pick nine and they get more offensive
help for their future franchise
quarterback wide receiver Roma dun out
of Washington Pete do you love the
pick know I don’t love the pick because
they have other needs I think they
needed an edge rusher but I do like it
and understand it from this standpoint
at some point you got to get a young
receiver who can grow with the Young
quarterback so I get it I understand it
now you have three receivers you can put
up a lot of points in that offense
they’re going to score a bunch but I
think they still need to address Edge
maybe they’ll do that later in the draft
I would have taken an edge player here
but I understand the process B+ I think

"you need an edge rusher. I would have taken an edge here". Liatu is probably the most talented edge in this draft, but he has serious medical concerns for many teams. This isn't the year to take a top edge. Good chance poles trades a second again for a player in a position of need some time this year.

This pick of Odunze just saved the Bears $25 million in CAP space in 2025 by not having to resign Keenan Allen.
He says the Bears need an edge rusher on a defense that runs a Tampa/Cover 2. They already traded for 1 edge. If they go defense, you go inside rusher. 3 tech/under tackle moron. Eberflus is a Rod Marinelli disciple and runs a Lovie style of defense that start down the middle. Edges contain the QB in that defense. Anything less than an “A” is a hater take when an absolute stud player drops to you.
