I'm a devil fan. Hockey is fast. He had just released the puck. This is a forcheck. You're allowed to check in this game. I think that was a clean hit. You're supposed to follow through. These refs and game management have to go!!
Not a fan of the Rangers but it was a clean hit. Maybe the goalie was trying to warn that Rempe barreling in on the defenceman. Wasn't the goalie's fault that the defenceman was hit. Rather see him throwing good body checks than the silly fighting.
Seems like Rempe is being penalized simply for being too big. Is it his fault that most players in the league are at the height of his elbow ?
Clipping without a doubt. Considering he already had a dirty elbow earlier in the season, That was a 4 game suspension.
He did yell heads up, you can hear it on the clip.

I grew up watching hockey in the late 80s and through the 90s, and it just boggles my mind how the current era of players have developed no instincts for taking care of themselves on the ice. So many of these guys skate around completely unaware of their surroundings. They're totally reliant on the officials and rules to keep them safe, and that's a dangerous situation.
This kid is 100% taller than 6’7”
