the World of Golf has been busy for the
past few weeks there’s so much going on
that most of us can’t even hold on to
our caps making our way through the
information but luckily for you we’ve
put together all of it in one place from
the Australian Open to Tiger Woods
hitting an all-time low in this video
we’re going to get to the bottom of all
of it let’s look at four golf news first
up Cameron Smith wins the Australian PGA
Championship Cameron Smith made a return
to Australia with his win at the
Australian PGA Championship after 3
years away Smith was back on home soil
in Brisbane and had the chance to show
off his claric jug for the family and
friends who had supported him throughout
his career and what better way to mark
his return than with a victory the
tournament co-sanctioned by DP World
Tour was 72 holes of stroke play format
with a halfway cut and official World
Golf Ranking points up for grabs despite
two weather delays during Sunday’s final
round Smith managed to close out the
match with 68 shots and an impressive 14
underpar total hasatu Rio of Japan and
Hometown hero Jason scriver tied for
second place at 11 under after not
playing in Australia for 3 years Smith
proved that he still had what it takes
to win as he also won back-to-back
Australian PGA titles in 2017 and 2018
this latest victory was especially sweet
since it was Smith’s first major
Championship win for now Smith is
allowed to compete in DP world World
Tour events until a judge makes a ruling
on his status with Liv golf which is
expected sometime next year Smith’s
Victory demonstrated his tenacity and
skill providing that he is deserving of
his world number three ranking even more
so now that he has won his third
Australian PGA Championship up next

be exciting with the top male and female
golfers from around Australia coming
together the men’s competition is sure
to be fierce with three of the world’s
top 50 golfers participating Cameron
Smith will be looking to make it two in
a row in his home country while Ryan Fox
and Adam Scott are both contenders for
the win Smith’s friend Mark Lehman is
also in the mix as well as experienced
golfers like Matt Jones and Kevin kn
meanwhile there are some big names in
the women’s fields too seven time major
winner Carrie web represents Australia
with pride while Hannah green made
history earlier this year while becoming
the first female to win a professional
mixed gender event both these women are
sure to be competitive forces in the
tournament and will be vying for the top
spot Mii and minwu Le two Australian
siblings will compete in the same
tournament the isps Honda Vic open

grabs in each with 270,000 Australian
going to the winner moving on Dan
Bradbury wins the DP World Tour event in
South Africa Dan Bradbury has bagged his
very first DP world tour win after
shooting an impressive four under 67 in
the Joe Berg open Final Round Bradbury
who only became a professional golfer in
July had a One-Shot lead when this all
began he held his nerve to finish three
shots ahead of the rest of the
competition despite a bogey on the final
hole at hton golf club his mother was
there to watch and she certainly had
plenty to be proud of as he raked in
three birdies on the first nine at holes
1 3 and N which helped him stay ahead of
the pack so he could take a wire-to-wire
victory Bradbury also managed to secure
the lead ahead of Sammy valaki he
started one stroke behind but was able
to make up ground quickly getting
birdies at the sixth 13th and 16th on
the back nine meanwhile valaki only
managed two birdies on the front nine
and had a bogey thrown in there too the
yorkman successfully held on to his lead
and ended on 21 under 263 over the
course of 4 days posting scores of 63 66
and 67 Drew out the DP World Tour event
on top of that monster putt valaki hit
at the 15th hole it was clear Bradbury
was the one to beat this week and he did
a great job of making sure that happened
Bradbury said he was overjoyed when he
won the DP world tour with his 2-year
exemption this sizable
136,50 165 lb winners check and a place
at the open next year it’s no wonder why
coming up Tiger Woods is ranked a career
low it’s been a while since we’ve seen
Tiger Woods on the professional golfing
circuit almost a year to be exact the
golfer has had a difficult time playing
pro golf since he was involved in a
nasty car accident in February 2021
since then Tiger has only managed to
play nine rounds in professional
tournaments but his performance in these
events has been great causing him to
drop down the official world golf
rankings but now Tiger’s ready for his
comeback and that too with a bang he’s
ANC announced his return to professional
golf with the upcoming Hero World
Challenge and everyone knows that it’s
going to be huge this could be Woods’s
chance of making a strong comeback into
the golfing world and it could be his
chance to earn back his name in the
sport as well as a fair amount of owgr
points unfortunately Tiger Woods has
been struggling lately his current
ranking is a career low
1,266 and players with weaker records
than the golf legend are ranked higher
it’s not surprising considering his
condition but there is still hope for
Woods the Hero World Challenge is an
18-player nocut tournament that offers
owgr points if Woods wins the tournament
an owgr expert believes he can jump over
a thousand spots and get into the top
250 we’ve seen this kind of comeback
before in 2017 Woods underwent lumbar
fusion surgery and couldn’t perform his
best for 9 months but then he made a
miraculous return at the Hero World
Challenge which helped move up 530 spots
from
1,199 to 668 Woods’s performances and
form have been inconsistent in recent
times but with the Hero World Challenge
offering a great opportunity for
Redemption he could pull off the biggest
comeback yet finally Cameron Smith
dedicates the Australian PGA win to
someone special Cameron Smith won his
third Australian PGA Championship this
week and dedicated the victory to his
grandmother Carol it was an emotional
moment for him tearfully admitting he
wasn’t sure if he could win after a long
exhausting week of golf and at some
points it didn’t seem like he was going
to win it all but after all that doubt
Smith had pulled off yet another amazing
feat to add to his already impressive
resume of five individual titles in 2022
the win came early this year when he
captured the 150th Open championship at
St Andrews preventing Rory mooy’s
attempts to end his major championship
drought Smith said he was overwhelmed
with pride and gratitude when he cross
the finish line crediting his
grandmother Carol and father Des for
helping him get there he told reporters
that Carol had recently finished her
second round of chemotherapy but still
made it out to cheer him on every day I
don’t know how she did it Smith said she
was so strong and determined throughout
the entire race even when she felt weak
He also mentioned that it was his dad’s
birthday on the day of the event making
his win even more special for him Smith
reflected on how Carol and Des had been
such a big part of his journey and
thanked them for their NeverEnding
support and encouragement he said that
this win wasn’t just for himself but
also for them as well and he would have
never been able to do it without their
support that’s it for today’s video was
