betting on games so a league investigation found that prior to the Raptor March 20th game Porter disclosed confidential information about his own health status to an individual he knew to be an NBA better another individual with whom Porter Associated and knew to be an NBA better subsequently placed an $80,000 parlay prop bet to win 1.1 million wagering that Porter would underperform in the March 20 game but the winnings were frozen and never paid wow and Porter also bet on at least 13 games from a friend’s account but none of the bests involved games Porter played in so NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said the following about the ban there’s nothing more important than protecting the Integrity of NBA competition for our fans our teams and everyone associated with our sport which is why jont Porter’s blatant violations of our games rules are being met with the most severe punishment so Porter made about 2 million in his NBA career PL in basketball and about $20,000 from his gambling
