brendon that’s all we gotta say on MAV to say yeah fair enough um all right this one uh there is I have seen some chatter on um it’s a long one uh it’s one I like uh but other people I’ve seen also agree with it I gotta find it uh where the heck is it um hold on I gotta see where it’s going to be around a thousand sorry and we’re live what did it move this much bro I don’t know oh my God never mind I’m I’m forfeiting it I’m not betting that what what what happened uh it was Peter Quest but I I I already bet it at plus uh at 130 to one I don’t know why it moved up to 7 th I guess everyone’s betting it’s called the will Zur effect dude that’s gonna move Peter Quest that much no I just think Everyone likes him here uh Peter quest uh obviously those who follow golf closely guy who like all last summer was constantly trying to get in with Monday qualifiers it was awesome um he came in th this was the first tournament uh where he made any mark on the PGA tour last year he came in 14th year um and then you remember he had a couple Monday qualifiers in the summer uh had I think two top 10 finishes uh I love Peter Quest here Peter Quest similar thing he bombs it and makes pots uh he is a a guy who’s good at the easy courses um I really like the Peter Quest play I don’t like it now that it’s plus 7,000 um so I do have two other bets so I’m gonna I’m going to back off my peter Quest but tell you I did place a Peter Quest bet at the better odds okay let me give you one of my other ones instead okay um uh my next one then is Doug gim Doug gim plus 6000 uh Doug gim was playing great uh in February um kind of has fallen off not played that great Texas guy likes playing in Texas great stats playing in Texas um and is is also a COR easy course guy I like easy course guys here Doug gim can go out and get you a bunch of birdies play real good this field I like Doug gim at these odds plus 6,000 I’ll take Doug gim is my third one yeah I’m a big fan of that pick he was on my board I really tried to get him in my top three but I couldn’t do it love douge went to Texas hook him um should feel right at home here uh B really really good putting stats I believe I’m not th% sure but yeah Doug gim is one of those guys who like he can go low and I want guys who can go low 100% he does everything pretty well and nothing’s like uh Stellar but he does everything good yeah his stats were incredible uh like through the end of February and then he had a few really bad weeks which has kind of thrown those off yep yeah he was right in contention Scottdale was right in contention at the PG at the Players Championship um but then Doug’s falling off a little bit since then but yeah um definitely good spot for him to regain his form um so let’s just give a quick little recap of our three outright picks I did see Wu Kim for two units Tom hogi and Mark hubard for one Jim I did Adam Scott Maverick mcney and Taylor Montgomery each for one unit uh I did Sheamus power Jake knp uh and Doug gim all right I like’s pick the nap and gim are sneaky little picks I I have a an add-on winner yeah we we’ll we’ll get to that addons I know but we’re in just winners it’s just an outright winner no go ahead say it then uh all right it’s Ryan Fox uh Ryan Fox played really good outrageous odds outrageous odds played really good this week this is a guy who when he gets hot is awesome this is a guy who in the in the late summer early fall was the favorite in every DP tournament and won multiple of them and Ken definitely go low uh he’s kind of gotten hot he played the first two rounds of the Masters fantastic was right there in the top of the leaderboard uh played really good this past week look out for this is a Ryan Fox spot at plus 8,000 I really like those odds I actually can’t believe it’s 8,000 yeah throw a Sprinkle you got to sprinkle that I think he’s got an equal chance to win this tournament to like Adam Scott for example sprinkle you got you guys should sprink I really recommend a sprinkle on Ryan Fox you’re not going to regret it I love I love the odds you’re getting there sprinkle right now um all right we’re going to go over to should have bet top five these are our three placement bets that we like the best um I’ll kick us off Bren bring me to a guy you’re just talking about Peter Quest oh Peter Quest oh boy it stinks how much he’s moved huh I took kind of a long shot approach with the placements this week as opposed to the outright winners um so I’m not all just chalk like it seemed like I might be but I’m going Peter Quest top there’s no such thing as Chalk in this tournament dude yeah I know I know but uh yeah I just mean you know the upper upper tier of the odds but um going Peter Quest top 10 he’s been playing sneaky good golf this year he’s a totally he a very very nice midlevel golfer he seems to play his way into the pack in a lot of these tournaments you remember last year he had that incredible run incredible story of all the qualifying and and yeah dude the ones he’s in especially ones that are like the the low the the the good score tournaments the shooting in the minus 20s he seems to make he seems to always be on the board yeah I’m a big fan of this kid and uh it’d be awesome to see him break through um he got real close to winning a tournament last year as a auto as a Monday qualifier was insane honestly and he came in 14th here last year yeah I didn’t know that but uh um that makes me feel good about picking him for top 10 I had it plus 800 last night I’m going to get it plus 700 right now so um yeah Peter Quest my first placement bet let’s go over to Jimmy metrics we love the quest bet yeah so I like the quest pick um Brendan mentioned this guy earlier and that he didn’t think he could win but he could definitely do a top 20 I have Alex noren at plus 130 T20 that’s the exact correct Alex norin bet yep he I mean we’re talking about full Fields this year seven out of nine events he’s finished T30 I feel you take some of the better golfers in the world out of that that puts him squarely in T20 uh I’m doing three units on Alex nor and T20 he’s playing excellent golf he was my he I was battling back and forth in my head between whether to put Tom hogi or Alex norn as my second outright winner so I absolutely love that pick J nice my opinion of Alex norin is like this is a guy this is a guy you do placement bets on because he’s consistent he’s good he makes Cuts he gets in it I I gota pull up he has even considered scaring anyone that he might win I I have a I have an incredible Alex noren stat I’ve got to I’ve got to say because I read it last night I gotta find it it will take me one second I’m kind of surprised he hasn’t scared anybody though I mean his his numbers are good in every category any tournament like if you look at the ones it’s like he’s just battling around ninth and tth he’s never like scraping at one here here is the stat that is incredible about Alex n he is on the tour this year in Greens in regulation and he’s first in scrambling so he doesn’t need to scramble much but when he does he gets up and down he’s also fourth in adjusted scoring and five consecutive top 25s so he like to Bron’s point he’s scrapping around but he doesn’t seem to be threatening the win I also love a guy who can scramble in this tournament just get it up near the green somewhere with your drive I don’t care how I mean it’s wide open you’re not going to be in trouble so just get up and down all day now keep in mind this dude has 11 International victories he just hasn’t broken through on the PGA tour so uh Jim I think it’s a nice sharp play but to Brendan’s exact point he’s got seven top 30s eight seven top 30s this year only one top 10 yeah the top 20 is the BET yeah no I’m backing it up I just backed it up brenon what’s your first placement bet uh my first placement bet is you know Zach already hit on him uh Tom hogi top 10 plus 300 I hit I hit on Tom hogi yeah uh Tom hogi top 10 plus 300 um I just don’t I Tom Hog’s gonna play good he’s playing such good golf uh the most consistent like ball striking right now TD green he’s playing like Scotty sheffler out there uh he’s really playing fantastic golf I love Tom hogi to be top 10 you know a lot of Hometown stuff A lot of people are on him this week uh I’ll take the plus 300 for top 10 I like that a lot love it um my next placement pick it’s gonna be way down the pike here BR Tom Hog’s a two-unit top 10 sorry two unit okay love it love it top top 10 two units on plus 300 Tom hogi like that bet uh my next one’s way down there uh I want to say he’s somewhere in like the 15,000 it’s Bryce Garnett good luck finding him um not a guy we talk there he is not a guy we talk about very much not really uh a guy that gets a lot of Pub on the PGA tour but he’s playing nice he’s playing some nice golf out there I I don’t know I have this strange feeling he he competes this week for some reason I’m going with him top 10 at plus 1100 don’t have I have nothing to back it up I’ve got no stats it’s called a dart baby it’s it’s my I read like a couple articles on the tournament every week and help formulate maybe some of my opinions I usually ignore most of it and make my own picks but I always steal one pick per week this is my stolen pick this yeah we love a good stolen pick sometimes I copy a pick this is a copied pick so there you go guys great content for the show Jim who’s up here I have a stolen pick as well um I’m looking at his numbers it doesn’t fit with the model that I was looking at but everyone seem to be tossed around his name I’m doing sjm for top five absolutely um I’m going to do two units on sunj uh yeah love that bet Jim um wildly inconsistent this season though yeah but sneaky people might not realize he actually played a tournament in South Korea last week and won he he won he yeah he won last year too he won he defended his title successfully in South Korea this yeah so like I said went he went somewhere saw the ball go through the hoop you know take a shot get a win all of a sudden the relief relief is on you we do think maybe this a place you know Koreans win yeah I think sjm is a is a sneaky one here the thing that really worries me about involving him is that every week he’s using a different putter which makes me think he’s thinking about it way too much we talked about it all the way back at the cognizant this dude just plays every week he he he goes to Korea to play he goes he didn’t have a partner last week all right I’ll go play in the yeah he just plays he just plays every single week like I said he let he broke the pga2 a record last season for total he likes playing golf total birdies in a season I mean we’re talking about like it’s crazy his life is travel the world and play golf and I was like he does it a little too much sounds you no no no I’m doub I’m cool with it it’s just like it’s just he he took one one week off last year he’s a maniac yeah yeah I mean uh I know a lot of retirees who play more golf than him still so yeah yeah like taking a week off when you’re a professional golfer is a little silly because every week you’re on vacation like you’re doing what I want to do for my vacation yeah correct correct so yeah all right uh my next placement uh my next placement I’m going top 20 uh and a man who has already won this year where did did he go where did he go Stephen Jagger plus 140 top 20 uh love Stephen Jagger uh already W in Texas uh I’ve got this thing in my head about like you play good in Texas you play good in Texas again um he’s been playing good golf this is the kind of tournament you like a Stephen joerger in scoring low uh can do it all like Stephen jger to play well here yeah I fully support that nothing wrong with that pick yep for my third placement pick I’m going to stay right here the top 20s we’re going to go way down to about 650 though okay a guy who has odds I just simply do not understand this week at all um let’s see if we can find Henrik norlander oh yeah I just do not UND he’s going off at 250 to one to win this tournament he’s at six plus 650 for top 20 I mean he’s been inconsistent this year he does strugg struggle I believe putting the ball um I want to say say uh but he played great last week he was right in contention to win the team tournament with Luke list they just didn’t have a great Sunday um he was great at Mexico he was he was in the top 10 I believe at at uh Vidant Viera at the Mexico open um that’s a good comp here I noticed that too Brendon brought it up earlier I just I don’t get I don’t get the odds here I don’t get it he’s a he’s a pretty talented golfer who competed last year in a bunch of tournaments um was right there and I think Jim had him in a couple nice hits last year I’m a big fan of the Norland Jim had him in the in the Mexico this year yeah I just don’t I just do not understand him getting 250 to one on this course and plus 650 top 20 so that of all the guys in this tier it just stood it was like in bold italics to me I’m like okay this guy does not belong in this section yeah this top 20 is the way to bet it I love this top 20 Mark me down to join you on this I mean not like literally I’m G to place a wager on that yeah top 20s already this year and the four events he’s played beautiful absolutely love the I don’t I’m so confused I wonder what they know I’m sure he’s gonna miss the cut by a lot it’s plus 650 yeah I absolutely love it yeah it’s like it’s like a Scotty sheer to win a tournament line so I’ll hop right on it for top stole the thunder on it but Mark hubard uh top 20 plus 240 absolutely love that of course I love the Mark hubard I like to be to be mix in in the tournament um I get scared of of certain guys to win getting on that just looking at the guys around him in that space too like he’s way better than all those guys we watched him play really well and he’s the very talented guy who hits the ball a mile off the team I just I mean the plus 650 line with like a guy who’s I mean I think there’s one out of three times he’s gonna be top 20 in this so yeah yeah I I yeah exactly exactly it’s it’s an odds bet and I just don’t know I think they made a mistake and just like put him down too low or something but I think he’s well suited to this kind of uh this kind of tournament too so yeah like it I like lead with a few holes to go twice this season so he’s clearly talented but he has not shown mental fortitude yeah and it was like kind of similar tournaments scoring tournaments all that all right live I I check out the leaderboard and it’s very good it updates like right on time it’s it’s really good for the zurk classic uh it went to like like MS DOS like like black and white plain text like kind of that kind of sick dude it was no it was it was unreadable I like The Vibes of it yeah I get what you’re saying it just you know I couldn’t really I couldn’t really follow along with a turn was into it um you saw it too oh yeah the app itself didn’t even give you scores it was like this isn’t going on but it wouldn’t even it wouldn’t even update till the end it updated like once once an hour yeah yeah it was like getting the newspaper and seeing who was yeah yeah exactly it was sick all right newspap like an oldfashioned box score let’s start with the uh let’s start with the DP um and then we can have we can finish off the tournament with Brendan’s live segment that sounds exciting um so the DP tour last week like I explained in Japan we had uh a local Japanese golfer win it um this week we go to China for the China open or the Volvo or something like that so yeah the Volvo China open all right so pull up the sheet give me your opening thoughts brendo I I don’t do a lot of thoughts on the DP I give out my picks uh I I think some of these lines are goofy um Sebastian Soderberg consistently great uh cannot win guy can’t win corre can’t win a tournament correct he’s gonna win this week guy comes in the top 10 all the time doesn’t ever win we’re gonna move on finished second last week he finished second last week yeah oh I know I had to bet on him it was infuriating uh all right uh I am guess who I’m taking it better not be [ __ ] Conor s uh it’s Conor uh plus 4,000 dude Conor you gotta you got come on you gotta you gotta just you can’t keep doing this I’m doing the live Singapore event that is this weekend um Liv Adelaide okay so I have had glances of watching Liv here and there here and there I I actually sat and watched a full wire-to-wire round of Liv uh the final round this past weekend I got I caught a bits and pieces of the previous two days but I watched beginning to end the final round of uh of Liv Adelaide um there’s positives there’s negatives uh few thoughts um everyone has hyped the broadcast and true they show more shots there’s less commercials and you see way more shots the broadcast is infuriating they show too many people shots uh you’re seeing shots that are so irrelevant all the time on the final round of the tournament and they’re addicted to the team thing and I just don’t care about the team thing and they spend 90% of the time talking about the team part no one cares about the team I don’t care at all about the team part stop talking about it and they’re showing some guy who’s like plus two because he’s technically he teams in it and like meanwhile there’s four people battling for who’s going to win the damn tournament like show them uh so that um the music is infuriating I hate the music I don’t know I don’t the music there’s music playing on the course the whole time loud music playing on it’s right brutal um they had huge crowds so credit to them it’s sort of uh like austr Australia is a great place to have a golf tournament there should be more golf tournaments in Australia uh massive crowds just awesome it was kind of Phoenix Open Vibes there um which is cool but Liv is like oh this is our major no it’s not your major can’t be the easiest golf course I’ve ever seen in my entire life um it was so easy that it was like almost not fun so that’s my next complaint is you can’t make it that easy it was like goofy easy they played three rounds the guy shot minus like 30 uh it became not that interesting at the end because one the shotgun start makes it like no they’re not finishing sep there’s not like oh they’re coming down to it everyone’s in different place you’re like this guy has more fives to play he’s going to win cuz you you just do Birdie the par fivs or Eagle uh the pin placements are so easy it was just the course was so easy that it made it like goofy to watch at the end not that interesting so if you’re gonna make it your big tournament make it harder uh I get they want to see like it just was way too easy uh so that complaint um I guess those are my complaints uh yeah one the other complaint that you missed which I noticed when I watched the uh the live tournament that was at Trump Dural about three weeks ago they um the the the graphics on the screen what they yeah go ahead yeah NASCAR the the pulsating green dots on the screen the the they give you two separate lines on the putt um oh I hate the lines on the putt yeah uh you got like little explosions when someone gets a birdie when the team number moves up it’s just I don’t know what exactly they’re doing it doesn’t need to be a sideshow you could just say it’s still golf like I think what you guys are trying to say is that this is Golf and that people should go back to their shanties correct I we I believe that is correct I think one one of my issues with it was like this was the the thing they’ve kind of been waiting for they’re big tournament it’s the final day you’ve got John Ram making a charge you’ve got Louis us tyen right in it uh Brenan steel playing absolutely out of his mind just like every shot W the course was too easy so every single shot he hit was three feet from the pin which made it really not that interesting but but uh yeah it just this should have been like a these are the guys let’s watch the Ram’s making a charge Rah going off us TI’s in writing in it Terrell hatton’s making a charge Brooks kepa’s making a charge cam cam Smith from Australia’s right there yeah like all that excitement and they’re talking about teams and oh this the whatever the hell the stupid names they keep saying are of the teams bombers and the High Flyers high flyer they say high flyer so much um yeah so annoying um the aces yeah they couldn’t stop talking about that and the lines on the putts I can’t see the putt dude yeah it it you gota they just the shotgun start is miserable it’s you watch it TR for the first two days right yeah you’re right actually it just it just should change up on I think the shotgun start would make it more interesting it just doesn’t everyone can see the leaderboard all the time and see like I gotta go right now whereas otherwise just the guy in this winning the tournament sees what he has to do guy on the finishing on the 12th hole it’s there’s no it just it doesn’t make much sense people are all finishing at the same time on different holes it’s like there’s not like a oh I gotta he’s did I gotta chase this and and there’s no rhythm to the course because courses are designed you know like to be played in order it it stinks people are the the guy in the lead isn’t coming up the 18th green with people following him and all the crowd excited to see no the guy in the lead finished 11 and like half the crowd’s over on 17 and half is on one like totally agree totally agree it’s just disjointed it’s disjointed I get that they’re trying to make it easier for the players um but yeah they’re not drumming up excitement from the broadcast or from fans or growing you know growing their product the way they could be I uh well I do think like you can make them play in order they’re they’re gonna get like $6 million just for showing up there’s elements of it that were good I do think the crowds that were sick the the idea of going to locations that love golf that don’t have enough Big Time tournaments is a really good idea like Australia should have have big golf tournaments um so that part I mean they had a bajillion people at the tournament every hole felt like the the 16th at Waste Management like every hole had like a bajillion people going nuts um that poor caddy got hit in the head with a water bottle though yeah that was ridiculous uh hilarious to watch the guy not get out of the bunker he just flubs his bunker shot and rolls back in and like 20,000 people cheer the that was hilarious yeah um so stuff like that there’s positives to it uh they got they can’t do this thing where the pin placements are all the easiest thing I’ve ever seen in my life though yeah they they’ll probably you know I hope that we don’t have to have the conversation because I hope these tours are merged by next yeah I’m just you know if I’m gonna watch it they you know come on yeah no I’m with you I’m with you all your all your uh all your complaints are super valid all right what are we betting this week let’s uh back to Singapore he feels nice and comfortable he’s got some uh experience playing in this country already this year Paul Casey 33 to1 I like it I like the bet uh I’m just gonna I I this guy’s gonna win the a tournament he played out of his mind Sunday he’s he wants to win he looked angry John ROM give me John ROM you’re doing it again yeah just give me John he’s the best player by a mile he Sunday he was out of his mind um if if it wasn’t for the fact that like Brennan steel just Brenan steel brenon steel could have shot like 50 it was so silly um the guy he missed like five four foot putts and still shot like 60 what it was a joke anyways John ROM I think is is coming for the he’s gonna win a tournament soon it’s crazy he hasn’t won a tournament uh John R all right yeah I can’t can’t blame you but uh I just don’t like the number for a guy who actually hasn’t won one of these tournaments yet yeah I know I feel like John ROM’s got a bit of a curse on him right now took all that’s exactly Wells Fargo next week tuneup it’s also the Myrtle Beach Classic at the dunes there’s two tournaments uh but yes there’s a signature event and then there’s a the smaller the Lesser event we’ll be covering the signature event big and then we’ll we’ll give you a little small insight into the Myrtle Beach event at the dun a course you have played you can tell us more about that next week um oh some personal news BR and shot at 83 yesterday I shot I shot a 41 on nine holes uh you know not a full round doesn’t really count but you know happy happy so golf season has begun for the lads in Vermont yeah I went to the uh the driving range for the first time on Sunday so far this year and uh you know when you have that little bit of hope that maybe you’re going to start driving the ball 300 out of nowhere it’s not happening everything’s still way left so so all of the same Jim it can happen out of nowhere I played nine holes last week I shot 48 then I played 18 I shot 97 and then I played 18 and shot 83 there go there you go there you go he must have been playing at Liv Adelaide hitting the driver in the middle I was hitting the driver in the middle instead of in the woods okay
