so today I’m cleaning my golf clubs I’m
playing golf tomorrow and it’s been
really wet so my clubs are pretty dirty
and in need of a good clean in this
video I’m going to show you how to keep
your clubs spotlessly clean I’ll share
some tips and tricks along with dos and
don’ts for cleaning your clubs and if
you stick to the end I’ll even show you
how I clean my grips so they’re just
like new I’m not sure if it will help my
game but at least my clubs will look
their best on the golf course even if I
don’t so to start with I’m going to be
laying out my clubs in my back Garden so
I’ll put out on my master themed golf
towel to protect them from getting
scratched on the floor then I’ll take
the clubs out of my golf bag and line
them up in order ready to be
cleaned you’ll need a bowl a sponge a
scrubbing brush Shamy lever and a dry
cloth or towel I use car cleaning
detergent cuz I figure if it’s good
enough for my car then it’s definitely
good enough for my golf clubs so I start
by pouring a small amount of detergent
into the bowl enough to make sure that
it’ll get my clubs nice and clean then I
add some water I use cold water some
people say if you use really hot water
it can damage the bezel in the club and
make the glue come apart so I always try
and use cold where I
can so let’s start with those really
dirty wedges first I soak it in a bowl
of water making sure the bubbles get
into the grooves then using a scrubbing
brush give it a good scrub making sure
you get into all of the grooves and
release that dirt a top tip to remember
is to only use a soft brush on your golf
clubs do not not use one of those metal
brushes as they’ll damage your clubs and
scratch them
up I like to then use a sponge to wipe
it over before using a shammy lever
which helps to absorb the moisture from
the
club give it a Polish with a dry towel
and then it looks amazing just like new
perfect for my round tomorrow let’s see
how my 7 iron will look after I’ve
cleaned it it’s really dirty so again
I’ll soak it in a bowl of detergent
getting it full of bubbles
if your clubs are really dirty then soak
them for longer then give it a good
scrub with the brush making sure you get
into all the
grooves a wipe down with the sponge and
the shammy before drying off of your dry
cloth or towel and it polishes up really
well it’s almost gleaming now it’s so
clean finally I’m going to clean my
driver and show you how I get the dirt
and grime out of the base of the screw
area and don’t forget if you stick
around I’ll even show you how I clean a
Griff of my club to make it look just
like nude so as with the irons I start
by soaking it in the detergent before
scrubbing it with the brush but this
time I’ll be more gentle as it doesn’t
need too much pressure I’m going to
focus on that screw area where there’s a
buildup of dirt and grime next I’ll wipe
it down with a sponge and you can
already see that it’s looking
cleaner then I’ll rinse it again in the
Bowl before wiping over with the Shamy
lever which will absorb the water before
I finally dry off with the clean
cloth I I think this is a really nice
shine and it will 100% improve my swing
well hopefully anyway and that screw
area is completely free from dirt and
grime
now now let’s get that grip looking
brand new again as it’s feeling a bit
slippery and shiny first give it a good
scrub I’ll start by using the scrubbing
brush and giving it a really firm scrub
all over the
grip next use the sponge for another
wipe over then I’ll soak up the moisture
on the grip with the shami cloth before
a full dry and wipe over with the cloth
or towel I find a twisting action makes
it dry better and makes the grip feel
new and tacky again which will give you
a better grip during your shots on the
course there look I think that looks
great so these have come up really nice
they look shiny and new and I’m really
impressed with how it’s come out comment
below how do you clean your clubs what
tips have I missed for next time I clean
them and if you’re looking for ways to
improve your golf then you should
definitely watch this video next and
I’ll catch you in the next one

Metal brush only damages shitty clubs.
Why is there dirt in your driver screw? Means you hit the ground.
You seem like a nice guy but this is insane overkill lol. A sink, some warm water, and a plastic bristle + towel is all you need. Cleaning your grips doesn't do much unless you give it a quick run down with sand paper before you clean it… that's why the first grip you showed looks really shiny… it has no tack to it so you're just applying soap and water to an already slick grip and making it slicker.
All looks good except for that part about cleaning old grips to make them good again. Time for new grips.
